Revenue Group harassment

I have no outstanding debts, especially not medical debt. They've called and left messages once or twice a week for the last few months from the number (44) 528-1348. Unfortunately, they're not on the BBB website, so I can't file a formal complaint, and I don't want to give them my address or any other personal information on their website contact form lest they harass me in a different way. I can't afford legal help, either.

I don't owe anything. I contacted my Doctor, I have the order sheet for the service that they claim I had. I'm not paying for anything I didn't occur. My Doctor also has no record of these test being conducted. I have PTSD and was forced to leave my employment as a result. This whole process has put me in a state I wish not to be. The date of service, 10/26/2016 is impossible, I wasn't in the area. This needs to be resolved or I will be forced to get legal assistance. This has been insulting, the people at Medina general were rude and accusatory. I refuse to give my e-mail address and there is no law stating that I must.

The Paragon Revenue Group does not listen when a person calls them to straighten out the credit report. They have me listed for 12 medical accounts that I do not owe. There are 3 accounts listed that are the same account and shows all the same information on all 3. By my rights, all of these accounts should be removed. All 12 accounts are from CAROLINA HEART CENTER. I was making payments of $100.00 a month and that was not good enough for them. The only reason Carolina Heart Center claimed 12 accounts to collection is because my heart doctor resigned from there and I decided to go to Lexington Heart Center, so Carolina Heart Center got very upset with me when I no longer wanted them for my heart doctor. So this is what they did to me even while I was making the $100.00 payments. I called the Paragon Revenue Group and told them that I was making the payments every month but they didn't want to hear it and they told me that liens were going to be placed on everything I owed until they get paid. Well right then and there I stopped making any payments and told them to take me to court because I have no money to pay any of the accounts . The Carolina Heart Center refused to make good on their word, we agreed that I would make the $100.00 payments every month but they stabbed me in the back. I have nothing good to say about the Paragon Revenue Group and nothing good to comment about the Carolina Heart center. I would recommend that people should find another Heart Center to go to because the Carolina Heart center will throw you under a bus and laugh about it. I would never refer anyone there for medical attention. NEVER

Revenue Group Rude Customer Service

i have owed money to revenue group because of bills sent to them from a Cleveland area hospital for a couple of years. It has been very difficult to pay when you don't get bills sent to you a monthly basis and called every once in a while by some of the most unprofessional customer service employees. I finally considered paying this billing online but i needed a reference number to do it. No paperwork no info. So on the weekend of 1/08/16 i called and left a message telling them i wanted my reference number, my name and to call a specific number, mobile number. Very interesting that on Monday 1/11/16 they called me, on my home number, and ask my ho they could help me, or something to that effect. I told him I wanted my reference number. The conversation began, He asked me how much was I gonna pay? I told him none of his business. He got angry with me and I kept asking for my reference number. He ignored the question and said ya know what i'll do i'll send you a pay in full bill to your house, you make sure you pay all of it. I told him to not expect that because i was not financially ok to do that. I kept asking he kept saying the same thing and call ended. I think he told me to call back if i wanted the number. Couple minutes later called them back using same number that called me, and got another male. Again asked for reference number, we kept cutting each other off, i was called rude and was hung up on. Now I know I am not the first pissed customer they have dealt with, and if this is how they react well they need to go through some new classes on customer service. I called a third time and got another male, and told him i was calling for a reference number. he gave me no problem. we exchanged needed info, and i asked some questions when talking about the previous calls. I did find that if you skip a payment they will not resend bills or for the following month, the company expects you to remember. They compare it to your car note, and i told him well as i understand what your saying, i DO GET a car payment bill every month. Hard to pay something you are never aware you owe if you aren't notified. Was also told they can't keep re-sending bills out to people, because of the thousands of customers they have. Just sounded to me like they have a amount of customers they can't take care of properly, and their workers don't know how to handle angry customers which i'm sorry to say your gonna get when calling about people's money. In the end it was the 3RD individual i spoke to that gave me my requested info with NO questions asked. He was calm and helpful. I still had vibes of anger running through me, so don't think i treated him nice all of a sudden. Got off the phone and guess what I did, got online created account and PAID some of the bill. I pay online because it is private and you don't have to deal with people like the first two individuals.

Revenue Group Debt collection

If a company is going to give you an option to pay the debt online then please have a visible link to go to or visible instructions to assist in directing to that option. when I called the supplied number for assistance I had been directed to an automated directory that when offered 0 for operator was then sent back to directory and never was able to ask a representative. if I am to make a payment how is it my fault if I cannot reach the company through the means given by that company?

Revenue Group debt collection practices

General Revenue Group called me about a medical bill they said I owe. They did not identify themselves as an independent debt collection agency. They did identify themselves as "a debt collection for the Attorney General's Office of Ohio".
I willingly talked to them because I figured I did owe a medical debt, as I have many. I asked them for proof of this debt before I pay on it. She agreed. I continued to get "letters" but no proof of a bill. When I called the agency back, she said the letter with their account number and the amount is the only proof they provide. They continued to present themselves as working for the "Attorney Generals office"
The line they gave me is that I owe the hospital, I didn't pay, so they sent the debt to the Attorney General's office so the Attorney General could collect the debt. The Attorney General then lets General Revenue contact us to set up a payment plan. If we agree, the Attorney General does not come after us... If we don't the Attorney General will begin the process of collecting the debt. Also, there is a minimum payment each month that is required in order for the debt not to be sent back to the Attorney General... based on the amount of debt, mine was going to be $100.00/ month. Which I can not afford.
I began to feel that this was all a falsified contact - that the lady from General Revenue was lying to me... about everything... that they are contacting us on behalf of the Attorney General, that I must pay a minimum of $100.00/month, that they can not provide any other form of the bill... What do you think>?
Monday I am going to the hospital to find out more, but I want to know how much I am being scammed, or not. Anyone know?

Thanks, I'm glad there is not the minimum requirement because 100.00 / mth. right now is a lot!

Revenue Group Awful experience

I had a medical bill from a hospital in the Cleveland area sent to them. I had received a first letter stating that they were the third party agency who had the account now. About 3 to 4 months later I started receiving phone calls in regards to the bill. First and foremost I would just like to say that I work in the collections industry and have been trained exceptionally well with FDCPA. I told her that financially I couldn't do anything right now because I was out of work, and my husband was barely paying our regular monthly bills as it was. She asked 'Are you even going to look for a job?' I said 'Excuse me, I have already started to look ma'am' She then said 'Wow, I can't imagine not having a job, How are you making it? Are you even getting by?' I told her that as soon as I could do something I would call back and set up some arrangements. She said 'Well, just so you know miss we will be serving your husband with this bill' I told her that was fine and ended the conversation.

As I have many years collection experience not once did she state on the telephone or voicemail that she was a 'Debt Collector' or 'This is an attempt to collect a debt and any information obtained will be used for that purpose' She had only called me 2 to 3 times since I had spoke with her the last time and had only received approximately 3 letters. Whereas in my collections field if you can't get a hold of someone you call them back within 3 days. Everytime she would leave a voicemail the only thing she would say is 'This is revenue group calling for Ms. Blank, I'll be in the office tonight until about um, 7:00 P.M. please call me at [protected]' Not once did she do a Foti Message stating that she was a debt collector.

Then I had received a bill the beginning of the month stating that the account had been ignored for our demanding payment, and your lack of concern only makes things worse. I had called back 3 weeks later to set up the arrangements because I was finally back on my feet and a little more financially stable. Thats when I spoke with a male. I told him the situation and who had been calling me in regards to my account. Told him that I was in a better position and I could make 250-300 dollar a month payments. He then replied 'Ms. You do realize that we have this account in pre-legal and it's been looked over for legal review' I asked him why I had not received anything in the mail in concerns to this. (My company sends you out a notice stating that the account was referred to the legal department and you have so much time to call and make an arrangement) His reply was 'Well Ms. you've only been buying yourself some time, how could you of not known about this?' I told him that I couldn't pay the balance in full and would need to make some sort of arrangements. He said 'Well, we can offer you a settlement on the account of 2000.00' I said 'Sir, that is not a settlement that's balance in full' He then said 'Well, if you can pay the balance in full now, you can save yourself from it being reported to the credit bureaus, or it will be much higher when they do sue you for the account, the only arrangements that I can take from you today is 400.00 a month before the end of this month, for the next 6 months' I told him I didn't understand why I had not received a letter or phone call in regards to the account being sent to the legal department and was offering him close to 300.00 a month, I was also willing to set up check by phones to pay in full. He stated that he could not accept that from me and I would have until the end of the month to come up with balance in full or pay the 400.00 a month for 6 months. I was very eerie of also setting up check by phones as well.

A friend of mine had a Key Bank account that was sent there as well, she called in, was willing to pay, had asked for the settlement offer and had set up a post dated Visa transaction to come out of her checking account on her next payday. They debited her account the next day for the balance in full and not the settlement offer that she was supposed to do two weeks later. She called back in to speak with a manager in regards to their mistake and was put on hold for 45 minutes before she talked to someone who told her that they had just 'stepped out' and would have to call back later.

I am very unhappy with this company. They are insulting, rude, and unprofessional. I plan on getting an attorney's opinion before I send them that much per month. I am surprised that they have not been sued for FDCPA violations, harassment, and being false and misleading.

I had bills from a cleveland area hospital sent to them. Everyother person I have dealt with there has been rude and unprofessional. It is difficult to pay for something when you are never notified of it. Bills would come in the mail every once in a while. I later find out they don't send more bills out the following months if you have not paid they just expect you to remember. That is because of the thousands of customers they have. I was tol. They can't keep sending bills out. Well one day I thought easier to pay online, so I called and left message that all I wanted was my reference number which you need to work online. I gave them a specific number to call me back on. When they all of a sudden called me back 2 days after message on the wrong number I will add, all I wanted was reference number. Then the male on phone asked my how much was I gonna pay. I told him none of his business. Well the conversation started there. I kept asking for reference number wouldn't give to me, just told me he would send me a full bill in the mail and I would have to pay it. I did tell him don't expect that because I did not have the finances. Plus if the other bills had not been getting here why would that. Never got the reference number. Call ended. Called right back to get someone else, male, and because we kept talking over each other called me rude and hung up on me. Now I know I'm not the first pissed person they have talked to, and if that is how they deal with these situations, they need to learn some manners. I called a third time got a different person, a male, asked for reference number he said no problem gave info. I asked him a couple questions and spoke about the last calls and number was given no questions asked. That is why I pay online when I can i don't have to deal with people like the first two individuals.

Revenue Group is a complete joke. The person I just talked to was Dawn Weaver. She talked so much crap that I was forced to school her in debt collection law. She tried intimidation and bullying. Didn't work. I still have old paper work from the AG's office, BBB and FTC. I was forced to complain about the revenue group. Do not deal with these people. They try to intimidate you into paying them.

I went to the Cleveland Clinic twice. I am not an Ohio resident. I paid in full and within a week of receipt each bill that they sent me, the last one of which must have been in error, because I was left with a credit balance. This means that, as I am not familiar with the way that Ohio hospitals bill, I paid the Cleveland Clinic too much and they should have sent me a refund check. However, instead of doing that, they turned my credit balance over to Revenue Group for collection! I tried to explain that the Cleveland Clinic OWES ME MONEY rather than the other way around, but the ###s I talked to could not understand that. They still turned me over to Revenue Group, whose phone number I am blocking. I will not be returning to the Cleveland Clinic for many reasons, one of the most important of which is that they use Revenue Group to try to collect money from patients to whom they owe money.

We are now being harassed by the Revenue Group for a Cleveland Clinic bill that our Insurance company said was not filed correctly. Monthly, I contacted Cleve. Clinic. They never resent to the insurance. Now Revenue Group has it. I have told them, faxed proof, mailed proof and told them over and over. They say, "so you refuse to pay?". I say "Yes, because we do not owe it". Anyone have ideas on how to get this resolved? We have excellent credit so I'm not worried about that. I get very frustrated because it doesn't matter what proof I have, they keep their same mantra.

In April 2013 I called The Revenue Group in Beachwood, Ohio and asked to have a balance of all of my outstandings bills they have for me and a pay off amount and to make payment arrangements. There was quite a lot of bills from Lake Health from medical care from when I broke my neck. (Keep in mind I sent all the papers needed to Lake Health for hardship that they needed to lower my bills because I did not have insurance at the time, and somehow they were never enough and they even misplaced them once, so I was turned over to The Revenue Group). By the end of June 2013 and some large on time payments I was told everything was paid in full. I questioned over 3 times, are you sure I have paid everything off with you I owe. Repeatedly she said, yes, yes, yes. You do not owe us another penny for anything. You have paid everything in full. I am going to send you the paperwork proving it and we have 2 months to report it to the credit agencies. I felt elated. Finally, getting back on my feet. Today, August 23, 2013, I called Lake West pay a recent bill for radiology. Thankfully I have insurance now. So when the lady at Lake health billing answers, she says, "we'll, what bill do you want to pay off, you have them going back to 2002 (that's when I broke my neck & was told by Revenue Group I was paid in Full).? I said those were all paid off in June of this year. She said, well, they were suppose to let us know. I paid my bill to her for the balance of what insurance didn't cover and called Revenue Group to have them set everything strait with Lake West. The woman gets on the phone and looks everything up and says you have a balance of $5, 588.40. I said that is not possible. I was told in June I was Paid In Full beyond a shadow of a doubt. The woman said, well, sorry, she forgot some. She added, it doesn't happen often, but it did this time. The other person just didn't know where to look. I swear all the ones she brought up were the ones I was told were the ones I paid off. Now I have to match up account numbers to my papers I was sent from the first girl. I called the Attorney General Collections Enforcement Agency at [protected] to see what can be done about this. Any suggestions anyone? Please help.

It is illegal for Hospitals to negatively impact your credit, SO the Revenue Group as well as other collection agencies that are contracted by The Cleveland Clinic, University Hospital and others. They cannot damage your credit with it, HOWEVER if you never ever pay and your bill gets sold to another agency, THEY can report to the bureau and damage your credit.
The Cleveland Clinic will work with anyone. They have no interest payment plans for 6 mo- 1 year. If your bill is over 1000.00 they have contracted with a lender that will offer a super low interest loan. It isn't through the Clinic, it's through US Bank. If you can't do any of these options, you can pay whatever you can every month and they will accept it. MAKE SURE TO CALL every other month so that they can prevent it from going to the collection agencies. They are happy to do that but you must communicate with them.
It's not their job to remember your payment so take it seriously and keep the lines of communication going.
ALSO you may qualify for financial assistance. Even if you don't fall under the income guidelines, ask for them to send you an application anyway. You never know...
