Ackermans account in arrears

I opened my ackermans account early July 2019, vangate mall store. When I got my card, the lady that assisted me explained that I am liable to make my 1st payment end of August, however I made a payment of R300 on the 26th of July. My installment was R245 initially. Even though I was told my 1st payment is due in August, I made my 1st payment end July. In August, I have not made payment because I paid in advance, my understanding of this was, August should have been my 1st payment, seeing that I made payment in July I should be fine. In September I received an email stating my account is 2months in arrears! I responded to the email to explain the situation however I have not received any response. I left it as is then made payment again end of September R800 and 26th October R1200. My account is now up to date, however I am very unhappy about the fact that I have just missed 1 payment, back in August"according to ackermans". According to me my account should have never been in arrears because I made payment in the same month I opened the account. Guess what.. At the credit bureau it now shows that my ackermans account is in arrears with 2 months! I can't do anything! This is crazy! When I called in yesterday I was told that it will take 6 whole months for my name to be clear at the credit bureau! 6months! Sick! When I send emails, I never get a response! I am trying to close this account ASAP and won't recommend ackermans to anyone!

Ackermans call centre lady was rude

In August I didn't pay my account and they didn't call to inquire why I didn't pay my account. They sent an SMS saying I must pay R383, I didn't have a problem with that. End of September I payed R350 which means the outstanding balance was R33, here comes the Xhosa lady calling me on Monday refusing to tell me her name . She was shouting that I go pay my account, and I've been having this account since 2008 and I've never faced such minor issues . I dont have a problem with paying the account but the lady was shouting at me over the phone and even called me on Wednesday and did the same thing . If the lady doesn't call me to apologize or you guys dont do anything about this issues I will close down this account and take my services where they are deemed valuable. So I'm expecting your reply .

Ackermans Putting my refund cash on a gift card

I'm so furious because I purchased something at ackermans atlantis on my credit card last week and today I send my mom to return it because I didn't want it and that I wanted my money back, my mom was told she can't get the cash but a gift card that's like forcing me to buy three again after I wanted my cash to buy something else, i'm so disappointed that I have that account because i'm paying cash on it so it means i'm using cash to buy it but it's only on a card but I can't get my money back if I return something I bought on my credit card. Sooooooo closing my ackermans account

Ackermans cell phone swap out

I purchased a cellphone for my groom at Ottery store as I was in the area. (16/10/2019) I live near Melkbosstrand. After I got home, I could see that there was a dead line of pixels on the phone, that could only be seen when against a dark background. I took the phone back to Ackermans in Tablebay Mall. They said I had to go back to the original store to do the swop out (they agreed it was an out of box failure). I spoke to the manageress and insisted. She called someone else (I assume an area manager), and was told eventally that it could not be done. I did go back to Ottery to swop out the phone on Sunday (19/10/2019), where the manageress could not have been nicer. I had the box, all accessories and the original slip, and it was swopped out. My groom is now happy. HOWEVER, I find it unacceptable that I had to travel an extra 70km to take the phone back to the original store. I checked the till slip, and those terms don't appear anywhere. Can someone please tell me what the policy is and what should have been done.

Ackermans very very poor customer service

17 october 2019. I went to the ackerman woman corner paul kruger and andries - pretoria central around 14.00. When I got there I went to the rail where I want to fetch the top cos I saw the top from someone and I wanted the same one. I found a lady there who was marking down clothes. I greeted her and I stood there. I said may I pls have that top, pointing at it. She looked at me and kept on marking down while she was talking (screaming rather and laughing) to her colleague. I stood there next to her because where she stood was right where the top was. I again said: sorry may I pls get that top. She just looked at me. I tried to stretch my hand to move the other hangers so that I can get to that top, she moved the hangers back. She changed the price on the machine and continue to mark down. I stood there until she was finished and than took the top. I am really unhappy with the service. If is was not for me really loving it I was going to leave the store.

Ackermans store manager has poor customer service skills

I had bought jeans from South coast mall, on 09/10/2019 it was small and I needed a size bigger so I went to Galleria Akermans on 10/10/2019 because I live 10min away from the mall. Upon arrival, there was a manager at the door. I had advised him that wanted to exchange or refund depending on if I find a replacement. I looked at the jeans section and I couldn't find it so I decided to just get a refund. The line had about 6 people in it and only 2 cashiers were at the front desk, who was absolutely slow! It's my turn and I get to the cashier. She looked at my slip and asked me for my card. I explained to her that my husband had paid for the jeans and he wasn't in the area for me to get the card. I then asked for the store manager and the guy that assisted me at the door came through. He told me the same thing that she did and we got into an argument about it. I explained to him it's just a pair of jeans worth R129. His attitude was disgusting. I asked for the store manager and he said he is the store manager. So I asked him for the regional manager's number and he kept showing me the back of the slip pointing to customer services number. I then asked for the regional manager's name and he ignored me and walked to another teller to assist with another customer. I then ask the cashier for the regional manager's name and then only does the store manager come back and he asks me what did I want. I asked if I could give them a picture of the card he agreed to it and I got my husband to send me the picture. After all the trouble he then tells me that it's a credit card and they have to have the card in-store to do the refund. At this point I am furious. Eventually, I asked them to check if theres a size 36 in the jeans that I had purchased and the cashier went around looking for a while. I then decided to just go and look for something myself and I found a pair of shoes that I exchanged and paid the difference and left the store. I understand that there's proceedure's but I explained to them that my husband was out of town, they could have offered me an alternate solution for a refund. The store manager's attitude is pathetic. He didn"t even want to dial the customer services number for me from the store he said if I got a complaint I must phone them myself with my own phone. The store manager's name is SITHE MNCWABE. And after asking 10 times they finally gave me the regional manger's name which is SHAM. I WANT A WRITTEN APOLOGY FROM THE STORE MANAGER SITHE FOR HIS DISGUSTING BEHAVIOUR TOWARDS ME. HE IS DEFINITELY NOT STORE MANAGER MATERIAL!

Ackermans poor customer service

I walked into the store only saw the Security at the door did not see anybody else on the floor nobody at the tills asked for service when I started to call head office people suddenly appeared head office I was holding for more than 20 min trying to speak to somebody who can assist somebody phoned me back gave me the e-mail address no ref nr when I asked her name she ended the call.

Good day

I have a complaint regarding customer service at Ackerman so store Moreleta Park.

I walked into the store only saw the Security at the door. Walked in looking for slippers looked around did not see anybody else on the floor also nobody at the tills. I walked around asked for service and when I started to ask for the head office number the people suddenly appeared.

I phoned head office and there I was holding for more than 20 minutes trying to speak to somebody who can assist.

Later somebody phoned me back gave me the e-mail address no reference number when I asked her name she ended the call.

I am really disappointed in the service from Ackermans.

Ackermans staff members

I went to do my shopping at Ackerman's stores at Moratiwa shopping center, Limpopo on 05/10/2019 at 12:00. I got to the till point and there was no cashier. I kept asking for help from some of the staff members and they kept saying the cashier is coming. I stood there for about 15 minutes and finally when the cashier came, she was very rude towards me.

Ackermans account limit raise

About a month back I aplied for a limit raise on my account. I heard nothing for about 3 week. Went back to the store on 28 Sep 2019 and called customer service. They said they will let me know within 42 hours . Until this day I havent heard a word. They could just tell me they dint want my money. I feel like closing my account at ackermans and go somewhere else.

Ackermans baby hooded towel, poor customer service

I bought a hooded baby towel for my sister but she bought exactly the same towel, I wanted to exchange it for something else but the the supervisor refused to help me, she kept insisting the towel is dirty and refused to give new a hearing, she just kept on insisting the towel is dirty.The day I purchase the baby towel I bought a baby bucket aswell, the baby bucket was full of dust the cashier didn't gave me a plastic for the towel he put the towel in the bucket but the supervisor didn't wanted to refunded for my, I am a club members by Ackerman is this the service I'm going to receive in future😡

I went to return a phone I bought this year April at Ackermans I didn't have the box of the phone the manager was so rude to me. The phone even fell infront of her and got a scratch I got out the shop without being assisted I don't know what's the way forward. Ackermans cresta staff is just the worst I have never been in that shop and came out satisfied the manager is just rude and doesn't know how to work with people.

Ackermans cell phone

Supervisor in that store is the rudest of them all... Sheila sibeko is not a good person to work with customers.
Really had a bad experience with her...
And im the only one plenty more were complaining about her same day as me... Tried to understand what was the delay and why she answered me very rude saying it non of business bit I had to wait 1h45minutes to get a phone...

Ohhhh yesterday I complained about the RUDEST Supervisor SHIELA SIBEKO... Only to find out that they gave me a phone that is not working and I can't use the phone because they just made me pay and didn't tell me what to do with the phone... It not even Rica...
I really advice people not to go to ACKERMAN'S and buy in that store...

Ackermans telephone service

Goodday, after visiting Ackermans Gezina in Pretoria 18 Sept and buying a womans bodysuit - i decided i want another one - but had so phone first [protected]) to find out for my size as i am far from this store. From 9h00 when they open the phone just rings, at 10h00 i got thru and a lady tried to help me in which we got cut off - hour and half later phone still rings truying to phone her back to asisst me. With no luck i tried phoning Ackermans in Mayville Mall Pretoria - phone rings and only going to fax - no one to even talk to! This from 2 stores is really not acceptable - what happens to client services? Sanet Kotzee [protected].

Ackermans sim card

I bought a phone Huawei Y5 lite and SIM card at Ackerman's on the 06/09/2019. I told the lady that helped that I want to port from cell c to Vodacom using the SIM card that comes with the phone, and she said that I will be able to do so. I tried to do so without luck. I then called Vodacom so they can assist and they said that the SIM card is already active and I will not be able to port. I want to use the SIM that came with phone because I want the benefits that comes with it, please help.

Ackermans bra sizes

Good day,

I am a plus size women from Vryheid in the Northern Natal. I always buy my underwears at Ackerman's but recently I bought a bra set but they do not fit me. It's one particular set because the other one fits. The specifications are the same I should suspect it's a quality problem I find this so painful because the bras are not cheap and can not be returned. May this issue be addressed because it's unfair on Customers.

Ackermans negligence of my account

I opened my account about 3 months ago and i eft my outstanding balance and both times Ackermans call me to say my account is overdue although i pay in before my payment is due and i pay more than the amount due now it is almost end of the month and they have not fixed my account I emailed proof of payment 3 times and nothing has been done a consultant called me still nothing was done!

Ackermans unethical behavior

Good day

I'm Abraham Van Neel and have a compliant, I'm currently unemployed and my account is in arrears so this lady (Nicolette) phone me now and was very rude to me . In a sense whereby she is demanding the money from me because it's 4 months now . I try to explain to her but I'm looking for a job for the past months now and that I lost my job in May 2018 but still payed up and till 4 months now. I were not rude to here, I also explain to her yes I have a bad credit record now but I can not go and steal or rob and get a criminal record aswell just to please her and Ackermann's

Ackermans cashier bad attitude

The cashier her name koketso needs more training on how to treat customers I gave her a voucher and cash and said the balance I will pay by card she kept saying my card is declined after I showed her I have mo ey in my account she still said declined then the supervisor came and showed her she never scaned the voucher she was rude to my kids and very disrespectful to me banging the pen on counter and threw my slips on the counter I dont understand why cashier koketso cant smile and cant greet her customers if she doesnt like her job or dont know how to do it she must gife the job to somebody that will appreciate the job she is very rude and incompetent. Hope u will sort her attitude out.
