hi shannon, that person who responded is nothing more then a "site troll". If you get a chance just read some of this comments. Most of them or itnot all of them, are nasty. I understand the frustration of dealing with abusive minority races. I don't think they're all like that per se, but I understand about the rudeness in those particular voices. I used to work at a Jack in the Box in Hempstead, LI a few years back. So I know where you're coming from. Hang in there. Eileen

The documents that you have posted release the Mayo Clinic of any liability! Pretty sad you have to be informed by a third party after the fact! I never wrote that you were emergently admitted for open heart surgery, however, I did write that a healthy patient is just not suddenly admitted for open heart surgery. There was a diagnosis of Cardiac Disease(for how long? only you know) prior to your Open Heart Procedure. Again, I hate to inform you, Sir, but your pre-op exam does not make you exempt from any medical complications. And if the pre-surgery agreements you tout were valid then no surgeon would have ever have been sued. And the drainage tube/s could have migrated all the way from from my chest, through muscle and tissue, to my stomach with sufficient force to puncture it in two places! Oh well, if you say so. Maybe you have some unresolved issues regarding the legal aspects of medical mistakes.
