Ackermans I'm complaining about my wallet that I forgot at ackermans till

I'm Phelokazi Nongidi

I had a problem at Bizana ackermans on Wednesday 12 April I forgot my wallet at the till. I remembered may be after 5 minutes I quickly went back to the cashier that was helping me I told her that I forgot my wallet, she said she didn't saw it may be the customer that I left with her took it. Then I ask the footage she called the manager then the manager said I need to pay footage. I exited the shop when I came back I asked them how much do I need to pay for the footage they changed their story and said footage is operated by their head office.

To cut the story short when I came back again from the complex offices I met with the manager at the passage telling me that there is a customer that is saying she saw the wallet in the store when I check it's mine

There was no money I lost my R3500 just like that

What I want to know is Ackermans has no footages? When you had a problem like mine it will just end like that?

I am asking for clarity

Desired outcome: I'd appreciate your response and get my money back

Ackermans Funeral cover that I never took put with ackermans but I have been paying unknowingly

I have recently discovered that I have a funeral cover with ackermans since 2018 that I don't remember applying for. They call me constantly telling me I'm behind so when I asked how is it possible cause this account was paid up until February when I took somethings for my mom, they start calling me none stop about my account being in behind. I was puzzled and got very annoyed cause different consultants would call me the whole day. Than one consultant explained me about same funeral cover that I have since 2018.

Ackermans cellphone faulty

when I bought the Premio s87 at Ackerman's at canal walk the casher who sold connected the phone was struggling a bit with the battery as it use to be very lose , my fiancé that its probably new that's why, however when he got home we were struggling to charge the phone because it wouldn't connect to the charging socket. I opened the back just to notice that the battery kinda doesn't fit I had to put a folded piece of paper to lift the battery to connect and it charged, I actually tried emailing but since received any feed back, Now my mic just stopped I can hear the person but they cant hear me, I can listen to music watch movies but just calls . Again I tried to contact someone at customer service but still nothing , no response to my emails. So what am I suppose to do busy job hunting but that's kinda impossible as when I do get a call the other person wont hear me.

Desired outcome: I would like a solution to what is going to happen with this cellphone because its basically useless.

Ackermans Bad service

At around 11.30am on Sunday 02/04/23 my husband & I went to Ackermans to purchase some much needed winter clothes for our grandkids.

Are we entered we greeted the staff but they were not so friendly & didn't even smile.

Then we proceeded to to look for the clothes.

We had difficulty finding the sizes so we asked a staff & she abruptly pointed without physically showing us.

The staff seemed very unhappy to be working.

They don't seem to know where everything is & are extremely unhelpful & unfriendly.

Unfortunately I left without purchasing anything.

Desired outcome: Plz hire staff that are willing to help customers & are friendly Thank you!

Ackermans Call center agent

I have an account since last year may, on the 1st of February i paid my overdue account..i have been unemployed for the past 6 months..the call center agents keep calling to make payment i explained the situation n they still call..today they called my sister my niece picked up n the agent literally swore at her.

Ackermans Service

Good day

Have to go straight to the point everytime i went at Ackermans at mankweng 1112 employees are being treated unfairly being humiliated by the store manager insulting them in front of the customers so how will this matter be resloved? This matter should be addressed as much as you can because we no longer feel welcomed and shopping good. The other time i was asked there was a certain cashier his name was Nkadi and Lerato they were so helpful as employee doing the right thing providing us with better service they ended up resigning because she tells everyone entering the store so just wanna get clarity that even i myself im working in a particular department and there is what we calls POPIA ACT because the manager used to inzult them they no longer available so i feel sorry for those who have left...the problem still continues this matter should be taken to General manager of ackermans and solve the matter those children i think they were forcefully forced to resign as the manager was insulting them and one them was pregnant and the manager commanded her to climb step ladder whereby she even told her terrible words that she is not the first and wont be the last at Ackermans to loose the unborn baby...those employee i appeal to the General manager of operations to investigate about the matter and bring those children back to their position

Ackermans Funeral Cover

It came to my attention that I took out a Ackerman’s funeral Cover, which I never did ,I remember I was in the grove mall Ackerman’s pretoria and a gentlemen came to me ask me do I have a Ackerman’s account so I told him yes then he said do you know that you get funeral cover for free because your instalment is more then 300 rand so let me see if the funeral cover is active

Then he told me is not active he will make it active then I realised this guy is lying to me I did read the policy and told him immediately I am not interested I never sign the policy at all

Please cancel this policy with immediate effect as I do have a lot of policy’s in place and don’t need this one at all .

I also want refund if this was bill on my Ackerman’s account and add to my instalment, I did not sign this policy. Go look at you records and see that I did not sign to give Hollard permission.

To deduct money or add this to my instalment.

Desired outcome: cancel this funeral policy with immediate effect.

Ackermans An account that was open but no feedbackck

I was asked to send 3 months payslip to verify my account I was told I was given R3400 I emailed my payslips I went into Ackermans they sent my 3 months pay slips up to this date I still wait for them to send me a code so I can start buying I honestly don't know wats the hold up its either I can buy or I don't qualify really wat bad customer service

Ackermans Cellphone a23 samsung

I bought a cellphone at Ackermans in Phoenix Plaza on 29 December 2022 in the morning. I had no cellphone so that is why I had to buy a cellphone so I can be able to communicate with my relatives in Phoenix. I was rushing to Joburg to celebrate my new year with relatives. When I reached Joburg I had to charge the cellphone until it was full. When I turned on the phone it showed me different adverts. I couldn't enjoy my new year because I could not use the cellphone and I went to the nearest Ackermans in Joburg I reported the matter and they could not help me they said that I must return it to where I bought it therefore I had to instruct my grandson to take a phone on contract by his name because I was desperate for a new cellphone. I stayed more than 7 days in Joburg so when I returned to Phoenix I went to Ackermans in Phoenix Plaza they said they cannot give me my money they had to repair the cellphone. I told them that I cannot take the cellphone I cannot use a repaired cellphone. can you please reimburse my money. I paid R4000 for the cellphone and I could not enjoy using the cellphone from the first day. the manager has tried to contact the department but you could not respond. please contact Nonhlanhla Khanyile manager of Ackermans. your immediate response will be highly appreciated

Ackermans Customer service

Today 4 February 2023 l visited Ackermans Bellville Middestad Mall and was rudely served by Siphokazi X. I was almost in tears when l bought 3 tshirts and she packed them in a small plastic . I nicely asked her if she could use a paper bag because thee small plastic was so full and uncomfortable. She told me to keep quiet as she knows what she's doing. I begged her for a better plastic and she scolded me. I lm never going to that shop again.

Ackermans Cellphone

I bought a phone in November 2022 at Ackermans Matatiele. In December the phone started to give me problems, it started freezing and made it difficult for me to answer and later in November it started to become partially black on the screen. Because it was still under warranty, I took it back to the store Date: 28/12/2022. When I left the store I was told that I should come back a week later to check on my phone.

I indeed went to the store and I was told to come back a week later again, long and short of it is that the whole of January I have been doing the same thing my phone was still not back. I went to the store today 1st of February 2023 and I was told that my phone is still not back and that the store did call me to inform me that they could not repair my phone, I need to pay for repairs and when i ask them how much, they dismissed me and said I must leave the shop they will email the qoutation. I asked that they return the phone I will fix it myself since they had failed they still refused saying I owe them R180.

My complaint here is why does Ackermans claim that their phones have a warranty only to find that there's no warrant and also why are they refusing with my phone because they failed to fix it?

Lastly it has came to my attention that Ackermans sells cheap phones with a higher price, how does a brand new phone just die out of nowhere?

Desired outcome: I would like an apology and I want my phone back before end of this week failing which Ackermans must refund me my money. I refuse to pay a single cent. I want my money or my phone

Ackermans Customer service

I bought school uniform at springs mall in December 2022 sale transaction was R2000 the 11 of January 2023 I went to Eastgate to do refund /exchange I was told I can't refund since I did not have original docket but I had a copy of the slip on my phone which I wanted to email to the store but I was told it's not allowed to give customers store email as it's only in store

And because of the high risk of shoplifting I can't even exchange for a smaller size than I decided to but new uniform on my Ackerman account

Plz assist I'm sitting with uniform that I can't use 😫 😢 it doesn't even fit my kids
I'm going to pay off my account and close this account I'm very irritate about the customer service I drove yo cloverdene to exchange I was told that Eastgate should have helped me since I had proof of purchase on my phone
But they can't help as well since I bought on promotion I must return everything 😭😭😭 I will never buy from you guys again
If your system got issues if you buy on promo

Desired outcome: Please take your uniform and credit my accounts or give my cash

I bought a pair of jeans for my daughter 2 years old around the 5th/6th of January 2023. So all along I kept the jeans so this morning as she was going to daycare I put of the jeans. As I was putting them on I realised da colour was coming out and everything was turning black even her legs, my bed everything.. When I started pulling it up the jeans just tore... Like seriously I was so hurt and disappointed. I no longer have a slip but the tags are still here with me cause it's been a long time since I bot these jeans. I went to Ackermans dy said dy can't help me cause I no longer have this slip.. I find this so unfair.. The quality of your clothing really sucks, this is not the first I experience this. Plus the guy I spoke to pissed me off he was rude

Ackermans Towels

I went to buy towels at ackermans Nkomo mall but the size on the towels and the price tag were totally different on the towel it said 85x130cm on the price tag it said 90x130 I raised the isuue with the guy who was helping me and inform him that I needed to raise the issue with the manager of which he said to me the manager was busy he cannot come hear my complaint I went on and bought the towels because I needed them to gift someone

2 hours later I went to the very same store to buy another tower hoping they fixed the mess but guess what it was still the same and they blame all this on headoffice I feel scammed and disappointed with what happened

Desired outcome: To be refunded the difference as I feel you're scamming clients

Ackermans Promise not delivered

Hi. I have a problem with the manager of Ackermans Mayibuye, he sold me 3 phones, Samsung A13 × 2 and Huawei Y70. At R4000 and I gave him an additional amount of R2500 for another 2 phones, the incident happened on the 24 of November 2022... the guy didn't deliver as promised... He said to me that I must wait for another robbery to happen... Now he is ignoring my calls, please assist

Ackermans Family funeral cover

Yesterday I went to Zevenwacht mall at kuilsriver western cape, met a lady and said she wants to see if I qualify for the funiral cover told her not going to agree on paying anything until I see paperwork. She promised that she's not adding me but just assuring me she's checking now I received sms witch state I have a policy will like to complain and not committing myself to anything because I'm unemployed

Would like to cancel the policy as it was made under fails claims other wise I sue the representative

Ackermans Staff incompetent

I am very upset being to store on th14th and 15th and was treated very bad as staff was not helpful, as I have pharchased 2 pair toughees for my kids was did not receive help at 6 accasions I have being at the store 4 times myself and two times sent a family member as size was incorrect I spent so much on transportation to change size because of staff being incompetent I will be taking it to media if no response as I had to call on my family members phone while there in the store to change size to a manager in order for help as I lost time at work. I will be going to media if no response as soo as possible.

Ackermans Service that I received at ackermans botshabelo mall

I bought buccaneer school shoes at Bloemfontein hyper mall, my child has worn then yesterday only and they are now torn it seems like it's a factory fault
Now I went to arkermans botshabelo mall to get a refund the manager by the name of Thabiso said he will not help me with either refund nor exchange as that is a store damage, I have to go back to the store where I bought the shoes at I'll get my refund there.

What I don't understand is the company arkermans is the same company whether is bloem, gauteng or botshabelo but why am I told to go back to Bloemfontein? And just f to let u know I only bought those shoes in bloem because I work near fleurdal mall but now I'm on leave I can't travel 60km whilst the is arkermans in botshabelo
Please assist on this matter, and again train the cashiers and managers on how to handle the queries, they can make fun of a customer that's unacceptable, I will not allow them to make fun of my situation

Ackermans Cellphone purchase

Place Ackermans 925 Vereeniging Arcon Park shop 2 Shoprite super store Voortrekker Road 1939

I went to the store to purchase a phone A03 Core when I got there the phone price was R1 499 and the other A03 core was R1 799 I then asked the lady working there what was the difference between these two she said it was network then I asked for the R 1 499 one by the time I went to pay the price suddenly increased and they said I must pay R1 799 then I asked how then they said they were robbed on the 31st of December and I asked how is that my problem but they kept quiet. I was with my fiancé who is white when the incident happened and I am a black lady, on top of that we waited soon long to get the phone and the service was so bad. The cashier didn't give us the phone immediately we were told to wait then ended up leaving cos she was taking so long via processing n getting a hold of the phone... then came back late to pick up the phone...

Desired outcome: We would like to get a refund of the balance and a formal apology from the store.Or at least provide us with a voucher
