On Saturday 07/23/2011 at 12:03PM at Carson Pirie Scott I bought a women's fragrance Channel Eau Tendre, 100ml worth $98.78 with tax. Transaction ID [protected], UPC [protected], entering (employee)# 231191. I made a transaction using a Visa credit card. A lady by the counter wrapped the perfume with a gift Chanel paper and gave it to me. After I got home I gave my wife the perfume and it turned out that the box contained a different Channel perfume bottle, which did not match the box (Channel Chance-- older version). Around 5PM, 07/23/2011 me and my wife went to the Carson's store in order to exchange the purchased product for a proper one. A Carson's employee said that she couldn't exchange it because according to her the perfume was not authentic(genuine) and that I couldn't have bought it there. I asked to speak with a store manager; however, unfortunately, the manager refused to exchange the product. She stated that the product had not been purchased at the Carson's store and that she could not do anything about it. I and my wife felt offended as the mnager insinuated (between the lines) that I switched bottles and put a fake perfume into the original box and lied. She was very impolite, rude and unprofessional. What is more, she tried to scare me saying that her brother was a federal agent. I and my wife made a complaint at the Carson's Customer Service as well a Harlem Irving Plaza Customer service. In summary, unconsciously I bought A fake perfume for $100 as a birthday gift for my wife(her birthday is at 07/23, on the same day the product was purchased)and I was refused to exchange the product and treated very unfairly. Carson's Pirie Scott had not only represented a very poor and unprofessional but also committed a fraud by selling a fake perfume.I kept a cellophane, a receipt, a box, a fake perfume. The cellophane has glue marks so most likely one of the Carson's employees had switched perfumes.
Pictures of fake Chanel.
I've had the same issue with the carsons in lincolnwood mall with a 3.4 oz of Chanel bleu for men I've bought it previously from nordstrom and it was not the same smell and didn't lasted as long I already know it would be hard to prove so I just don't shop at carsons anymore its getting to be very hard to trust merchandise from this chain.
Could you please help me by taking a picture of your chanel chance eau tender (a fake) to me, coz I got the wrong one too. I want to check that I'm the one who got the fake or not.
Please post to here.
Thank you so much.
