called Brandsmart local store to speak with a rep. about my account Lizet answered she was extremely rude, talked over me the whole time wouldn't let me speak about my concerns & questions about my recently opened account. she needs better customer service training or get fired i dont understand how some can be sooo rude & nasty with a paying customer!

I am making a complaint because I have asked to terminate services over a month ago and asked to schedule a pick up of merchandise. I was told by Ereika Huffman that I can not return the merchandise because they can not resale it for much. The store number is 06512. In the contract it says that it can be terminated after initial payment. I can not afford the payments and now it has been put on my credit. I am highly upset with this company because I was lied to and I am also being charged $70 for a bed cover that was NEVER delivered to me and I was told that I could not take one from the store, it had to be delivered. She wanted to work out a payment option but I told her that I simply can not afford it. The merchandise still has not been picked up. Now I understand that I am responsible for payments no matter how it's done but someone was supposed to help me and they fell through. That is totally not you guys fault but when I realized this I immediately called asking for the merchandise to be picked up. Again, I was lied to by Ereika Huffman and told that it can not be returned. The store number is 06512. It's located in Altamonte Springs, Florida. This is simply not affordable and I just want to return the items and have this taken off my credit. Thank you.

I purchased a washer and dryer set and a dining table from Nebraska furniture through acceptance now.. the price was around 2, 500 for everything. I made my payments on time for over a year paid the full amount called the company to ask what was left since it had been over a year and I paid over 2, 500 so far. The manager there was very rude told me I
Was paying the rental fee not the initial cost of the furniture what? I was never told about a rental fee they gave me a option only to pay the loan off within the time frame not once did they tell me I was renting the furniture. I have reached out to the company here in the colony about the issue they said I have to either continue paying the fee or they would come get the furniture so I told them to come get the furniture and they still did not schedule a day to come pick it up so I called the office. Next thing I low RAC is calling me saying they can take over the furniture and I will be leaving through them for another fee omg these people are crooks so now I don't know what to do I can't keep paying the 300 a month anymore they have ripped me off completely and need to be shut down!

AcceptanceNow purchase of trundle bed

I was overcharged and underserviced. We were told a price and paid almost 100 over that price. When asked why. No one explained it to us. Once we paid it off, we were told we could get the price lowered by removing an unneeded warranty. I called corporate over 3 times. Still have not received a call back. I Will tell everyone I know not to use you guys.

AcceptanceNow horrible service

I started a lease-purchase agreement with Acceptance Now via City Furniture. The mattress was to have a free delivery but Acceptance Now stated I had to pay it. They supposedly took $100 off total price to balance it out. The mattress was not to my liking so I returned it. Acceptance Now still took out my payment the day the mattress was picked up. The rep, Jamie, stated she would refund that payment. I didn't get the $277.93 credit and my account was deducted $168.37 and I don't have the merchandise. This is a scamming company and now I'm going to small claims court. Enough is enough.

I recently purchased a three piece set for my living room that costed about $1, 300 and I did a payment plan with Value City Furniture which would be paid off in three months. So when my furniture was delivered, I decided to log onto the website to make a payment. First, the website seemed down or out of order. So I call Acceptance Now in Easton, Ohio and I get Cheyenne. When I told her the website was down, she rudely told me that wasn't her problem and when I told her why she had a nasty attitude, she proceeded to hang up the phone on me. I then called Value City and the Assistant Manager there Matt was rude to me as well. But a week later I realized Acceptance Now was in the same store even though he told me they were not. They were tag teaming me with their terrible customer service. It got to the point where I decided I was just going to pay off my entire bill and never purchase furniture there again. I did speak to Cheyenne once more and once again she had a passive aggressive, negative attitude and was very condescending. Why do customer service if you're not equipped to do it? Why do these people pick up a pay check if they don't come to actually work? Cheyenne and Matt are prime examples of the dereliction of duty and lack of professionalism in customer service. Because of those two, I will never purchase furniture there ever again!

AcceptanceNow furniture rental company

This is in response of a 30 day late that was reported to the credit bureau. I was diagnosed with Bone Lesion which I have been receiving medical treatment. In February I was on my way to one of your Value City Center and was involved in horrible car accident which had resulted in a total lost, hit by a truck. I did contact the office to let them know what took place. I expressed to them that I am in the process of building a house and need to make sure that my credit is not impacted in any negative way I was told don't worry Mr. Hendricks we will make sure we hold and notate your account. And we will make sure your account not impacted and your credit will be okay. I have been in constant contact about my account. I called them to get the payoff amount in the last week of March. They agreed to the amount and I told I will give them a call after letting my wife know what we are going to do about the account. When called back I told the supervisor that the amount will be ok. I continue to call the person that offered the payoff but the Major was out of the office or on vacation and she is the only one that should assist me on my account. When have open contract for a purchase for a home which I paid for interest points in the amount of $4500.00 to lock my rate. This is not refundable. The store manager returned to from being off which two weeks had pasted by then and told my payoff amount. I then later found out there was a change in the company where the district manager named Steven was no longer with company which had agreed to make sure this situation did not occur, and the new district manager named Patrick refused my payoff amount. I contacted your customer service department about the problem and they put in a ticket which later they resolved it by taking the payment as agreed which I also had two receipts stating the account is paid in full. I then find out from my loan officer that Acceptance Now has reported 30 late for the month of March on April 1st. I spoke the new district manager named Patrick district 609 who did contact me after several attempts and a few escalated tickets and said there were no notes on my account to assist me which really frustrated me to no point of return. I spent so much time working with the manager at the value city store location I continued to contact your office and request to speck to the Regional Manager named Bento over region 165 and he has refuse even give a call to hear what was promising to be delivered to me as a customer. I am requesting that this matter investigated and resolve by removing the negative 30 late reported on the credit reports. I fine the resolution to be contradictive to accepting the payoff amount for March but then report a 30 day late on my credit reports. This is sad that your company was not able to keep their word and cost me $4500.00 in interest points on the purchase a home and the loss of my mortgage loan.

AcceptanceNow the portsmouth, va location

Horrible customer service from the manager of this location. She refused to accept my payment because it was late after I called them throughout the month to let them know my reason for being very late this time. She never even discussed the options I had for my hardship this month. Only one person told me that which appeared to be a very nice young lady. She apologized for no-one telling me those options. The manager is telling everyone one that worked with her today to look at my account. Awkward! And then she proceeds to say, "you have to make both payments" mind you the other payment is not due til the 1st. So she refused my 1 payment and refused to split it up. When I told her I could do one right now, she replies, "well they are going to be knocking on your door to get it! " I walked away with my payment. Who refuses a customers payment and then threatens them? I will not let them get my furniture that I have made all payments at but 3 left and it's paid for. That's over a thousand dollars. I will contact your office first thing Monday morning! I am livid!

AcceptanceNow bedroom set

It has now been a month since inially contacted he store that serviced me ... I received the worlds worst bedroom set in history the mattress literally is crap and I'm paying about 6000, when I called and told them I no longer wanted the set they advised me a district manager would be calling still no district manager... I've called corporate they leave u on hold until you give up... the employees are rude and unhelpful... and communication it that stores seems to lack I literally had call form Friday all the way to Monday about my payment when I had told her 1st person on Friday that I was waiting for call from district manager for pick up... then I get another call offering me a settlement... I don't want it! I just want it picked up and for the district manager to have some type of professionalism and not make someone wait a month for a call back

AcceptanceNow employee and manager

Absolutely TERRIBLE service. Employee messed up my order and every employee I talked to was rude. Manager at acceptance now was the worst. Arguing with me, didn't care about customer service what's so ever. When I asked to talk to corporate about this matter, he got extreamly snobby with me and put me on hold only to hang up on me while I was trying to fix my order to get the correct table. Called back an hour later and the lady at acceptable now was nice until she realize it was me who was calling again to fix my order then was rude to me saying " oh is this is lady who called early, your things will be in on Wednesday" in the worst tone of voice, that my friend next to me was irritated at how poorly I was treated due to Bobs mess up. Will never purchase from this company again. I will make sure everyone knows how poorly I was treated here.

We would like to file a complaint against Alain Compeon... we received a call from kimberly and we were told that they were having a huge sale there, so we went into nebraska furniture mart at the colony tx yesterday.. we were told my hubby was approved for 1500 by Alain himself, so we went to look at some furniture upstairs and liked a certain set, but it was about 2600.00... so I call downstairs and an acceptance now associate answers, I ask her what the max is and she puts me on hold and comes back about 5 min later and tells me we are approved for up to 3000 since we are repeat customers... So my hubby tells the nebraska sales guy to write up a receipt... we go back down stairs and take the receipt... there was a girl there and she is taking care of us.. alain is standing next to her... the girl runs our info again and shows it to alain... he asks us if we are paying the difference? I tell him that I just called not too long ago from upstairs and was told that we were approved up to 3000? He then proceeds to tell me that what would make us think that we were approved for 3000? So I tell him again, that I just called and someone told me we were? He laughs and asks me again rudely? Very loud, very rude in front of customers? I ask him Why He is being so rude? He says he is not being rude and ignores me and tells my hubby that he would just rather talk to him? My hubby tells him, that now he has crossed the line since I am his wife and that I am with him? So Alain loudly laughs and says that we weren't approved anyways and tears up the receipt? I tell him that we will contact corporate and he laughs again and tells me to go ahead and hands me his business card? He literally humiliated us in front of customers and laughed at us like we were idiots? Seriously? What the hell? He is a manager there? So unproffesional... he needs more training! My hubby is a manager at UPS, has been for over 15 years and he would never treat anybody like that! There is really something wrong with the way we were treated? This shouldn't happen to anyone ever again! We were so embarrassed! We walked out confused and humiliated... I am in shock that an a manager would act this way? This needs to be looked into! We are very upset! If I could give this company 0 stars I would! Horrible!

AcceptanceNow Bad communication between employees & manager

So they been telling over a month that they was coming to pick up their bedroom set because of non payment ok that was the agreement and since they didn't come pick it up they wanna put a warrant out for my arrest because they have no communication between themselves I been having a broke dresser since the first day I for the furniture why no one in the store knew about it after the delivery guy tye said he was gonna inform them and send out another one! Neverrrrrr get furniture from furniture mart or through acceptance now ever worst experience ever!

AcceptanceNow living room furniture

I had to move from Pensacola, FL to South Carolina for medical reason. I have been trying since January for them to come pick up the furniture. Have even offer to bring it back and was told that is not there policy. And that there is only one collection specialist and they don't know when he will be available. I told them I would travel back to Florida so they could pick it up giving them a week notice and all I was told. They would put it in the notes. They rather list it as stolen on my credit than work with me to pick up the furniture and I'm over 500 miles away. They are a joke. Not the best or easiest people to work with. Never doing business with this company ever again.

AcceptanceNow refused to give refund and cancelled my delivery

I was told by Liana and store manager Michelle from BoBs furniture located in Farmingdale NY that my order was cancelled and I could not get a refund. Because they believe that the money I provided them for my transaction the day before was Counterfeit. I never provided counterfeit bills and my money was accepted at the time of the transaction and I recieved a receipt in regards this transaction. I asked them to provide me with my furniture or provide with a full refund. They wouldn't do neither and refused to provide me with there full name and advised me that I will get a call back from the Regional Manager in which I have still not received any call from. This company has placed the blame on the customer for receiving counterfeit money after the transaction and this is very unprofessional and goes against defacing someones character. These funds were handled by multiple employees from this company that anyone of them could've switched the bills or they could've received them from another customer. Proper procedure would train staff accordingly to review all denominations that are made during the sale transaction in which this was not done. If this is not addressed I will be filing a claim with the county in regards to this issue. Your company has now stole my money based on the above of refusing a refund and providing product that was purchased.

I would just call the police on the store, by law they have to refund the money. If you gave them counterfeit cash that's a felony and they should have reported you, but they didn't so they don't appear to be too sincere about the situation.

I financed my mattress and box spring 2/20/2017 been paying my bill every month the refuse to take more then my payment the put the over pay monies in some bull shirt account listed as suspense. 2 months ago I was told my pay off was $975 When I went in on Friday to make my payment the gurl said my pay off ( I request every time payment is made) that I owe $1236.00 HOW THE HELL does that happen. I walked to speak to the manager Chad and I'm told he no longer works there GOOOO FIGURE. The girls at the St Ann location are so rude they are ignorant and so is the now so called manager Alex. They will not even accept me to give them the full pay off they tell me no and I know why. Because they are not getting the finance monies that way. This company is the worst I sooo hate I dupid business with these ignorant people.

I will never again use this company. My husband was deployed and rooms to go was unable to use his credit without him present which left me using acceptance now to purchase furniture. I understood the 90 day pay off and high interest rates. Our payments where made in a timely manner until my husband got laid off from his civilian job. I only work part time due to our small son having a sensory disorder. When I called them they have me one month extension but refused to take partial payment. They called 4/5 times a day sometimes as late as 830 at night. We offered up partial payments and where rudely told we need to save up till we have a full payment. Here we are trying to make ends meet putting one bill off to try and pay something to this company and they refuse to take it. So those partial payments are used to pay companies who are willing to take them. The manager is consistently rude when we try and talk to her. She cuts us off and threatens us with pick up. We are doing the best we can do with a family of 4. Harassing, being rude and not willing to work with a family in a bind is unacceptable especially when the family is putting forth am effort.

These people are downright disgusting! I was hesistant to sign up for this disaster from the beginning and should've stuck with my gut feeling about the company. We financed a fridge and stove through this company in february. It is now december and we somehow still owe 1400. Mind you, the total price was 2200. We make payments of 375 a month and sometimes a doubled payment whenever they feel like it. We had one woman call and say she that she could set up auto payments for our account to avoid them calling when they open the day that our payment is due. We have her our credit card number and she said she did. A week later we get a call saying that we were late on our payment. We explained to them that someone else had set up auto pay for us. They then inform us that they don't have auto pay as an a option? So we then asked them "well who the hell did we give our bank info to then" they had no answe. Then it gets better! Recently my husband was hospitalized with pneumonia and sepsis in ohio and I had to drive there to be with him for the remainder of his stay in the hospital. These people harrassed him for the entire stay in the hospital plus when we returned home. The month before we made a double payment and were told that there would be a continuance for the following month. Now they're calling saying our account is 60 days past due when we have bank statements showing we made 2 payments last month. I [censor]ing hate this people. We're going to the total pay off and be done! I highly recommend you do not not not do business with these crooks!

AcceptanceNow living room furniture purchased from value city

i came into the store on 8/13 and picked out furniture I was approved for 2k by acceptance now. They took my payment of 390.00 dollars down and then took me to the counter for delivery, delivery didn't not have the furniture in stock and would not have it in or delivered until 9/4 that is 22 days and then the payment will be due again on the 8th. They told me there was no way to over turn my payment almost like oh well. I am upset because I have a payment due for furniture I didn't even have in my possession.

Ashlee Nusbaum of Toledo Value city and formerly of Dearborn value city. Not has been involved with several employees of value city but has also fed those associates customers. She has also been confrontational with several customers almost becoming physical. Ashlee regularly breaks policy to sign customers for a select few associates. If an audit was done this would be easily found. She regularly is late to work and has her employees punch her in and out even when she's not there. Ashlee is not a good representative of your company values.

AcceptanceNow value city furniture / acceptance now

If I could give this company ZERO stars I would. My wife and I ordered new furniture for our home and the whole experience was terrible. After multiple failed deliveries and rescheduling on their time and not mine this was a disaster. Also, during a delivery for our glass table they broke top of the glass. I was able to get a replacement but their customer service, dispatch and manger are useless. We also financed our furniture with AcceptanceNow and made every payment on time and the last payment they seemed to have never received via mail. So it turned out the same as cash promotion is out the door and we are stuck paying off the entire bill along with the now interest that was accessed. Avoid contacting this company.
We are seeking assistance from the BBB & Attorney General because this is not right.
