I was offered a free ringtone. when I entered the pin number to get my FREE!! ringtone ..POW! $19.99 immediately on my phone bill without my authorization. NO Downloads nothing! just a reaccurring 19.99 a month on my phone bill. help!! I think I will sue for misrepresentation and mental stress, what a headache!
why don't you call your cell phone company and request the fees removed? you have 60 days from billing. this happened to me once. I didn't sign up for ANYTHING. I started getting weird texts on my phone one morning. I called the phone company to let them know. they asked me to text STOP back to the company. I had gotten 9 messages in less than a minute. I texted stop and the messages stopped coming. a couple of months later I opened my bill. now I normally pay my bill online without looking at the charges so I was bored and opened my bill to see that the month before I had been charged $14.99 for some online crap. I called the phone company and they told me it was past 60days. Luckily it was actually EXACTLY 60 days to the date. I told them this and they credited me immediately.
