LG Electronics Washer/dryer tower

I purchased the dryer/washer tower in November. It was delivered in December. It stopped working around 2nd week of June. A tech came to the house at least 4 times, which each time it took a week or so to come back out. He finally said it couldn't be repaired and a new product would be delivered. After I didn't receive it, I called only to discover that he was no longer with LG. No one bothered to call me and the entire process started over. Another tech came out to replace the same parts that were replaced by the first tech, knowing this was a WASTE OF TIME!. This is all time I've taken off work to be there for the tech. He tells me we need to try more means of repairing before a new product will be issued. I have been without a dryer, having to use a laundromat, for TWO MONTHS AND SEE NO RESOLVE IN SIGHT! THIS DOES NOT SET WELL WITH ME AND I NEED A NEW PRODUCT TODAY. THAT IS NOT TOO MUCH TO ASK!

Desired outcome: New Washer/Dryer Tower brought to my home today 8/11/2023

LG Electronics lg ultrawide qhd 34-inch curved computer monitor 34wq73a-b

I purchased this monitor on April 7, 2023, from Amazon.com and after only three and half months the monitor has stop working completely. This has been very disappointing. I made several calls to your tech support about the issues. The 1st tech I talk with did not try to do any troubleshooting with me, then I asked for a supervisor, and this took over 45 minutes to get her to the line. When I described my issue, I was told that this monitor does not support using the USB hub built into the monitor to connect my mouse and light bar, which it was working earlier. I gave the model number, then she put me on hold to look the monitor up, which made me feel that I was lying to her about the capabilities of this product. I read the product description from the Amazon’s website, which was the reason that I purchased the monitor. At the point I made a request to have a placement monitor sent, but this request was denied, after waiting for a week for someone to call me back. I was told that you will send a shipping label and box for me to ship the product back for repair. I have only received the shipping label by email and was told that the box will take another 7 to 10 days for me to receive. Which is not acceptable, now I must go out and purchase another monitor, while I wait for the repairs to be done and the monitor to be returned to me.

This has made the decision for my family not to purchase any more LG products, due to my earlier experiences with two Lg TV’s one a 55 inch were within a year of having it, the panel needed to be replaced twice and a 65 inch smart TV were the Wi-Fi connection has stop working and when I called about this product and I was not told how to get a replacement part and this happen a couple of days after the warranty expired, which now I am using a Amazon firestick to view steaming services for app’s that are built-in to the smart tv.

Desired outcome: I would to have theLG UltraWide QHD 34-Inch Curved Computer Monitor 34WQ73A-B, replaced with one that work properly.

LG Electronics Customer service center

I recently had our less than 2 year old LG fridge repaired. Getting the repair scheduled was a nightmare. I agreed to a flat fee repair (which I like). The technician was outstanding. He told me that I would receive the repair receipt which would note that the damage was due to a power surge (need that b/c my insurance will cover part of the repair). Two days later I received a Service Receipt indicating all of the parts replaced and the repair completed. it also indicated that the repair was done at "No Charge to Consumer".

Well come to find out that was not true...although no one could explain why I received that receipt with no charge but acknowledge it was sent. So for over a week I have been trying to get the "real" receipt. I have called 4 times; spent several hours on the phone with transfers and hold times...each resulted in a promise to send in a request (apparently a different depart. handles receipts and a customer cannot talk directly with them) for a receipt and I would received it in 1-2 business days. Still have not received it. I asked to talk with a supervisor. After waiting on hold for nearly 20 minutes, I was told one was not available but one would call be within 30 minutes. That was 5 days ago...never received the call...

Desired outcome: wave report charges or immediately get me the receipt with the annotated power surge note. Supervisor contact me

LG Electronics Dishwasher

Please do yourself a favor and stay away from this company. I purchased a new dishwasher about 6 months ago, it's now leaking and after spending 45 min with the agent on phone, they decide to not support as it's not "under warranty".

No description has been provided and the agent is refusing to give me their agent number or to escalate to a supervisor. I'm calling the extended warranty right now but this is absolutely unacceptable and most horrible experience (in 23 years of actually working in contact center and customer care myself).

DO NOT BUY LG! no matter to what great price, they are worse more than Samsung.

LG Electronics LG French Door Refrigerator

Bought an LG French door refrigerator in 2016. The compressor died in 2019. LG repaired it. The compressor just died again. LG did not repair it for free. It cost nearly $1,000 to repair a 7 year old refrigerator. Beware buying LG refrigerators. LG knows that the compressors break and continue to sell. Disgraceful.

By asking me to add more to the complaint just in order to have it filed seems bogus. I have explained about what happened. There is nothing to add. The LG French door refrigerator which is not quite 7 years old is a piece of garbage. The compressor died twice in a span of 6+ years.

Desired outcome: I want the $834 back for the labor.

LG Electronics LG 6.5L Automatic Washing Machine

I purchased washing machine in April 2022. However, I lost the bill due to unforeseen reasons. Now, my machine is having fault to which your engineer suggests cost of Rs. 1700.

Also, this executive says the Machine is of 2017, however, I bought it in 2022.

I should get the defects covered under warranty.

I really hope you have a solution, else, consumer forum will be my last option

LG Electronics Customer service/refrigeration

I ordered a refrigerator which arrived first week of July. This refrigerator was broken on the inside.

So there was no way for me to see any damages. I’m relocating from another county and had to be present to take a delivery of the refrigerator.

However, about a week or so later, as I am relocating piece by piece and began to use the refrigerator I noticed that the door was broken

I reported this and they sent out a technician to replace the door. However, the replacement was also crooked and broken. I requested a replacement soon as the refrigerator was only two weeks old and I was on hold and transferred no less than 12 times for a period of almost 8 hours, so I missed a complete day of work. I will be following up to both take possession of a replacement, and to be compensated for my day with loss of work. Would like full refund as service for

have been appalling, was unable to understand the person TRYING to communicate in addition. transferred no less than 12 without being asked or told where to , only to find myself at the menu with no one. I addition to calling back I had to explain myself over and again

and yet the documentation in system reflected only two or three calls and will never ever use LG and or Home Depot again. Also I was told to home depot so they may request replacement. So I did and he e get called they said that car is clause you have to one another one !?!

In fact I will be following up for compensation.for lost wages and severe pressure on my sick heart that this has caused to my health

Your customer service reads well from script boy had zero clue how to take care of customer

Just want my money back and lost wages and any additional damages to my health ! Now

We appreciate heating of your concern.

Home Depot is only allowed to exchanged a damage appliance of such damage is properly documented within the first 48 hours. As posted in all Home Depot locations including the Home Depot website,

“DEFECTIVE OR DAMAGED MAJOR APPLIANCES – Before a customer either accepts a delivery or takes an order home from the store, major appliance products (including refrigeration appliances, washers, dryers, ranges, dishwashers and some microwaves) should be inspected for defects or damage. Once the delivery is accepted, the product may only be returned if it is found to be damaged or defective. For home deliveries, you must call [protected] to report the damage or defect within 48 hours of delivery. If the item was picked up in the store, please contact the store to report any damage or defect WITHIN 48 HOURS. Orders picked up in store will need to be returned to the store. Home Depot will not come to pick up returns."

Unfortunately, this policy is by contact. By not following it, Home Depot is unable to receive return authorization for a defective or damage product.

Please contact LG customer support at [protected] and they should arrange getting someone out to fix the damage. Warranty coverage does not cover loss of time.

Please let us know if there are any further issues or concerns.

LG Electronics Top load washing machine

I purchased a LG top load washer last year and it worked fine for the first 7 months. I have a 5 year warranty. The washer for the last 3 months has been leaving grease like gray smudes on my white loads - sheets towels and whites. I have tried cleaning the machine on its clean the tub cycle with cleaning tablets recommended. The machine continues to smudge up the white loads. I called LG customer service and we set a repair with A&E and they sent me a huge inner tub replacement. The repairman said that that the replacement tub would not fix the probably and told me to do deep wash tubs and that it was probably the detergent build up. I use HE detergent and do not use fabric soften.

The saga of multiple calls back to LG customer service which got me nowhere. I would say 6 or more calls where I had to retell the story over and over but continued to get nothing. I asked for a supervisor who finally said that LG would get me a deep cleaning of the washer and gave me a reference number and was to the higher ups would get back to me in 2 days. Never heard back so again I called. I was told LG does not do a cleaning and that there was nothing they could do. I have had enough of this product and especially their customer service.

They basically pushed back on everything. What is my extended warranty for?

Desired outcome: Replace the washer or fix the problem!

LG Electronics Refrigerator not working

My freezer went out on my unit on 7/4/23, was told a repair man would be out to fix it on 7/11/23, which he did come and stated he fixed the isse. We woke the next morning to my entier kictchen filled with water from the icemaker and the entier unit not work at all. Not only did I lose all my freezer food on 7/4/23, I have now lost all my fridge food on 7/12/23, not even a full 24hrs after the repair of the freezer. I called and spoke to a LG rep on 7/12/23 @12:pm about the issue and stated the tech would be to my home same day between 1-5pm and for me to not go to work to get the issue resolved. The repair guy never showed and when I called back I was told they didnt see it in the system and I was placed on hold for over 2hrs to speak to a supervisor. The supervisor emailed me stating that the repair man would call me to come out within 24-48 and that still has not happend. I had to call out from work on 7/12/23 and take a day of work without pay, still for my issue to be unresolved. I called back today and spoke to several different reps for them and the supervisor Sheng to tell me I now have to wait until 7/19/23 for the same repair guy to come back out since he choice not to come the other times he was instructed too via text from rep according to Sheng. Sheng is very rude to be a supervisor and would not allow me to complete my sentence anytime I stated a fact about my overall experience. This has been the WORST experience I have recevied whith LG and I have relized I made a majoy mistake by buying all LG products, given this experinece. Lg is only willing to provide you with a 1 time food rembursemnt of $150, which is not nearly enough for a family of 6, losing food on different days due to freezer issue that was "repaired" and the next day the entier unit stop working. Seems that the consumer no longer matters to this company, not unit they start to lose reveue due to lack of sales. They say their calls are recorded, I want all my calls pulled from 7/4/23 up until today so they can hear how redue their reps are and all the differrent lies I have bene told each time I called. I've also emailed the president and left a voice message, hopeful someone can assist me.

LG Electronics Cancellation of amc form no [protected] - paid to delhi direct, service 4 in patparganj, delhi

Cancellation of AMC form no [protected] - AMC for window AC was issued was valid from 10-Jun-2023 to 09-Jun-2027

For this AMC the payment was made to Delhi Direct Service 4 in Parparganj (delhi)and request for cancellation was made to them immediately.

Unfortunately, the refund was never initiated even after 30 days for INR 12461.

Message received from LG on June 11, 2023 : Dear Mr/Ms Rajesh singha, Amount Rs 12461 received for AMC form no [protected] of your AC.This AMC is valid from 10-Jun-2023 to 09-Jun-2027. Cheque Subject to realisation. You will receive the Invoice through WhatsApp or download from http://lgdealernetplus.com/WhatsAppAmc/LoginForm

LG Electronics LG Refrigerator

purchased an LG Refrigerator which was delivered mid to late February 2022; contacted LG customer service after troubleshooting (per LG instructions) failed to resolve the error code issue. Discussed the issue of repair with three layers of LG customer service reps. The last layer was a rep who was in the department that would make exceptions to their year warranty, which would allow repair (parts & labor) since the unit is less than 17 months old. Why do they have an exception department if they never make exceptions (which was quoted to -“we would not make an exception even it the unit was out of warranty for 1 month. Obviously, the only reason LG has a 1 year warranty on this product is it is of inferior quality. I would not recommend purchasing any LG product. Sadly, I had to endure three LG customer service reps for one hour and 32 minutes (via phone) with each one telling me there was an exception available for repair (parts & labor) borne by the manufacturer (LG). Wasted my afternoon

LG Electronics Products & company itself

LG has taken USA for fools. They have taken our money, & running out of our country with it. THERE IS NO RECOURSE As thousands of others, I have made countless calls, emails, sent my proof of purchases & texts to them about the problems with their appliances. 1 day, I actually spent 6 hours on the phone with them, at 2-hour intervals! That was only 1 day! There have been others as well. OLD PLOY; hear all the problems, walk you through the steps to "fix" the issues. Even though you have already done them with other csr's as well (More hours). Put you on hold for 5-10 min at a time. Checking their phones & chatting with co-workers. Come back & say they have to send you to another "department". Rinse & repeat & repeat & repeat. The employees don't understand that when this company closes, they will not have jobs. I bought 7 new appliances. including a $950 "efficient" dishwasher that requires you run gallons of hot water to the sink for it to wash the dishes. No dryer or fan to dry the dishes & smelly mold growing at the bottom of it bc it's never dry on the inside. If I have to do all that, I'd save myself the $950 & do them myself. I was told to open the door right after the cycle & prop it open with a dish towel, so the dishes can dry! $3500 refrigerator that's supposed to make "craft ice balls", not. There's a class action about that one. Abt, Home Depot, etc. sell them regardless. Dryer that turns off w/wet clothes/towels in, bc a sock that has dried, has gone past the sensor, telling it all the clothes have dried. Who has time to babysit expensive appliances? Email saying they appreciate & respect the feedback(?) & will use it for future use on new production! I want help on MY appliances as a loyal customer, not someone else's READ THE PRIVACY POLICY It states if you sign into your account for a complaint or anything, you forfeit your right to be part of a class action & will send all info, including your payment info to a third party! USA help us!

Desired outcome: Fix the problem with the refrigerator. Take back useless dishwasher to replace with one that washes & dries dishes or refund me.

LG Electronics Workers complaint

This place is uncomfortable, disrespectful and racist.. they have a guy they brought in name steve as head of security he is rude and try’s to intimidate guards and others he talks so bad to everyone. This man also hates African Americans he mistreats them. He tells us we can’t speak to other supervisors only him and Melanie the other manager does the same talks bad about everyone.. I feel so bad for the guards they blame everything on them even if it was their workers fault.. everyone in the office or on the floor dating each other n all family as welll so when things happen they don’t do anything because they all are together pregnant by one another as well. a worker showed a text message where Melanie talked crap about the guards. They want provide no air conditioning for the guards it’s very hot they say get a fan but it’s so hot that don’t work. the gates was broken for months they made the guards use their hands to open and close them and constantly they told them their backs were hurting.. Something must be done about this unhealthy, uncomfortable environment please help..

Dear Team,

In terms of service provider not expecting such service from reliance group.

Yesterday we buy LG Refrigerator from Reliance digital Kothrud showroom representative was given quotation for selected model of Rs 17500/- and at the stage of final billing quotation is 18400/- find the attached bill. Still I accept the things as human being.

They committed to door step service + installation instead of Delivery boy delivered parcel in the parking in this scenario how can any housewife pull the fridge on 2nd floor...? After that we called at reliance digital for installation they denied for this. How can possible this behavior as an service part.

Dear LG Team

Not acceptable this kind of service need immediately revert and send official staff for installation.

Purely pathetic unacceptable service not appreciated.

LG Electronics LG Portable Air Conditioner

I purchased model number LP1021BSSM..serial number # 201ctxm09250 in June 22 and now have a major expense replacing the compressor which will cost a bundle.

Talking with a LG representative I was told that unfortunately the mfgr warranty has expired and the cost will be on you. With something used very lightly last year..about 3 month and just now dealing with this repair bill.

I request your assistance in dealing with this unforeseen cost

Please advise your intentions. I will elevate this if you decide against providing

any recourse.

LG Electronics Lack of customer service

I contacted LG customer service 6/14 about a removable film on a new TV. I was told by LG that there is indeed a film on the TV screen that is supposed to be removed. When I tried to remove the film, it seemed too difficult so I called again 6/15, I was on the phone for 1.5 hours. I sent pictures and was told to try to remove the film further. I stopped because the flaking of the product did not seem like a film. I was told I would be contacted back by LG. I had to call again on 6/19 and then was told by the agent that the film I was trying to remove is a "polarizing filter" and that it is not supposed to be removed. She informed me that the damage to the corner of the film (that has now been peeled off due to the instructions sheet and my first interactions with customer service) is not LG's problem. And that there is no documentation that the agents told me to keep peeling. I object to this denial of direction - if one listens to the tape of the 1.5 hour long conversation, they will hear my hesitation and LG's direction. Sam was the LG agent. I then spoke to Ann a supervisor who did not ask me a single question when she got on the line, she told me that she had talked to Sam and that the issue is not covered by LG. I let her know that she did not start the conversation properly at all - she didn't even want to hear my story until I insisted that she listen. They suggested that I take the TV back to where I purchased it - this is unacceptable service. The case got escalated and a representative from the "presidential" customer service told me emphatically that this is simply cosmetic damage and is not covered by LG even though LG told me to keep scratching at the film which turned out to be the polarizing filter. Figure that out! I will not be purchasing LG products again. Perhaps I can save you folks a problem - purchase another brand. Their instruction pictogram sheet is wrong and their customer service reps do not know their product. If they had they would have known that I should not have been peeling at the wrong film even if after looking at the pictures I sent them.

Desired outcome: a replacement TV.

Product not available ... If you guys dont have Product available dont promise anyone that you gonna deliver items. When i called and complain them all they have to say sorry and nothing is being helped. Is sorry gonna do my laundary and food for 3 weeks. I will never ever purchase any items of LG ever again. My last mistake ever made to purchase LG product. Now I am left with no appliances for 3 weeks. Very bad service.

LG Electronics Refrigerator Model GF-5D712SL

My complaint is that this expensive refrigerator, now only five and a half years old (first installed 17 December 2016) has an ice water and ice dispenser that no longer operate.
The LG recommended service technician thoroughly examined the refrigerator, and decided the cure was a new door.
I am bitterly disappointed in the apparent quality of your product. I expected more from your brand.
Also, LG Australia has confirmed my poor view of the quality of this LG refrigerator, in the following email:

Thank you for reaching out to LG, As discussed
We note that the Manufacturer’s Warranty has expired. We have considered the Australian Consumer Law and given the age of your refrigerator and the purchase price , LG considers that the product has been of acceptable quality for a reasonable period of time. As such the consumer guarantees no longer applies and LG does not believe that it is liable to provide you with a remedy under the ACL.

My conclusion from this advice is that LG is satisfied that the life of their refrigerator door is five years four months to be precise.
I believe my disappointment in the quality of my LG refrigerator to be justified.

LG Electronics Washing machine model WT7100CW

I bought this product from Home Depot in October 2020 and the machine motor gone bad on May 18,2023. The customer support gave me the non existent phone numbers and they never call me back, the repair companies do not response with LG. I am very much frustrated to get hold of them, I got hold of local repair company at San Jose and paid from my pocket $95.00 for diagnostic test, they figured out it's a bad motor and the company does not want to pay the labor charge which is almost $300.00. So I do suggest people not to buy LG home appliances, they have a very very poor service regarding repair. My appliance only 2 years old and gone bad. serial no. 007TWUC3R790.

LG Electronics LG TV promotion was not fulfilled

I purchased an LG TV through Amazon on April 13, 2021 (Amazon.com order number: [protected]) and at that time LG was doing a promotion where I should have received a free PL7 portable speaker with the TV ($179 value). It was never delivered. I have been trying to resolve the issue with LG over the 2 years by emailing [protected]@lgtvpromotion.com and calling them at the number provided by customer service, but the number has been disconnected. I have also tried to resolve the issue through the NJ Better Business Bureau.

After 2+ years, LG now has claimed that this is Amazon's responsibility which Amazon rejects.

Desired outcome: $179 refund
