AFFORDABALL DRESSES return of a dress

I would like to return a dress l purchased on the 14/4/2018
it is of poor quality and not at all what I expected.in the picture the dress has much more
material at least it is photograft that way. That was a disappointment as there is very little
material.
I do hope you can help me l have purchased a lot of dresses from you and have been satisfied
so l hope ypur reture process is as good as your service.

Come on be a serious firm and give customer service.
All l want to do is return a dress l cannot use.
FloryDay seems to ignore return items why is this so difficult it is
a part of selling clothes.
Do not ignore me it is my right legaly to have my monetære returned.

I would like to return a dress which l received today 26/4/2018.
I was very disappointed about the quality and the differensiert between the picture and the dress.
The picture reveals the dress with lots of material but it is in fact very little . I am afraid it is not
accetable. Have been satisfied before so l hope this is just a one time error.
I have allready payed for the dress so l hope for a quick result on the return.

AFFORDABALL DRESSES NOT AFFORDABALL DRESSES/WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER EXPERIENCED

Been mucked around from this lady for months, actually since day 1!
Paid a deposit of $200 on a dress, go and pick it up from the Store and it's not there. The previous day I emailed and told her I would be in tomorrow to pick up. At no time did she state there were any problems. Saturday, get to the Store and no it wasn't there. No excuse as to why it wasn't there. Rang her that same day and said I wanted my money back which she was fine with. As I'd been mucked around from her on numerous occassions - I didn't trust her to follow through. So Monday I email her this and say 'deposit my money today, if I don't see it in my a/c tomorrow I will come to her store and get it myself and won't leave until I have it in my hand'. She then comes back and says 'don't threaten me or I will get the police involved' - how was what I said a threat?! She also barred me from her Shop. Anyone that has been mucked around the amount of times wouldn't trust her as far as I could throw her. (and that wouldn't be far lol) She also had the nerve to say that the dress wouldn't have fitted me! Ha' May I add that this lady is not slim herself, she is the last person to be throwing around comments like that. More importantly she refused to refund my $200 from the tone of my email lol. She said she would take me to court to see if she EVEN NEEDE to refund me.Then went on to say that the guy couldn't find the dress when I went to pick it up. Also that I HAD to buy the dress. Well how am I supposed to get it when you've barred me from your store lol. Lucky she did refund me because I was ready to take her to the Disputes Tribunal. I also said I would take her to Fair Go and she said 'actually do that because my husband is the director of Fair Go! Lol! And of course she was bluffing. And IF she wasn't I would've loved for her husband to put this on his show and make note she is the 'directors wife' ha!
Do not go to AFFORDABALL DRESSES as she imports from China and marks them up by more than 200%. I went on the website that she imports from and found that the dress I wanted was NZD150 but from her NZD400! Clearly rips people off. If young women knew how much they really were they wouldn't be buying from her. Not once did this lady Helen Burley say she was sorry for ANY inconvenience. No sense of what customer service is - she's in the service industry she should know 10 times better! Like they say, good customer service is hard to find these days - you won't get it from this lady.

And no I didn't do anything to this woman. She cray! And no her shop isn't the best if she's marking them up by 200%

Back in February we purchased a dress for $400 plus additional to have it altered. As this was being worn to a school ball, one of the deciding factors for buying from this store rather than off the internet was the fact the company "guarantee" you will be the only person wearing the dress at your function. Yes someone else could have it in another colourway (but not similar), and a great deal is made of noting down which school you are from and the date of your ball. So with the ball the NEXT DAY, my daughter gets a text from a friend "think ... has your dress" - daughter responds "not possible but send me a photo". Sure enough, it's the EXACT same dress, exact same colour and confirmation that it was purchased from Affordaball in Hillsborough Road - both in store, not on line.

At this point daughter has just had nails painted to match blue dress and is understandably quite upset. Phone call to the shop - husband answers phone & is very apologetic - will ring wife & see what they can do. Delighted that they agree to swap for something else. Only 1 dress in her size that she likes (and not registered to someone else at same event) but of course it needs alterations. Up till now I was understanding that a "human error" had been made but they were doing their upmost to fix it. What I DID NOT appreciate was having emergency alterations done at OUR COST when we'd already paid to have the original dress altered! So a $400 dress cost is suddenly sitting at around $500 - ouch! Tailor was very accommodating (and couldn't believe it had happened - recalled altering the initial dress), did an amazing job and store dropped dress to our home late that evening. Had to return it to Affordaball the next day as it hadn't been steamed (and being very delicate chiffon, we were advised with original dress not to attempt).

Yes we make mistakes, but it's the putting right that counts. This store trades off it's ability to "guarantee" they won't sell the same dress to anyone else at your event - NOT so. On the night this was evident with 2 girls in identical dresses - yes you guessed it - both purchased from Affordaball. Their dresses are lovely (but expensive), yet you don't mind paying a premium for a special event. Their assurances of uniqueness are worthless - before you decide to purchase from here, weigh up and see how you'd feel if someone turned up to your event in the exact same outfit. Balls & events of this nature are a special time in a young girls life - they should be fun & stress free - our experience was exactly the opposite.

*Just another comment, even though some dresses of hers are expensive, they are still priced similar to other shops and in some cases some of hers are even cheaper. I discovered this is just what you have to pay anywhere.

You have serious issues dude. I have been all throughout Tauranga and Auckland trying to find the perfect dress, and finally I came across her shop. And she was the most helpful, genuine ball dress seller that I've been to. I can't say I completely disagree with your statements about her prices. Some of the dress prices seem absolutely absurd to me but because this was the only place that had the dress, I had to get it at the high price. And I didn't mind that much, because I was glad I was buying off her and not some of the other shops where the staff were rude and unfriendly. You really need to calm down because there are two sides to every story, and I think It'd be interesting to hear what you did in the first place, because I guarantee there is a lot you're not telling us about what you did.

I have bought many dresses from this lady and she is absolutely amazing to deal with.
You must have done something to make her do this, her shop is the absolute best.
