Total Credit Recovery I requested to remove my phone number

I have repeatedly asked them to take my phone number off their list. They keep asking for a person who does not live at this phone number. They continue to call, place me on hold and refuse to take me off the list

I don't know who this company is. I'm not interested in buying anything. They keep asking for someone who is not at this number

My phone number is [protected]

Desired outcome: They need to remove my name off their list and never call my phone number again

Who are these people? When we take the call, the first thing they asked was my mother's date of birth and home address. Are they entitled to do? What do they want from us? They call us with the number [protected]. Is it a business phone no.?

Total Credit Recovery Old file

I recieved an email indicating that Total Credit Recovery had a file with my maiden name on it, accusing me of an outstanding debt. My bills are paid and I have not taken out any new loans or bought anything new. I called the number provided. The woman who answered asked for my verification to prove I was who I clamin to be. Then she revealed that they had been given a file for collections from Bell Mobility. I explained that, 1) I am married now and this file is not in my married name and, 2) I have not been with Bell for over 7 years, and 3) I paid my phone bill off before switching to another company. She asked for proof of payment. I told her that the file was old, I wouldn't be sending her anything and that I would not be paying anything. I asked her not to contact me again. She was very rude, accused me of not paying my bills (how I would get another phone, a home, internet or anything if I didn't pay bills, I do not know), and promised me that I will continue to get phone calls and emails until the account it settled. It is settled! Over 7 years ago! This company is shady.

It might have been a scam. They tried social phising when you tell them the information about you. Then next time they have more information about you to get you.

Total Credit Recovery Collections

Have been sending multiple letters, as well as multiple phone calls a day, some as early as 8am. All this for an account that I do not have. I have never dealt with TD bank, but somehow I have over $700 past due. When I did answer the call, the person on the other end was incredibly rude and did not want to be polite or listen to me when I do not have a legit account with them.

Total Credit Recovery collection agents are harassing me at my workplace too now!!!

The people who work there in the Toronto office are rude and do not care if they embarrass you at all. they have been leaving nuerous messages now at my work place and will not stop. I feel so humiliated and be littled by their actions. There are laws to protect people from this and am considering suing them for punitive damages.

Someone teach them how to have manners please and if their nicer tbey may get better commnuication.

Total Credit Recovery unethical behaviour

My name is Ronald Valverde. On August 10th, Someone called me from this collections agency saying that she was calling from the Ministry of Finance, trying to verify my personal information, once she verified, she said that was calling from Total Credit Recovery. I don't trust they anymore. I have an outstanding balance but I don't feel confident discussing this over the phone as they were caught lying me.
The date of the incident is August 10, 2017

I invested with IQ options binary brokers in September 16. I initially started with £250. I was allocated a broker called ” Daniel Sage” After few trading sessions, my balance increased to £700. I was then pressured into investing more, I ended up investing up to £52, 250.00. Of pension savings and grants from a few family
Within 2 months, my account balance grew to £97k. I refused to take their bonus and risk free trades to avoid withdrawals problems down the line. But, unfortunately, I was wrong. These scammers use pushy techniques in order for you to loose money. My nightmares began when I placed £30k withdrawals to take care of my deposit and a bit of profit. As I was chasing my withdrawals I began to receive all sort of excuses: sickness for as long as a week, delays in responding until I never heard from my broker. However, I recovered all my funds August 17. Do not fall for this scam. All scam victims can now recover lost funds, all you need is a proof to your claims

Total Credit Recovery harassment

I understand that this company buys call list for people with credit issues. With that being said calling people from blocked numbers at all hours of the night and day is frustrating. I normally do not answer blocked calls but after 5 within a 5 minute time span I was concerned it was the police. Well a lady started freaking out on me and I received 5 more calls from a blocked number. Either leave a message if it is important or just do not call from a blocked number.
I find this to be harassment not debt collecting.

Total Credit Recovery harassing calls multiple times a day

TCR has been calling my home multiple times a day, seven days a week as early as 6:30-7 am even on the weekends and as late as 11 pm 7 days a week. They are calling for someone who does not even live here. The party they have a collection file against is not me nor do they live with me. I have told them repeatedly that they have the wrong number, that the person they are looking for doesn't live at this number but the calls persist and if I don't answer they call up to 10 times a day filling up my voicemail. Today I again explained to them they are calling the wrong number and the response was "we don't care. Unless the person we are calling for calls us and updates their contact info the calls will continue" word for word. So it is apparantly my job to track down and update contact information for the person they want money from. They are rude and hung up on me when I told them I was calling bell Canada and the better business bureau and filing a harassment complaint. He said "go right ahead" and I asked him why they feel it's ok to harass someone whom has nothing to do with the debt they are trying to collect he said "because we can and the calls will not stop. " I continued to try to reason with him and he hung up on me. I need these calls to stop. I am disabled and suffer from a degenerative debilitating illness and have a heart and lung condition and the stress of this harassment is negatively affecting my health. These people don't care if they kill me and leave my 2 boys without a mother. They harass threaten and bully me knowing full well I'm not the correct person and the correct person is not at this phone number. They refuse to stop this harassment.

Total Credit Recovery rude, harassing calls, refusal to communicate clearly

I suddenly started receiving harassing calls from an anonymous looking Ontario phone number several times a day (during work hours when I can't really take the call anyway). When I finally answer, a machine tells me to hold while they connect me to an agent and its regarding "An important business matter." I wait a minute or two, no answer. So I hang up. An hour later the phone is ringing again, same story. Finally after ignoring about 15 calls over 3 days, and trying to answer 3 more, I get connected to a man i believe was named Alex.
He asks to speak with me by name, to which I ask who's calling. Immediately he becomes aggressive and rude and demands I identify myself. I point out he called me and I'd like to know who's been repeatedly robo-calling my personal cell phone for 3 days. He accuses me of not being able to answer a simple question like what is my name, yet refuses to tell me why he's calling, or what company he represents. He even tries to tell me that he's already told me that information. I repeatedly tell him to remove my informatin from whatever call list they're using, which is doesn't even acknowledge. He simply ignores the request and talks over top of me. After a minute of going in circles, he finally admits he's calling from Total Credit Recovery, and now he's even ruder than before. He again tries to get me to tell him my name, and address or date of birth to identify myself while citing that he needs to verify who I am before he can tell me anything. To which I reply that I don't give out personal information over the phone to companies that call me. This is just good practice, and he can't honestly be surprised that I'm not spitting out every detail about myself.
I ask over and over for even a slight hint at what the call could be regarding, but he refuses. He finally says if I won't identify myself then we can't speak, to which I respond that I am happy with that, and please don't call any more.

I have done work for the Total Credit Recovery offices in the past, so I recognize the nature of the call once he identified the company, the problem is I don't actually owe anyone money. There is nothing listed in my credit history as overdue, all of my credit cards are paid to zero, cell phone and cable bills are actually overpaid, I closed out my only bank loan 2 months ago, and my car insurance was paid in full in cash.

The calls continue. 5 or 6 times a day.

A few days goes by and I finally talk to another person. They do the same song and dance about needing me to identify myself and citing privacy laws saying they can't tell me anything until i do. But they do let slip that they're calling on behalf of Bell Mobility. So I hang up and call Bell Mobility. They only have one record of an account with someone having a similar name, that was closed AND PAID IN FULL a few months ago...

I suppose I will hear from them again tomorrow... If it wasn't so invasive I might actually have a bit of fun wasting these people's time. Shame a civilized conversation couldn't happen to get them off my case.

It might be a scam. People try to get money from you for no reason and they try to make up a reason. The more you tell them the more risks you are getting scammed.

Total Credit Recovery rude chickens.

Being harassed by these ###, so I went to the offices with a Debt Verification Request" and a "Cease and Desist"

The woman (lol) behind the counter ran out of her little cubicle like a scared deer at hunting season.

I suspect she thought she could avoid my paper work, she was sadly mistaken. I recorded the whole episode.

Now I can not wait to sue for harassment and defamation of character. I cant wait.

They would be well served to run down and search my name at the court house. I have made a good hobby bullying the bully.

Check mate.

Total Credit Recovery unprofessional behavior

I had been contacted by this company for a delinquent American Express bill. Things do happen. However, I had spoken with a Ross Mcnab on 3 seperate occasions and made payments. I then was contacted by Sharon Strickland-rude-right from the start. She told me Ross was fired because he was not doing his job and was letting customers off the hook. WRONG!
I know it is a tough job, however, be nice & professional. On 5/16/08 I was again contacted by her and made arrangements for a payment. She said it would not go through until 5/19/08 which was a Monday--no problem. I again told her to use the same checking account--money was there. She didn't call me until 5/23/08 to tell me that the acct info I gave her was no good. We confirmed routing numbers and account numbers. Today, 5/29/08 she calls me and said the account number is no good & now I have to pay by certified check. We again confirmed the numbers. She (I guess) tried to process it and it would not go through. She was very nasty at this point. I asked to speak with a supervisor--and was given to a " Marcony" (poor listening skills & rude), he told me I gave her an incorrect account # and wanted to know when to process the payment. I told him I wanted it processed 5/19. He did verify that she Sharon Strickland made the error in processing. I asked who was going to pay the interest for the last 10 days he said "you, of course" really. Very rude, they made the mistake, and I pay the interest. Wow. I will continue this, hopefully with a better result next time. I am contacting the BBB and anyone else I can.

Total Credit Recovery - scam and fraud!

I have never in my life experienced a more unprofessional conversation with a supposed supervisor. After telling Sophie Green at Total Credit Recovery USA Group in Buffalo, NY that I was unable to pay the full balance in question and that I would like to make payments, which I was told I could not do, she disgracefully and most unprofessionally...

Total Credit Recovery collection department

I was 3 months behind on a credit card and they decided to send it to collections. I paid the minimum due plus the late fees and found out by mail that they sent it to collections. I called the company and spoke with Shaun Grenning who was probably the rudest person in the world. I asked to speak with someone else and he asked why. Then he asked me why could I not pay off $500 in a year. Then told me this is the type of treatment I get when I don't pay my bills. Excuse me! Everybody's finances are not the same. He must forgot, he was trying to collect from me. I tried to work out a payment but he said $96 was the minimum.

Total Credit Recovery rude lady

I have been getting rude phone calls from a lady named SAMANTHA MARTIN. She leaves at least 2 rude messages. She will not tell me what she is calling about. She just yells in the phone. I refuse to talk to her. I did get a letter finally explaining why she was calling. I took care of the matter but she continues to call. I am ready to press charges against her for harrassment. She is so unprofessional and rude. People like her only need to work in a funeral home.

Please file a complaint with the FTC about her. I came online specifically to see what anyone had heard about Total Recovery Group, because they are very rude and was very surprised to see this letter AND that you have also been dealing with Samantha Martin.

I filed a complaint this very afternoon. Please please call the FTC (it took maybe 6-8 minutes of my time), they say the more complaints they receive the more likely they will have the government investigate the company and Ms. Martin.

Collection agencies are so rude.. I have not received ANYTHING in the mail from these people and I have explained that to them... and then they tell me they are going to hang up on me if I raise my voice to them.. they work in customer service and if they don't like their job then they shouldn't do it and need to not talk to people like that.. They won't quit calling my house and i have nothing to say to them so I hang up on them.. and it is someone different everytime they call and they are all rude! They need to get an attitude check and trying to get my credit card number from me.. I WILL NEVER give that information out! And they will NEVER get the $10 service frome me either.. They are just out of luck!

I recently sent a fax to the above named Susie Steiner, stating that I would not be able to have any debits made from my account between July 9 and September 1. Even though this was IN WRITING and Susie called me regarding the fax, she still went ahead and took $400 out of my very meager account. The Better Business Bureau will definitely hear from me. These people are ###.

I agree with you as well. Collection companies hire the rudest people. Don't feel upset. The people on the other end are just rude and they are real tough because they are on the phone. I'd like to get one of these people out on the streets to see how tough they really are.

Total Credit Recovery - dishonest, deceptive & rude behavior

I am handling some financial matters for a family that has had some very challenging financial hardships & health problems. I contacted TCR & asked they no longer call & harass the family members & that I would handle the negotiations from here on out. I asked & received the bottom line pay off for an old AMEX card TCR was collecting for. I told them...
