The customer service here is horrible. Even with an appointment, you have to wait for half an hour to an hour to be seen. The receptionist is rude and unhelpful, the staff is mediocre and the dentist doing the dentures area you for less than 10 minutes. For a a service that happens so quick, it makes lo sense to have to wait as long as you do. And the dentures never are done right the first time. Unless you have free time to come in and out frequently for fittings, this place sucks in everything it does.

Go to a reputable dentist. Affordable Dentures are a joke and the service is worse. They will not make your teeth functional and treat you with rudeness if you go back to have them adjusted. I bought the Premium which is supposed to be next to the best. I have spots in my dentures where you can read through from being thin.

In August of 2010 I went to the Tempe Affordable Dentures location to obtain consultation and to get an upper denture. We live in Northern Arizona and that was the closest and was 5 hours south. He did an extraction on 8 teeth and gave me a temporary denture.

After days of severe pain and swelling, I developed a fever of 102 and called the emergency number he had given me on my sheet of instructions. It took hours to hear back from him and then he just called in an antibiotic and suggested it may be dry socket.

After 10 days on the antibiotic I was no better at all. I developed sores inside my entire mouth and the gums were so painful I could still only consume liquids weeks after the extractions. I drove back down and told him I couldn’t stand the pain anymore. At that point, he examined me and informed me the sutures had not dissolved but had grown up into my gums. He removed them and advised me it should heal fine.

I went back down after the gum swelling had subsided and he did a soft reline (even though the package I purchased called for a regular reline). I went back home with the denture fitting better. However, by the beginning of 2011 it was again quite large due to more swelling subsiding and I called and found out that the Tempe branch location was closed. No word from Affordable Dentures as to why, but I was told my files were transferred to the Sun City, AZ location. I went there and was given a reline and told that I was ready for my permanents. In the beginning of March I went in for a permanent denture.

Now, almost a year after my initial visit with Dr. Acosta, I have some protrusions on my gums which lead me to believe there may be other foreign things in my gums. I’m not sure if it’s additional sutures or pieces of teeth or what is causing it, but want to get it taken care of and do not believe I should be financially responsible for an exam/x-ray. I feel it is Dr. Acosta’s responsibility and now that I am less than 6 months into having my permanent dentures, a tooth fell out and the "exact duplicate" I purchased as an added cost is NOT a duplicate and looks like wax teeth.

Bad service, bad dentures. They are not there to please the customer AT ALL. They are there to please themselves and get money. First of all, you have to show up before 10am and you MIGHT get in to see the dentist. No appointments are ever made and there is no guarantee of service that day. We went back one day (drove 1 and 1/2 hours one way) and the dentist wasn't there (they turned us away) so they wouldn't even allow us inside for an adjustment on a partial. Also, if you show up after 10 am, they will refuse to give you service no matter what. While I was sitting in the waiting room, a previous customer was going on a trip the next day across the country. She practically begged for them to help her, but they refused because she showed up after 10 am. They told her about another location on her way. All she wanted was a small adjustment and it would have taken about 5 minutes. Also, from the beginning, my partial did not fit my gums. There was supposed to be a one year warranty/guarantee on them, but the only thing they would do is adjust the flimsy little wires. Then, when I went back after about 11 months, the doctor said there was no way for him to fix them. When I asked for him to reline them, he totally ignored me. Then, he told me he would give me a deal for one day only. He would give me my money back, but he would keep my dentures (partial). I explained to him that I needed them to eat, because I only have two teeth on the bottom. He condescendingly repeated the "deal" three more times, like I was a child or slow. I said I could take them to another dentist and see if he could fix them, and that is when he got mad. He took my dentures and wrapped them in a rubber glove, walked out of the room, and said, "That's it. You're getting your money back." He kept them in his hand while he wrote on the chart. I asked him THREE times for my dentures and he ignored me each time. Finally, he made me sign a paper saying that I was accepting the teeth instead of a refund. When I asked him if he was going to put in there that it is the only way he was giving my teeth back, he said, "Well, that is understood." Also, no warranty paperwork was EVER given to me. My advice to anyone who is considering going here is to run the other direction. Go ANYWHERE but here.

Dr. Noland is the worset Dr. Ever ! She has no chairside maners her approach with her patients is rude and direspectful ! I was a patient of her's and I came in to get a tooth pulled. The first thing she did was ... She came in said Hello and told me me to hold my head back and open my mouth so I did what she asked me to do the next thing she said was that my breath smelled realy bad and did I brush my theeth before I came in to see her... I told her yes and she just look at me as if I was CRAZY! The next thing she did was started pullin on my lips realy hard tellin me that my mouth wasent opened wide enough for her so I try to open it more. By this time my tooth was killin me and so was my lips. I try to ask for another DR but before I the chance got do so she stabbed me with the needle in my gums not once but 3x not onece did she say Sorry or anything The poor Dental Assistant in there with her look like she wanted to cry for me! After the the stabbing anb before she left the room I finally got the chance too ask for another Dr. But why did I do that... She begain to be RUDE sayin " Why do you want another Dr what you think I dont know what im doin AND OH BY YHE WAY IM THE BOSS!" NEVER in my life have i been so horribly humility in all my life. I did'nt get the tooth pulled i walked out and went somewhere else! So on that note ...DONT EVER LET DR. NOLAND DO ANYTHING TO YOU NNNEEEEVVVVEEERRRR!

In oct of 2009, I had full upper extractions - and new upper dentures, from affordable dentures in florence ky.
In early oct of 2010, my dentures split in half, I had to pay about 100 dollars to get it patched up.
3 weeks later they fell apart again - I went in payed about 280 dollars for a new set, this 2nd set split about 3 weeks ago. This time they patched this one for free. I left on business for virginia. Two days after I left cincinnati, the 2nd patched set fell apart. So I had to visit affordable dentures in chester virginia - the dentist had some compassion, and patched the 2nd set for free. Now having stupid confidence in this group I had them make me a custom denture, 405 dollars - these fell apart 2 days later - I relayed this information to affordable's national complaint dept (They asked, what would I want from affordable) I said patch my third set, and give me back my 405 bucks. Then I said what would really be fair, reimberse me for the 3 dentures that never lasted past one year (I am currently waiting to hear their response) michael in cincinnati

it will be 8 months tomorrow that my daughter had all top teeth & all but 4 bottom teeth pulled. she was NEVER able to wear her temporary teeth and now her permanent teeth are just as bad. $3, 600.00 is not cheap. she has been treated rudely by Dr. Eric Snyder & called a baby because of her PAIN complaints. I have lost track of the many, many trips for fittings. I think he needs more training or another profession. her money should be refunded.

I ordered the custom dentures from the company. The day they gave them to me I informed them the dentures did not fit. They told me it was fine and come back in 2 weeks and they would do a remake if needed, and adjust it otherwise.

I used my old dentures for the 2 weeks and when I returned they told me they would only fix any sore spots I may have and replied 'I dunno what to tell you' when I said they didn't fit. Then a man came in and said the new teeth were same as the old and I said 'no look there man, its the gum thats too high'.

The man then turned and bent over about 12 inches from my face and shouted 'DON'T CALL ME MAN! YOU CAN CALL ME SIR WITH RESPECT'. I could smell alcohol on his breath and was very nervous about his aggression because he was a very tall large man. I said 'man is just an expression, I didn't mean it with disrespect, just trying to show you the problem area on the denture'.

The man then continued shouting and said 'Get up and get out of here! GET OUT! HIT THE BRICKS BUDDY!' I was afraid to say anything else because he was red in the face and obviously drinking so I got up and left. As I left I noticed there were at least 2 other customers in the cubicles beside mine who heard the exchange.

Also my fiance was there with me. At the front we asked them to put in writing that they were refusing to make the adjustment and the receptionist stated 'I ain't giving you nothing in writing, bye'. There were about 12 customers in the lobby who heard this exchange as well.

I have never been treated this way in my life and I cannot remember being that afraid for my safety. He frightened me so much that after I left when I realized he still had the teeth the company made that did not fit, I was afraid to go back so I just called and asked. I was placed on hold then the line went dead.

I will tell you that after having thought about this overnight I am getting very upset. I paid for custom dentures that would fit, and I was given something that I cannot wear at all. I want custom dentures that fit... I paid for it. I do not want any drama about it, I did not pay for drama and intimidation. The part that unsettles me most about all of this is that I am 26 yrs old but I noticed many of your customers are senior citizens and I should really hope and pray that this office is not treating them the same way they treated (attacked) me if they try to get them to stand behind their quality promises.

I have looked online and found quite a few testimonials from consumers that are almost the same as mine. Very unsettling. I am hereby demanding in writing that Affordable Dentures refund my money because they not only didn't provide dentures that fit, but they kept them when I tried to get them to make them fit. I will cc my attorney on this email in case Affordable Dentures decides to outright scam me.

On April 24th, 2011, I had a single tooth extraction, as well as a partial lower denture made at Affordable Dentures in Lima, Ohio.

The Dentist was a Dr. Cline. I was not given a local anesthetic as you would expect, only a spray on the gum area. The Dentist tried to pull the tooth and broke it in half. After excruciating pain, he then pulled the second half. All of this without proper Novocaine or medication. He said "you can stand a lot of pain can't you?" After that, he then attempted to fit the partial plate that this company made for me. It did not fit and was shabbily made.

I tried to insert this partial plate one time before I went to bed and it broke. I certainly wouldn't have been able to eat with this partial! All of this exasperating experience and excruciating pain for the amazing low price of just $410.00! I instantly contacted their corporate office and left a complaint.

Now, I have to go to a real dentist to have this botched procedure corrected and have a new partial plate made. One that fits and one that won't break the first time I wear it. Never call Affordable Dentures! This company is neither affordable or pleasant to deal with.

First let me say I have been to the Affordable dentures in Carrollton, Ga numerous times - never dissatisfied, but Cartersville closer - bib mistake

after spending 2hr20min.for fitting of metal for partial was told to come back at11:00 to try wax impressions-meantime they had kept my upper plate(which was in perfectly good condition when I left it) only to find out they had broken it-now I am back at 2:00, seen at 5:30 upper denture repaired with a different color, so now my upper plate not only is rough in spots but is multicolored -and at this point they decided to tell me I had a bad attitude and had one all day - well duh-they must be given courses in how to irritate their patients, because it only got worse, the dr. decided my attitude was such she did not want to complete the job, so I now have a mylticolored upper plate and no new partial or upper plate which was what I went for - the premium ones - I told the I wanted my money back - well so far have not seen a penny. I highly recommend any other Affordable denture but NOT Cartersville.

I was just about to have a new upper plate/denture made by this company for $295.00 and I read all the complaints against them on this site, and on the internet. It appears that these complaints are nationwide. I am really grateful to these other posters and I decided to take my $295.00 and use a reputable dentist who cares about his work. I do believe that cheaper is not always better. My new dentures are going to be $1, 400.00 just for the upper plate, but as the old saying goes, "You get what you pay for." Also, I do know that good quality dentures can take several weeks and several visits after the first impression is made to ensure good quality and a proper fit. Thank you for the forwarning.

first off, the day i had my teeth pulled they did not fit and I told them so, they said "your just gonna have to get used to them is all".Now these molds were made before my teeth were pulled and if anything should of felt to tight because of swelling! So I asked my wife (a denture wearer)and she confirmed this.So after complaining over the phone twice, once 2 days after second two weeks after, they agreed to adjust the dentures so they will fit. Now the adjustment only fixed where they were hurting my gums! to get them to stay in my mouth they used half a tube of ploy grip to get them to stay!I wore these dentures for the day.the uppers were so big i looked like Mr. Ed (the Horse) and were not even functional, Could not eat spagettio's with these teeth without choking!But it gets worse! I was hungry and decided to take them out to eat.It took an hour and a half to get all the poly grip out of my mouth, where it filled all the holes in my gums!It was painful to say the least! But what the worst part for me is that they ignore what the patient is telling them, I firmly believe that the teeth given to me were not mine and they knew it all along.I'm going demand a refund tommorow for the dentures, if that doesn't go well you will here from me again with part 2 would recomend them to my worst enemy!

I went to affordable dentures because I wanted all my teeth removed and dentures put in. I went in about 8:00 AM and had a little wait but was taken back by a nice young lady.

The doctor was kind and understood my plight of wanting new teeth. The extractions went well and with little pain. I could feel the teeth leaving my jaw though. One by one they came out and I was so pleased. Other doctors didn't want to remove them for me.

Now I wear dentures and it is so nice. I wish I would have know about Affordable Dentures years ago.

I had 2 complex teeth removed on 02-03-11 and developed a dry socket on the weekend and could not contact them in any way. Contacted them on Monday 02-07-11 at 8:00 AM telling them of my pain and was told I could not see someone until 10:00 AM. After arriving and telling them of my pain, I had to wait almost 2 hours to be seen.I will not go back there or recomend them to anyone! My wife had a tooth come out of her partials and took it to be repaired at Affordable Dentures on 3 occasions. The very same repair work that they did keeps falling off. It cost me $95.00 every visit. The receptionist is always very rude. I called them on one particular occasion to pay them another $95.00 to repair my wifes dentures. The receptionist told me that I had to pay them before 12:00 noon in order to pick up the repaired dentures by 2:00pm that same day. I gave her my credit card info twice over the phone and twice she said my card was declined. I told her that my card is a debit card. She said that I would have to come in and enter my cards pin number to make a payment. I drove to the business and presented the same card and it went through immediately without me using my pin. I don't think she ran my card at all while on the phone. My wife told me later that the same receptionist always gave her trouble like this in the past. I asked the receptionist if I can pick up my wifes dentures now that I have paid. She said no, its Affordable Dentures policy that you pay by 12:00 noon and pick up at 2:00pm regardless if they're ready or not and no matter how far away the customer live. Why do these people have bad attitudes? Others have had the same problem as we have.

I went to afforable dentures in chatanooga tn. where they rush you through like cattle. taking money even before the impression is made. my first attempt for new top denture. I was talked onto a reline, 160.00 did not last. Second attempt, impression was made early in morn. Was sent away 8 hrs. without any teeth(they kept my old dentures) went back at 3:00 and when they came in for me to try on I couldnt talk with these new set of dentures. They had such a thick palet my tongue had no place to go. Dr. said they must not be mine. He said normally wouldnt give a refund but would this time. It was their fault. I got my refund and got the H--- out of there. Would never consider trying them again.

To say the experience at affordable denture is a nightmare is putting it mildly..in july of this yr. I went to affordable denture in albany n. y. for an immediate upper denture I purchased the new denture wearers package..$1, 200.00...5 teeth were extracted temp. shoved in your mouth after extraction, told to rinse with salt water, only instructions given... left there crying, palet too long, teeth look like chicklets, can't see my teeth when I talk, my lip hangs over, it has aged me about 20. yrs... dentist is rude, unsympathetic, she acts like i'm bothering her when i've gone for adjustments... yelled at me yesterday for talking to her receptionist about how unhappy ia am with the service and the denture.. trying to find a dentist to show some one else how disgustibg the denture is.. scraping my tongue, pinching my lip.. feel like i'm having a break down because of this place... so unhappy with every minute I have spent dealing with this place.. will find a way to get my $ back

I went to Affordable DEntures on July 12 had 4 teeth on top extracted dentist at this location was putting pressure on my tooth in back I heard a loud cracking and popping I told him to let up he was fixing to break something he then proceeded with more pressure when tooth came out they didnt want to let me see it but I demanded and noticed a relativly large peice of bone attached to the tooth and I have been back on several occassions and to no avail been satisfied and was told this past tuesday that he could not remove anymore bone if he did that I wouldnt have anything left there so here I am stuck with a peice of bone sticking out of my gum and in pain
