Walgreens Tussin DM Max

Dear Sir/Madam

My name is Mittur Ramprasad residing at 1723 Glen Echo Road 37215 Nashville TN,

When we get sick as lay individuals we trust the professionals like you and your company and the products you put out when we are sick and need help.

So this is the issue I want to bring attention to you.On April 7th I noticed symptoms of cough sore throat and chest congestion, no fever I went to little clinic at Krogers and got tested for Covid and othe influenza test and they were negative. So I went and bought Tussin DM Max in front of the box cover it says it is for Cough and chest decongestion cough suppressant GUAIFENESIN and expectorant and on the side of the box it says Walgreen's in red letters and says 100% satisfaction guaranteed. So I bought that and used as per instructions along with lozenges. Please believe me when I say it did not a bit of good, I kept on coughing and coughing until April 13th evening, around 8 pm I used Vicks Vapo Rub applied to my neck chest front and back and around the nose nostrils and some steam inhalation and I woke up on Friday morning April 14th feeling so much better and by the evening of April 14th I hardly coughed. So believing in your product I trusted your assurance of 100% guarantee I used Tussin DM Max and it did not relieve my symptoms even once even for a short time,

So my complaint when you say 100% guarantee that means it should be 100% so for almost one week I suffered believing in your product , when I could have used some alternative like Vicks Vapo Rub.

So from my point of view it is a false advertisement and I deserve an explanation and compensation for the delay of time in my improvement,for almost one week when I could not function normally at all because of the sever cough and chest congestion I had and with use of Vicks Vapo Rub my symptoms got better with no cough within matter of few minutes. I am looking forward to your acknowledgment of this complaint and a positive reply, thank you kindly.

Walgreens Walgreens heating pad

I have been trying to resolve this situation since March 27, 2023 when incident happened. I was not feeling well and had a Walgreens heating pad on my back. After a few minutes I smelled smoke, I reached around my body and grabbed the heating pad, it was on fire. It burned my shirt, shorts, underwear, skin and chair I was sitting in. I have called customer service, corporate consumer relations department and emailed consumerrelations.[protected]@walgreens.com. As of today, April 14, 2023 I have not heard back from any of them. This is a very serious situation and Walgreens need to know about possibility of heating pad exploding into a flame. I did not go to nearest Walgreens because I did not buy the heating pad in that store. Your cooperation in this matter would be appreciated.

Walgreens Pharmacist

I have applied for prescription relief from GSK the manufacturer of Trelegy Elipta which cost $476.71. Mu application is being accepted as I am 75 yrs. old and I meet the requirements needed for my prescription help as I am on Social Security. I was missing a date on one form which I corrected and needed the pharmacist signature on my prescription print out to prove that this was my record. She refuses to sign it. I came back and showed her the letter from GSK and she said "I am not signing anything. She then stamped it with a Walgreens stamp that needed new ink and was barely visible. All the company needs is a signature or initials and a date to verify this is my record. I have called the phone number from their website last week and this week and was told that someone would call me within 2-3 days but I so far have no received a response.

They are not requesting any credentials just a signature or initials and date. To date my out of pocket expenses have reached $ 1,322.76. I am retired and n and she is preventing it. Please help me so that I can get the prescription that I need.

Desired outcome: I just want a signature and date on the last page of my prescription print out and a date so that I can get the help that I need. Nothing more and nothing

Walgreens Over priced pharmaceutical item

On April 12,2023 I arrived to pick up my prescription following a minor surgery, the prescription was for 3 bottles of Salicylic Acid. To my surprise the cost was $659.57. There was no way I could afford that, it was more than the procedure it self. I asked for one bottle and was charged $219.99 on Salicylic Acid 26% for 10ml. With no knowledge of this medication, I

did a bit of reached and found that is was over priced by at least $100. 00 according to other pharmacies in my area.

Desired outcome: A refund for the over charge of this item.

Walgreens Treatment by techs (6)

On 12 april I received text from Walgreens at 10780 Kenworthy, El Paso, TX., saying my prescription was ready for pickup. I called to change it to delivery since I had not received a text with the option to do so. I spent 20 minutes on the phone, I was transferred to six different people who, after asking for my date of birth, transferred me back and forth between El Paso and Phoenix. I was told on the last one it couldn't be done that I had to talk to the pharmacist but he was busy and I should call back. The impression I had was that as soon as the tech realized I was a senior citizen it was treated as a joke or a game. I am a senior but am not senile, demented, deaf or dumb and furious at the way I was treated. I will be searching for a new provider whose employees are trained to treat customers with respect and dignity they deserve since without us they wouldn't have a job. I had to ask someone else to pick up meds for me since I couldn't get there.

Desired outcome: Apology for treatment I received. Retrain techs to treat customers with respect and not tell them something can't be done when it can be because they are too lazy or dumb to do it.

Walgreens Payment not accepted. Poor customer service

April 12 2023. Walgreens Fitchburg WI. Fish hatchery Rd and McKee Rd.

Constantly a problem. My card worked for years and suddenly it doesn’t. I asked to delete and re enter the information. It still doesn’t work. My card is active..the customer care person didn’t know how to do an payment on file. Honestly I have nothing but problems with this company..

Walgreens Drive thru service @ 4870 Port Royal Rd, Spring Hill Tn. 37174

We waited in line for over 1 hour. April 11, 2023 at 4:40pm and left at 5:10pm We asked why there was such a long wait and the clerk said their computers were down all day. That is the same thing they told me two days ago when the prescription was called in.

That is uncalled for. We spoke with the lady in the car ahead of us and she said it is like that all the time.

Walgreens Pharmacy

Constant hassle getting medications refilled that I've taken the same dose of for years. I used to be able to get a months supply of meds with no issues. For the last year they've only allowed 15 days at a time yet don't want to refill the second half of the month. I always have to argue over how many pills I'm supposed to get a month vs 15 days. It's 6 pills a day. That is 180 pills a month. They always have to count the days down and I've never requested the meds before they are due yet they still argue. It takes at least 2 days of arguing before I finally get the meds. Never get an apology for their lack of knowledge of simple math. They have never stated why I can only get 15 days at a time now when I used to get a 30 day supply. My doctor has contacted them and changed the prescription multiple times to get them to give me the 30 day supply and they still refuse. I've had to sit and wait for hours multiple times because their "computers are going slow". The techs and new pharmacists are very rude and offer no help when they can't fill the prescription on time. My health has suffered greatly do to their lack of competence. I've contacted my insurance company and they said it's not them that's doing this that it's the actual pharmacy. They aren't very happy with having to pay for ER visits when I can't get the medications that are at the pharmacy and I become terribly ill because of not having the medications and have to go to the ER multiple times.

Desired outcome: I'd like my medications filled on time without arguing with them every month.

Walgreens Sitting in line for over 30 minutes each time.

Everytime I go get my medicine doesn’t matter what time of day they take their time. I get an hour for lunch. They take all of it. One time I sat waiting at the window while the lady was scanning and saving medicine. They were talking loud to each other about inappropriate things. The line inside and out is always so long. It takes a while to get anyone to come to the window.

Walgreens Pharmacy techs

I have used this pharmacy for years and the techs are extremely rude constantly. It’s every month I am give a run around about medications I have taken for years through them. The last time I spoke with a pharmacy tech which was 4/10/23. My dr called in the PA for the meds they said it needed when I asked what the prob was with it now that everything has been handled she proceeded to get even

More rude and laughed about my frustrations which I didn’t find funny at all. When I asked how much the meds was so I could just pay for it to get it over with she hung up the phone on me. I have literally had problems with them since the beginning of the year on meds I have been taking for years and I’m not talking about insurance probs I’m talking about just the rudeness from the pharmacy techs. As of today y’all have lost my business In all areas and I transferred all my meds to. CVS. There is no sense in just pure rudeness. They need better trained on customer service in a serious way.

Desired outcome: If it was my place of business a apology should be issued for the poor customer skills they lack. I can’t imagine a older person being done the way I was done and have been done by them since January 2023.

Walgreens Pharmacy

For approximately 5 years I have filled my son's insulin prescription at the Walgreens pharmacy. With the way the endocrinologist prescribed the maximum dosage and the way pharmaceutical companies package insulin in vials, a one month supply is technically 33.3 days worth of insulin. Every month the prescription has been filled, the technician edits the entry to show it's a 30 day supply (right wrong or indifferent - that's how it's been done). This month it was entered as 33.3 days and therefore the prescription was $50 more. My son paid the balance because he didn't know any better; however, the RXM (Crystal) can only explain that it's 33.3 days of insulin and that it's been entered incorrectly all these years and it has to be done this way because they might get audited and get in trouble. I WAS CHARGED TWICE AS MUCH AS I TYPICALLY PAY FOR HIS MONTHLY INSULIN FOR JUST 3.3 DAYS!

Desired outcome: I would like a $50 refund or credit towards my next prescription should I choose to stay with Walgreens.

Walgreens Phamracy phone call

This morning between 9:40 and 9:50 am I called the 2209 richmond road pharmacy in lexington ky and some very rude girl answered ans put the phone down and cussed me and made fun of me saying i was "[censored]ing stupid for not knowing when I need to pick up my presription" when she picked up the phone I said "you know i could hear you right?" And she hung up on me. I am mortified and furious. My name is Sasha Brzezinski and I will be taking my business elsewhere amd I am sickened that someone in a PHARMACY would treat anyone this way.

Desired outcome: I would hope corrective action taken aainst this employee.

Sadly she made me so angry that I hurt my grandma in a fit of rage because of her. She ended up with a fractured ribs. My dad told her to press charges so I lied and said that he did things to me in the shower. No one believes me though since I have lied about things like this before.

OP I understand what you are saying, last i checked [in 2011] they don't hire you for the pharmacy unless you have a degree or an internship for pharmacist degree, this is a first that I heard of a pharmacist acting un professional. last i checked with my local branch they are not supposed to hire people who are like that. they are usually first checked with someone watching them, if they do well then they are given the job. you might have gotten a bad hire or her on a bad day. hope it gets better for you.

i have mentioned before that I work IT and not for Any pharmacy. i have no clue who the pharmacist is who you spoke to. the marital part of your response...that is personal information. i am just stating from what i know when i spoke with my pharmacist back in 2012 what their hiring practice was. i am just a customer of Walgreens no other connection to them besides that.

Hello I have a complaint I called your pharmacy a lady answered at the pharmacy and told her that I needed my prescription for an infection that I have and that I would be there 5 minutes before they close. I ask her please I need my prescription she need to pick up today. She said I’ll putting you on hold be back going to ask. I arrived 5 minutes before a the closed in my face. I switched from another pharmacy to your for better benefit

Walgreens Pharmacy / Walgreens prescription saving program membership

Description of Complaint:

Today, April 5, 2023 - I contacted Walgreens to refill my perspiration. I was told by Walgreens, that my health insurance (United Health) is NOT CONTRACTOR with Walgreens and I must go to CVS to fill my script. I asked Walgreens if I canceled my insurance, can I be self pay. Walgreens said yes. I called my insurance, I can cancel but it wont be effective until May 1, 2023. I then contacted the Walgreens prescription saving program. Call the [protected], I explained the issued, I asked if I purchased the Walgreens membership prescription card, if I can use this for my prescription. Walgreens prescription saving program said YES. I went ahead and purchased the membership. I then went back to Walgreens with the Walgreens prescription saving program membership ID and ONCE AGAIN Walgreens said NO, that I could NOT use the Walgreens prescription saving program because my insurance on file is United Health. I asked if they could remove United Health and list me as self pay, and the Walgreens located in Apopka, FL, Said NO, once again. This is BS. I should not be locked into one pharmacy only. If I want to pay cash, why is this a problem. I purchased the Walgreens prescription saving program membership, because Walgreens gave me the green light, to do so, just to denied me after my membership member. My next step will be a class action law suit.

Desired outcome: REMOVE MY INSURANCE INFORMATION FROM YOUR SYSTEM AND LIST ME AS SELF PAY. REIMBURSEMENT FOR THE WALGREEN MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM SINCE WALGREENS IS REFUSING TO HIONOR THERE OWN MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM

For whatever reason, they are lying to you. I live in Wisconsin, am retired and have Medicare plus a United Advantage Plan. We have NEVER been told that United Health is not contracted with Walgreen's. They always honor our price structure or do better (we have been IRMAAED by Social Security, for which we are also, therefore, paying something for Medicare Part D). I have no idea what their objective would be in telling you that. I can go anywhere in the country and have my medical insurance honored at any Walgreen's. It makes no sense.

We are currently having a few issues at our local Walgreens with what appears to be a staffing change. We no longer get calls or text messages telling us that a prescription is ready, and my husband, who walks into the store to get his scrips, says the area looks chaotic. There is also some confusion when it comes to pricing. The new staff needs some training, I guess.

Walgreens Oxycodone prescription

Well today is April 4 ,2023 I called the Walgreens pharmacy on the corner of baseline and waterman to check and see when I could pick up my prescription for oxycodone. The pharmacist began to question me by telling me that we can't keep filling this prescription then she asked me if I was on a pain management program , and am I getting physical therapy. I was totally insulted by her line of questions as if I was some strung out druggie which I'm not!

I proceeded to tell her yes and I gave her my pain management drs name but she never wrote it down.

I've got sciatica and I've had a stroke yet I'm talked to like I'm a suspected drug addict. I don't take any street drugs nor do I take the oxycodone to get high I'm in pain 24/7 and without the 10 mg I basically can't have a functional day. And yes I'm aware of the addiction caution but if you're dealing with the pain that I'm having it far outweighs the consequences...I resent her drilling me when I am doing all the things required by my Dr. If I had any other alternatives then I would've gladly taken them

Walgreens pharmacy auto pick up window

walgreen located at spring hill dr. and barclay, anderson rd. spring hill florida parmacy auto pick up rx does not answer the window. monday 3 pm 4/3/23 waited on line 20 minutes, i was the 3rd car, first car never moved. i drove away. tuesday 11am 4/4/23 was firrst in auto line ,waited 20 minutes, called for service 5x no answer, drove away.

Walgreens Pharmacy

Very long waits. But the biggest complaint is not keeping high blood pressure and insulin in stock, here I am again 3 days without my medication, just left Walgreens to pick it up because I got a text saying to pick it up at 2:45. I even call yesterday and they said to come today at 2:45, so one would assume the medication should be ready, and it was 3;05 when it was my turn, got there at 2:30, to only be told they have not unloaded their medications they got in today. If that location does not have your medication that you get at the same time every month, Can they not go get it from another location, I am so disappointed in the system that Walgreens is now using. And they always seem to be a problem with the insurance and Walgreens, I have Medicare, a supplement and a prescription plan I pay for every month, and there is always a problem.

Walgreens Taking days to fill/refill overdue prescriptions not filled.

My mother has many illnesses/reasons for needing important medication. She is diabetic, has heart problems, high blood pressure, pain and last DEMENTIA. We have been customers with Walgreens a good dozen straight years, never having any real big issues. Now it’s a delay with no reasoning- informing me either online or through the app, that i need to call them before they will submit rx to insurance! Once i started calling they Then would go through and submit the refill to the insurance- which once done, no issues with insurance. Only with Walgreens being lazy. The app/ online NEVER matches with what the pharmacy has done or not. I also myself take several medications for crohns disease, osteopenia, and other issues. Because my current dr does not have contracts through Medicaid ( which i only have) . I still decide to see my physician and still get prescriptions from him. Yes, i pay out of pocket, but this IS MY CHOICE. Still, they won’t fill it , assuming that since i don’t use my Medicaid that i won’t be getting it!?! They won’t even ask or fill it at full price. I hafta go out of my way every time to say plz fill this rx i know i hafta pay full or use a discount card. My dr isn’t doing anything wrong. He hasn’t lost his license. It’s my choosing to continue under his care & where they come off basically blackballing him and his prescriptions the audacity! I know this to be a fact because u have spoken to 10+ people who were or are under his care and they treat them the same way. Im discusted. My mom could die from not having her meds and i Can suffer unnecessarily all because these ppl think they rule more ppls health by own opinions instead of doing what a pharmacy’s job’s role.

Walgreens Customer service

Very Rude and Racists!

Not only one time, but FEW times. I tried to ask about the kind of generics they stock for medications I have prescriptions for, from my physicians who ask me which pharmacy I would like to send my prescribed med to! I have to know what generics each pharmacy stock, before the office send in my prescriptions as I have kidney failure, bowel and colon resection that make me very sensitive to inactive ingredients to certain generics and I have to stick to the ones that I already know.

Walgreens always refuse to give me any information about anything. They are always rude to me whenever I ask them this question and treat me like an ALIEN who speaks JEBRISH. It’s either they are very unprofessional or very racists as I am not a privileged white.

Will NEVER recommend.

Walgreens Online order on out-of-stock lipstick - cosmetic employee not helpful

My complaint is in regards to placing my online Pickup Order #[protected] on Thursday, March 23rd at the Walgreens on 3863 S. Dale Mabry Hwy Tampa, FL - Store #13031. First of all, my order was delayed and then the lipcolor I specifically wanted was out-of-stock. Of course, I was disappointed. However, when I went into the store to pick up my other items the following morning (Friday, March 24th) I had ordered additional items as well (which were in stock). I decided to go to the Cosmetics section to see what other Maybelline lipcolors were available.

As I was about to leave the store a Walgreens associate/employee by the name of Francesca asked if she could help me. I was thrilled someone was in Cosmetics to answer my question and to possibly order this Red-Hot lipcolor from another store since Walgreens offers Ship to Store and I have done this with other out-of-stock items in the past. Surprisingly the associate who originally handled my online order never made the effort or initiative to place my out-of-stock item as being shipped since that was an option! At any rate, Francesca said this particular store does not carry the color I wanted. I then stated, "Why do you have that color available on the Walgreens website?" She said other stores may carry it. That's when I asked her if it could be sent via Ship to Store.

Francesca stated she was not sure it would qualify since you have to have a certain amount. Excuse me? I have ordered plenty of out-of-stock items and price was never an issue. That's when Francesca was going to make a phone call to find out more information for me. As she was about to call she received a phone call and immediately took it. I figured it was a call from a vendor or some cosmetic-related concern. Instead, her phone call was of a personal nature and I waited and waited and waited for her to finish her phone call. She never once acknowledged me she had to take this call. I mean I am a customer and she decides to talk and talk when she is supposed to help me! As she was still on the phone I walked off and left the store.

I decided when I got home I would call the Store Manager, Thomas. Well…not surprisingly, Thomas is on vacation until next Thursday (whenever that is). Yes, I could have spoken with the assistant manager on duty but he hardly speaks English and I have dealt with Thomas in the past on other complaints.

No wonder these Walgreens employees rather take personal calls and not help customers when no manager is around. This is really adding insult to injury because a few weeks ago I went to his exact Walgreens location and the store was closed for nearly an hour. Of course, I complained in writing. Now I have this situation where something is out-of-stock and a Walgreens employee forgets me while I am in the store standing there waiting for assistance.
