We don't know much about how FedEx handles customer complaints outside ComplaintsBoard, but what we see here, on our website, is quite disappointing. We think there might be reasons for the company's actions (like not knowing about the complaints), and we would be happy to see them among customer-focused businesses that easily solve customer problems. FedEx Fedx Delivery Manager

Left special instructions in my Fedx Delivery Manager acct. which Drivers are not following. To ring my outside doorbell Apt. 1A and knock on door. None of my deliveries which was two deliveries under tracking # [protected], one on 09/10/22 and the other on 09/14/22. The delivery scheduled for 09/10/22, I received an email it was delayed and would come on 09/12/22. I had to call GA foods and they ordered another delivery because the food would defrost by 09/12/22 and you can't put it in the freezer to eat days later once defrosted as per GA Foods instructions because the food would spoil. GA Foods sends you food to last for a week or more so you have to keep it frozen. I later received an update that the package would arrive on time but the delivery instructions wasn't followed. Also, if the drivers don't follow the delivery instructions to ring door bell/know on door, I won't know that the package is outside my door and will just sit there without me knowing.

I also filed a complaint with Fedx (#[protected]) on 09/10/22 in regards to delivery instructions in delivery manager not being followed and noted in complaint future food deliveries would come. When they redelivered tracking # [protected] on 09/14/22 the package was damaged and again delivery instructions wasn't followed.

Just need to update complaint. For tracking # [protected] the email I received from Fedx on 09/10/22 that package was delayed, I typed the wrong date in the complaint. The email informed me, the package would arrive on 09/11/22 not 09/12/22. That's why I had to call GA Foods to inform them my package was delayed. If the package arrived on 09/11/22 the Food would have been defrosted and couldn't be put in the freezer.

FedEx Delivery

I'm at 10625 Major Ave Chicago Ridge, Illinois.

This is a on going problem with federal express drivers.

This is a apartment building. Driver leaves boxes in front of door in lobby. This door leads to the tenants apartments. Tenants cannot get out of the building using front entrance. Cannot open the door because federal express leaves the boxes in front of door. Tenants has to use the back entrance, to go to front entrance to move box blocking door. This is also against fire department regulations. Door cannot be blocked so tenants can get out in case of fire.

Desired outcome: Lobby is big. Do not leave packages in front of door, so tenants can get out. Use common sense.

FedEx Total loss / damage of computer

On 09/08/2022, I shipped my laptop via FEDEX from the location of Office Depot located at 121 Willow Lane in McDonough, Georgia.

My company received the laptop on 09/10/22. They emailed me with photos of my laptop along with the horrible damage. A FEDEX employee purposely removed the laptop from the packaging, removed parts from the laptop, took the henge off the laptop as well as wires removed from the back of it. All of this damage has caused my device to be totally inoperable or repairable.

The FEDEX packaging was totally destroyed as well. It was ripped open like an animal! As the photos will show the excessive damage to the laptop and the outside packaging. Whomever did this has no regard for the property of others.

I called FEDEX immediately to report this matter.

The entire laptop is destroyed, irreparable and worthless. The tracking number is 5779. Photos attached.

Desired outcome: Full reimbursement for the purchase of a new laptop ($1200.00) Security level software ($200.00) and Windows 11 ($110.00) both purchased separately and installed at a separate cost. Unable to work due to the loss of my laptop.

FedEx Stolen package

My business sent valuable antiques to a customer who was going to display them in an English castle. They were shipped in an 8 foot long wooden crate. It arrived in the UK and was awaiting customs clearance, however, FedEx never even presented it to customs. They claimed it was prohibited and would be returned to me, but that is not true because I have imported and exported this same type of item many times and I have confirmed that there are no laws prohibiting them. Then they said it was prohibited by FedEx, however, that was not true either because the items in the shipment had originally been shipped to me by FedEx internationally. Then the package disappeared entirely. How do you lose an 8 foot long wooden crate that is in a locked and secured cage that only FedEx and UK Customs has access to? Obviously you don't, so that means there is no question that FedEx stole it. It is the third high value package that FedEx has stolen from my business and they don't do anything about it. FedEx is a criminal organization and needs to be investigated and prosecuted

Desired outcome: I need to have these rare and valuable 400+ year-old antiques recovered and delivered to the purchaser or safely returned to me.

FedEx FedEx Drivers

Please inform your drivers who service Tryon Road in Utica, NY not to use customer's driveways to turn around. The FedEx vehicles are too heavy for asphalt driveways and when the FedEx drivers use a driveway to turn their vehicles, they gouge-up the customer's driveway. Tryon Road is a Dead-End street and only two short blocks long. At the end of Tryon is a large Turn-Around for snow plows, so there's absolutely no reason for a FedEx driver to use a customer's driveway.

PATHETIC company! An embarrassment to a USA born organization with zero accountability.

PACAKAGE STILL MIA, AND NOTHING FROM FED EX. CALL THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE, AND YOU CANT UNDERSTAND ANYTHING THEY SAY SINCE IT IS OUTSOURCING TO ANOTHER THIRD WORLD COUNTRY.

FedEx Lying about attempted delivery

I had been tracking a package for delivery on 10 Sept 2022, Saturday. I received notice that a delivery was attempted at 3:08 pm. I was sitting next to my door at that time and no delivery attempt was made. Additionally, no delivery attempt slip was left at my door or mailbox. I called customer service and demanded that package be left at my door even if I am not home. This appears to be an ongoing problem. GPS should be tracking each "delivery" attempt.

Desired outcome: Refund for the expedited delivery I paid to receive by 10 Sept, Saturday.

FedEx Driver cannot follow instructions TO PUT INSIDE GATE

I have called you 4 tiimes/written one letter and several emails now about a continuing I am having & I want it CORRECTED. I even asked the last 2 calls to have the Boss in Fresno to call me - they said he would but NO CALL returned.

I am a handicapped 78 year old Lady - my gate is 1/4 mile from the house. I ask all packages be left inside my gate - UPS NEVER FAILS ME - but no matter how many times I ask this of you THE PACKAGE IS LEFT JUST OUTSIDE THE GATE In full view to be ripped off. The last time from the same sender - my neighbor stopped a guy in the act of picking up the packages worth $300.00 so

I got lucky. Do your drivers not understand " WHAT PUT INSIDE THE GATE MEANDS?" Very simple instead of dropping it at the locked gate - all they have do it put it over the gate very simple to understand!

The last delivery from this same vendor - she called me to say it would be delivered that day - I HAD THE GATE WIDE OPEN SO THE DRIVER COULD DRIVE IN BUT NO HE LEFT IT SIT OUT FRONT AND THAT IS WHEN MY NEIGHBOR STOPPED THE MAN FROM PICKING UP THE 2 BOXES. What is wrong that they cannot follow instruction or are too LAZY TO DRIVE UP AND DELIVER - after all isn't that their job?

FedEx Service I'm Complaining about-Delivery

This is the most Basic Service there is and its what Fed Ex is Supposed to do! So why can't people in Phoenix, AZ get them to do it? Well lets start with them selling out their customer service to India making filing an actual complaint a joke. And I'm not being racist, they don't understand because they Live In India! They Speak whatever number of languages they have there, they live according to their Values and Norms, which they should! But it makes it impossible to get anything done just like it would if I were sitting in my Apt. in Phoenix trying to deal with their companies and their delivery service. So how did something so Basic to Business get so lost on the American Business?

Desired outcome: I would like to be able to order my OTC Medical Supplies with some security that they will actually be delivered to me, undamaged.

FedEx Delivery

I ordered a package and waited for days for it to arrive. I live in an apartment and receive packages daily because I run a small business from home. The driver decided NOT to leave my package which required no signature and took back to the facility which is 47 miles away from me. I called customer service and although apologetic, it does not make things better. The explanation was that I live in an apartment and the package could not be left. Well, I literally had a package delivered 2 days prior from Fed X and it was left on my doorstep. Fed X runs a business and so do I! I expect things to be delivered when said as do my customers. Package should not have been returned and I blame the driver. I will go out of my way to only receive packages via USPS or UPS. Afterall, never had an issue with either of them, just Fed X.

FedEx Insurance settlement

I shipped a bronze statue to a customer and somewhere along the line Fedex completely destroyed both the box and statue as well as the marble base but still delivered it. This was my first claim to FedEx I sent FedEx all the required photos showing the deplorable condition of the box & damaged statue and added a copy of the Etsy invoice showing what the buyer paid but I only received a settlement check for $148.49 because I forgot to mark the box that asks how much the item is worth. Why did FedEx not contact me asking for this info or at least why did a prompt not come up telling me that this field is required like they did with other fields I almost forgot to fill?

Because the statue is valued at $895 I insured it for that amount and like an honest merchant, I immediately refunded the entire amount of $895 plus tax to the customer but I am saddened and furious that a large, rich company like FedEx can get away with cheating a struggling woman owned company like mine of her rightful settlement. The person at customer service number was of no help at all.

Desired outcome: Please refund the correct insured amount of $895.00 plus 48.49 shipping I paid plus an apology.

FedEx Parcel delivery

I refer to a delivery tracking #[protected], I received a text informing me that this would be delivered 31/8/22 and had to be signed for, iwaited all day 31/8/22 no one came no one contacted me as to what happened. Thursday 1/9/22 I had to go out before I left at 10am I collected letters from my letter box, when I returned at 11.30am your driver had left a sorry we missed you card in my letter box dated 31/8/22 10.28am. By the way he did not have correct tracking # on card last 2 letters unreadable. Iheaded into fedex carrington to pick up my parcel 30km round trip, I was informed that it was at a newsagent 10km west of my home in cameron pk, when I got there your driver was there sweet karma I fronted him about not ever coming on31/8/22 as arranged by text by you, but instead leaving a card in my letterbox 1/9/22 with the day before date he immediatly claimed it was not him, that he was of that day, if you check this item has been claimed to have been delivered at 4.36pm 31/8/22 & acard left in my letter box 10.28am telling me to pick item up. Do the maths your drivers a liar

FedEx Recovery collections department sending a letter requesting I update my credit card for a declined payment

I received a letter from Fed Ex, P.O. Bo 371461 in Pittsburgh, PA [protected] stating that they recently sent me an invoice and letter advising that the credit card listed on my FedEx account declined payment for a shipment that I charged to that account. I did not open an account with FedEx and I have not made any recent shipments. Someone recently stole my credit card information forcing me to cancel that card. They have been ordering things on Amazon in my name, ordering things on Chewy, etc.

The letter claims that my account number is [protected]. Belinda verified that it was connected to my name but I never set up that account. The letter requests that I update my credit card data which I have no intention of doing. the url provided was http://www.fedex.com/us/account/fbo and is not an https url.

I called Customer Service and spoke to Belinda and then John who transferred me to the fraud department. After 40 minutes on hold, I was connected to the survey and then the call was terminated.

Desired outcome: I would like this to be settled, my good name cleared and the fraud investigated. I will not be updating my credit card information for a shipment I never made. Please help resolve this.

FedEx Failed to deliver package on time

I am Dr Lila Cherry. I am a Lymphoma patient. My son mailed me my Immunotherapy Capsule from Houston to Lufkin where I reside. I will be scanning in the tracking receipt which shows that the package which was mailed on 9/1 and should reach Lufkin on 9/2 When I did not receive it on 9/2 I called and talked to customer service. They said they can track it and can have it delivered on 9/3. I called 3 times over the course of 9/2 and 9/3. Even though the automatic message said it will be delivered late evening on Tue the customer service Reps continued to give false reports to me as well as my son. Fed Ex in houston gave false information to my son. Otherwise he will not have chosen Fed Ex for mailing my packet. My son as well as I were given false information by Fed Ex customer service. Hence my filing of this complaint. Please look into this matter and I need a resolution.

dear fedex, you are the absolute worst delivery service ever. you suck.

i have been waiting on a package for 4 days . each day fedex sends me a message saying it will be delivered today , but no show. i want my package. if had a chose of witch carrier to use it surely would not be fedex. this is not the first time this happened, many of my deliveries are delayed with fedex.

Desired outcome: i would like an apology and an answer as to why this continues to happen

FedEx An item that was stolen

On August 5th at 3:35pm, FedEx delivered a 65” Samsung tv at my address at 1411 McMaster Dr Myrtle Beach SC. I have a security system with cameras and could see the driver put the box just inside my open garage door. It was open with stacks of boxes and paper from moving into our new home.

The driver went back inside the truck and that was the end of the video. My Wi-Fi system went down for about 10 minutes and when it came back on the tv was gone. I believe the driver pulled out of view and disconnected my system for just the right amount of time to drive back into my driveway and take the tv, and then turned the system back on and left.

I filled a police report and they are trying to get some video from a neighbor. And will try to get prints from the removed top covering the circuitry.

This is the only possible explanation that makes since. I have written this tv off and don’t expect to get it back. But, I think it’s worth your time to look at this individual to see if any other incident’s have taken place.

FedEx Lying about attempted delivery

Because my front office is closed because of Labor day being on Monday, I decided to sit down there to catch the delivery driver. No one ended up coming to the door, I just saw the FEDEX truck drive right past without stopping. When I checked the tracking information the driver had marked it as "Customer Not Available or Business Closed", that is NOT true AT ALL. I was there, the driver just never made an attempt, they never even got out of their truck.

Desired outcome: I would like some sort of compensation for this, I sat in the lobby of my building since 8AM waiting for that delivery!

I have had the same type of experience. Stayed home and by the front door to catch the driver. No person ever stopped or came up the driveway. I also got the notification that a delivery attempt was made when they did not

FedEx Adam at fedex on cottle road

Hi

On 9/3/22 at 550 pm. (And I’m really hoping that you can refer back to any surveillance you may have in your store) just so you’re aware about your employee Adam. This is twice that I have been to your location on cottle rd while he happened to be working. He’s very rude to customers in the way he explains things and talks to us. Which is ok -you could have a bad day and I understand that. However, today I went in at about 550pm rushing from work to return an item. I walk into your store at 5:52. Only to hear Adam huffing and puffing about how they’re going to close in 8 minutes and if I knew that? Yes, obviously I do know that because it says you close at 6pm?

I don’t see what the problem was if I made it way before closing time. Obviously he was inconvenienced. You should be helping your customers regardless if it is 6 o’clock or not. Whoever is in the building by 6 o’clock. But anyway I didn’t say anything I was waiting in line and told him ‘yes I know’.

The lady in front of me was returning shoes. Adam grabs the boxes she brought in and throws them behind him. Which is the same thing he did to me the first time I came in. And throwing the box as an inconvenience not explaining to me that that’s not needed to make a return.

It wasn’t until the third customer who now walked in behind me that he starts complaining even more. He’s talking to himself which we can clearly hear in the lobby area. Saying things like ‘oh no great they all have to come in at the last minute. This is a weekday thing- not a weekend thing, so annoying’. If you’re going to think that’s yourself that’s one thing but if you’re really going to stand there and verbalize it about irritated you are of your customers? That’s not right. Makes me not want to ever go to your store again. Your employee is ‘So annoyed’ With the customers coming in maybe he fails to realize that it’s your ‘customers’ that are keeping your location open. If it wasn’t for our business he wouldn’t have any business, or a job.

This Has to be the worst service I’ve ever received at a FedEx. And I don’t know how he’s getting these great reviews on your site? This is the second time I have dealt with this man on two separate occasions. Horrible customer service he should not be working with the public. I doubt that you guys will even say anything to him or mention this to him or probably can care less. I could’ve mentioned this to him myself and embarrassed him. However, I’m returning a package I need to make sure that that package gets returned and nothing ‘coincidently’ happens to my items.

If your employees aren’t happy with their job they should not be working in customer service.

FedEx Packages not delivered!

I was supposed to get two packages on 09/02/2022 between 7:50 am and 12:25 pm. I waited all day with windows open so I would not miss delivery. At 8:00pm, I received two emails saying package could not be delivered as no one was home! Driver DID NOT attempt delivery! I was on the front porch! One package requires an adult signature, one does not. If driver attempted delivery, one would assume package not requiring signature would have been delivered! No attempt was made! I normally get my packages before noon, but lately they are being delivered late in the day. New driver? This is unacceptable!

Desired outcome: Deliver my packages in a timely manner!

FedEx Delivery to wrong house

Reference FedEx shipment [protected]. This was delivered to my neighbor's house instead of mine. My neighbor brought it to me, so it is not missing. I just wanted the company to know this occurred. I tried the online virtual assistant, which proved to be useless as there is not enough typing space to answer the questions fully. I did receive a delivery email, but as I said it went to the wrong house. this occured on September 2, 2022. The delivery was recorded by FedEx at 4:16 PM. Since I now have the package, this is for the delivery manager's information only.
