Hair Cuttery Hair color

I had my hair bleached as in highlights but I wanted to brighten it up a little so came in for partial highlights and got foiled in the most weird way possible now I have had my hair highlighted before it was specifically 10 foils and was as orange as orange can get when I told her why are you placing the foils that way she said my techniques are different forget about different the manager didn’t even care if the hair was bad they said I had to pay no matter what and told me toner can fix it no toner can fix ugly highlights . The lighter highlights in my hair was already there the orange hair is what I had done even though I showed a pic and asked for lighter brighter hair

Hair Cuttery how they treat me

I had an appointment for a hair cut , and a blowout for my little cousin who’s graduating, i took her at 4pm on june 20/22. we got there and i have already been treated by the haircut lady CHRISSY, very rude she scream at my little cousin to “Take your hair out “ i was like oh no is there anyone else my cousin didn’t b feel comfortable, she got mad and said “i don’t care if they don’t want to work with me i don’t even want to work with them , and was just giving us dirty looks , then the girl told me sorry but then talked back to me saying oh well go look for a other hair place THIS WAS IN THE Arundel MILLS ONe

Desired outcome: i need someone to email me or call me to fix this i feel very hurt i have gone alor of time have taken a lot of family so i need someone to fix this

Hair Cuttery Poor Communication Skills

Thursday, May 5, 2022, I took my 14 year old cousin to get her hair shampooed at the Hair Cuttery at 43 Town and Country. The stylist Lydia should not have questioned my cousin about her mother, where she was from or my relationship to my cousin. In fact, it made me and my cousin very uncomfortable. First all the family relationship is none of Lydia’s business. This definitely affected our impression of her and the decision was made not to give her a tip. This was a missed opportunity for Lydia to sell products, have a repeat client. Instead we received judgement. Lydia’s behavior was offensive and disrespectful.

Hair Cuttery Hair dye

I came in showed the stylist the exact picture of what I wanted done. She did not do what I wanted AT ALL. I wanted vibrant red on the ends I wanted a ombré baylage, that's not what I got I got this almost purple color with foil highlights she covered up all the red I had in my hair, I no paid 154 only to have to turn around and pay another 170 to have it corrected with a stylist that knows what they are doing really frustrating seeing I'm a single Mom busting my butt to have money for me Ans my kids now I just wasted 154.00

Sorry the outcome I want is at least half of my money back i understand a service was done but it was nothing that I wanted. So I expect at least half if not more of my money back

Hair Cuttery color t ballyage

I had an appointment on the 27th of .arch at 12:30pm and showed her a picture of what exactly I wanted and walked out with something completely different. I was so upset and heartbroken. I cried and devastated because me hair was 100% natural and now I'm ready to shave it all off. on top of that she didn't seem to be in a customer mood. and every idea I had she talked me out of doing. I will also include the photo I showed her and what I ended up walking out with. the pick ombre is what I wanted the hair with the highlights is what she gave me

Desired outcome: I would like to be refunded, everytime I go to your company to get my hair done it's nothing what I ask for.

Hair Cuttery Wash Cut Roller Set

I walked in to the HC in Kingstowne on 3/8 @ 430pm. I was greeted by the manager and the stylist. I asked how much for a cut and roller set. The manager said $23.00. I said okay that is fine. I stylist then take me back and cuts my hair then washes it. She gets the rollers for the roller set. She starts the process and i tell her that it needs to be smooth so it can dry correctly. She said okay. I also tell her she needs more mouse because they did have and setting spray. She then proceeded to say okay that she understood. She finishes and set me under the dryer. She said 45 mins. I am under the dryer over 45 mins. She takes 3 clients while i am under the dryer. I take the rollers out. I noticed my hair was not straight and it was puffy. I leave bc it is late. Next day it is a afro basically no curls or anything.

Desired outcome: I want a refund no need to go back bc they don't understand how to handle the curly texture of my hair.

Hair Cuttery Signature cut classic blow dry

I had been to this place this afternoon to get done my hair treatment shampoo and blow dry. Guys if you are going their to get done a cheaper service then let me tell you. You will waste your time. They always try to give you pricier option instead of doing what you need.They charged me extra for the same service I have been taking for more than 2 years now and when I ask the store manager he gave me a silly answer that prices are raised now. I didn’t see any prize change on their website. I had the worst experience ever. The store manager should learn to deal with customer at first.

Hair Cuttery Signature cut with classic blowout @$35​

I booked Signature Cut with Classic Blowout @$35​

I said I didn't want layers because it results in more frizzy but he snipped the ends which resulted in frizzy. I explained that if my hair isn't dry, it will result in frizz. My top was soaked from the shampoo; I had to put on a sweater I had in the car to avoid the frizz. Worst part is that he then told me my cut would be $65 due to the length. I have hair above the shoulders and it's easy to cut and blow dry. Why was I charged special occasion; is it because I said I was going to a luncheon? This is totally ridiculous. Worst $56 I have spent on my hair. During Christmas, in Orlando I spent $60 for hair cut (without chopping the ends), special conditioning treatment and an awesome blow dry.

This morning, I see that my ends are uneven probably because he chopped away (don't know the terminology) but he didn't respect that I wanted a clean cut; no layers which includes not snipping the ends. My hair this morning is as frizzy and my hair is now worst than before the cut. Also my hair is very greasy. I am requesting a full refund of $56.00.2/21/22 spoke with Ivonne who tells me that even though I paid by credit card, the company would issue a check. Neither Anita the manager or Olga Fields, DL called me back.

Hair Cuttery Haircut

I went to a Hair Cuttery yesterday to get my hair trimmed. My hair was quite long, and all I wanted was a trim. I told the stylist (my first time with her) that I wanted a trim only, 2" at the most. When she was done, my once long hair was above my shoulders. I was so shell-shocked, I didn't say anything. I stupidly paid (and tipped!) and left. I'm not one to make a scene or be demanding. I just couldn't bring myself to raise a stink when I was there. It's not like the hair could be reattached, so I just silently vowed to never use that stylist again. After getting home, I realized how stupid I was for not saying anything. I am out $27.00 plus a 25% tip, all for a haircut length I did not ask for or want. I hate my hair now! You offer a guarantee, so let's see if Hair Cuttery is as good as their word. I anxiously await a response.

while i can understand you were shocked they ask if it is to your liking 2x. i always tell them if i don't like it and yes i get nervousness with new stylists too. they always are understanding. what i always do next time is i indicate it with my hands where i want it shorter and say "keep it long just shape it to look good by removing any split ends" i don't have any but i seem to get the right cut every time after i do those steps. as for refund that is up to hair cuttery. i do know there is a smile back guaranty but i have never put that to the test since they always made the next visit closer to what i want after a oops.

Hair Cuttery Hair cut

Asked for a couple inches off in a blunt cut straight all the way around because I have fine thin thin hair. I was very detailed about this before she even started cutting. She kept saying she didn't feel good so I don't know if this altered her vision or not but this is definitely not straight all the around. I could've done this myself at home for free and had same outcome. How this looks even to anyone I don't know. I was charged almost $30 and didn't even get shampooed and conditioner and blow out. Make this right please. I'm trying to be as sympathetic as possible because she didn't feel good but I mean this should've been very easy for hair beings that I have extremely thin stick straight hair.

Hair Cuttery Hair cut/color

I am absolutely devastated at what has happened to my daughters' hair for her 16th birthday. My daughter asked for a beautiful dark red hair color and the woman made bleach spots and neon orange patches along with black streaks all over her head. She ruined her shirt with hair color. She splashed it all over her, she had color on her clothes and arms and face and then she asked for curtain bangs and the woman cut her bangs way up above her eyebrows. Nothing resembling curtain bangs! Her hair is ruined and she can not even go back to school until it's fixed because she is so embarrassed. She has cried for 2 days since she left that salon. Horrible horrible horrible

Hair Cuttery Elkton MD

I have been a customer with hair cuttery for many many many years. I started having anxiety problems after Covid started and it has gotten to the point that if I wake up and I can't get myself out of bed I will have to cancel any appointments I have at the last moments. So if you check my file you will see I have cancelled appointments at hair cuttery. I do feel bad but when I see Tiffany I always give her above and beyond tip, plus I've referred 3 people (my family members) to Tiffany (my daughters) and I will make sure they no longer go to that Hair cuttery and/or use Tiffany.
With all that being said yesterday I called Thursday 1/6/2022 to see if I could move my appointment up because I was feeling (not sure how or why) loopy and I was afraid I was going to need extra time for my appointment (today 1/7) I some to Debbie who immediately told me there are no appointments at all for Tiffany. I went onto her calendar (how I always book my appointments) her entire morning and afternoon were open. I was furious a. Debbie lied b. Debbie did it Check the schedule at all. I drove there and went into the store where I was unprofessionally spoken to by manager Jessica. She didn't know why the schedule online was not the same as the paper book. Now excuse me but haven't you had that
System (computer) in place for quite a while? Did you train your employees? Was Debbie trained separately? Why was I lied to? I got home and her schedule was changed again so I kindly moved myself to 12:30. I felt like I was in high school again. I was treated unprofessionally! I scheduled with another salon college square Monday @12 and if I get word that Jessica called college square hair cuttery and she bad mouthed me I will go to the bbb and file a complaint. Anyone who ask about hair cuttery I will say what I I need to say!

Desired outcome: Pay for my hair service, talk to Jessica & Tiffany retrain Debbie!!!!!!

Hair Cuttery Balayage, uneven and different colors

I paid for a partial balayage, toner, and blow out. Firstly, I wanted some highlights to blend in with my previous balayage. My stylist told me after she put in the foils, that you all aren't allowed to use the dryers to aid with the lifting. I would have considered going to another salon if I knew this beforehand since my natural color is dark brown. I sat with towels on my head to aid in the lift. I had a gut feeling that it wasn't enough time when she had me go to wash out the bleach. We decided on a lighter brown with a slight copper tone for the toner. When everything was done the blow out was good but I saw a reddish streak in the front. I thought maybe the lighting was wrong. When I got home I realized that the there was a clear color difference between my old balayage and the new highlighted section. I have a orange-red ring around my head head with dark roots and light brown ends. Three different colors. I believe bleach wasn't left in long enough to lift and the stylist attempted to cover it up with the toner. I paid a lot of money for cost, $190 including tip, and it looks like a $10 drugstore hair color job. I called to get it fixed but the stylist said to tone it darker. That would fix the red however it's not at all what I paid to have done. I had dark roots with blonde ends and I just wanted it toned down slightly. It front look like balayage. I also wasn't expecting to spend this amount of money when it was originally online listed. So my hair was ruined for my Christmas travels and I've been living with it for a week. I'm afraid to go back and have it "fixed" because there is no fixing the original issue without rebleaching and wasting more of my time to have unknown results. I would at least want a refund for the balayage portion I paid. I think I have to get it redone and pay for a full balayage to fix the issues. Please see photo for reference.

Hair Cuttery Not seeing my child as scheduled

So I scheduled my 2 kids to get a hair cut today at 3:30pm and there were 4 stylists there with no clients... We were the only ones there and taylor that works there said there's only 1 kids scheduled and someone canceled my other child and said she couldn't cut my kids hair and had to wait because she has someone coming in to color their hair at 4pm... Taylor was not doing anything and here we are 45min later and no one is here for color... What rude, lazy service. Despite me having a screen shot and email of both my kids being scheduled she did not honor that! Says a lot about some of the employees that work here! You would think the supervisor that is here would do something! Now it's taken 20 minutes snd counting so they can check me out because their computer isn't working!

Desired outcome: Basically they are sorry, but it's not their fault

Hair Cuttery Full highlight and toner services

My appointment was on a Wednesday with Angie we had a consultation a service of highlights toner total cost was $150 I was fine with that the minute I got into the chair she complained to me the whole time of how bad my hair was and that it was orange lugging now mind you my regrowth was dark and my aunts were blonde and level 11 so she did the foils put on the toner came home a few days later washed my hair and the toner washed out leaving my hair orange worse than what it was so I called and made an appointment for her to fix my hair went back in on the following Wednesday she put a toner on my hair all over and now I have dark hair I have no blonde and that's not what I asked for the whole time she's telling me of a master color us senior designer at that needless to say I am very unhappy my hair is now all one color no highlights and I was charged $150 I would like my money back I am very very unhappy instead of trying to work with the customer of what they're going for and having an understanding the whole time telling me of what I cant doing what she won't do or will not do so I'm hoping that I get a district manager to get back to me I would appreciate it and I would love speaking with that person.

Hair Cuttery Appointment not kept

I booked an appointment with hair Cuttery Germantown Scneca Meadows. I went there exactly 2min passed the appointment time and waited in line as there were 2 other clients before me. The lady greeted me said I don't have a scheduled appointment. I showed the text confirmation and then she said something that was not clear and walked away from the area leaving me to stand wondering. I browsed some products and as I did not hear from the anyone as to what is happening, I asked another representative. She said there's no one available appointments till 12pm (2hrs away) she said the stylist has taken another client since I was late. I saw the stylist with the same client when I walked in. I think she was getting more services and they disregarded my appointment to take this client. This is really very low level of greed for money by hair Cuttery. I am really disappointed. Is this your standard of customer care? No proper apology. I took time off from my work, booked appointment day ahead and to be told go somewhere else we don't want your business?

Hair Cuttery Hair dyed or should I say not dyed

My daughter was at Hair Cuttery in Glassboro and they were asked to give her Carmel highlights. When the job was completed her hair was very brassy and she had two bleach blonde streaks at her temples. When I told them I did not like it, they told me to come back tomorrow. When I contacted them to make the appointment they said they could see her on Monday. I then called the manager and told her that was not acceptable as she had senior portraits on that day. She agreed to see her but did not do the job herself instead she passed off to another less experienced stylist. At the end of that job her hair had been dyed back to her original color. I called the corporate number for Hair Cuttery and was told the district manager would get back to me, but I am yet to get a phone call. The next day I called and left a very firm message that I wanted a return call and my money back or I would be making my experience public record. Apparently Hair Cuttery does not care about negative feedback from customers or even have the curtesy to respond to dissatisfied customers! My daughters first salon visit was Friday July 8. Today is July 21 and still NOTHING! I would like my $200.00 back! This site is not allowing me to post photos. Please contact me and I will furnish them gladly. Thanks

Hair Cuttery Walk in — employee

Large standing sign set up right in front of Hair Cuttery. Stating: "walk - Ins Welcome. I Walked into the establishment with one client and 2 stylists.
A rather slight male came to the desk. I asked how long would it be before a I would be able to have a quick trim.. no style.. no hair wash.
His reply was not until 6PM. I walked in a 12:15 PM. I said to the stylist: why have a"walk-Ins welcome "sign out front then? His very inappropriate reply stated:" I don't know why they put that sign out. We don't do that here"
I walked right out and, will never go back

Hair Cuttery Sale of unwanted product

Date: 7/3/2021 - client number [protected] - The receipt has an ID number on it: "VILC13006" I asked for Shampoo and Conditioner. Paid for my husband's haircut and the products and went out to breakfast. While waiting for my food I looked at the products in my purse and realized they gave me the Conditioner, but instead of shampoo they gave me a "hair mask" product that was $8 more than the shampoo. We finished breakfast and went back across the street to HC and tried to exchange the product. They said we can only give you store credit. I left ALL the products I paid for and walked out. One hour later and your people would not budge. They kept looking at a new shiny books on procedures and said "no you paid with a debit card. We can only give you store credit!" What the heck! It was their fault I left with the wrong product; they should have honored the even exchange and maybe give me $5 store credit. Using a debit card is much safer than a credit card! But I will NEVER buy product from Hair Cuttery again especially when the stylist put the wrong product in my hand. I would rather get a full refund of $50.98. It was their fault! The manager said "it's printed on your receipt". The receipt was emailed and not in hand. I came home and printed it and no where does it state that policy. No wonder you're going out of business! That lucky stylist got a tip based on the total sale including the products. That's another rip-off you pull when the transaction goes through.
