This firm was hired for loan modification service, took upfront cash of $5,000.00 as payment and never applied the loan modification to the lenders as confirmed by the banks themselves. This was realized only by us when we called the lender for the Notice of sale date.
The negotiating team of this firm will advise you to not accept or ignore any communication by phone or mail from the lenders. If ever these lenders send letters such as then foreclosure and default letters, they would ask you to just forward to them and they will do the rest. The firm promised that they will fight for you. Don't ever believe that deceiving statement.
One of their lawyers, Atty Sean Alan Rutledge, happened to be the firm's managing director as indicated in their website, did only two communications to the lenders by giving you a copy of the initial demand letter to the lender, Indymac Bank that he sent to them then nothing followed after that. I learned that the sell date was fast approaching and we almost lost our home should we did not opted for the repayment plan Indymac bank offered . Now we are back to zero yet paying even more from what we left of our monthly mortgage.
None of these people in this ULG firm can be contacted and no matter how many emails and calls after emails and calls were made, it was to no avail.
I hope this complaint be posted and hoping that somebody out there can help us recover the $5,000.00 paid and unrefunded by ULG.
