Sandton Branch
My is Dr Richard Kapunga S.A permanent Resident, so I behold the green ID; I’m a new Truworth Account holder that I registered via internet.
As normal process I supposed to go to complete my registration from the truworth shop, because I live in Sandton so I went to Sandton mall.
My current green it completely original and nothing wrong with it, I can be honest that it got a bit wet and I’m in the process to replace it with the home affairs.
When I got to the shop they way I was treated was so discriminating as if i was criminal, just because I did not have smart ID.
I had to be refused the service I went home with a big regret.

Returning an item
Was in your eastgate store to return a shirt bought on Tuesday the 20th around 5:45 cash.. bought the wrong size unfortunately my daughter played with the swing tag and the receipt was misplaced.. went to your store and asked to get my money back or alternative exchange for something equivalent to the amount which l don't know whether therusha Naidoo is the store manager or assistant.. she was very rude and did not want to listen to my story.. l then left the shirt in the store which l am not donating and expect to hear the way forward in regards to my issue.. l cannot afford to donate an item l bought and not intending to give it to the store.. l believe the system keeps track of sold items on that particular day and cameras are there to check.. can l kindly get further assistance from you as l lefty purchased item with the so called Therusha Naidoo..

Can't use a voucher that was sent to me by sms

I'm suffering as the amount was supposed to pay for my damaged car.
I overpaid my Truworths Account on the 02nd of February 2024. I went to the store after realizing that I overpaid on the 8th of February 2024. I was told that I will be paid back on daily basis depending on the amount they have on the store. In agreed and they called their Head office, the 1st lady who asked me verification question claimed that I failed it, and I must come back the following day which is today the 9th of February 2024. what amaze me is when I was told I even failed question 1 on verification which is what is your name? is also funny as it was not answering verification question with Truworths.
I hereby demand my money back in full transferred back to my account as I can't do verification everyday which I will fail my name. I'm willing to send the affidavit stating my account details and all the proof of payment including the bank statement that my money may be paid back as the Truworths consultant Amber said the is no other way, and others says the is.

Incorrect pricing for sheets bought on 50% off se

On 30 /01/3024 , I purchased 2 sheets on my account marked down to R360. 00. They charged me R550. 00 and agter speaking to supervisor than manager than phone calls to head office and waiting for more than 30 minutes I was informed that this was a human error and I can not have them at the marked price. Obvious not very impressed with this service.

Return of a dress

On the 9th of January 2024 I made a payment on my account directly at the store. Till today the 16th of January I'm receiving letters that I haven't paid, went to the store and was told payment is not showing even when I have provided the proof of payment. I'm really upset as this has now impacted my credit score badly. I could not even take out a contract at other stores due to this issue.

Customer service from the call center
I can confirm that my installment was paid late because I was in a foreign country and had no access to my bank account. Today at 16:14 I received a call saying that my installment was delayed and underpaid. I attempted to correct the lady, because I paid according to what is on my statement and also attempted to explain my reason for the delay. I was treated with utter disrespect and rudely interrupted. She had respect and clearly did not want to listen or even attempt to understand.

Shoes exchange
Goodday I bought shies for my son on my husbands account 2 days back. When he fitted it at home it was to big. I went back today with iriginal slip. They did not want to exchange because I did not have my husbands id or card. Ok if I wanted a refund I can understand that would have wanted that but I wanted to exchange. My question is: If I bought it for my son that is staying in Pretoria and he wanted to exchange it must I courier my original id or card to him so that he can do it? Does it sound normal. I do not think so. The lady at The Waterfront branch in Bloemfontein said they need the original id or card. I am not a happy client at all. Please give feedback.

I visited one of your branch at Fourways Mall today the 6th of December 2023
I was attracted by your offer of a bag that had a price ticket of R499,with there was a ticket attached that says”Buy this bag and get a free voucher of R150”When I get to the counter the cashier who helped me understood the message but she was surprised that the price was not deducted after punching in the product.
The receipt that then comes up says I will get the voucher on my next visit.
Thus deceiving,thus wrong advertising.

My last visits has been very disappointing waiting in a long queue and there is just one cashier. Im also very upset with the quality of the items I bought recently. Items I bought 2 years ago lasted but now my items specifically the shirts OBR and ginger mary doesn't last 6 months and the material is see through and sudden holes in the fabric, the name of ginger Mary comes off after a couple of washes. I used to love OBR but the seems comes loose and the fabric is so poor.
I have even asked them to reduce my credit limit as they increase it every 3 months as I really feel like I dont want to buy there anymore if I dont need to. I like the formal wear so I will keep my account just for incase I need something fancy
I bought a very nice jersey and a formal top and the jersey and top is just in the worst condition after the first few washes as the material is pulling strings and I dont even want to wear it
I bought a 2 pack OBR shirts that I had to take back as the shirts were laterally skew
Ginger Mary skirt the 34 were bigger than the 38 and I showed the lady on the floor.
Paying so expensive for the quality we have been getting
