Yesterday 10/19/2023 my mother and I went to this location after I took her to her dr. appt. My mom is 86. As we began walking in all we heard was loud loud music. Waffle House customer service and food

on this day october 19th at about 11:00 i ordered a texas bacon patty melt plate i waited for my order the cashier on this first shift which was an african american young girl i couldnt get her name because she was covering it up but she had an attitude the whole time and when my food was done she handed me a singe sandwich with no bag and said good day i ordered a plate mind you and where is a bag for my food so i explained there mistake and she caught an attitude with me again the manager of the store interveined and he evn caught an attitude and screamed at me when they finally fixed my order the african american girl threw my food at me this is unnaceptable if this lady is not removed immediatley from this location i while a class action lawsuit i dont want no money i jus want her terminated asap this is a true story u can check the cameras to coobarate what im sayin i hope this issue will b ressolved immediatly thanks!

Waffle House My managers

I am a waffle House employee at 4301 citgo drive in Nashville Tennessee. My district manager is Christian Nichols the area manager is Nina something. I have been working there since November 28th of 2022. It is not been a pleasant experience, I am currently seeking other employment due to the fact that I am not being put on schedule nor am I being fired so I can't draw unemployment. I've been sexually harassed, mistreated, I've been given a car to help with my employment but have not received any title to get new tags, offer drugs, etc. I am highly agitated, I irritated, and angry. I've been trying to receive unemployment but cannot go to the fact that waffle House will not fire me, I have not been able to pay bills, eat, or afford anything else due to the fact that the managers of waffle House are not putting me on schedule. If someone does not contact me to fix this problem and to further investigate the situation then I will have to take legal obligations. Waffle House Service

We came into Waffle House on 10/8/23 at 930 am weather is 54 degrees outside and we have our coats on and still freezing our waitress was also freezing we asked turn ac down or off and waitress said cooks and manager said no. We witnessed few tables walking out due to them not turning down/off ac. You can see your breath when breathing. Pic I sent customers have blankets and hoodies on head due to so cold

Waffle House Service

I want to report an experience that happened at one of the waffle houses.

I went to the Waffle House in Staunton to purchase a meal and my credit card did not work the first time so I tried it again and it still did not work. The cashier said to me that it said fraudulent activity on her end but it just said decline for me. I then said I would use a different card, the cash said in a loud voice I would need ID as well because I should have called the police since the first card said fraudulent activity. I showed her my ID with the new card, and she looked at it and said it does not look like you, she then called her supervisor who said to her it looks like her. I then was able to pay for my meal. However, I was so embarrassed, that I called the card company about my first card while waiting on my food, and the customer service for the card said they put a hold because someone tried to debit the card a few times a few days ago. However, while I was on the phone the cashier called me and I went to her and she in an angry voice said to me hurry up and take my food and leave, I said What attitude is this, she said I tried to call you more than once before you answered, said I trying to take care of the card that just did not work. She said, "please leave, or I call the police, I should have called them when the card said fraudulent activity."

I was not sure how or why someone would threaten me like this. This has happened before to me and I am sure I am not alone. I am a travel nurse and sometimes when I go to a different state my card will have trouble because the card company may put a hold on my card for safety. However, this is the first time I had this bad experience of being treated as a criminal for using my own card to pay for a meal and also being told my driver's license photo did not look like me.

Waffle House To pay for the tooth

My husband went to waffle house and ordered eggs and hashbrowns on a weekend at the end of July at the location of 48th and chandler blvd. After biting into hashbrowns his front tooth snapped off at the top. I sent pictures and proof of going to the dentist every 6 months and keeping his teeth in good health. But despite the proof, and waiting from July until Today (October 4th), a reply was received that it was unfortunate, but the claim that will cost over $3000 was denied without reason, nor discussion. I believe this is very poor business and will make sure to tell everyone to go to the establishment for food at their own peril. Clearly this establishment along with corporate refuses to take any responsibility for the wrongdoing. My husband did not enter this establishment with the expectation of coming out with his front tooth broken off, but yet he did, and we will have to pay the price of this establishment's incompetence. I would NOT suggest eating here!

Waffle House Customer service attitude & mouth of cook

I went to Waffle, ordered a 2 egg & cheese with crispy, crispy, crispy, crispy bacon on toast.
I only get 30 mins. for lunch
I get back to eat & there isn't any cheese on the sandwich nor is the bacon crispy
I tried calling the store, went to recorded message then hang up.
I go back, speak to a waitress & stated that my lunch was almost over. ONCE she finally found the ticket, she asked me if I wanted them to remake it or a refund. I said, to the waitress, whatever. The cook turns around & tells me that whatever IS NOT an answer, either you want it redone or you don't, so I got a refund. I told the cook that I appreciated his input.
In the first place I would not have had to come back if HE (the cook) did his job right the first time!
Maybe he needs to learn how to follow instructions, if that's possible!
WAY TO GO! YOU HAVE SUCH FINE, UPSTANDING EMPLOYEES!
I will not be back to Waffle House & I will tell everyone that I can, about this store & the service.

Desired outcome: That is totally up to you, you can't make a dog change his spots & you won't!

Waffle House the cook

went to the waffle house on Bolten rd Atlanta 30318 which i visit frequently. i had placed my order the waitress was nice but while i was waiting on my food i observed the cook with nothing on his head and didn't wash his hands when he return to work i told the waitress i didn't want him to cook my food went to my care he was back the grill when i return. the other cook had on a cap. this was unaccusable.

Waffle House Poor customer service/racism

A employee falsely accused my husband of threating her due to her refusing to take to go order and us filing a complaint with her manager who instructed her to service him. Today, she refused to service him again and proceeded to berate him and falsely accuse him of abuse. There was witness on each occasion. One who was there both times. This began bc she refused to do a to go order for my husband but serviced another man with a to go order after his arrival. The only difference is the color of their skin. This occurred at the Waffle house located at 90 Whyte Hardee Blvd, Hardeeville, SC 29927.

Waffle House Servers

I am an out of townes I am here for work. This morning 9/18/23 at around 845am I went in to order. I sat at the high bar the server that was sitting down by the trainee got up and mumbled something to the manager who was at the time cooking my order and they laughed and she mumbled "and she's looking too" and then the manager said something to my server and my server then asked me to move to the chairs by the door. It was only me and two tables in at the time. I'm watching and listening now ne she k don't know what I have done wrong, as I am walking out with my food the same server grumbled her breath and sighed. I dont appreciate the way they handle customer service. It's poor. Even down to the manager. This is greenville store on fort dale road. I will not be ruturning. I can go home and get treated better.

Waffle House No rehire list

I worked at Waffle House for 5 years and loved my job I was dependable, reliable, worked hard and loved my job. I recently transferred to a new store and also a new store manager, who clearly did not like me and set out to get rid of me in which she succeeded in firing me. She claimed I stole a $10. Tip in which was untrue. Not only did she fire me, she put me on the do not rehire list! I’ve never even been written up and can’t do anything about this Everybody seems to just believe her and shut me off not right at all

Waffle House Poor service and playing to much and loud

Employee playing being loud cussing out loud people complaining went in to get breakfast at 530 and it's 615 and still haven't got served food yet I came on on Saturday September 16 2023 they serve everyone but not me and are rude it is morning shift that worked on this day names are Shanna Christine and Kay really wish someone would do something about this I come here every morning to eat and now can't get food I like coming here there is other people complaining and some won't come back for the way the r doing

Waffle House Customer service

I placed a to go order at Waffle House in Richmond, KY tonight and recieved the worst customer service I have ever recieved ANYWHERE. Both the cook and server practically called me a liar because they messed my order up and I had to make THREE trips there before they got it right. The server even walked out and lit a cigarette and stared at me as I left the last time! No apology though!

Waffle House Store appearance, food quality

On September 7 at approximately 630pm My wife and I went to the above location for dinner. We observed that there was 4 staff members working and yet there were two tables that needed to be cleaned. The only customers in the restaurant was a woman and her young son.

We were immediately seated and offered drinks. Upon returning with our drinks she took our order writing down the details of our order. I ordered the All Star plate that came out quickly without any errors to the order.

My wife ordered the Texas Bacon Patty Melt with no onions hash browns scattered. Her order came out directly after mine arrived. The sandwich however had onions. We asked that the sandwich be remade with no onions. The waitress removed the sandwich and returned to the cook.

After several minutes the waitress returned with a new sandwich. this sandwich had overcook/ extra crisp "burnt" bacon. nothing like the original sandwich. My wife removed the bacon and ate her sausage and cheese sandwich.

We were extremely disappointed mostly that the sandwich came overcooked and after my meal. We asked that the sandwich be removed from the bill which was done without to much fuss. While leaving we observed that none of the tables that were dirty on our arrival had been cleaned nor the 5 place settings at the counter. Two of the staff were enjoying their food while still standing at the front counter which I thought was a little odd.

This is not the quality or level of excellence that we have enjoyed for decades.

Desired outcome: more training or accountability for staff. this should not have happened with only 5 - 6 customers in the restaurant at 630 in the evening.

Waffle House Service

We have been going to this Waffle House every since they opened the doors (Bill Arp Rd. Douglasville, Ga (Hwy 5) Douglasville, Ga. If you try and call on

the morning shift no one answers. When you ask them they tell you that the night shift unplugs the phone.

Perfect example----we tried to call in our order this morning around 5:30 am No one answered the phone. When we went into the

store and asked Anthony why no one answered (no customers in there at all) Anthony said they didn't hear the phone ring however

then reached under the counter and pluged it back in. This just isn't right as customers do like to call in their order's first.

I will give it one more time and after that I will not be going to Waffle House anymore. I'm a Senior Citizen--no only do we not receive

a discount at Waffle House but I can honestly tell you that I have been going to Waffle House's for a Lot and Lot's of years.

Waffle House Behavior of the manager/employee... her name is Bre.

I went to purchase breakfast at 7:15 am today October 1/2023. I was refused service by an employee or manager, whose name is Bre. I ordered bacon and egg toast, but I was given only the egg in a container, when I brought it to her attention, she refused to change the order and correct her mistake, then she refunded me my money and proceeded to verbally abused me. She said, "You are not getting anything" and along with the cook, they showed me the door after refusing my order. I am very disappointed with her behavior, and her treatment of customers who were witnessing her attitude and disgusting behavior. People with poor customer service skills, should not be working at a reputable place like Waffle House. I am employed with a reputable company of over 100 employees about 5 mins. away from this establishment, I will inform all my associates not to do breakfast there and I will never set my feet in there again as long as she and the cook is employed there. I have been to several Waffle Houses for breakfast and received excellent treatment from the staff...but something is wrong with that place, and it needs to be corrected.

Waffle House Unpaid wages, wrongful termination, and pain and suffering from emotional distress

I was recently Hired on as grill op at 339 Branch waffle house Spartanburg SC 29301 and was already working and training everything without clock in codes nor other means to ensure I am paid for my work and in result, two days of work I did I was never compensated for... further more I was never given a schedule nor never contacted via phone nor email when I needed to report to work.. only when shift supervisor tell me to come back at end of each shift... also upon receiving schedule via waffle house app was not supposed to work Friday of August 24 or 25 on am shift but was terminated for leaving due to fact I was supposed to work 2nd shift those days but manager nor supervisor never contacted me or anything else.. plus still have not received my payment for hours worked prior so went and hire lawyer whom informed me to file complaint with cooperate management so that proper steps will be taken without malicious once he process the paperwork

Desired outcome: Just want to be compesated for my work hours that I have work but not paid for... also would like to be transfer to another branch and management with the company.

Waffle House Employees bumming $$$ giving sob stories

They have a female cook, usually first shift, that borrows money and gives sob stories about her truck is pawned and gotta get it out... Need money for this or that... And she usually involves her kids in it. Have asked nicely for it back and in almost 2 months not got a single penny back. She bums it on waffle house time, I have asked her manager, dist manager and regional manager for help with no help at all. Her cooking is not that good anyway. Will not go back to a waffle house again after going for about 40 years, and will tell everyone I know about my experience there.

Waffle House Mistreatment while working here, plus unsanitary store

I only worked here for a week and a day and within that time I've seen a lot that made me want to quit and not to eat there location is 2701 w Valencia in Tucson Arizona. The employers was very rude to be exact Christopher is rude and don't know how to talk to his employees. For starters no one told me in orientation that when you start training you are not suppose to touch the tip money. So because I wasn't informed that information as I was bussing the tables I was taking tips. Well about an 1hr later I got asked was I taking the tips I was truthful said yes and returned whatever money I had. Continued working to have racial slurs directed at me. And when I said something about it I was told to smile it happens all the time. The store is disgusting taking dishes and just quickly wash over them and hand them to customers I seen crusty food on cups plates spoons and forks. I got told to take my headphones from around my neck it was off and I wasn't listening to anything. But Christopher didn't tell the employee that was wearing headphones listening to music on low to take hers off. They throw buckets of water on the floor right in front of customers while their eating. No team work at all every one is on their phones not paying attention. I wouldn't recommend working here the atmosphere is so uncomfortable and as an African American woman I shouldn't be treated as such from other people.

Desired outcome: Christopher title to get knocked down he is not a good supervisor.
