Subway Hair in FOOD

Good afternoon,

My daughter and I went to Subway in Lakeland, TN on 12-13-22. Store #22868-0. We ordered a 6' Spicy Italian and a footlong Turkey & Cheese & 2 bags of chips.

Once we got home (2 mins down the road) me & my daughter opened our sandwiches and my daughter who is 16. decided to buy dinner that night with her own money.

And my daughter noticed a hair on her sandwich!

So, the thing to do would be go back that evening a request a refund. However, it started storming so bad, so I decided to wait until the next day.

And that's what I did. Only for the 2 Subway workers to tell me that I could not receive my money back and they would be happy to make another sandwich. I did tell them I didn't want another sandwich. And the lady working was the same lady who helped me the night before. Never once said they were sorry. And kind of rude about the whole situation.

Desired outcome: I would like full refund of $17.08

Subway Employer / employee discrimination

an incident that occurred at the Subway on Walton Rd between Balwin and Joslyn Rd, in Pontiac Michigan On Friday 12/9/22 about 345pm a person entered subway and made eye contact with my daughter 16 years old, the person didn't respond when worker said Welcome to Subway, and went straight to the bathroom. Oakland County Sherriff arrived stating they received a call from someone that had been shot in the bathroom area. The workers - 2 female African American were told that the person's gun had jammed so at this point, they have no idea if this was a planned robbery, but a traumatic incident occurred. It was close to the end of other worker's work shift, and the owner's asked my daughter if she was ready to work, however, her dad was there and proceeded to say she was coming home. The owners immediately started serving customers once police and EMS left the site.

By 530pm the owners communicated in a private Subway Chat about cleaning details and etc (pretty much the least of what the 2 workers are worried about after a traumatic incident)

By 11pm my daughter received another private chat and asked if she wanted to continue working, my daughter tried to message the other worker and at this time she observed the other worker was removed from the chat, which meant, she's no longer an employee. My daughter was still shaken up at this time and answered and said she guess not. the owner immediately terminated her position and removed her from the chat and instructed her to bring in her uniform.

Desired outcome: protocols of chatting with employees in private chat after work hours- comes off very offensive corrective action plan after incident shouldn't be in a private chatMH check on employees after traumatic incident

Subway Manager

I personally have had interaction with him and he was completely out of line. Swearing at me in front of customers, belittling me in front of other employees. As I am quite new to subway, he put me working with only a minor who was newer than I was and neither of us knew how to do anything because we were never trained properly. There have been multiple complaints against him to the store manager and to the owner not only by employees but also by customers. Nothing is being done. Attached, I have a photo of a crumb on the floor. He tells me that he is going to write me up because of this.

Desired outcome: I would really appreciate if someone can reach out to me. My goal as of this point is to replace him.

Subway Poor Food

Hi

My wife and I had a very disappointing visit to Subway today. The meal deal we ordered was of very poor quality and quantity.

The bread appeared to be quite soggy on the bottom, the salad filling was minimal, and we usually opt for a coffee instead of a bottle drink, however today I was refused that, and had to pay an extra two pounds.

Sadly it may be quite a while before we visit Subway again.

Subway italian BMT

pilot location interstate95 exit 5 subway driving home north Italian BMT lettuce tomatoe spinach provlone cheese peppers cut in 3 hours later my mom says i do not bfeel good she starts throwing up 30 minutes later me the same check in our hotel threw up all night and the next day we should have been to our next destination but we had to get anothe hotel because we we so sick we had toast in the morning from our own home

Desired outcome: check out the location because other people got sick too and the place looked clean needless to say no subway for a long time and we have never had a problem before

Subway entire experience

I ordered online at 1:38 am to pick up at 12:00 noon, since I only have 30 mins for lunch. Get there 8 peoples in line, my online order is not ready because they cannot read the receipts coming into the store. I ask for refund since I don't have time to wait. One poor little girl in there working alone and doing all she can do says no problem and continues with her line, which i finally realize I'm going to have to get in to get my refund. Since I'm doing that, I may as well get my sandwich. 30 mins later I'm walking out. Get back to work and my 6" spicy Italian sub is LITERALLY the size of a hotdog. I gave the poor girl a 2.00 tip for having to deal with working alone. She said her manager was trying to hire some peoples, I said Well he should be in here helping you until he does. She is working herself to death trying to make everyone happy but most of all it is not SAFE to have a young girl working in a place of business alone in this day and time.

Subway Their website/app that offers deals

First, almost none of the restaurants in my large city of Milwaukee will honor their email offers.

Second, when you finally find one, the app doesn't send the order in, or they give your food away before you can get there.

Third, the app sends you a thank-you email for your order and charges your card, long after you're back home.

That's what they did to me, and I notified the store, left feedback on their survey for their manager, posted on their FB page, msg'd them thru FB, was told to make a complaint thru the company website, did that, NEVER heard anything back. They sure took my $10. and never gave me anything for it!

Never fall for their offers, especially the good ones like FLBOGO! (Footlong BOGO) What a ripoff!

Subway Use of coupons

Date is 11/10/22 @ 12pm

I am a diabetic and try to stay away from the bread so I usually get a wrap. I was not happy that they got rid of the spinach wraps but still continued to get the plain ones. I get coupons in the mail all the time for footlong deals but there is not one for the wraps which is the same price as a footlong. One place honored the footlong coupon in place of the wrap but when I went back and tried to use it the manager who was rude to me a second time (the first time was a few weeks before today) would not use the coupon in place of a footlong. So I walked out and left the wrap for her. I will not go back to a Subway again you have lost a customer and all the people I can tell not to go there.

Desired outcome: Coupons for wraps...but its to late there are local places that have wraps just as good.

Subway Customer service, food quality and app

First let me begin with stating I have worked in the hospitality business, for over 20 years and I understand how things happen and I typically do not believe in making complaints. However, I sent a complaint yesterday and it says that i do not have any complaints. I have had constantly had negative experiences wiith our local subway, which is unfortunate for my family, who would rather have Subway, than any other fast food option. It is also worth noting that we have 5 kids of our own, in addition to 2 more that we have 95% of the time. It is not uncommon for use to spend $70-$90, at least once a week. However, i am currently refusing to order anything from Subway. I will start with the app, which only works a fraction of the time and I usually end up wasting more time than i have trying to take advantage of promotions only offered on the app, considering the location will not honor if the app is down, even if they are aware of the issue. This is what led to my most recent problem, considering I should have received a bogo deal, on the morning of a field trip for my youngest son. I processed the payment in full because the app will not complete the order, without, doing so. I asked if they could do something and the morning manager said she had not processed the online order so it wasnt her mistake, in which i responded, subway does not pay me to be a manager, therefore, i cannot comp my own order. She continued to mutter and laugh as I left and I was counting on the money to have enough gas for the field trip, over an hour away, in which the return home, I sat at a gas station, trying to have someone send money. This followed repeated times of placing online orders that were not made when I arrived, causiing me to be late on multiple occasions. One that was made without being toasted when i arrived because it had not been made and they were closing early. Rude customer service, on a regiular basis.

Desired outcome: I would like to be compensated for at least one meal, for my family through credits or refund.

Subway Customer service and product granite falls nc, hickory blvd, location.

I am going to begin with the fact, I have worked in customer service, specfically, the food and beverage sector, and I am not someone who reaches out for complaints, however, this location, has repeatedly disappointed me and this last time, I was beyond offended and if it is up to me I would never step foot into another subway, which is really unfortunate for my family, who chooses subway over any fast food. I have five kids, in addition to 2 others that live with us 95% of the time, literally. Each of them have friends over often and we used to eat Subway at least once a week, often spending $80 -$90 with specials. Past experiences include, constant issues with the app and ordering, (often not available or kicks me out). Employees overlooking orders placed through the app on a regular basis, often causing timing problems for ballgames, practice, etc. If our order was prepared, it was rare to receive our entire order, much less every sandwich correctly made. If I were not able to process the online order, I have been met unpleasant attitudes, often causing me to hesitate attempting order inside the store if the app did not work. However, this last time, broke the camels back. My husband and I processed an early order for lunch to take with us on a field trip, with our youngest son. As usual, things could not go as planned, even for 3 subs. I had intended to receive the buy 2, get one free promo, only offered online, however, it did not work. Desperate, to get the order and to the field trip location, over an hour away, I paid with my card, so the order would be made. Considering, the order would not submit, without a card payment, i assumed the locatioon would honor the online promo. Although, I have no idea why, considering they have yet to make attempt to correct previous experiences and they do not accept any of the email or text promotions, from subway. When I expresseed my frustration, the manager on duty that morning, stated "why would we fix it, I did not place your order online". I said nope you did not and unless you are illiterate, then I can assume that the order is made correctly, considering I processed and verified the order, which had been submitted correctly. however, considering I am not hired as a subway employee, I am unable to comp food, before submitting it and walked out the door where she continued to make statements about my competence. It was absolutely ridiculous, and one of the most disappointing customer service experiences, I have had.

Subway email offers

None of my LOCAL stores honor any of your special deals. I'm going to McD's!

Not happy. I used to love subway.

You keep sending me deals that I can't have.

I'm not in a small town, I'm in Milwaukee, WI !

This has been going on for several months now, and I can't find anyone to honor them. Also, just because the guy just bought my favorite subway, why can he charge $2. more for the same items at another couple stores? I won't be going back there anymore at all.

Desired outcome: subway should honor the email deals offered, or stop sending them!!!

Subway not accepting coupons sent out by Subway

On Oct.8,2022 at 5pm I went to Subway on Main Street,Bunn,NC . There was a note on the bread that said they were not accepting coupons because the ice machine was not working. The ice machine has been out of order for 2 weeks and it has been out of order several times. I do not why they are not honoring the coupons the ice machine not working has nothing to with the customers.

Subway subway restaurant did not ACCEPT my coupons

on 10/8/2022 we visited a subway located @ 20695 Biscayne Blvd , Aventura Florida 33180 ,Subway #2052-0 and I have been their many times and coupons have been honored .Today they refused to honor my coupons , The lady employee stated to me that I was a liar that she never seen me before ,I was insulted being called a liar . their are no signs posted other wise .

I want someone to look into this matter and contact me @ [protected].

Please confirm that they no longer make the sandwich BLT and that the price is now 13.00 dollars .

Please help me ,I was so embarrassed because I was with my wife and her sister who is sickly and blind .

Subway gift cards

During the summer I stopped at a Loves travel center that had a Subway inside. I placed my order and tried to pay with a $50 gift card. The staff at the store couldn't get the transaction to work, so I wound up paying with a credit card.

When I checked later, the balance of the card was $21, the difference between the original $50 and the cost of the food (approx $29). I submitted a complaint on the Subway site, nothing.

Desired outcome: I would like the $29 refunded.

Subway Not Honoring Coupon

Had a valid (exp. 11/5/22) coupon "Get THREE FOOTLONGS for $17.99". Showed it to employee BEFORE ordering. She took our order, made the sandwiches then refused to honor the coupon. The sandwiches SHOULD have cost us $18. She charged us $35...!

Subway Offer confirmed by employee but not honored

On the above-noted date at 7:36pm I entered this Subway store. I spoke with a gentleman behind the counter who was preparing someone's sandwich and asked if the buy 1 foot long and get a second foot long for 50% off was good to use IN THE STORE or did I have to order on line or with the app. He replied that the offer was good in the store. So, I waited in line to order.

I ordered one footlong B.M. T. for $9.59 and one RChick & Bacon for $10.79, plus tax of $0.84 for a total of $21.22. I told the woman who started to ring me up that I'd like the "BOGO50" offer. She stated that that offer was only good on-line or with the app. I told her that when I came in I specifically asked the gentleman if the "BOGO50" offer was good to use in the restaurant and that he said yes. She said that he didn't speak or understand English very good and that he was wrong.

If I had known that the offer was not good for a walk-in, I would have taken a few minutes to order via the app!

What I should have done is just walked out! However, at 76 years of age and not being a hothead in the moment, I asked if she could give me any discount. She said that she'd give me a dollar off. HOWEVER, my receipt does not show $1 off. I paid with my Apple card, asked what the gentleman's name was and she stated Brian (doubtful since he does not understand or speak English very well according to her) and her name; which she mumbled. I asked what her name was several times and still could not understand her. I left!

I am extremely unsatisfied with the treatment I received at this Subway. What can you do to rectify this matter?

Subway Coupons

Your coupons are misleading. I have always been able to hand a coupon after getting my sandwiches made but today the girl told me that they were not applicable to sandwiches 1-12. Not much else left to order from. So now we have a handfull of useless coupons. I will have a hard time entering a subway again after having the coupons rejected. The coupons are hard to read the fine print. I won't go in again.

I called to tell them I was having problems with the website and she gave me all of these instructions how to fix it and I asked her if she could just take my order and I would come pick it up and in return she got extremely rude but probably because I had to call three times before she picked up the phone and I told her I wanted to talk to a manager and she told me she was the manager

Subway Sweet onion teriyaki

On Friday, September 23, 2022, at around 21:40 I went to the Subway restaurant.

I ordered my sandwich and they only have whole wheat bread. Ok whatever, it won't kill me.

Ask for my sandwich to be toasted and added lettuce, tomato, pickles, and hot peppers.

The sauce was supposed to be a sweet onion.

I take the blame for not watching the employee apply the sauce as I was trying to decide if I wanted a combo or not.

I did, so I got a fountain drink, Dr.Pepper (which was watered down), and the Harvest Cheddar SunChips.

I then went back to work (Toronto Western Hospital) and found that my sandwich had white sauce on it. I know that any white sauce would have egg, and as I am allergic to eggs I came back.

When I came, the door was locked but after yelling what my issue was, the door was opened a crack. The young lady who served me told me she gave me what I ordered, I told her no, the sauce was wrong and she told me no she gave me sweet onion sauce.

After going back and forth with her several times she was adamant I was wrong. So I asked her what colour is the sweet onion sauce. She said greyish-brown. I opened up the sandwich and showed her it was white.

She then said, "Ok, I messed up the sauce, just eat it."

I explained about my allergy and it stumped the two employees as to a solution.

I suggested a new sandwich, I was told they were closed. I suggested a refund. The gentleman said he couldn't I needed to come back when the manager was there.

He took my name and number and said he would leave it for the manager when I came in.

I came back around 19:17 this evening (Saturday, September 24,2022) and after explaining my issue briefly, was told there is no manager on duty until 9 am Sunday.

I am not working tomorrow and I do not live close by.

I paid $18.95 for a sandwich, chips and

drink but ended up having to eat McDonalds instead.

I am beyond frustrated.

Desired outcome: Better training, a refund, or even a new sandwich.
