Expedia Hotel booking

I made a reservation for the night of 15 September at the best Western in Leland North Carolina my name is Alan Coomber, I have contacted the hotel to cancel my reservation but they tell me they can’t do it because it was booked through Expedia Expedia can’t help me because I can’t tell them itinerary number the reason I can’t tell them the itinerary numbers because I’ve never received an email telling me my itinerary number. I’ve done everything I can to cancel within the allotted time and spent two weeks trying to do this. I will not be charged for this hotel reservation please cancel it with immediate affect thank you

Expedia refund

We have a complaint regarding our refund status. We have been waiting for 8 months and consistently asking for our money back only to receive unhelpful answers. This is a ridiculous amount of time to wait for 2 simple refunds. We are extremely displeased and will have to go to a debt collector or a lawyer if this matter is not resolved soon. Furthermore I will be posting my highly negative experience on travel sites as well as social media. Would appreciate a timely response and solution to the matter.

Expedia Holland cruises

We bought tickets for a cruise to Alaska for my wife myself a friend and his mom. The site stated that no covid vaccines where required to travel if cruise started after Sept 6th. Our cruise was to start Sept 11th. Hours after we paid we received an email from Holland stating all had to be fully vaccinated. We were given no information about exemptions. After extensive research we found that out on our own. By the time we got the paperwork together and called to file for an exemption they told us it was too late. They said they needed 5 days to process it. Only option left was to cancel. Out of 1400 dollars they kept 900 dollars. Port fees alone were 604 {that we will never enter}. Very misleading take our money then send us an email only to keep 900 dollars is thievery how do these crooks sleep at night. If there are requirements, they should be in bold letters before they take our money not in an email after you have taken our money. I get it had you made it before we would not have booked the trip and you would not have been able to steel 900 dollars from us how many others have they ripped off like this. I would be willing to guess it to be in the millions. Sincerely feeling ripped off.

Desired outcome: I would like to be reimbursed all the moneys we were cheated out of by this scam. As well as for issues of this nature be addressed before taking moneys from hard working people.

Expedia Itinerary #[protected] travel date 7/24/22

Itinerary #[protected] booked by Expedia for Kim Ann Ruggiero, Maria Zenon Park, Jorge Alberto Zenon Vilchis, and Luis Roberto Zenon Vilchis all adults (4) was booked from JFK to Mexico City which we also had Flight Protection Insurance on Viva Aerobus Flight 101.

Upon check in at JFK to check in 3 of us were booked as adults and 1 was booked as a child. FEE $1280.77 $387.57 per ticket plus $88 flight protection Plan.

I was forced to purchase another adult ticket in the amount of $463.74 because Aerobus said they could not rectify the situation because you (EXPEDIA) had booked my original flight as noted above. I wish to be reimbursed the $463.74 for the unused ticket of $409.79 as I had to purchase another ticket last minute at the airport.

Expedia I book a night at a hotel in Vancouver and the hotel was awful. I felt unsafe and it was dirty.

Accommodation at Travelodge by Wyndham Vancouver Airport on September 3. The accommodation was dirty and old, with broken lampshades and dirty bathroom walls, and I felt unsafe. They use the hotel as a homeless shelter. From the picture on the internet, it looked like a decent hotel. I paid $530 per night, and it is a misrepresentation. I tried to cancel the accommodation at the hotel, but the hotel did not allow any cancellation. I tried to book a different hotel in the area, but no compromise was available.

Desired outcome: I would like to have a refund for the night's accommodation.

Expedia Cancellation on air fare on itinerary # [protected] July 25, 2022

Booked flights through Expedia on July 25, 2022, and paid extra for cancellation

insurance a family tragedy came up and had to cancel the flights,

got a credit for Air Canada in route to New York but nothing coming back

on WestJet not even a credit. paid extra for nothing and Expedia works with

partners but will not stand behind their policy.

Expedia Not returning refund of unused flight or letting me book a flight of the same amount

[protected] itinerary, Booking ID 3I4X3P, Ticket # [protected].

It was Toronto to Bombay and return via London. Due to covid policy at the time, British airways did not allow Indian nationals to transit through UK for the return journey. I had to cancel the return leg of the flight. I have been calling since Nov 2021 with multiple calls for the past 9 months and now Expedia says the moeny is forfeited. British airways at the time was giving 2 years of flexibility to re-book using credit, however Expedia gave only 1 year from booking date. Expedia insisted I need to travel on the same journey but British Airways were flexible. Since I had booked the ticket from Expedia, British Airways said Expedia decides and conveys information. Now Expedia calls after 9 months and leaves a message the money is forfeited! It's unfair and unethical. I would like my refund or the flexibility to book another trip with the same credit.

Expedia Cheap tickets by expedia

I booked a ticket for my sister on June 18th, 2022 for a round trip flight on August 15th and returning on October 29th, 2022. I paid $453.70 and another $40 for trip protection. Unfortunatly, we had to cancel the flight due to an unforseen circumstance with my sister. When I called to cancel, they told me I could not get a refund but that I would have a credit for the amount of $453.70 that she would be able to use if scheduled within a year.

Today I called to schedule a one way ticket for her. I looked on the Expedia website to see what flights were available for October 19th, 2022. When I called customer service and told her which flight we had decided, your representative was very helpful. The cost of the one way flight was $269, and as had the representative whom I cancelled with had explained that we would have a credit for the difference in price, so did the rep today explain.

The representative proceeded to let me know that she would put me on hold so she could schedule the flight. I waited 20 minutes and to my surprise, she informed me that the price for that ticket was actually $389 and not the $269 that was listed on your website. When I asked her to explain the reason, she sounded confused herself. I could hear someone was directing her on the background. She then told me to try again in a few days because the price will probably go down. I am very upset with this turn of events. I have been buying my tickets through your company for many years now and actually this is the first time I had to cancel a flight.

Expedia Hotel booking

I scheduled a trip to Lexington Park-California MD to stay at a Holiday Inn through Expedia, Aug24-27. The Expedia website said I could change my plans through Aug 23 6PM. I called their customer service and requested a change before that time. They said to wait and call back on Aug 26 when I checked out, which was during my travel time. Now they tell me I can't get a refund. The hotel said Expedia could have changed my stay dates on their end and that the hotel couldn't do it themselves. So now I am out $140. for a night I didn't stay.

Desired outcome: I would like a refund from Expedia for my night I didn't stay.

Expedia Receive a transaction to my card expedia [protected] expedia.com wa

Hello

I was planning to use expedia to book a hotel room, but as I was giving my credit card information, after I accept the booking , a pop up came out saying that the room was taking and wasnt available.

However, I receive a payment transaction EXPEDIA [protected] EXPEDIA.COM WA on my credit card of $111.87.

I would like to you to review and make the proper refund if the transaction was made, because the booking wasnt made.

Expedia Hotel booking overcharge

I was charged one amount on Expedia for a hotel booking and when I received the bill from the hotel upon checkout saw that it was $125.60 less! I feel I am entitled to a refund. Customer service is nonexistent! I will be sure to tell everyone I know and everyone on social media what a terrible company this is! The chat rep gave me some line about that's what their charged at the time. How does this site offer any convenience to customers? It doesn't and just keeps the overcharged money

Expedia Lufthansa Flight to Malta

In 2021, I had to cancel a September 2021Lufthansa flight from Frankfurt to Malta due to COVID. The flight was reserved via Expedia. The flight was finally successfully cancelled and we were given credit by Lufthansa. This was a round trip flight.

In 2022, I made a subsequent Lufthansa flight reservation via Expedia. The flight was to depart Frankfurt on 27 October 2022, Lufthansa flight LH1310 with a 1355 departure and an arrival time of 1625 in Malta. This was a business class flight with seats 8C and 8D being assigned to my wife and me. The flight had to be in the afternoon as we were arriving in Frankfurton on a morning flight.

According to Lufthansa, Expedia changed our 2022 flight to Malta from 27 October to 9 September 2022. I contacted an Expedia representative who acknowledged Expedia was the responsible party who made the change and she would coordinate with Lufthansa on the matter so the flight information could be corrected back to 27 October 2022.

I am very concerned about this issue and wish to have Expedia immediately correct it.

could you please re attach my flight credit from quants to my account

went to use yesterday and it was not compatible with there sister company jetstar so today i wish to make booking and its not there

please can you return them to my account as i wish to make a booking

And you company has given me the run round due to not being able to make contact with anyone in this country to sort the matter out

this has been happening with my credit for a while they will appear and then next visit to your site they aren't there

just need them to make my booking

Expedia Expedia won't refund my money not credit per directions from united airlines

today is 08/21/2022, I talked to expedia about my flight credits in 2020 which I have been pursuing since the trip was cancelled Sept 25, 2020. I bought a package for 2 and ended up canceling due to unforeseen circumstances. I purchased this with my own money and after the credits were issued, my partner and I went our separate ways. since then, I have been trying to get expedia and United Airlines (UA) to change the credit to my name solely since i purchased them and we no longer have need for it.

UA directly and specifically said it can be done and were about to do so and realized it's a bulk purchase, hence expedia has to change my ex's credits back to my name since I got those tickect and were under my account.

i went back to expedia several times for them to tell me its impossibel. how is that impossible if the airline says it's possible?

in the end they just want to keep the money and not honor it even though UA has specifically said it can be done.

now I don't know why expedia is refusing to make that change and the agents straight up tells me "It's your loss" like they don't give a [censored] about my issue.

I have been dealing with this issue since 2020 and still on it. they clearly know that I cannot use it hence do not care.

I asked to speak with a manager and was denied that options too.

Expedia Flight change

I booked 2 tickets on Expedia to fly with Lufthansa from LAX-FRA-HAM. I booked a higher priced ticket since my mother has medical issues and it says I can change the date if I pay the price difference if the airline has a different price for the dates selected.

The original price was $2,320.74 for two tickets.

I requested a date change via Expedia and found 4 flights with price differences of $83.90 per ticket and 20+ flights with $100 price difference and of course many others with $200-350 per ticket.

ANY flight I selected with the price difference of $83.90 or $100 per ticket gave me an error to contact Expedia.

The moment I contact Expedia, they were telling me ONLY flights with $300+ per ticket are available.

If I would book a flight with the exact same airline on exactly the same dates I asked to change my flight to, the price differentiates by $83.90-$100.

But Expedia wants $600-$800 for both tickets to be changed... even thought I bought a MORE EXPENSIVE ticket to avoid any UP-CHARGES. Now Expedia does exactly that!

Expedia's customer service is also more than capable since COVID and the ability to find a super-visor to help any further is impossible. The only solution Expedia offers a call back from a supervisor within 24-48 hours... and you never hear back.

Desired outcome: Charge only the difference of the flight the airlines charges and don't just up the price as wanted.

Expedia Expedia rental car booking

I booked a rental car through expedia on August 8. The next day I tried to add a day but could not so I reached out to expedia through the online chat.

The agent said she could not add a day but I could cancel and rebook. I told her no because I would lose my great rate and I would keep the reservation as is.

The agent came back and said she apologized but she accidentally cancelled my reservation when trying to make a change and expedia charged me the $100 cancellation fee. She could do nothing about it. Nor could she add my reservation back. Which means I lost my great deal on the car too.

I chatted with another agent who said she put in a request to refund the full amount since it was their agent's fault. Two days later after no refund, I called and the agent in customer service said it would be refunded in two days. No refund. I left a message at expedia corporate office. No return call. I am now disputing with my credit card company. To make matters worse. I did lose my great rate and the car is now costing $200 more plus the $100 expedia kept for their mistake.

If this were in any way my fault I would admit it but it was 100% an inept agents fault and she did nothing to help correct it. Terrible company and I would suggest booking straight through the rental car company and not risking such horrible business practices. It may cost more but at least you have some recourse and customer service!

Desired outcome: The right thing would be returning my $100 they basically stole from me at the very least. If they were a good company they would also credit the $200 difference my car is now costing in cash or expedia credit.

Expedia Canceled hotel room

Booked a hotel on skopelos island Greece on 7/2/22. Arrived after a 4 hour ferry ride at 8:30pm only to find out that the reservation had been canceled by the hotel. Hotel manager showed me the 2 emails sent to Expedia canceling my room one dated 7/4/22 the other dates 7/11/22. Customer service was hard to get a hold of then the person was very hard to understand she wanted to argue that the hotel didn’t cancel the reservation even though the hotel showed me the emails. After 1 1/2 hours trying to find myself and my 2 teenagers a room she tells me she can’t find a room on the entire island apologizes and hangs up. So I was stuck on an island with no more ferry service and no place to stay. Luckily my travel agent in New York was able to find us a house to rent on Booking.com

Desired outcome: Some kind of a future credit for my time aggravation and the cost of renting the house

Expedia Expedia travel service

Expedia has a hotel on it's site that is unsafe to stay at. The Econo Lodge in South Holland, IL.

Disgusting room conditions. First red flag was the front desk was behind bulletproof glass! Rooms at this location are crack house conditions! After walking into the room and walking around the room with my jaw on the floor I did not unload my items. Holes in the flooring, Desk chair to disgusting to use with purposeful burn holes in the upholstery. Sappy residue on the night stands. Burn holes in the comforter. The bathroom was like what you see in a horror film! NO WAY! Instead, I returned to the desk and said I couldn't stay in this room. I had to arrange for a different stay.

I complained to Expedia! I told them that they should not have this property on their site! They tried to get my money back. The messages to this place went unreturned for a week and then they refused to refund my pre-paid two night stay. Expedia then also refused to act any further on this matter.

DO NOT use Expedia for any travel service!

Desired outcome: Expedia should remove this property from their website. The punishment should be to refund my payment that I spent to Expedia.

Expedia Charged twice for flights

I booked international flights for 2 adults one way and paid by credit card as per Expedia directions when booking. I found the next morning 2x payments had been taken for $807.00 totalling $1,614.00. The same day another $1,614.00 payment for the same flights appeared on my credit card and bank account. I have tried contacting Expedia via their website and virtual chat line and all I get is it dose not recognise my flight booking, flight ID no, email or phone number. I have lodged a dispute with my bank as well. This is poor service from Expedia and frustrating when wanting a simple answer as to why I have been charged twice and request a refund.

Desired outcome: Please refund the payment taken without authorisation
