PODS Enterprises pods delivery

Called to schedule my Pods delivery. First they couldn’t find my Pods. Then they told me they were never sent to Texas. So instead of it taking a few days it will take TWO WEEKS. None of my Pods links work for me to even see my agreement. I was told they would listened to our original call & recalculate my delivery at rates back in December. I have now waited 13 days, made multiple phone calls 30 mins to an hour each. I keep being told I will be called by Sherry Booth. I was told I was sent emails and I was called twice but they got my vm. I never received either emails or messages. I was then told they had the wrong email address, and address I have never heard of. 13 BUSINESS DAYS later..I’m still waiting. Sleeping on an air mattress. No kitchen utensils. Had to buy a cheap desk to work. Had to buy bedding, etc. I don’t understand why this person won’t call me back. I want to get the adjusted total (reasonable),pay it and get my stuff on the road. I was told today it was being escalated but I would not received a call until next TUESDAY. I’m frustrated beyond belief. I want my stuff! About ready to file a claim with my insurance company that my stuff is lost. Or call an attorney. It will be 10 days to transfer the stuff here once they figure their stuff out. Unbelievable! It will be over a month! I want an apology,my shipment to be recalculated as promised,my stuff on the road,to make sure I am not charged another storage fee on 4/28 for any days in May while my stuff is in transit and I want compensation for this nightmare..a months storage for April refunded to help cover the costs of my expenses and inconvenience and dealing with this unprofessionalism and STRESS.

Desired outcome: See above.

PODS Enterprises Pods sales rep errors lead to extra expense

At the original Point of Sale call I discussed the number and size of PODS containers needed for my move. Based on the guidance provided by PODS associate, I reserved one 16ft and one 12ft container. Two weeks prior to the move I called PODS again to discuss my uncertainty about having enough container space. A PODS representative asked me for details about size of home, number of rooms, number of boxes, etc. and told me that to be safe I should get two 16ft containers and reassured me this would be more than adequate to handle my move. I questioned reserving a 3rd container but again was reassured the two 16ft containers would be sufficient. Based on this guidance I changed the order replacing the 12 ft. container with a second 16ft container. This was bad advice as the moving crew was unable to fit all my stuff into the containers which required me to immediately make other plans to load, transport and store my remaining items. The last minute moving expenses necessitated by fact that PODS associated gave me bad guidance and resulting in not having adequate capacity to contain all household goods and thus I had to scramble to:

1. Get another moving crew (245.95) + $100 cash tip

2. Rent 15ft Uhaul moving truck ($183.29)

3. Purchase moving supplies ($5.44)

4. Purchase gas to refill Uhaul moving truck ($20.20)

5. Monthly rent for Uhaul storage unit ($219,95x2), required door lock for unit ($10.92)

6. Moving truck rental ($60.49).

I cleared out this storage unit in September, moving my belongings to a

family storage facility which eliminated the continuing rental

expense. However, this required me to:

1. Rent a 20ft Uhaul Truck ($279.62)

2. Hire a moving company to load the truck ($240 labor + $90 cash tip

3. Purchase gas to refill Uhaul Truck ($49.58 + $10.92)

4. I had to take a day off work (equates to $673)

4. Mileage for personal vehicle my wife had to drive in order to bring me back

$0.625 cents per mile 129 miles=$81.00

I will not include details of separate error wherein PODS sales agent confirmed redelivery to a requested ZIP code. However, when I called to request the containers be redelivered after being stored in PODS warehouse for 5 months, I was informed they were unable to deliver to that city and my only option was to hire separate delivery company to unload the containers and transport to final destination. After 2.5 months of seeking a resolution to extra cost I had to incur as a result of PODS error, PODS did agree to reimburse my storage fees.

Desired outcome: Reimburse itemized expenses totaling $2,489.36

PODS Enterprises Removal of container cost me $1500 in fines and insurance is deceptive by design.

I rented 2 storage containers from them and the first one went okay and they delivered the second. The date i wanted I told them I needed it removed before 3/29/2022 as I would no longer own the house it was scheduled to pick up 3/28/22 but they didn't show and was assured it would be picked up early in the morning the day I settled. Well I pulled in to the driveway of the home because I had a last minute thing to do and parked in front of the POD. I was in the house only 5 minutes total and my husband and I were loading the car the whole time in and out. I rec'd a text from some evil driver saying he could not get to the pod sent me a picture of the car and said I tried calling so I left. You can reschedule for tomorrow I cant wait. He never stopped and knocked on the door or blew a horn nothing just left. Called customer service they were wretched and kept repeating can't help you he left the area. I asked for a manager and was told I was talking to one. Called back and was told by that person he was the manager and no removal today. The settlement almost cancelled and I was fined $1500 because she did not have the use of her driveway for her movers. I was treated badly and I paid a high price. They never responded to my complaint. I told someone else who was nice and empathetic but she too did not get back to me. Eight months late realized being charged$49.00 a month insurance that it said was included in price and 50 when they traveled. I read more when I realized 2 tvs packed they way they suggested had cracked screens. But reading on I realized that was insurance only for fire, or theft not their fault normal ware and tare or how you packed it. But reading the policy was the first timeI l;earned i could have opted out of insurance and supplied my own. I want my money back for insurance and fine for not having pod out of my drive on settlement day.

Desired outcome: I want insurance refunded and $1500 compensation.

PODS Enterprises End User Nightmare...PODS Damages Building and Does Nothing

I have read dozens of complaints of PODS no honoring peoples' insurance and damaging peoples' property. Here is a new one. PODS damaged a building.

During the removal of the containers the truck destroyed a very expensive seamless gutter. PODS was contacted as soon as this damage happened. PODS asked for an estimate for repairs, which as the manager of the condominium association, I provided them with. They in turn provided me with a case number. I have received one email since then and not one reply or update.

This has gone on for over five months. It appears PODS way of dealing with issues it to kick the can down the road, place people on hold for as long as they can stand it and then with that sing songy customer service voice tell you "they have escalated your request".

Desired outcome: PODS can pay for a new gutter to be made and installed

PODS Enterprises Poor customer service

To whom it may concern, my customer number is [protected]; Pods dispute IR2339221 related to order 3258407. I relocated from Arizona to Edmond Oklahoma. I rented Pod storage containers to store my personal items before I physically moved. I purchased a house in Edmond Oklahoma and had a scheduled delivery date for Friday, August 8th. I received a call from a Pod's customer representative stating that due to a mechanical failure they could only deliver one Pod instead of all three Pods. Also, the date needed to be rescheduled for Saturday, August 13th. I had hired a moving company to move my items from the PODS into my house. However, because the date was rescheduled I had to pay the moving company $863.33. The customer service representative Jasmine Pellot reviewed the invoice and told me that the company would reimburse me for the cost within 7-10 business days. I still have not received a credit to my account. Also, I had two items that were damaged during the move: a bedroom dresser and the kickstand on my motorcycle. Jasmine opened claim: IR2348416 in which I still have not heard back from anyone regarding the claim. My biggest frustration is poor customer communication and lack of customer service regarding updates on the status of my claims and reimbursement.

Desired outcome: Frequent and timely updates on the status of my claims and refund.

PODS Enterprises Moving company

In May 10,2022 we rent a container with PODS and have it store in their facility in Ocala Florida since we sold our house in New York and had to rent a fully furnished house in the Villages FL. When we want to schedule to delivery or drop off to our new house the representative told us that there is no room in their storage in Ocala FL, so they store it in their West Palm Beach Facility because they share storage facility and the representative said there is no additional charge, and they do this all the time. When it's time for us to schedule it for delivery they had us sign a new contract or they will not deliver our stuff. They charge us 1775,00 for a new contract and 225,00 for delivery. They also charge our credit card for the following amount of 302.51 418,39 and 126,27 for throe storage rental from July 10 through August 24 wherein our stuff was delivering on August 11.2022. When we signed the contract in the beginning, we paid them 2978,04 and 500.90 for the month of June for transportation cost and storage, we decided to move in Florida in order for my husband to get a better care close to the cancer city since he has terminal cancer, This PODS company robe is completely, and we have to use our savings account that is intended for his care and his medicine. This experience cause stress between me and my husband. My husband is a former marine and a first responder and he got sick because he serves his country and to have to be victimized with this company, almost 7300.00 is a lot of money. Whenever we dispute this transaction and wants to talk to a manager, they always told us they don't have a supervisor on duty that's why our concern was never address.

Desired outcome: we want our money back.

PODS Enterprises Over charging

My pod was delivered June 27 and arrived at their destination storage facility July14. I called July 18 to have it delivered July 22 to avoid any extra charges. They said that they were too busy to deliver until August 8 and I would have to pay an additional $306 for the extra month. I have exchanged emails with 2 different Customer Advocacy-Customer Resolution Specialists in the last 30 days with no luck and not much feedback. All they say is that it is a complex issue and they need to gather all of the data. Frustrating.

Not sure why it is so complex. In what universe can you delay delivery and still bill the customer extra money.

Next stop is state attorney general and what ever Federal agency watches over them.

Desired outcome: Refund of the extra charge

PODS Enterprises Drop off, Pick Up, and Customer Serivce

I had a confirmed drop of on July 26 they were a day late. I had a confirmed pick up for both pods for July 30th, only one was picked up. Called back they said the earliest for pick up would be August 17th. We are on a Military move we are already out of our house and the pod is still there costing us half a months rent now because they still haven’t picked it up. We’ve called customer service over a dozen times now trying to get this fixed and a couple people told us it would be picked up on August 3 and guess what still hasn’t been picked up. Called back for them only to tell us August 17th again. Called for managers only to be hung up on multiple times, told we were going to be called back, told we would have a pods rep call us. No one has called us back. No one is even interested in helping us so the pod doesn’t continue to cost us money. We’ve already spent 12 grand.

Desired outcome: To get the pod picked as soon as possible

PODS Enterprises Pods storage and delivery (pods.com)

Aug 2, 2022.

Horrible customer service. Horrible experience. I ordered the PODS, set up all the delivery dates, confirmed it all only to find out over the weekend before a Tuesday delivery that I needed permits. It was NEVER mentioned. NOT ONCE. After I spent my Sunday on the phone being assured that this morning I would receive help with the problem. ZERO calls. So I call back and now I am on hold with my third person who said 'oh I'll fix that for $200 more. Niice. Haven't been baited and switched in a long time. What an absolutely horrible way to do business. I mean it is EMPTY CANS and the ripoff and crap service is at an all time high. Use anyone else because these people are a scam who have no problem lying to your face. Also, if you ask for a supervisor they make you wait, then send you to a person that has no idea what is going on. It's absolute [censored] service.

Desired outcome: I have already been [censored]ed SO my desired outcome is nobody ever uses them.

PODS Enterprises Customer Services Reps are Allowed to Lie to You to Get You Off the Phone

Beware the reps will call and lie to you and it is acceptable company practice. Once you pay and they take your stuff you are stuck. I was told I would get my stuff delivered from CA to TX in 10 days for a little over $6,000, but they took my money, picked up my pod and then cancelled my TX delivery date and moved it out to 20 days after pickup. When I called to complain and waited on hold for almost an hour, I was told the manager refused to talk to me, but the rep said he would call the service department to move back the delivery date to the original date and I would get my stuff in 10 days. The rep even called me back to confirm it was moved back he spoke to the delivery department. Then two days before my pod was supposed to be delivered, I checked online, and the pod was still in CA. I called and they told me the rep lied and that was okay with the company. He had notes about our call, but he never moved the delivery date. He even noted he told me he would move it but didn't move it. He lied so I would stop holding for a manager and get off the phone. Pods basically told me that he lied, and they would file an internal complaint but that is it and I would still need to wait the additional 20 days to get my stuff. There nothing else they can do I would just have to wait until they get around to delivering my stuff. Hopefully I'll get it sometime this month. Don't use pods it cost about $1000 more in shipping cost to move to TX and they have horrible customer service. Find another company and save yourself a lot of money and stress.

PODS Enterprises POD destination delivery date was changed and I can't unload plus won't have a bed

My customer ID# [protected]. When I placed my POD order I explained my driveway is 200ft long, the top 1/2 is sloped but the bottom 1/2 is level. The representative said loading on the slope would not be a problem but the driver would call with any concerns if there were any. The POD was delivered on time and the driver did call. He suggested placing the POD near the telephone pole next to my driveway. Thinking he was simply relocating into the level part of my driveway I agreed. The driver elected to turn the POD 90* and place it on the grass next to the pole perpendicular to my driveway. I was able to load the POD in this position but didn't understand why it was placed on grass instead of pavement. My problem developed when on 7/18/22 the Bristol, Ct. driver came to return to storage but could not remove the POD because it had rained and he feared getting stuck in the grass. He gave me a card with Alexandra Strahowski's phone # (Quality Service Representative) I called and she explained the drivers concerns as I explained I also had a problem with a new pickup date. She turned the phone over to the Bristol manager and I became apparent that the Redelivery date of 7/25/22 in Maine was no longer going to be honored. She suggested a date 8/22/22. I tried frantically to explain I am a senior with a hip replacement who was relying on others to unload the POD, not to mention the beds for the new location were loaded into the POD leaving me with no where to sleep. She went on to tell me that if there were any earlier cancelations before August 22 I would be notified. Again in desperation I attempted to explain but was told all that could be done was occurring.

When I hung up I call [protected] you customer service help line. The representative seemed very helpful and concerned. He said "I will attempt to enter a pickup date for tomorrow 7/19 and a delivery date in Maine 1 date later than original date 7/25 now would become 7/26. He told me to keep a eye on my emails for any changes. I checked my email today and the pickup date 7/19 was there however the destination date was still 8/22 and my problem still existed. I again called the help line only to discover the pickup date was not today but 7/20 a day later and the destination date of 8/22 was still entered.

I know this letter is long but I tried to include everything. In summary, the driver should not have left the POD in the lawn and I will have great difficulties at my destination without bedding and more importantly help to unload.

I am extremely upset and disappointed all I ask is that my Maine delivery date of 7/25 be honored and I get a confirmation of this. Please help.

Please note my attempt at photos was poor and the photos are rotated 90*but I think it is clear enough to see there was plenty of room to place onto my driveway.

Walter Klauber

Desired outcome: Please restore my delivery date 7/25 at worst 7/26

PODS Enterprises PODS moving

When PODs came to pick up my POD I was not home. As they left their truck struck my gates and destroyed them. Had they simply opened them all the way there would have been no problem as it is a 15 foot opening. I called and filed a claim. I was told that their adjuster would call me the “ next day”. I have been calling for 3 weeks! No reply! This is $1600 to $3000 claim. I have called and emailed. No response. Each time I call I am assured that the adjuster will call me “ tomorrow “.

Desired outcome: Pay for the damage they did.

PODS Enterprises pods moving and storage

My wife and I ordered 2 PODS. When my wife went to the storage facility, she discovered mold on most of our belongings. I took a trip myself to see what was salvageable and saw the mold was extensive. The manager on-site informed me to not touch anything and to make a claim before moving it from the facility back in February-March of 2022. I have called week after week since only to hear that someone is assigned to our claim and I can never get in contact with them. We have since moved and my wife is giving birth to our 4th child in the second week of July. We have so many things we need in storage and we can’t even schedule the PODS for delivery until we speak with our claims agent. We’re still paying for storage and have been. We need help from anyone at this point, please!

Desired outcome: I’d like compensation for the items that have been destroyed and the option to have the PODS delivered so we can salvage anything!

PODS Enterprises PODS driver cause damage to driveway.

Driver admitted fault and took pictures of damage that they caused to our driveway. I filed a complaint with pictures of the damage and description of the driver's negligence. It's been nearly a month and they do not respond to calls or emails and it's impossible to speak with anyone. The only option left is to take them to court.

The incident took place the first week of June. When I initially scheduled the POD, I spent over two hours on the phone to do so. A great deal of that time was spent giving extremely detailed instructions on where to park the POD.

Despite those crystal clear and detailed instructions, the driver instead blocked access to our garage. When asked to move the POD, the driver initially refused. When pressed, he agreed to correct it, but was too lazy to lift the POD back onto the truck to do so. This is important, because the truck has large wheels and did not cause any damage. Instead, he hand-pushed the dolly that has four small tires on a hot day with a full load in the POD. With the tiny tires, the driver proceeded to pivot the POD while it wasn't moving. This short-cutting caused deep pitting and gashes into our driveway, which was brand new.

The driver immediately admitted fault, took pictures, and said he would speak to his manager. We never hear back, despite dozens of calls and 30 voicemails to Alex Luedy in their complaint department. I provided pictures of the damage, a detailed description, and a very-reasonable quote for the repairs. It's been radio silence and I've spent hours of my life trying to get through to anyone who can help. They seem to farm out their call centers, have canned answers, and it's impossible to talk to anyone with decision-making authority. This is some kind of shell company with zero accountability. I will never use them again.

Desired outcome: Covering their damage to our driveway.

PODS Enterprises Pods mechanical equipment

On May 6th 2022 Pods delivered the Pod that I rented. As the Pod was being lifted and put down on my driveway a large amount of Hydraulic Fuild spilled all over the driveway staining most of cobble stone pavement. The driver immediately stopped the Mechanical lift. He apologies and reassured me that they will send a professional Pressure Steam Washer to remove the stain.

Pod did sent a gentleman that said he does pressure washing on the side. He was not a professional Pressure Washer so he did not have the right equipment or chemicals to clean the stains and after trying to remove the stains for over 4 hours the stains still remains. When I spoke to him he actually said he was a Realtor and did some pressure washing on the side.

What they should have sent from the beginning to do the job correctly is a professional Pressure Steam Washer who has knowledge of Hydraulic fluid stains on pavement and remove the stains.

I have been calling and Emailing Alex Luedy of Pod.com for the passed couple of weeks with no response. Below is his last email contact on 5/23/22. I have electronically sent him pictures of the Hydraulic stains and a explanation of the incident.

As of 5/23/2022 he has not contacted me on this matter.

Good morning,

I am reaching out to advise I will be your point of contact for the paver damage. Please send me photos of the area, the location states you were not satisfied with their attempt to clean it already.

Going forward please contact me directly, the location is unable to assist and we handle these claims on their behalf.

I find this hole experience so unprofessional, and irresponsible on Pod behalf, especially since it was Pods fault, and nothing has been done about cleaning the mess that is still left on my driveway. Hydraulic Fluid is toxic and Dangerous,

Inhaling hydraulic fluid is toxic and dangerous.

I would like this problem rectified by Pod by sending a Professional Power Steam Washer to my home to clean the stains.

The last picture is after the Realtor came to try to clean it, as you can see the stain is still very prominent.

Desired outcome: To send a professional Power Steam Washer to remove the hydraulic fluid stain Pod left on my pavement driveway with a email response to when that will occur.
