LivingSocial trying to get refund for voucher

I purchased a voucher to Victoria's Nails in Shawnee, KS and used it about 6 weeks ago. I liked their service and decided to buy a couple more through an email. I found out that I could only use one voucher with them (the first one) and they will not honor the 2nd and 3rd. Someone at the shop said I could get credit for the amounts paid for those. I am having trouble finding anyway to contact Living Social. Can you help me? My vouchers are #[protected] and #[protected]. Donna Massey

LivingSocial travel deal to china 25% off

My name is Joe Geringer and myself and my wife bought one of your 10-day China trip packages with the lure that you were offering 25% off the trip. 25% off appears all over your e-mail, ad and everywhere else except for when you go to purchase and the final discount is capped at $50.00. Now if this is not deceptive advertising then I don't know what is. This practice will be reported to the Better Business Bureau unless you truly do honor your advertised 25% off. Below is a screen shot of the e-mail for the promotion.
The rate quoted was $919.00 before the 25% discount and we received $50 off totaling $869.00.
What should have been with 25% is $689.25.
I see that you should refund us a total of $359.50 to total a 25% discount.

LivingSocial utah body spa

I purchased 3 sessions of polar-body lipo from living social. I received the voucher via email. I contacted utah body spa 3 times may phone leaving messages; the company never got back to me. I then emailed the company7 and they never got back to me. I contacted living social, explained my situation and asked for a refund. All I received from living social was an email stating "we are so happy to resolve your complaint" and sent me copy of the same voucher. I replied to living social asking for an explanation and my email was "rejected" by living social. Follow up emails to living social have received no replies. I will never, never, never again purchase from this disorganized and fraudulent company.

LivingSocial unethical behavior

I arranged for a 10-day trip to China through Living Social. Departure was 12/2/17. The company, Rewards Travel China (RTC), promised — in writing — that the airline they use is Hainan Airlines, an award-winning, first class operation. Based on this, I finalized my trip. RTC also promised to have my flight information 2-3 months before departure (which would be around September or October). After a number of emails asking for the flight information, I finally received it on November 15 — some two WEEKS before departure. I also noticed that I was not booked on Hainan Airlines — as promised — but on China Eastern Airlines, which is a budget airline with poor reviews. This is a classic "bait-and-switch," and I have chosen not to go on the trip and to seek a refund (which RTC is reluctant to give).

I have filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau, but RTC claims it did not say they would use Hainan Airlines; again, I have it in writing that they would.

Their website claims that they book "5 star hotel accommodations in downtown location." This is decidedly untrue as the hotels are outside the major cities and 3-4 star at best. They also claim that "[w]hen you contact us by phone or by e-mail, we promise to get back to you within 24 hours. (During our working hours)." Boy, is this not true as I had to send numerous emails and make a few phone calls before I could get an answer.

I have no complaint with Living Social, but I am writing for two reasons: 1) to ask if there is anything that can be done to secure my refund? and 2) to warn consumers about Rewards Travel China and to think twice before booking a trip with them. Living Social should also vet this company a little more, as there are similar complaints against them on the internet.

Any assistance you can provide will be greatly appreciated.

LivingSocial printerpix voucher for photo blanket

Bought a voucher for two photo blankets with Printerpix.com and they charged me shipping and confirmed my order sent and then sent an email to me saying the order was not completed and the tracking number they provided me with for my order is not a legit tracking number. Tried to call printerpix customer service, they put me on hold for 30 mins and then hung up on me at least ten times when I called back after that.

LivingSocial nexus 6

In China, All Android phone without Google service, I'm a fan of Google, So I bought 2 Nexus 6 32GB smart phone from www.livingsocial.com.

When I received the smartphones, I found that they are both used, and one of them the package was not original, both smartphones are customized for AT&T version but not for regular retail version.

I contacted livingsocial (Request: [protected]), and they said I need return the phones for refunds, but they have not replied to me after I claimed that I had paid for the China's import fees and international shipping fees.

Now, I found livingsocial removed my account after I said I will file a PayPal dispute.

I have take following actions, still unresolv.

1.File a PayPal dispute, PayPal China's customer service said I will pay for the return shipping costs to U.S., This is not a result of an my error.

2.File a bbb complaint, but have not replied.

3.Contacted Illinois Attorney General (Protecting Consumers) and Submitted a consumer complaint online submission form, but have not replied.

4.Contacted PayPal U.S., but have not replied.

I really feel, protect consumers legal rights are too difficult in U.S.

I have already take too much time for this and I don't know what to do to solve the problem.

Any suggestions for resolve this issue? Thank you.

LivingSocial motorola nexus 6 32gb

I herein comfirm that the followings are true and accurate and I would like to take the corresponding legal responsibilities.

American is a society of good faith, I trust American companies and individuals very much and hence I started to purchase commodities online from U.S. since year 2014, but I have never encountered any webiste other than www.livingsocial.com, the website cheats the buyers. I recently learned that the website was rated at 2.78 only on BBB.org, and reported 393 disputes.

This September 22, I purchased two smartphones through www.livingsocial.com, Motorola Nexus 6 32GB 4G LTE Smartphone (GSM Unlocked New), the smartphones were delivered to a U.S. address(SF Express American Branch), then SF Express shipping them to my China address.

When I received the smartphones, I found that they are both used, and one of them the package was not original, both smartphones are customized for AT&T version but not for regular retail version.

10/21 or 22, I found they removed my account when I want to find my order number.

I contacted www.livingsocial.com (Request: [protected]), and they agreed the goods return and refund, but they have not replied to me after I claimed that I had paid for the China's import fees and international shipping fees.

I think www.livingsocial.com should compensate all of my financial losses, this case would not happen if they have delivered me the brandnew smartphones as ordered, and I would not contact BBB org either.

I will give www.livingsocial.com negative feedbacks/comments on BBB.org, I would never give up, and I will take all my endeavors to protect my legal rights and interests.

Ultimate date night

Purchased oct 14, 2017
Two movie tickets and a $100 restaurant.com egift card

I followed the instructions explicitly. on oct. 14 I went to amc lincoln center and the e-movie voucher was not accepted, although this is listed as one of the participating movie theaters. I tried repeatedly to ask that the reference number be validated or re-issue a new one. no response. I wish that ls would take some ownership vendors that they allow to do business on their site. at minimum vet the companies this is a scam and they're crooks.

LivingSocial product not received.

I bought a voucher from Living social around five weeks ago. I did not receive the code to renew the voucher, so I contacted the customer service several times by telephone. On 14/09/2017 they told me that they would order the item, a king size mattress protector, ( £24) for me directly from the merchant, and it would arrive within the next ten working days. It did not, so I contacted them again and they said they would email the merchant again and send me a copy of it so that I had the contact of the merchant myself. I did not receive this e mail. I have still not received any contact from the merchant and I have not received the item. I require my money back.

LivingSocial restaurant credit

I bought 4 Jimmy's on the Park restaurant deals a few years ago. We only used one of them because we only can use it one at a time. I thought I could use them all in once. My husband was upset with the restaurant policy, so we never go back. I went back there with my girl friend to try to use the credit value, but we found out that they closed down their business.
I tried to reach living social customer service to get the value of the money I paid, but they never get back with me.

LivingSocial credit for an unused vendor that closed down

I requested a site voucher/credit for a measly $20 because the vendor shut down. I inquired on getting a credit for the voucher months previous because I couldn't find any information on when the vendor was opened/hours/service (it was a restaurant) well little did I know then that the vendor had actually closed its doors but that wasn't public knowledge or advertised. They still popped up on the internet and the phone was valid, just not being picked up by a live person. Fast forward some months, yes after the voucher expired, and I looked again at my vouchers and remembered this one and the issues I had. I confirmed finally the vendor closed shop months previous. So I emailed LivingSocial asking for a site voucher and was denied. Even though I found several references where a site voucher was honored to other customers for this same issue! I asked for a manager and was told one wasn't available; I asked again, then was sent almost the same response, that this wasn't their policy. Not exactly the truth. I am very frustrated and disappointed, my money was stolen!

LivingSocial they ripped me off

I bought a voucher from them to learn how to play golf, but they had problems with finding a couch and I was left without service. I thought it would be reasonable to ask for a refund. And I was said I would get it if I canceled my order within a week. But how did I know? You didn't say anything when I was making an order. It was surely not my fault, so why am I responsible and have to lose my money?

LivingSocial ultimate date night 597; order [protected]

I purchased the ultimate date night (see above order number) for diner and movies, deadline is within 2 days, 8/31/17. I successfully openned the diner voucher but the movie voucher code, which was provided, was not working. Contacted LS via chat, who couldn't open the voucher. When I requested a refund, I was told that a full refund could not be issues, as my only option was to settle for a "Trade-In" with a 24 hour expiration. You must be kidding! You couldn't provide a service which was purchase and then you turn around stating I'm stuck, not being able to issue a refund for a committmeent you couldn't uphold. Will never use LS and will forward my review on Yelp! Kathie Bazikian, [protected]@gmail.com

LivingSocial puchased a voucher which business closed then not given a refund

I contacted customer service at Living Social on 7/17/17 and informed them that business of voucher I purchased had closed down. (South Slope Public House). I was informed that a refund could not be done and I would have to accept Deal Bucks, "fine" I said. I was informed that it would take 4-5 business days. I called back today 7/24/17 after not receiving any bucks or information. Spoke with a customer service rep, who then told me she would submit the request and it would take 4-5 business days. Not understanding at all I asked to speak with a manager who went in circles about how it was being processed today instead of saying it was never done on the 17th when I first called. His name is Armand and he would not give me his last name. He was rude and would not let me speak with anyone else. I asked him if any restitution could be made due to my troubles, he said goodbye and hung up. This is horrible customer service and I would really like something to be done. My name is Clifford Taylor and my email address is [protected]@yahoo. com. My telephone number is [protected]. This will lead to other issues if not resolved, I am truly offended.

I bought a living social cooking class for two for 44$, the business closed, so I asked for credit for amount purchased, and was told I cannot get even credit for amount purchased, so I just spent 44$ for nothing? Ya, this isnt over, this is insane.

I purchased some cupcake voucher for my daughter a little while ago, same story as your the store closed down and it was bad luck for me because i couldn't be bothered chasing calls after calls, email after email, one person after another and department to department for a refund. It is until 2 weeks ago they honor me 15% off my purchase but the computer didn't offer me 15% when i proceed to payment. I addressed the concern to them immediately and it has been 10days without a single progress. So i started searching for their contact number, then it jotted my memory that i purchased with them in the past with negative results. It doesn't seem like they care about their business or staff care about their job. Sad way to run business
