When the economy started taking more of an advanced decline, my husband and I thought it would be best if we started early to protect our largest investment...our home. Begining in November of 2008 we took steps to get a Modification. It's now March and we have just found out that SOMEONE at AHMSI has our file. No one from AHMSI notified us. Funny how they bug the pants off you if they don't see that payment in on time!!! They lost our January payments and because our personal banker went to bat for us they eventually refunded all the fees they charged. We send our payments now via internet so we are sure they get payment but in March they returned our payment!! WHY.....because it's in Modification. NOBODY told us we had to send Certified funds now, just because of Modification. I think they just want the customer to default, become delinquent, ruin their credit and most important, our LIVES. Contacting these people is a nightmare! They don't speak English, they talk to you in their language, we get frustrated and when you request someone that speaks English they really get nasty to you. Horror after horror story. We are constantly fighting to make payments and keep our credit in excellent standing with this company. Tell me...I can't be the only one out here that is experiencing such problems with AHMSI.

I wrote them a detailed a letter regarding the fact that they paid my property taxes BEFORE they were actually due. Now they are sticking me with owing them the money to pay it back at their huge interest rate. I have had no response from these people. They just ignore me and my requests to refinance to lower interest rate, especially since now my husband has lost his job.
