Dell Slow Exchange Process For A New Inspiron 15 Touch Laptop Delivered Non Functional

Never again will I get a Dell. I ordered a computer on Wednesday, 10/6, and my order qualified for next-day delivery. I received it on 10/7 and began setting it up. I soon realized the touchpad (mouse) was not working at all so I attempted to troubleshoot on my own and found that the system didn't recognize that my unit even had a touchpad. I spent an hour on the phone with a technician to troubleshoot my brand new laptop on the day it arrived. Once the rep finally figured out that the unit had a problem, they offered me to service it or exchange it. Of course I picked exchange--no one should service a brand new unit that you barely turned on. The representative told me that I would receive an email in 24-48 hours to tell me the next steps, which was longer than it took to order and receive the brand new unit. I complained and requested my case to be expedited. Since my service call was on a Thursday, imagine my surprise when I did not hear back from Dell about my new computer until the following Monday where a representative told me that my exchange was STILL in progress and I should have a brand new unit in 8-10 days. I lost it. I told the three reps who all called (all foreign) that the Dell website showed that new orders for the laptop I purchased still had next day delivery options, so it made no sense that since Dell sent me a faulty unit, I would have to wait possibly 2 weeks for resolution. I mention that all the reps were foreign because they gave me signs that they really didn't have the authority to escalate, or that this was so common that I was just one of many customers in the same boat. The one who claimed to be a floor supervisor made it appear that maybe it's a shared call center and they don't actually work for Dell. Although all three reps claimed to understand my inconvenience (and not to mention the Dell Cares Twitter account because I complained their too of course), no one was capable of doing anything. Even though Dell took my money and shipped me a broken computer, it was on me to deal with the inconvenience of waiting up to two weeks for them to resolve it...although anyone who wants a new computer (like I once did) can have the unit tomorrow. Just hope that it's a working unit. Even if Dell took your money, they do not care to resolve your issues quickly. Dell will send you a non-functional unit and then wish you luck on getting the issue resolved. Never again. Never again. Never again.

Desired outcome: I want a functional computer. If they can issue a new computer with next day delivery, if the computer they issue isn't functional, Dell should be just as quick to try to resolve the matter.

Dell XPS 13 9380

I have been stuck with this expensive lemon that Dell refused to take back and exchange for one without issues (the call center in India refused to process an exchange) since 2019. It was sent for repairs one time only in 2020 and was returned to me, covered in filthy smudges (during the pandemic) and the power supply cord had a bent end (where it plugs into the computer). After being given the run around by the call center in India, I argued with one of the last people that I spoke with in the India call center, and then, shortly thereafter, someone hacked my husband's financial information and tried to open a line of credit through Dell. I highly suspect that it was the man that I argued with since there is no accountability on that end for consumers being targeted within the United States. Fast forward to 2021 and I still deal with a temperamental computer that now has a battery life of approximately two hours and continues to get so hot that I can't hold it on my lap. Dell used to be a good company but I have nothing but disgust for it now. I have spent a great deal of money with Dell, only to be treated like crap by them. I also have a laptop that is dangerous for me to use (a very expensive laptop) and, if I become injured by this laptop, I WILL SUE DELL FOR EVERY PENNY I CAN GET!

Desired outcome: TAKE BACK THIS FAULTY LAPTOP AND REPLACE IT WITH A SAFE, PROPERLY FUNCTIONING, NEW UNIT

Dell trying to cancel an order

I have contacted Dell a few times about why this order is taking so long to process but every time i ring they say we will get someone to ring you back and that never happens.

I checked the website again today 6th October 2021 and it still hadn't been processed so i rang to cancel the order, all i got was i will get someone to ring you back.

Being able to contact Dell and the Dell Your customer service is terrible.

I want in writing that this order has been cancel. I don't want your product anymore. I will go else were.

Dell Payment Received, Payment Refunded, Payment Received.

I ordered a desktop from dell on August 3rd, 2021. The payment went through on August 4th and then it got refunded on August 16th for no apparent reason. At this time they had given me no notice that my product had been shipped and I received no cancellation email from dell, until over a month later on September 24th when it arrived on my doorstep without warning. I was shocked and confused since they had refunded my payment but had apparently sent it anyways. Then later on September 28th they charged me for the desktop which sent me 744.06 dollars into debt and has put me in quite a bind. I'm getting the regular run around with customer service and they keep hanging up after putting me on hold. TLDR, Dell [censored]ed me over by charging my account at the wrong time and refuses to help.

Desired outcome: Getting my money back? Paying off the debt they sent me into?

Dell Laptop E6320 Battery

Yesterday at around 11:30am I ordered a battery for my Dell Laptop E6320 without any inquiry about them. After a ment I thought that they can be scammers so I emailed them and requested them to cancel my order and return my money. At night after 12 hours they deducted $103.83 from my card and after 10 minutes they told me that my order has been canceled on my request and that my full payment has been refunded. But till now after the passage of 12 hours I haven't received my money back into my account. Kindly ask them. or do something in order grant my money back to me!

Desired outcome: I want my refund money back which they have told me after the cancelation of my order.

Dell DHJ6VZ1

Dell XPS 12, code DHJ6VZ1: Monitor leaks gluey liquid, require allergen details.

The Dell XPS 12 showed gas bubbles moving around the monitor from the corners and edges for several months. Nor it leaks a thicker-than-honey substance from a corner of he monitor. No previous drops nor abuse.

I came into direct contact with this fluid when I unwittingly opened the lid. I require the allergen information on it and kindly request you inform customers that this can happen.

I am writing this to bring to your attention that I am not satisfied above Dell projector lamp and looks like your have sent used Dell replacement lamp hours used 1764 for 1610ND projector bulb.

Today Aug 13, 2021 when my current projector buld was not working, when I replaced the projector buld and saw this bulb is used lamp hours 1764.

Please find the attached picture of lamp hours/invoice.

Dell dell 5400 2 in 1 laptop

Hi Dell
Dell is the makes the best computers in the world' That being said i have purchase 8 dell computers in the past they work great. this email is on a dell computer.
But enter #9 dell computer a 5400 2 in one
8 months old stopped working.
called dell they sent tech to me he had the incorrect parts. I said ok please order correct part. He said NO call dell and left. Called dell they sent return box. sent to Texas 10 returned 2 days later stopped working. Called dell sent box sent it to Tennessee, received it in10 days stopped working in3 day called dell waiting for 3rd box to return .not happy should be replaced

Dell Dell S2721HGF Monitor

Worst company on the planet. Bought a Dell S2721HGF monitor based on reviews. It was $40 more expensive than monitors which had better specifications, but I thought I might get better quality and support because of the brand name. Oh Lord was I wrong. Waited for the new monitor to arrive, and it was DOA. I had no screen at all and no power light. Tried to find how to turn it on on on but no instructions were included. Tried multiple power cables and video cords, including a DisplayPort cable I had to buy separately that every other manufacturer included free. Nothing worked, Dell tech support hung up on me 6 or 7 times - over and over again! Finally got someone (the whole time I am begging them not to hang up again!) who said my monitor was obviously defective and started a return. What they sent out was a refurbished monitor which was obviously worth less money and had a reduced warranty! The worst part was that it also arrived BROKEN. The DisplayPort input was broken inside (the plastic tab) and you could not hook it up to the computer with that cable. Even when using HDMI cables it would often not recognize the input from the video card and just revert to standby mode! Now I have two broken monitors and no computer system. Dell said I have to return the refurbished monitor before they can do anything else - which means making two separate trips to town and I live in the country. They were supposed to send a working monitor when they saw tracking number of first return - but they won't answer my e-mails now. So I still have no working monitor, a broken Dell in my floor (another trip to town to return their 27" giant paperweights), and no word from them regarding my status. They sell junk, and don't sell behind it. Horrible customer service - purposely hanging up on the people that spend their hard-earned money on their scrap. Wish I could give them "0" stars - and that is too good for them! Will never spend another dime on this disgusting company!

Dell Account created for a product Dell now says was out of stock 2wks ago

On July 29th I created a credit account specifically for a Samsung HW-Q950A - Q Series - sound bar system.

1. After randomly checking the status of my order (Today 08/102021), I found that my account was locked for "verification?"

2. I called after going from rep to rep to rep, I finally get my account unlocked.

3. Now(after an added 2hrs) I find that the item I wasted 2wks for (and having to adj. to my credited report) was never in stock? ?

4. This is an issues especially after being on the phone with customer service (at least in name) that basically tells me I've made all my adjustment and risk a negative mark on my good credit to purchase a product that's been falsely advertised as being "in stock"

5. Even worse was the rep, I chatted with, tells me Dell doesn't do bait and switch (parapharsing) but her only resolve as well was to transfer me to Sales to purchase another item of interest (chat conversation saved to the computer)?

Desired outcome: Resolve, if I have to close my account (I'm not up for bait and switch) at least I would have a "business reason" other than an ooops!

Dell Trying to return a keyboard and mouse

I purchased a new Dell Inspiron 7700 and added a keyboard and mouse to the order. The keyboard and mouse do not work correctly and I am trying to return same for credit. The people I connect with that don't speak English say I can't return this item because it is part of the computer, what they can't comprehend is that it is not part of the computer it is a separate item purchased with the computer, but the idiots can't understand this concept. The only way I can return the keyboard and mouse is to return everything including the computer how stupid is that? You really want to give up the whole sale because of a defective keyboard and mouse?

Dell Alienware m17 r4 laptop

I do not know what happened to Dell for a long time they were a reasonable company. I ordered the above laptop on July 5 and with checking updates I was told on July 26th I needed to place a reorder as apparently (I am Guessing at this point) my initial order somehow did not go through so I reorder over the phone and on Aug 5th my order status stated the laptop was shipped. Well turns out today Aug 8th Fedex never received the laptop and through there site only the label had been registered and or created. Today I chatted with a rep from India I suppose and suddenly Dell does not understand the english language because today they informed me that it takes 2 -4 business for the carrier to pickup or they deliver the item which ever it maybe. I informed them you have not shipped the item and no coming from Asia does not qualify. To have shipped the laptop the carrier must have (fed ex) this item, am tempted to cancel the order plain and simple and get another MSI laptop instead however I will
give them tomorrow as that would be 4 business days Nonetheless My experience with Dell has been one hell of a let down and their chat consistently has tried to blow smoke up my rear. This is another example of our politicians failing us by allowing these companies to move offshore and not charging them huge tariffs which would make such moves unprofitable for them.

Dell Laptop

I ordered a LAPTOP from DELL. They delayed delivery 3 times and by then my employer had given me a laptop. The dell laptop has not been opened or used and i have tried to return it and Dell refused to accept it. I have never seen a company that refuses to accept a product back, especially when the package have not been opened or used.

Dell One More Crappy, Albeit Expensive, Product Purchased Through Dell Technologies

This is the second expensive purchase that I made in 2019 through Dell that has proven problematic: Sony XBR55A8G OLED 4K Ultra HD High Dynamic Range (HDR) Smart TV. This television cost approximately $1, 600. in October of 2019 and for the past week it has been acting up and shutting itself off. Less than 2 years old, yet is as unreliable as the expensive XPS 13 9380 ultra laptop that I purchased from Dell for approximately $1, 900. in 2019. The laptop was a lemon from the start, yet Dell's call center in India refused to replace the device. It was shipped to Texas for a shoddy repair job and continues to have problems. Now the Smart TV is going out on us. Dell no longer holds itself to a higher standard and focuses solely on sales and not a replacement/proper repairs to their more expensive product lines. If there is a class-action lawsuit against Dell for these products, I want to add my name to the suit(s).

Desired outcome: Replacement of both laptop and smart tv.

Dell Inspiron laptop

Long time Dell customer, My latest Inspiron worked great the first 3 years, then 1 month after warranty expired 1 key started not working (required more force than the others to work) then 2, 3, 4 etc... I contacted Dell and they told me $400 to replace the keyboard, which is about half what I paid for it to begin with. I have a 10 year old dell that the keys work better than this one. Also nothing has been spilled on it, really disapointed with Dell quality, they're prices go up and quality goes down.

Desired outcome: I would like my keyboard fixed, they should last longer than 3 years!!!

You are trying to move money around by using customers names and email. I wanted to buy a new copy machine, but I'll be dam when you charging me $4.47 for monthly subscription. I never agree to this.
