Fraud Summary:
65 Broadway Dental routinely over bills patients at time of service and completes procedures leading to high out of pocket costs without consulting with patient or in treatment plan. On 9/6/2019, I discussed a treatment plan that did not include $750 in not-covered x-rays. There was not discussion with any person at 65 Broadway dental for patient to approve of $750 in out-of-pocket costs. Therefore, treatment plan and costs were not approved. Cigna acknowledged these x-rays (D0350) are not covered by my insurance, and may not be necessary for initial consultation or diagnosis of filling. Dental office routinely restricts others to speak with Office Manager Kevin Ramirez, and no contact with billing is allowed. On 7/17/2020, discussed with office that finance office priority is finding clients who still owes them money and not discussing any refunds. On 11/24/2020, Kevin ([protected]@65broadwaydental.com) reiterated that there is no documentation to support patient agreeing to $750 costs, but assured all out-of-pocket costs were agreed to. I did not agree - no documentation, no agreement, should not be charged $750.

Desired Outcome
Patient reimbursed $750 for unauthorized out-of-pocket charges. This is found by patient as Cigna has removed $750 from patient's refunds from 65 Broadway Dental when finding patient was overcharged $1, 877 in other charges, and Cigna expresses to patient to communicate with Dental office of unauthorized procedures. Therefore, patient should be reimbursed $750 from dental office's unauthorized procedures.

Desired outcome: patient should be reimbursed $750 from dental office's unauthorized procedures.

Good Morning! I underwent an extensive and expensive dental procedure at Greenberg Dental & Orthodontics located at 1050 Buenaventura Blvd, Kissimmee, FL 34743 this February 2021 and was under the care of Sam Dirawi. To be more specific, I had a total extraction of six (6) teeth and they also sewed my mouth. This is the worst dental experience I have ever had as this particular dentist has no human compassion at all. He treated me condescedningly when I vocalized the oral discomfort I am feeling with my dentures. He behaved completely indifferent to the physical pain I feel in my mouth. When I asked him for more days off of work he rudely and condescendingly told me to ask my boss at work for a vacation. This is completely inhumane and unacceptable. I am paying for this service as well my insurance plan. It is not as I am having this done for free. He refused to provide me with adequate and sufficient days off to completely convalesce and recuperate after the extensive procedure. He also rudely advised me that he was not willing to see more often to follow up on my dental issue. He also added that he only wanted to see me once a month and not too often. He refuses to complete and finish the dental task at hand and he treats me indifferently and with cruelty. I cannot even properly eat food and I am not sleeping well which has also caused me to be depressed. To make matters worse, I am working because I have nother choice. This dentist needs to be reprimanded and reminded that he needs to be more compassionate with his patients. I am in pain and suffering and he does not have an ounce of compassion and empathy for my person.
