I went to the Westunion Dollar Tree, to pick up a few items, went ahead and bought my detergent with my boyfriend's bank card. He was there with me. When I used the detergent the next morning after buying it my boyfriend noticed that it didn't look right so he asked me we looked at it and it was diluted with a lot of bubbles it was so watered down it wa...

Dollar Tree Over all store

I live in Tacoma, WA. And I go to a lot of your stores, so I am not complaining because it only happened once. 2 of your stores are just filthy, disgusting stores, one of them is off of 38th st. And the other is off of 72nd st. The floors have black gooey stuff all over floors and it's been there for at least a year. The shelves have never been straightened out, you can never find what you're looking for. This is only a couple of things, there are a lot more. The employees are rude, etc. Now I know some customers are just messy not putting things back and are rude but they can't blame them for everything. Most people won't go in. Please do something.

Terri Jerome

Desired outcome: Clean up and get better people in there

Dollar Tree Customer service

Dollar Tree Store #2061
4623 Bob Odom Dr.
Zachary LA 70791
[protected]
Time of incident: 12:23 PM
Date of incident: 2/4/2023

I’m an elderly woman recovering from a tracheotomy. It’s difficult to maneuver through the store and check out under normal conditions. The manager of the store chose to restock the store on Saturday morning and most of the aisles were blocked by merchandise and employees. Despite the fact that I saw about 7 employees stocking, only one was assigned to check out customers. She was doing her best, but there was a long line waiting for service, and I was fearful that I might have to leave the store due to breathing difficulties. Then a second line opened and I moved into it. When there was one person in front of me, I realized I forgot hand sanitizer (stocking had blocked the aisle previously) and went to get it, leaving my basket in the line with my selections and phone. I hurried to the nearby aisle and when I returned, the clerk had returned to stocking, leaving the lone checker and her long line of customers. I thought she’d return, as she could see me, but she ignored me, until I asked for a manager. Then she ran over. When the manager arrived, he was annoyed that I had complained, telling me that the clerk was a stocker who only “helped out” with checking. When I explained my physical condition and health concern, he sarcastically wished me a nice day.

Desired outcome: Want someone in corporate to explain that employees have a job because of customers. Stores should make it easy for them to purchase merchandise.

Dollar Tree Poor management

HI,

I was in your store today and had one of the worst and longest wait times in my history with the dollar tree. The cashier which is an elderly woman took exactly two minutes to open each and every bag before even beginning to ring out anyone's order. It may not seem like a lot of time but when you have 6 customers in front of you 2x6 is 12 minutes just for her to open the bags.

After about 5 minutes I noticed an employee going to the office area and asked if there might be another cashier around to cash us out, she looked at me and shrugged her shoulders and was let inside the office. Another 5 minutes went by and 3 employees came out and went their separate ways. The Manager Rosa however did open up a new register but in my opinion that was 5 minutes too late. Once she was told that there were customers waiting, she should have been out there ready to check them out.

And what is the deal with all the employees playing Rap music when they are stocking the shelves? I was always taught that if you are at work, you work, not dance and sing as the hours go by.

Over the years I have been a manager of both a store and a restaurant and I have to tell you if I managed either one of them in the way this store is being managed, I would have been fired ASAP.

#1 Rule, if you want to succeed in business customer service always comes first.

I doubt if my feedback will make a difference but I thank you so much for your time

Pat

On Sunday, 01/29/2023, I was in Dollar Tree located at 555 Larkfield Road, East Northport.  I purchased a package of Craisins dried cranberries among other items.  According to the website tax. ny.gov dried fruit including Craisins are exempt from sales tax.  When I questioned both Robert (Manager) and Jason (Cashier) about the sales tax on food items, they...

Dollar Tree Management complaints from the dollar tree cloquet Minnesota

I’m Barb Loisel I was a opening cashier durning the Christmas holiday of 2022 I had just started at the Cloquet Minnesota store at 1301 Hwy 33 South the Manager of the store is Vanessa & assistant manager Annette not knowing the last names of both of them it started on my first day of employment I was shadowing a very awesome young cashier after a while she asked me if I felt comfortable to be on the till by myself with her behind me I answered her yes we the next day and from that day on I was the only one at the register, durning the Christmas rush I had customers backed up all the way down the aisle I sometimes got the assistant manager to come up front, but not always, I had customers ask me if I was the only cashier I had to tell them I tried to get her to come up Annette I’m talking about the manager when I worked with her she had always come up and never yelled at me in front of customers I felt very uncomfortable when I was being yelled at and being be littled I’m a senior citizen I went to work there for just to help out at the store because I know they can’t keep employees not enough in the store, there was another elderly employee that was there also when I was punching out Annette was yelling at him for things that she shouldn’t of been yelling at him in front again at the register the day I quite was enough I couldn’t t take it any more I was very busy the last day I was there, I was just punching out on the register Annette came up behind me started yelling again because the little red $ sign was showing at that time on the register it couldn’t of been in the register earlier because I would of seen it because a cashier always have to look up when doing a transaction it just happen at the end I told her it wasn’t there before, but that didn’t do anything she made me feel bad again I front of customers two of the customers were my sister in laws and another employee was putting things away behind me when I was getting yelled at, but at this time it was both Vanessa & Annette yelling at me because of the red $ sign I followed them both into the office sat down with both of them, my heart racing I then knew I was in for it I sure was got yelled at again in the office from both of them with customers still near the office could hear them, Vanessa then handed me a write up sheet for me to sign because of the red $ sign they both wouldn’t listen to me at the time we’ll I finish counting my money down I was really nervous I couldn’t think straight, when Annette was making fun of me that I couldn’t think of how much money I was to giver her she then yelled again, that’s when I looked at Vanessa and I told her I’m done, I’m not taking this from her any more I walked out. My husband and I have gone back into the store the next day, Annette was there at the front I went past her to get valentine’s Day cards for our grandchildren she gave me an awful look I really again felt uneasy, I couldn’t get out of the store any faster & I have another complaint there was one day before Christmas Vanessa called in another cashier because it was right before Christmas I was only working for the store 7 days the other cashier was making fun of me because I didn’t know some things I was to ring up to do with a debit card for just food she just smarted off to me infront of customers also the customers kept on rolling their eyes or shaking their heads at her, a lot of the customer said that they would never return to that store the way I was being treated I cried after I got to the back room the way she treated me again, know I can see why they can’t keep employees those ones don’t know how to be respectful, I know I didn’t have to be there I retired four years back, but I really injoyed the job wanting to go in I was working four day out of the week I’m sure I was getting the most hours. I do know Vanessa was having personal problems at home and with herself so I tried to over look that she would tell me in the morning about what was going on with her and her family so I really didn’t want to bother her with what was going on in the store plus she was having a ruff time just being in the store it was starting to get over whelming for her the back room was so packed piled high with boxes that know one could get to, plus she had boxes all over the inside of the store boxes every where near the front entrance of the store the register # 1 is well packed with boxes & store items that you just couldn’t get to it to just put it away well to end this complaint I did get a hold of Julie from Duluth district manager two weeks ago today I sent her a text two days ago I haven’t heard from her as of today 1/27/2023 3:04 PM she talked to me the first time she called me it was nearly over an hour she then Apologize to me for the way I was treated I really don’t know if it has to do with me being a senior citizen but I kept on thinking to my self they will be there also again my name is Barb Loisel from The Cloquet Minnesota Dollar Tree store 1301 Hwy 33 south my Email address is [protected]@gmail.com thanks for letting me write all this, but I’ll still shop there no matter what

Dollar Tree Customer service

I had ordered over 400 teddy bears online for a school fundraiser. The website would not let me deliver them to my house so I had them sent to Store #511 @1601 Penfield Rd Rochester, NY 14625. I was notified that they had arrived, so I went to pick them up. An associate said she would retrieve the boxes, and returned to announce that they were 2 boxes short. I asked what happened as she was already on the phone with her boss. She said it wasn't her problem and that I had to call and set it straight with the online people. I asked why it wasn't their problem because I was forced to have them delivered there. She yelled at me that it isn't her problem. I asked to speak to her manager and she handed me her personal cell phone. The manager had been listening the entire time. I told the manager that they had signed for the delivery, not me so they should be responsible for correcting it. The boxes were clearly marked with orange stickers 1 or ten, 2 of ten ect. but there were only 8 boxes. The manager told me she signed for them. I said ok then she should fix the problem not me. At this point the associate who's phone I was on starts screaming at me that this is why she F...ing hates working here and why she f...ing put in her notice. I said I wasn't even talking to you. She said F... you give me back my phone. I immediately opened my hand and dropped her phone on the checkout belt. She took the phone and screamed at the manger on the other end I f...ing quit. I asked her if she really just said F... you to me and she screamed yes, [censored] you. at this point I decided to leave the store and she had the audacity to ask me to sign a receipt. I of course said no and left. I sat in my car a few minutes then went back inside to ask a cashier for a number to call corporate. She was totally apologetic saying how sorry she was that I had experienced that, but she was new and didn't know where to find the number. Bare in mind that the associate who screamed at me and was so rude to me was still on the phone with the manager who had actually witnessed the entire episode via cell phone. I called corporate who helped me get a refund and gave me the number to file a complaint. The manager has not reached out to me in spite of the fact that she has all of my information on the receiving sheet I wouldn't sign. I realize that retail is difficult, but I am a 60-year-old woman and I am not used to being told to f.. k myself during a $400 transaction at a dollar store. She really needs to be let go so she can pursue a position more suitable to her volatile personality, like prison guard. I am thoroughly disappointed with the Dollar Tree establishment and will not be using them again for my school. I would greatly appreciate a return contact regarding this rediculous situation.

Desired outcome: I would like to know that this associate was removed from her position and I expect some sort of apology from the manager who was actually a party via cell phone.

I am so done with being treated unkind and like a child, not once, not twice, but every time I walk into my local dollar tree store. The manager is unfriendly, rude, demeaning and degrading not only to me, but I understand to other customers also. And she loudly does this in front of others who are in the store. Two days ago, a lady waited out in the...

Dollar Tree Store Quality/Stock

is my dollar tree supposed to look like this? half of the shelves were empty and lots of aisles were blocked by stacks of boxes like these. i’ve been on the hunt for the glass heart valentine’s day jars and i asked a worker if they were in any of the boxes (since the valentine’s day section had maybe 10 products total) and she said “i can’t see through cardboard. i don’t know where the hell those are”. is this common?

i thought with the .25 increase, things may have improved a little, but it was gone WAY downhill.

this was on 1/25/23 at 5434 Ygnacio Valley Rd, Concord, CA 94521

Desired outcome: improved customer service and stocking to happen NOT during business hours. this kind of disorganization is outragious.

I am submitting a complaint against an employee at [store #3858] 30056 Grand River Ave., in Farmington Hills Michigan. A young (African American) male working the cash register appeared to have made a mistake when giving me back incorrect change (as I, our mom and sister purchased items). The young man was very rude and unintelligent. He made false claim...

I have written 3 letters to Dollar Tree General and 1 letter to the City about the condition of the outside of their store. I feel that whenever I drive by that I live in a ghetto. There is trash everywhere, all 3 garbage cans are overflowing, and their employees do not clean it up. Maybe they should just remove the trash cans. Today, January 23 at 2:30...

Store is in shambles, it looks like there was an earthquake and everything got knocked off the shelves which are not stocked and now in heap piles below where they should hang literally! There are few shopping carts because they are filled with items that need to be restocked in the traffic jammed in by the registers. There's debris, thick layers of dust...

Dollar Tree Customer service

Have we stopped saying thank you to customers? Every time I visit the Dollar Tree at 2701 Church Street in Conway, I never get a thank you. Today just topped the worst visit I have ever had. The cashier was filling her mouth full of a chocolate bar while she was ringing up our stuff. When she did talk it was while her mouth was full. This is extremely rude and unprofessional. Me and my wife both work in retail and we are trained that this is not acceptable behavior, not to mention my mother would never let me by with it either. We do not get much better service at the one on Highway 544 in Conway. I am just so disgusted I am done with shopping there. Is this what we have become? Are we so desperate for help that we allow them to do whatever they want to? Is this what we are paying $15 an hour for and now I am paying 25% more than I used to just to get bad service? I have kept my mouth shut too long. Why don't you put in self checkouts and then I can fuss at myself for bad service. Maybe that would put these poorly trained associates out of work.

Dollar Tree Blocked isles

Every time I go into Dollar Tree, doesn't matter what day or time, at least 2 isles are blocked by employees stocking shelves. Today FOUR isles were blocked by employees and carts and boxes. It takes time and gas in my car to go there, and I don't appreciate not being able to get everything I need when I get there. This is 2-3 times a week attempt. It's insane! Why can't the shelf stocking be done after hours so the customers can actually shop there and not be inconvenienced?

Desired outcome: I want employees to stop stocking shelves during business hours

I asked the cashier to put the bleach in a separate bag which I had brought and they did and when I left I realized by the time I got home that I left it so I turned around and went back the cashier and manager both called me crazy and I never retrieved my items. I go to the store all the time I was going to take further action but my daughter convinced me to file a complaint no one should be treated that way

Dollar Tree delapidated store conditions

I would like to make a complaint about the condition of the Monroe, Washington Dollar Tree store (19947 Highway 2, Monroe, WA 98272). This store is absolutely disgusting. Ceiling tiles are discolored and a drip of water fell on my head. There was no caution floor is wet sign out to give warning. The floor is dirty as though it hasn't been swept or mopped in a very long time. Shelves are barely stocked. What is on the shelves is in complete disarray and unorganized. Who is in charge of this store and why do they let it look like this? Over the past year or so I have noticed a steady decline of this store into the current state of deterioration. This store needs urgent attention or close it. I wish I had taken photos, but I don't want to go back. This store is giving a bad reputation for all the other stores.

Desired outcome: Customers deserve a pleasant shopping experience. Please demand employees clean up this store.
