The worst customer service. Unbelievable. Zero follow through, rude, 6 months and the issue is not resolved. They don't listen, get the problem wrong , and so.e how it's the customers fault.

I am done with this company. First chance I get I'm switching companies. At first it was a great company, it's gone down hill fast. They've lost my business and I will tell everyone I know to stay away from this company. Worst

Desired outcome: Able to use my newiphone and have my hor spot back on. I pay gor it every month but can't use it because they can't turn it back on. BS

Straight Talk Wireless ESIM number transfer

For a week now, I have been in the process of a ESIM transfer. I am specifically wanting to keep my number and switch service providers. However, every time I have called the customer service has been absolutely TERRIBLE AND HELPLESS. I have to constantly repeat myself to several agents regarding my situation — all which seems as if they do not know what they’re doing. Apparently the ESCALATION department is a group of ppl NOT doing their job because they haven’t responded in hopes of figuring out my problem and expediting this lengthy process. I honestly do not recommend you all doing a ESIM number transfer. I am literally going through hell right now talking to agents who can’t provide me much information regarding the status of my ESIM port. I Straight Talk has to do better with customer service because I do NOT feel valued. I call & chat with someone every single day and they keep telling me to call the next day. There are times when I reach out Via Straight talk Chat and I am constantly ignored by the live agents. I guess you can expect having an ESIM number transfer to take what seems like FOREVER to process. Terrible customer service award goes to Straight Talk and the representatives who don’t know what they’re doing.

Straight Talk Wireless Straight talk customer service

My phone lost service and when I contacted customer service four times in a row:

someone hung up on me,

said they would transfer me and then hung up,

said they would call me back and didn't,

couldn't speak comprehendible English

and never helped me!

It is the worst possible service. It has been this way since for two years!

Unacceptable.

Desired outcome: Fire your employees, hire someone who can actually help customers.

Straight Talk Wireless Their customer service. Acp

I spent 15 DAYS!DAYS!yes 15DAYS. Trying to simply get my ACP Discount on a $65 plan for $30. Within those 15DAYS I was told to wait 24-48 hours about 6 times, it never worked! I even was made to fill out a new app with acp, almost twice! But I said no. This was the first of about 4 times of being hung up on. I was talked into buying a $10 dollar plan to tide me over during another 24-48hour wait for nothing. That plan ended and was worthless. My service was shut off 4 times.

I was put on the $35 ACP to wait ANOTHER 24-48 hour when I called to upgrade to my discounts $65 plan, I was told that the$35 plan is all I could use now. I'm apartment hunting and have missed out on a couple apartments because of no service!

Recap: ALL THIS IN 15 DAYS

JUST TO GET MY DISCOUNTS ACP PRICE. NOT TO MENTION ABOUT 30 ON THE PHONE DOING THE SAME SAME SAME SAME SAME SAME procedures!

I ended up just buying the $65 plan at full price. Now straight talk is sending me ads to upgrade and buy a new phone. No reconition what's so ever of my ACP APPROVED ACCOUNT. I'VE BEEN USING THE ACP PROGRAM WITH STRAIGHT TALK FOR ABOUT 5 MONTHS NOW. But EVERY month has been a fight. I would go to another company in a heart beat but UN-ANOWNS to me I have to pay $150 for them to unlock my phone

And use another company.

Well, I paid full price so I thought I could go into my account and straighten things out. NOT!

Account not accepting my freshly placed and memorized password. Spent almost 3hr on the phone to just have access to my account. I cant take it anymore! Their [censored]ty customer service wins!

Sounds like a badly written movie but is all true. I know nothing will come of this. Don't even know why I bothered with this complaint.

Straight Talk Wireless Customer services

BEWARE, I had there phone 2 weeks and it fell out of my poxket And it stopped working. I called and received a shipping label through my email. I proceeded to library and email would not allow me to download. I called again and was told to take to UPS and label would work threw UPS. I drive 35 miles to nearest UPS and they only open Monday threw Friday from 3 pm to 6 pm. Those hours I work so was a waist of time and gas. Call UPS to get different addresses that I could use was 38 miles north but they said they can definitely help me. So schedule on my day off and went to get the phone shipped back to straight talk. On June 9th they received my phone at straighttalk warehouse. Today is June 18 and I called and rep said ticket number has not been put into computer. Last rep I spoke to told me to expect my replacement phone no later than June 16. Guess what — it's the 18th and lady says ticket not even been processed. Honestly will not recommend this phone company to anyone. I need a phone for my job but will advise everyone this isn't a got company just because its cheap doesn't always mean your going to get a good deal. Best advice "DONT BUY STRAIGHT TALK PHONES".

Desired outcome: I would love to be told the truth and actually recieve my replacement phone on dates I am being told I will receive it.

Straight Talk Wireless Shipment

I accidently ordered 3 phones but only needed 2. I immediately called straight talk back to inform them and ask can they please cancel order #[protected], they rep told me no, all i had to do was send it back. Well, when i went to send it back, UPS informed me I had to pay for shipping.

However, the rep from Straight Talk assured me I did not have to pay for shipping item back.

I called straight talk several times and no resolution. This is considered unethical.. I need someone to please respond via phone call or email

Straight Talk Wireless iPhone 11, service plan, next-day delivery order

I was billed immediately for a recent purchase of iPhone 11, service plan, and next-day delivery; however, it's been three weeks since they billed me, and I have NOT received the phone, service, or next-day delivery.

I have called and spoken with so many Straight Talk representatives, been told it was a pre-order, which is not true, and asked for a refund, which has not been forthcoming.

I am beside myself as to what to do, since I do need a new phone, but Straight Talk has taken my money and has not sent me any of my order.

When I get upset with them, they just hang up on me!

Desired outcome: I would like my money back; after this experience, I have no confidence in Straight Talk at all.

Straight Talk Wireless Unauthorized monthly charge after changing plans

On April 19 I changed from the $45 plan to $35 plan. At that time, they charged me for May at the $35 rate. (I had already paid for April.) The next payment would be due June 9. On May 7 I received a text saying: Straight Talk: Hi there! ANB Auto-Refill for your $35 plan will be processed on 06-09-2023. Today, June 9, I received a message saying they had processed my payment and where I could see details. When I checked on the details it said: plan amount: $35, taxes: 2.10, discounts: $1.00 total: $46.10. Anyone who can add knows that the total is $36.10.

I called and talked to a representative who told me I hadn't changed my auto refill and after the month I changed it for, it reverted to the original plan. I couldn't speak to a supervisor or manager because she had the ability to act as supervisor/manger. They don't give refunds for $5 or $10 over the phone, that the only refund would be a complete refund and my service would be cut off at that time. I told her to leave my phone service alone. I was not rude or out of line in any way. She had a condescending tone of voice that was borderline rude.

(Summary of 10-minute conversation.) This was horrible customer service!

Desired outcome: Please refund my $10 and apology for insinuating I was stupid.

Straight Talk Wireless Unlocking my phone

I have been a customer over two years and got a new phone for Mother's day 2023. Had Straight talk for a month on the new phone then decided to change providers and let me tell you: called over seven times, left on hold for over thirty minutes, "transferred" three times (hung up on), told Android was the problem, told my phone wasn't even locked even though Xfinity said it was, and transferred to other departments that tell me that I'm at the wrong department.

Two options: keep them OR buy a new phone.

I will be buying a new phone because I won't spend a dime on a company that devalues me after I've been a loyal customer. I'm vegetarian so don't think for a second I won't stand by my principles!

Yes every time I call your customer service for help I have to talk to at least 10 to 15 different people and they all tell me something different now this is all in one day that this crap happens. They have to ask you every single time they transfer you they send you a text message to make sure that they confirmed your phone number. That's one problem. They have lied and told me so many different stories that I don't know what the hell is going on! There is got to be a better way to take care of this I'm trying to get a freaking refund for $30 that the damn ACP program covers on my $45 plan that's all I want is my 30 damn dollars! I've been with straight talk for a very long time and I just think this is ridiculous you need to do something about it!

Strait Talk Customer is the worst service I have ever encounter. They have severe processing skills. They do not understand ENGLISH. they are not competent to solve issues let alone understand your request. no knowledge of the system or basic information. I will not be with Strait Talk very long. I am currently searching for a company with KNOWLEDGEABLE customer service that can do their job. Like good communication and processing skills. Regretfully, Ernest L

Straight Talk Wireless Your entire acp program

Don't do the ACP program. WOW!

In the last 15 days or so, I've:

1. Spent unimaginable hours on the phone with your c.s. Look at my records, at phone calls. Why I did I don't know. Crazy.

2. Had to buy a $10 plan.

3.RE-APPLY For the ACP program. Almost twice.

THERE WAS A LOT MORE TO THIS MEESAGE. Some how got deleted.

Straight Talk Wireless Sim activation kit

I am writing to address a highly frustrating and unsatisfactory experience I have encountered with the SIM activation kit purchased from Walmart by your company. After just four days, it became evident that the kit was unable to activate on my unlocked Samsung Galaxy S9 phone, despite compatibility demonstrated by the displaying of a strong signal with 4 bars and 4G LTE.

To resolve this issue, I invested significant time and effort into numerous phone calls with your customer support team. I patiently followed their instructions, including resetting the phone, attempting to lock it to the Verizon network, troubleshooting, and enduring multiple disconnections during our conversations. Despite these extensive efforts, the SIM activation kit and phone remain non-functional.

What compounds my disappointment is the fact that your company has refused to provide a refund for this faulty product. Furthermore, I have experienced an unacceptable level of service from your refund department, as they have consistently hung up on me when I attempt to discuss this matter.

I want to emphasize that withholding a refund in such circumstances is not only highly unethical but also illegal. Your company sold me a product that fails to function as advertised, and it is my right as a consumer to receive a full refund for this purchase.

I must express my extreme disappointment in this situation, especially considering my long-standing loyalty to Verizon as a customer for several decades. However, as Straight Talk operates on the Verizon network, I regretfully inform you that I will no longer be utilizing Verizon services as well moving forward.

I hereby demand an immediate refund for the SIM activation kit and request that this matter be resolved promptly and amicably. Failure to comply with this request will leave me with no choice but to escalate this issue through legal channels to ensure my consumer rights are protected.

I trust that you will take immediate action to address this matter and provide a swift resolution. I anticipate your prompt response and the initiation of the refund process.

Straight Talk Wireless Purchase locked iPhone that doesn't work

I have been in contact with straight talk and apple about an iphone 13 that I purchased through straight talk but the phone does not work like it should. The issue is that I spend on the phone to read everything to me, but straight talk does not support that the full ability of that feature so the phone is useless to me. Straight talk keeps trying to tell me that I have to get apple to fix it but apple says the phone is working fine but straight talk doesn't support that feature. Straight talk refuses to pay for shipping this useless phone back to them. I have called back five times to resolve the issues and have been sent an email that supposedly contains a FREE shipping label but no label was attached. The UPS Store tells me the label only contains an address and I would have to pay to have the phone shipped back to them.

Desired outcome: I want a free shipping label and the $35 plus tax I have already paid them to be refunded.

Straight Talk Wireless customer service

I called to report a suspicious text I received. I have had identity theft issues in the past due to straight talk simply allowing a criminal hijack my phone number and steal thousand of dollars worth of alternative currency. I called from [protected] and the person I spoke to sais her name was Quyny. Setting the language barrier aside, I explained to Quynyn that I had received a suspicious text. Quynyn told me to reply to the suspicious text so I explaind to her that I would not do that and requested to speak to a different agent. Quyny told me no so I requested to speak with a manager or superviser. Quynyn told me there are no supervisers or managers and that she was the only person taking all the call from the entire world. I then asked who I would need to speak with to fille a complaint regarding the lies she told and received no answer but was put on hold for over a half hour. I am still on hold at this very moment and awaiting a responce to my question. This is unacceptable.

Desired outcome: I am requesting a formal explanation for the events aforementioned in the complaint.

Straight Talk Wireless Cell phone service

My cell was dropped in a lake and could not be recovered. I went to Wal-Mart to buy a new phone on Straight Talk plan and to have my old number assigned. Then my problems began. In order to do this, service rep said they needed to verify two numbers I called in the last sixty days. I am a senior citizen and had the phone for use in emergencies or for a number that my family could use to contact me if I am out. I don't know for sure that I made outgoing calls. Because the numbers I might have called didn't work in their verification process they said they couldn't transfer my number to a new phone. My main problem is this number is the one that my friends and family have, but also over the last few years it is the one that is used in various security verification processes by my bank and other companies. It will cause me and my family a great deal of time to try and change this number. I tried to talk to a supervisor or manager, but they said that This "corporate protolcol" in their system was the only way they would be able to transfer my number. I have spoken to a number of reps there and they all end up with the same verification problem.

I tried to get someone to check my account since my bank has been auto-paying them for the last three years. They were unable to do anything except the verification "protocol".

All of my attempts to phone or e-mail an in-country customer service at Straight Talk have either failed or put me in contact with the same people and corporate protocols that previously failed for me.

Wal-Mart told me that this the same problem that some other customers have had with Straight Talk and none have been successful.

It is hard for me to believe that this contact loop and system protocol are so tight that there is no longer any concern to resolve an issue with a customer who was trying to buy a phone and continue working with the same service they have had for three years.

Desired outcome: I would like to have someone with the authority and capability to transfer my number contact me. There are any number of contacts I have made with their customer service.

I have an outline of contacts with Straight Talk. All of which ended with no resolution. I tried to send a full outline to an email address for Straight Talk and Tracfone. Straight Talk's were undeliverable and Tracfone's appear to have been delivered but received no response. I would like to have a working email address for Straight Talk. I have been frustrated while dealing with off-shore reps, who have been very polite, but unable to resolve my issue due to "corporate" or system protocols. I have called numbers for help, I have used on-line chats. All have put me in contact with what seem to be parts of the same groups.

Straight Talk Wireless email issues, deactivate phone while on the phone with support, not receiving call back

I was first with online support, (person1 roughly 4:45) who was unable to help me. We both agreed that over the phone was the next approach after roughly 15 mins of them trying. Waiting for the call 15 mins received at 5:15 (2nd person). During this 5min 5 sec phone call they had deactivated my phone while on the phone with them. It had said not registered to and account and to activate it only emergency calls now you can see this is where I get extremely mad. (everything up to this point my only issue was not receiving any emails so I can reset my password. I had recently purchased a new phone and got those emails but nothing new to reset.) person 3 online basically just referred me to a call back in 15 mins since I had go next door to get a usable number for them to return my call. Since the phone I was messaging them on was the deactivated one and was only working with wifi. While waiting for their call and disturbing my neighbor, I had restarted my phone and a few mins later it started working. Now after my phone was activated again at 540 I received an email with a code. Not sure why I got it at that time since it wasnt the correct email with my account. After waiting 20 mins and never receiving a call back I called support once again. Person 4 on the phone 5:54, 18 mins 37 sec still could not help me. She had read the notes on my account said she tried to email again I never got them she said she had to get approval for a ticket number. Most of that call I was waiting or on hold. She was short. And when I got off the phone with her she said wait up to 24 to 48 hrs to try to log in and I know or im sure were gonna hear from you again in a rude way. Both times when I was on the phone they were rude and did not solve my problem and blew me off. I have been using straight for a decade so this shouldn't even be an issue and have had this number for 5 plus years. Thank you for your time sincerely courtney

My issuse still has not been resolved. I have called support and messaged still nothing. Got told upper management has to do it days ago. I have a payment coming up on the 11 and i cant update my card use points or earn any either. This is literally making me want to switch carriers. Ive been a client for 13 ish years

Straight Talk Wireless Customer service

I have been trying to set up services with Straight Talk and the ACP program for a solid month now with little to no help from Straight Talk. They give me the run around and are very rude. May 10 is when I finally got some service set up but instead of the ACP program I was set up with some plan that has 2g of data. I have since called Verizon to get services through them and today I have had nothing but trouble with straight talk and their rude customer service reps. NO ONE will help me and I have had enough. I am in the process of porting my number over to verizon and have ran into an issue. So I just called Straight Talk to explain to them what was going on and asked if I could have a status update on my number porting process. I was told they could not help me and to call verizon. I cannot stand StraightTalk. Those that work for Straight Talk will even argue and cuss customers! I know from experience.

Desired outcome: I just want phone service. I want my number ported over to Verizon so I can say goodbye to Straight Talk completely

Straight Talk Wireless Cell phone

on April 19 my phone quit charging I contacted straight talk to return under warranty. I still have no phone. They received it April 25 9 22 am signed by Tillero. They said they would send me a new phone but they sent a shipping label to send back a phone they already have. 9 days ago they said my phone was ready to ship awaiting pickup by ups. I asked for a tracking number they said there is none until they pick up I knew that was a lie. still nothing is shipped. impossible to get a human on phone if i do they hang up. I have always been polite so its not me. No way to email them, no way to contact corporate, they have my charger cord and phone all that i purchased. i puchased a 5 g phone yet never had 5 g. They say there is no number associated with an account yet my number is valad, its what people called me on try it [protected]. They have over charged me, stolen $30 cards in reserve I need help!

Desired outcome: since they stole my phone they owe me $195 plus charger and cord $15, a 32 phone card $48 they over charged me when i was on acp, plus 17 for not being to use last 30 days , 48.5 x 8 for no 5 g,

Straight Talk Wireless Deactivated Account

The company charged me after I disabled the account. Then they refused the refund. They still havent released my imei number four days after I ended the service and this is a carrier unlocked phone I bought from samsung. I have to file a claim through my bank to get a refund, which is completely unnecessary. Their service was very restricted and has little to no coverage.

If you "understand where he's coming from" then it's abundantly clear this problem happens often...so FIX IT!
