Advantage II for dogs
Purchased Advantage II for dogs spending $75 to treat 4 dogs. Day 1 fleas still active. Day 2 fleas still active. Day 3 still have fleas. This is day18 and fleas remain. I have used this product before with wonderful results. Have even recommended it to others. $75 is a lot when you have to feed a family of 5 and this was a true waste of money.
I cannot be more disappointed. Do these medications lose their potency? I am now having to wash floors, linens, dogs in an attempt to rid our home of fleas.
Desired outcome: Either refund or send us a fresh supply for dogs over 11 pounds.
Advantage for dogs
I have had my two small dogs on advantage for months and also allergy medicine. This last time I noticed the viles were almost empty and my dogs were full of fleas. I was very disappointed with this plus the expense for nothing. Please let me know if you can rectify this or I will have to switch to another product. I do not have the receipt but I buy them the end of each month at my local Walmart.

Advantage Multi Large Breed Dog
I’ve been using this product for many years now. I recently purchased to treat my dogs as I normally do often, I paid $120 for 6 month supply. It typically works for my dogs. But it doesn’t protect from ticks, which is very surprising and I suggest this company to make a product that does include for ticks. As we live in a state that in the summer has a ton of ticks. Anyways, I have 5 dogs, so I used up pretty much a 6mo supply treating each one of my dogs. I treated them like a week ago bc they had fleas and ticks on them. I put the advantage multi on all of them. And I still have fleas, and they still have ticks on 1-2 of my dogs that I treated. I usually buy this brand and it normally works, I’m not sure why the past cpl times I’ve purchased and applied to my pets, it hasn’t worked one bit. So I wasted $100 and my dogs still have fleas. I won’t ever be ordering this brand again. I’m not happy about this. This is to be top notch flea treatment, I thought ticks too, until my vet brought to my attention that it doesn’t prevent ticks, and that’s the second reason why I treat my dogs with dangerous chemicals like these treatments bc if I don’t, the fleas become unbareable or plenty in the house bc my pack spends alot of time outside playing in high grass. If I could request a refund for this worthless product I would do so but I can’t. But I wanted to bring this complaint to Advantage Multi Company, to their attention so they can hopefully make some changes to their expensive product that no longer works on my pets. So I will be switching brands and I’ll never use advantage multi again. The price is absurd and product doesn’t work! I now have to spend more money on buying a flea and tick preventative again for all of my dogs bc I will not deal with fleas in my house like it is currently, and my dogs scratching and scratching like crazy bc they’re miserable even tho I just treated each of them not even a week ago. It didn’t help any of dogs one bit. Very unhappy about this wasted $100 on flea meds for my dogs that didn’t help, now I have tk spent even more to get them treated with a treatment that will take the fleas and TICKS away! Who makes product that doesn’t cover ticks but covers heart worm, ringworm, etc.As a huge animal lover, the biggest reasons I even treat my dogs with dangerous chemicals like these treatments is bc they have to have protection from fleas and ticks. I do feel animals should be treated for the other things listed that advantage multi covers, but they must change product to include ticks as well. Thanks for your time!

My dog had always taken heartworm prevention medicine. The vet was out of her brand so applied the above product. She was ill within hours. I took her to her vet who treated her stating it was an immune response to the medication in the product. The next few days my dog suffered. I took her to a 24 hour vet for transfusions and after two days she died!

I purchased 18 boxes of Advantage Multi for Cats. I was supposed to receive rebates for 12 boxes and 6 boxes. I submitted the required documents which included the payment receipt from the veterinarians office. A month later I received an email saying An image of the box top from the product package is required. That was never in the requirement. And the email stated that As long as the offer is available, you may resubmit online. Well, they wait until the rebate period is over to tell me that. This is totally bogus and unacceptable . This was several hundreds of dollars spent, but I will never make this mistake again and buy their products.
I have not received my rebate although I got email it was completed Is there some way to contact them. There is not contact information on the email they sent and it is a noreply address
rebate scam
I purchased the required 6-month supply of advantage products and was told to turn in the rebate form and a receipt showing the date and purchased products. They were running 2 rebates at this time - one for $35 and one for $20. I qualified for the $20 rebate.
My vet gave me 2 receipts with the date and products highlighted. I sent in everything - everything that was required. Even double and tripled checked this part.
2 months later I get a postcard which is a total scam. They said I didn't send the receipt, which is completely false. Here's where the scam comes in...
They say "we greatly appreciate your patience and understanding" but they do not have any contact information on the card. There is no place for me to call or email. It's on me to fix this, but they don't provide any information to do so. More scam — if you go to their website, they have no contact info. There's a place for contact info, but if you click it then it goes to a faq section. No contact.
They get you to buy products with false promise of rebate, then they lie and don't give a rebate. Then they make it impossible for you to contact them and solve the issue. Clearly, if they don't even have contact info on their website that tells you quite a bit how this company operates.
Do not buy from this company. Use heartgard instead.
Last year I submitted a rebate form for dogs and one for cats. I had everything they required on the form. I had my vet to print off a receipt for the dogs and one for the cats. About 4 months later I receive a letter telling me that I failed to submit the original receipt for the products. This is a total scam. Since there was no way to resubmit anything because they had my box tops. this company apparently never send out its rebates. If they are not going to do that they need to start giving the free dose. This is extremely bad customer service.
In April, 2018 I submitted a rebate for Advantage Multi for Dogs with all required documentation. Should be receiving a $40. rebate. Have called several times. Mailed copies of everything again on June 4, 2018. Still no rebate. I DON'T THINK ANYONE MONITORS THESE COMPLAINT BOARDS. Is this a scam? Advantage Multi is NOT the only product on the market and consumers can certainly chose other products based on this experience.
I'M HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM. i KEEP TRYING TO UPLOAD PHOTOS ETC. BUT IT KEEPS SAYING I NEED TO DOWNLOAD PHOTOS WHICH I HAVE SEVERAL TIMES. I ALSO SAYS THAT I HAVE TO COMPLETE THE RECAPTA CHALLENGE WHICH I HAVE DONE. AFTER READING THIS I'M GOING TO BOYCOTT THIS COMPANY!
I bought 2 boxes of 6 Advantage Multi for cats - 2 different sizes - and submitted 2 rebates. As I was attempting to submit the required documentation, I was guided by the submission form a couple of times saying I had failed to give sufficient information - which I corrected - and the submission finally accepted. Today I received an email saying I had failed to include a photo of the top of the box - WHY DID THEY ALLOW THE FORM TO BE SUBMITTED IF ALL THE INFORMATION WAS NOT SUPPLIED? I know why - this is how the company avoids paying the rebates - no other possible explanation.

I purchased over $200 of this product for my dog and cat. I gave three treatments over three months because I read that it can sometimes take that long before it works. My animals have been miserable and this product did nothing to improve that. We treated the yard and house twice during that time period, just in case. We then administered a fourth treatment. Still nothing. I then had to spend another hundred dollars for a different product that worked like a charm. It's a 24-hour product. I am totally dissatisfied with the Advantage and would like to request a refund. I would appreciate a reply as soon as possible. I will be happy to obtain a receipt from the vet.
