I was not allowed to carry gel- cream in my hand luggage. It weighed 300 grams. However, it was a PRESCRIBED medication. I was ready to show prescription for the same.

The security check at the airport denied me permission. They refused to check my prescription also. I was forced to remove the gel. The security personnel asked me to put the cream in the check-in luggage.I did not have any check-in baggage. I need compensation

My wife going to travelling in dubai in indigo flight no 6E-1477 name “Mansi joshi” they treated her very badly and also they behaved so rude. Is this the way you guys treat your passenger tell me? How you guyz could behave so rude and unmannered they tortured her mentally I never expect this behaviour from reputed airlines also they were not allowed her luggage bags they tortured very badly. They removed her talcum also how could they do this with anyone. I'm very disappointed with this airline. I will take legal action against them .

Custom officer unneccessary harassing ladies with legal wearing gold jewelry at airport. My wife travelled alone from Abu Dhabi to Ahmedabad via INDIGO dated on 28.08.2023 with her wedding Gold jewelry below 40 Gram however, custom guys started questioning and answering with her and hold her approx 1 hours with no reason. My wife submitted legal gold purchased invoice and wedding photo for the same to prove it that its legal and without any base these guys are like torturing. Very disappointed the way they treating ladies, someone should educate them and set boundary for these custom guys.

Traveling to Chennai from Indigo flight 6E 6796 from Ahmedabad on 1st June 2023 with 2 kids, PNR CMCBNV,

At the Security the only 2 counters were on, with less number of staffs.

When after standing in line, the duty lady told to send my 11 years old son to gents counter he wont be screened there.

May i know how this is possible at such a big airport and with so much chaos i send my son to the Security check alone.

I have travelled around India many a times, i have never seen such a behavior. The lady said to read rules and come next time. The officer in front of the screen said, " last time bhi aapke sath aisa hua tha."

May i get a concrete answer to this.

And if there is a rule like this till date why it was not followed?

I am writing to bring to your attention a highly disappointing and frustrating incident that occurred during my recent travel experience at Ahmedabad Airport, On 11th May . I, along with my 72-year-old mother and wife, had booked a flight to Sydney. However, due to early closure of the check-in counter, we were denied the opportunity to check in for our flight, as they have closed the counter early then normal closure time ,resulting in significant inconvenience and financial hardship.

The incident unfolded as follows: On 11 th May l along with my 72 year old mother and wife, had booked a flight to Sydney from Ahmedabad via Singapore to Sydney.

upon arriving at Ahmedabad Airport well within the recommended time frame for international flight SQ505 we were shocked to discover that the check-in counter for our Singapore flight was inexplicably closed. Despite our repeated requests for assistance, the airport staff showed no willingness to accommodate us or provide any viable solutions..

As a direct consequence of this incident, we were unable to catch our connecting flight from Singapore to Sydney. This further compounded our ordeal, as we had important commitments awaiting us in Sydney. As a practicing dentist, I had scheduled an important patient appointment on Saturday, [13/05/2023], which I had to cancel due to the disruption caused by the airport's management failure.

The financial ramifications resulting from this incident have been considerable. We were compelled to purchase new tickets at exorbitant prices to reach Sydney, in addition to incurring extra accommodation costs for an unplanned overnight stay in Singapore. Furthermore, the loss of income due to cancelling the scheduled patient appointment has had a direct impact on my professional reputation and financial stability.

I would like to emphasize that all the evidence to substantiate our claims is available in the CCTV camera footage of the airport. I kindly request that you preserve and secure the relevant CCTV footage as evidence, which will support our case and provide an accurate account of the incident.

Not only did this incident cause immense inconvenience and anxiety for my family, but it also disrupted our carefully planned itinerary. The implications of this ordeal were particularly distressing for my elderly mother, who faced unnecessary physical and emotional strain throughout the extended wait and subsequent rush to arrange alternative travel arrangements.

I firmly believe that such negligent and unprofessional conduct by the airport authority is entirely unacceptable. As passengers, we have the right to expect a certain standard of service and accountability, especially when such unforeseen circumstances arise.

Therefore, I kindly request the following actions to be taken as a resolution to this matter:

1. A thorough investigation into the circumstances leading to the closure of the check-in counter on [11/05/2023)

2. Adequate compensation for the additional costs incurred, including the price difference in the new flight tickets, hotel expenses, and any other related expenses.

3. Assurance that measures will be implemented to prevent similar incidents in the future, safeguarding the rights and convenience of passengers.

4. An apology for the distress, inconvenience, and financial strain caused by the airport's failure to provide appropriate assistance and support.

I have attached copies of the receipts for the additional flight booking and hotel reservation, as well as any other relevant documents that support my claim.

I trust that you will treat this matter with the utmost urgency and seriousness it deserves, understanding the impact it has had on my family. I eagerly anticipate a prompt response addressing the concerns raised in this complaint.

Should I not receive a satisfactory resolution or fail to hear from you within a reasonable period, I reserve the right to pursue further action through appropriate consumer forums or legal channels.

My fiancée came from Iran to meet me and my family. I am a British citizen and we decided to meet in Ahmedabad.

Upon arrival 11 men from immigration authorities circled round my fiancée and started intimating her. It was the most disgusted behaviour by disgusting men of old age and one of them was WEARING A TURBAN WHO came very close and near to my wife. These despicable men from the despicable background are MISOGYNISTIC [censored].

These things are happening at Ahmedabad International Airport and please do not send your mothers and daughters alone as these men they harass your daughters and mothers.

India’s Modi is touching new heights but the people of my India are disgusting, moraless, misogynists [censored].

People working at this airport are ridiculous and have no manners. They do not want to understand when someone explains something as they want money so they can enjoy their night! If a person comes in with wearing a gold chain and bracelet, they don’t need to make us pay customes at the airport. Gold will be gold and they cannot question that if the gold is new or what, if the gold is used very less, the gold will look like we just bought it! They get pissed when someone tells them that they need the money for this. Their ego hurts when they are caught. I would like the authority to take strict actions against them as this is very unfair to a person not coming with wearing a gold. If there is more then 1 chain it is understandable that they should charge but a normal person cannot wear a gold without indian’s permission. This is being RACIST. Please take a very strict against them and I need to get the money back for the gold that can come in legally to wear it and take it back! Totally uneducated people and rude staff.

I would like to share my experience so that no one has to go through what we went through today.

We came imto the country seeking medical attention but were treated like drug smugflers.

I am from Africa, Not nigeria but blantly my passport was checked by over 6 people,my luggauge had to be checked and get this..they had a drug sniffing dog next but still had to hummiliate me call the hospital and even ask for my.marriage certificate...as if i was coming here to stay.

You need to train your staff on how to handle people better.In this day and age where an issue of race can ruin your reputation.

I will always give a bad review and share my story with other africans so that you domt get to treat people badly again.

While coming out of the parking the officers gives the receipt but that receipt are of different vehicles. He does this deliberately so I feel he is showing that one vehicle is passing number of times within the limit to 10 mins so less money goes to company and more money goes to his pocket.

I am an international traveller and I have noticed this in Ahmedabad International Airport.

The incident is of 05-05-2022, around 9.45 am I went to drop my relative at domestic airport. While returning after dropping, I received one message which require me to immediate make a call. As we should not dial while driving, I sided my car for a halt before main road to dial that urgent call. In the very moment, private traffic boy came and ask me to pay the penalty for stopping the car. They were also convinced that I halted for making call as the call was on. But they told that it is captured in camera so I have to pay the penalty. They advised me that I should halt on main road in the future. I am shocked and surprised the immorale cost I have paid for obeying traffic rule of not using mobile while driving. Secondly they are charging penalty as parking charge which is also reflected their wrong mindset.

Sir, We came to drop my handicap Sister who was flying to Bangalore and then to abroad on 31-03-2022 around 18.45.we were in hurry as man with wheel chair was waiting for us. In hurry by mistake we parked our Duster car no GJ-01-RA-2650 in premium park area, When we returned our Vehicle wheel was locked by Airport Authority and they asked to pay fine of Rs 1000/-.We gave our HDFC bank credit card to deduct money. They swab the card and after some time they returned saying that they could not realized money from the card.We also did not got message from the bank on our registered mobile(They might have managed by some trick) so, we paid them in cash. Now we have received statement of the credit card from the bank and we are surprised to see that they have deducted money from the card also at 19:38:49 on name of 'shree padmavati online'.Sir, Just for a small mistake they have charged Rs 2000/- from us for a duration less than an hour. Sir, kindly arrange to refund all our money back to my credit card from where they have wrongly deducted.

I landed at Ahmedabad airport on 11-4-22 @ 21:00 hrs. Ans to my surprise I didn't find any porter in the Arrival area. When asked at the Info desk, was inform that they have any porter at arrival.

At Coimbatore airport, porter are readily available, on arrivals. Though that airport is much smaller with less passengers as compared to Ahmedabad.

Do u think that only, people on Departure side needs porter?

Toilets are in very bad state and basic signs are missing at the airport. There should be clear sign boards at the airport. Maintenance has improved but not toilets. Needs very urgent attention.

This is dated 25th March at 6.14am. I am travelling to.Mumbai via flight No.G8 459 PNR Q2BCGB.

Ahmedabad domestic airport entry gate is congested and security team memebr are not suffient so they are not paying attention on social distancing.

Also after check in, hanbag and person security is taking too much time. most of the passangers are not following queues and making crowd. security team should encourage them to come in proper queue and control certrain people who and not following social distancing but due to insuffieciet staff its not happening.

Taxi Hire issue:

Ahmedabad city to Airport taxi is easily available with regular fair but last 3 times I didn't get fare taxi on return journey (Airport to home).

Whenever I booked from OLA or Uber, Driver asking for tripple money and in cash. When i tried to convence them to go by rule they simple ask me too cancel the requests.

When I am checking from airport arrival local taxi and auto driver they also ask for three to four time higher than regular fare. Also they have made union and nobody wanted to go with regular fare. They are saying airport is now under private company control and they are forced to do the same. I dont think any private company encourage taxi union to do such nonsence thing.

Hi, I have taken the flight from ahmedabad domestic airport and parked my bike in parking at 6:52 PM on 20 Jan 2022. And today I.e 23 jan 2022 at 11:00 AM, I took my bike back and paid 940/-.

Is this the right price for 60-65 hour?

This is just cheating to customers, as I have asked the price of parking and they told 150/- for 24 hour.

After Adani's took over the Ahmedabad airport I was expecting a better management than govt. But it's more than a year things are going better then worse. Totally failure in managing the things. The bathrooms of departures are shabby, most of the taps are not working, leakage, soap dispenser not in order.
The auto baggage machine is out of order since long and passengers had to stand in long queues. Totally kios, no Adani's staff was available to handle the queues. People were fighting to rush for scanning the baggages. It is very shameful to see very poor private management like this.

Hi my mother has flight today morning 19/10/2021 4:10am by Etihad airlines. I booked wheelchair for her so she can get board by help wheelchair staff. Unfortunately she got wheelchair assistant after got boarding pass and once on the way he asked 500INR and when my mother refused and said will give you 100INR as a tip than he said I will leave you on the way go by yourself unfortunately she wasn't in that position to answer as she was scared and she has to paid 500INR to him. I have just questions if they are getting paid why they are asking and secondly my mother wasn't only victim there were 3 other people faced same problem and he took 155INR from 3 people. I want to you put investigation for this. Why this happened again and again. It's so shame for this kind of this staff in our country. Please take strict action against this bribery.
