    Yes I agree. I just got the same situation as this author. I got the letter from AAA Credit Service Collection Agency that I owed tow/impound charges for an auto which I sold out 2 years ago. The auto was towed after I sold it. They vise me to pay out the past due total $1350 which I never seen any bill until now. I went to DMV office and mailed DMV to request the copy of release of Liability. But I don't know if it's help and get rid of the problem. Is there someone who can help me to resolve this problem otherwise it will effect to my credit record.
