We have recently had a horrible experience with nationwide and are very interested in getting a group together to go after them

WOW, I don't even know were to begin on how this company has misled me from the day I bought the 3 year contract. They must have been laughing all the way to the bank when a sucker like me came along. My tenant has been without AC for 3 weeks now in Atlanta GA 90 degree weather because they will not approve the repairs. She has lost her food in her fridge twice now because they have not sent a contractor out yet. I have spent 10 plus hours on hold listening to there bullshit hold message trying to get answers - they repeatably don't have record of emails, faxes and phone conversations. I have a 5 page (and counting) of all my correspondence. They are requiring service records on the AC and water heater - stating that the water heater is to be drained once a year - who does that? I could go on and on.

I would like to be apart of this suit. I had a gas leak and was denied repairs. That are clearly stated as covered in the Terms Of The Agreement. I was out of $800 to have this leak fixed. Please count me in on this suit. Its a shame that this is such a scam!!! I had problems with my AC unit here in Houston and they blew me off for two weeks until someone said I was only covered for one unit. A 7000 sq ft home with one ac unit? Of course the sales rep never mention that but its not in the contract either. Please include me in getting these bastards!!

Me too, I had file a claim about my A/C, with the unreachable customer service, I've been waiting more than 48 hours now, still no one contact me yet. My husband is angry with me, why I purchase the home warranty with this company. Just don't know how to do! Please include me on this suit.

I would alos like to join. WHen I took out the polciy I started to rent my house. I took the policy that paid for the pool and spa. I had a pool service on the pool they came weekly and checked chemicals etc. 6 months into the policy the pump-motor broke on the pool. Their technican that came out said ou could see the pool was in good working order. THey asked me to maitenece reords on the pool. I asked then what they meant they wanted full matinence records to show proper maintence had been performed in the way of reciepts and invoices. I sent them at least 20 documetns and credit card bills showing my weekly pool service, chemical checks, payments, seals being replced in the past, invoices and receipts from previuos motors etc however they kept saying my pool records weren't complete even though I had a weekly service it was ridiculous crazy. My pool is now Green, and has been unfixed for 8 months as I currently cannot afford the $600 for a new pump. The contractor told me this isn't the first time it has happened with Nationwaide, normally they fix it under the $50 fee however if its over this they often refuse...... Sure -- I've had a policy since June or July. I called in the evening on August 8th to let them know I had an emergency plumbing situation and had to call my plumber (who is not a Nationwide plumber). Since then, I have placed numerous calls, e-mails. They will pick up in heartbeat if you want a quote; then the wheeler-dealer salesmen is giving the fast talk on the phone. NOT SO for a claim. Several times I was on hold for so long that I hung up after it looped back to the menu. Finally! A request was e-mailed to fax in my signed contract sheet, which was done. Still, no response. Weeks are going by, no one e-mails in response to my numerous querries, no one acknowledges the faxes I sent. I FINALLY got someone on the phone who simply said "they didn't get" ALL those e-mails I had sent (and finally started keeping copies of) to the claims dept & customer service dept. I was furious and said I would not pay another installment, at which time the woman droned over the phone my obligations under contract. To which I pointed out that a contract was a two-way deal and Nationwide was totally ignoring my claims. I'm trying again this evening, but it's been over THREE MONTHS trying to get any help out of this lousy company. Nothing.
