Days Inn No hot water

I checked in today (12/4/22) at the Days Inn in College Park, Maryland. I have contacted the front desk and indicated that there is not HOT water. I was told there is nothing that can be done. I asked to be moved to another room and was told they cannot do that. This is unhealthy environment being 6 months pregnant and scheduled at this hotel for 3 nights. It is clear I am being unfairly treated because I am African American.

I am requesting a full refund to find another hotel. I can be reached on [protected] (cell). I will report this to the Prince George's Health department in the morning. I am exhausted and unable to clean my body with no hot water in the bathroom.

I am awaiting your call to address this awful situation.

Days Inn Pricing and customer service

On 11/30/2022 at 2 pm, I got online to make a reservation for the Days Inn in San Marcos, California for one day. I decided to call instead. I was told with my military discount, the price excluding tax, would be $90. Online the price was $74.71 and that was without my military discount. So I opted to book online. It was very hard because there was no way to put in the discount, so I had to pay the full price. That was the first problem.

After the transaction was finished, I saw there was a charge of $15.99 for "Services includes 24/7 human support". Since I did not use any human support I wanted to know why I was charged this fee. I called the [protected] to get answers. The customer service representative was very rude and would not listen to my full question. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, he hung up the phone.

Natually, I called back. I spoke with Heidi. She was pleasant. She basically told me this was charged to all online customers "incase" they need to call to set up another reservation. I will never call Days Inn to make another reservation. Ever.

I have served my country honorably for 15 years. I deserve my discount, and I do not see how making a reservation online warrants a $15.99 just "incase" fee.

Desired outcome: I would like a refund of $7.41 for my well-deserved military discount and the ridiculous "incase" fee of $15.99.

Days Inn days inn by by wyndham cleveland tennessee

I had a reservation at this facility for 10/20/22. when i attempted to check in between 8-9 pm, i was locked out of the lobby. A sign on the door stated that the clerk was gone for 10 minutes with no indication of when the 10 minutes began or would end. when i called the provided telephone number, it rang at the desk where no one was. i left the motel to stay at another motel. not only was i locked out, i noted through the glass door that the lobby was dirty. in trying to resolve the charge with hotels.com, the motel was contacted by hotels, com and the manager insisted the desk was available 24 hours daily which is clearly false. lesson learned about days inn

Days Inn Room

Recently I stayed at the Days Inn Albuquerque at 6031 Iliff Rd NW. The Room was freezing, after putting the heat on the room became so hot. The bed was hard as a rock! The bathtub was plugged the tub itself had a huge crack in it. A customer could not take a bath. Very little water pressure in the sink as well. the mattress pad was duty as well with a bloody spot on it. The area had homeless all around the motel and I was worried for my vehicle and my safety. I am requesting my money back.

Days Inn unsanitary accommodations

am writing this letter regarding my stay at Days inn Wyndham suites on November 12th-15th I have booked your hotel by reviewing it from Priceline.

The hotel room was totally different from the images that were shown to us< and our toilet had been clogged leaving us with a ton of water flooding our belongings. We were then moved to another room. However, the room had been untouched and i was left with a mess to clean that was obviously not my own. the entire night i was scrubbing and disinfecting, as well as killing roaches, which had been in my food and in my suitcase. This hotel staty was awful and a waste of money and time. i am a diabetic suffering healing from neuropathy ulcers on the body. The chances of becoming infected with staphylococcus are very likely at ths point, due to the poor accommodations.

Desired outcome: i would like a refund or a complimentary stay to make up for the stress

Days Inn Returning of room deposits

On October 3rd And $th of this year I stayed at your Buena Park Hotel, Paid $50 for my room in deposit which was returned due to your help. Thank You, Now the issue is A friend of mine Checked in on the 4th and I put a $100 cash deposist for his stay, which was set up to be paid to me at his departure, weill after all the mess with my depsist, your burly front desk cleck with the most guilty look on her face, claimed there was a soke odor in his room and she was keeping the deposist, well I approached him on this and reassured me that his cigerettes were left in his car and that nobody smoked. and would go down to the car when he did, well that morning at check out he was awaiting his dated to come down : just having a smoke and waiting and the front desk called the cops and your security guard accussed him of tresspassing just 11:30am est. which was allball and the poor hospitallty of this femal white burly dest clerk had dish out. that was just as rude, Now there is a case number since last I did get my $50 back, but called the hotel to ask them of if I could pick it up and a gentleman insisted there was no tennent he could find in the motel on the 4th that he was going back to check the video tapes of that days check in, and I was to call back. I did call back and your rude burly female drsk answered the phone and said that her maid amelled smoke, which I claim as impossible umless it was there before my friend had checked in. and she got nasty with me said I was not going to get my deposist and when I came back to remind her about his and my nightmare due to there assumption she hung up on profoundly. Now I do nothink That asking and wanting my $100 back is to much but now for the inconveinece would like a two {2[ night comp room too. Like I said I havent the case number nof the case but if it helps my named is Bobbi Williams of Anaheim Ca, [protected]. Thank you and please understand I need you to get back with me, and I need you too get me mostly $100 csh deposist.

Days Inn My stay at the days inn

This past weekend 11-5-22 in room 131 with my 74 year old disabled mother. We had a terrible experience and I want my story to be know to all.. I have pictures of everything. Please have some one contact me asap and I will send the pics. The facility is a drug dump and our room looked like a tweeker squat. If I dont hear from someone in a timely manner. I will take this story the media.

Days Inn Car parking notice charge

Me and my wife stayed with you at Lockerbie Annadale Waters on 22 Sept to 24 Sept

I have been issued a car parking charge when your receptionist programmed in my car reg, I rang 24 Oct left message a lady came back to me and said send me your letter we will get it resolved, since then message after message and emailed the documentation, I have received a further car parking charge notice.

No one is getting back to me, and this is really frustrating we paid you a lot of money for the stay.

PLEASE, PLEASE can someone sort this out for me ASAP

Desired outcome: That the hotel deal with this and clear this charge notice asap.And a full letter of apology for the distress this is causing.

Days Inn The ROOM

We stayed at Days Inn Newberry, South Carolina from 10/29 - 10/30. When we arrived to our room 124, the toilet would not flush. We then notified the desk and he came out to try and declog the toilet, with NO success. I said we need another room, he said we don't have anymore rooms, we can't help you but can give you a 15% discount. I said what are we suppose to use in the mean time? He said nothing and continue on to say that he inspected the room prior and we broke the commode. We had just checked in and went to use the bathroom to find out it did not work. Fortunately, we had someone in our party that we could use their bathroom. But that was a real inconvenience to process throughout the night.

Days Inn Room conditions

The rooms we had at this hotel were roach infested. We were inconveniently moved around from room to room and floor to floor at 2:00 in the morning. These conditions were completely unacceptable, and the staff supervisor was so unprofessional that I am confused as to how she even got this position. Her staff works in fear and how she talks to customers is beyond poor. I paid $224.41 for a place to sleep and shower. I was not able to utilize either function due to the conditions of the rooms. I am afraid to bring roaches to my home and I should not have to be somewhere that this is possible. When I purchased the room for the 2 nights I did not accept or sign any agreements stating that I would be subject to any of these deplorable conditions. I told the staff that I would be going down and talking with the supervisor Rosa in the morning. My wife and I fell asleep in our car for a couple hours, but we were very uncomfortable and went back up to the room to try to get a couple of hours of sleep before our flight out of Orlando. At about 7:15 a.m. Rosa the supervisor began to violently bang on the door and even slip her door key in and start pushing open the door while yelling and screaming as if we were her children. That was very unnecessary and unprofessional from all angles. She should have never done that. She should have tried to hear our complaint and view the videos and pictures we have of the deplorable property she is in charge of and tried to make it right in some way shape or form.

Desired outcome: I would like to get my money back for the stay because I feel my wife and I should NOT have had to go through this type of inconvenience.

Hello everyone interested

I officially have the complaint in with Wyndham Corporate offices and for now I am going to hold on the Health Department to allow Wyndham to rectify the issue they have with this facility and its management. Rosa in specific. I am very curious as to how she will justify her inappropriate and immature behavior. I will keep you all posted as we move forward with justice for this injustice.

THIS IS A COMPLETE FABRICATION!

There was absolutely NO RESOLVE to this claim. I have yet to hear back from the Florida Department of Health. I am filing a health and safety complaint against this property. It needs to be completely exterminated and cleaned before anyone should be allowed to use the facility. I was not given anything to satisfy my complaints. Rosa has yet to answer for her unprofessionalism and barbaric attitude and gestures she imposed towards my wife and me. She must still be held accountable for returning my money for the deplorable rooms she had us stay in. Watch the videos below and watch the roaches in our room. Rosa please comment back on how you resolved my complaints and concerns so everyone can see how you handled this claim if you did like you replied on here with falsehood.

Days Inn Room not up to standard

On September 28, 2022, I stopped at Days Inn in Jonesboro AR to spend the night. (2904 Phillips Drive), [protected]), (Room 242) when i got my room, it did not have a refrigerator, microwave, phone and a remote control for the television. So i requested to be move to another room. once i was assign another room, the followings items was wrong with the room.

1. The bed sheet had black ink on it.

2. There was a 2 X 4 board behind the head board to support it.

3. The towel holding rack in the bathroom was bended and hanging over.

4. The toilet paper holder did not the support to hold the roll of toilet paper.

5. The top television stand was dusty.

6. The television stand door was broken on the right side and someone could have gotten a splinter in they hand if they have touch the stand.

7. One of the Lamps electric cord was cut, it did not have the end that you plug in to the outlet.

I paid a total of $67.56 to spend the night, i should have sleept in my car and kept my money. If this is the type of service you get at Days Inn, i will never stay at a Days Inn again.

Days Inn Unauthorized credit card charges

I arrived at Days Inn in Grantville PA on July 22. 2022 at about 10:30 PM. My first impression is that it was closed. I went inside and told the lady at the desk I did not feel safe staying there. I am 66 yrs old. She said should could cancel my 2nd and 3rd night and I told her I would sleep in my car. She told me she didn't want me sleeping in my car and would not charge me anything. She told me to sit at the table in the lobby and call the other Days Inn in Hersey to see if I could get a room there. 15 mins after I left she called and left a message that she was charging me $166.50. I have called about 30 times in the past 2 month and have been given the run around. I want my money back now. Daisy the manager is beyond rude to me. I called today and a young girl was even worse. Horrible way to run a business.

Days Inn Days Inn Apple Valley Sevierville, TN

My wife and I stayed at the Days Inn Apple Valley in Sevierville, TN. We could not believe that the bathtub was peeling. WE could not take a shower nor wanted to. It was so disgusting. I went to change the room and the person at the desk was aware of it but would not do anything. I was told to speak to the manager in the morning, Amit Patel was not there. I left my name and number and never heard from him. I thought Wyndham was a good brand hotel. Apparently we are mistaken. There are even holes in the blankets on the beds. Do you not care how your hotels are being run? Plus we were charged more than what booking.com gave us. We also have pictures of the shower and blankets.

Days Inn Days Inn Garden of Gods Colorado Springs extremely nasty

Our daughter in law reserved us a room as our son was in intensive care in Colorado Springs. When we arrived, I have pictures to show the hallways were crumbling and moldy, not just a little but extremely bad. The room had open electrical fixtures in the bathroom also towel rack falling off the wall, broken and missing tiles in the shower, shaving cream on the wall behind the door and water dripping under the sink leaving a nasty puddle with what looked like mold. The bedroom had missing molding, the wall had something sticking on it. The air conditioner was only partially installed with no molding around it and nastiest of all was the old band aide stuck to the headboard. I don't see how this motel could possibly pass any safety inspections. They had no vending machines that worked. Which I wouldn't use them anyway as the area they are in is dirty. As I stated I have pictures of all this. All in all it was not a pleasant place. Stayed September 3rd.

Desired outcome: I'd like to know that you will check this out and see that something is done about it. This room was truly not safe. Please apologize as we had enough worries without this disaster of a stay.

Days Inn Wyndham Days Inn located in Ozark Alabama

Checked-in arrival date 9/2/2022. This a worst stay ever! And we're still trying to deal with it! The owner is not available at night, when his Employee Black male desk worker is inviting his gang and loud noisy folks, talking loudly late in the night, waking us up! Mainly on the weekend, but week nights too sometimes! We pay $388.00 and this kind of mess should not be tolerated! I have my receipts of proof. The address to Wyndham Days Inn is 858 S US Highway 231 Ozark, Alabama 36360

Desired outcome: That black guy desk worker needs to go! Because he invites his loud trashy no good for nothing loud crowds of folks! Keeping Hotel Guests awake at night on the weekends! Sometimes through the week days during night hours!

Days Inn Deceitful advertising guest safety.

August 31, 2022 using the service of Booking.com I reserved a room at the Days Inn, 9565 Tuckerton Street, Jamaica, NY 11433. The reservation date was September 7th through September 10, 2022. The rates were comparable to other hotels in Queens. The amenities included free on site parking.

Prepayment: "You'll be charged a prepayment of the cost of the first night within 1 day before arrival."

Cancellation Policy: "You can cancel for free until 1 day before arrival. You'll be

charged the cost of the first night if you cancel within 1 day of arrival.

Cancellation cost: until September 5, 2022 11:59PM [EDT]: $0 from September 6, 2022 12:00AM [EDT]: $113.60

On September 7th, 2022 - I drove to the hotel only to find it was located in the middle of a slum in an area that looked like War Torn Ukraine... The hotel was surrounded by junk yards and abandoned cars, burnt cars and trash all over the sidewalks and streets: See attached photos.

There were 4 parking spaces and I had to park on the sidewalk. I was told by the front desk that there were no restaurants in the area and it was not safe to venture out at night. They supplied a take out menu for food delivery. I did not dare to leave my room for fear of my safety.

I was in Queens for a family function and left my room Saturday to attend a wedding. I was worried that my car would be stolen or broken into parked unsafely on the sidewalk outside the building

People should be warned of the impending danger that comes along with staying at this hotel... I called booking, com to complain and was told that this was a non-refundable reservation,

I suffered emotional pain, stress and anxiety. What I thought would be an enjoyable stay in New York turned out to be a nightmare as I was held hostage in a hotel room in the center of a high crime slum area... The total cost of this nightmare was $408.68...

Guests should be warned that this hotel is located in the middle of the slums and is a dangerous high crime area before agreeing to book the room.

I will be writing the Attorney General of New York about this experience.

Desired outcome: I expect a full refund of $408.68 and an apology for Days Inn deceitful booking practices.

Days Inn Condition of hotel room

Reservation for Sept. 5. Room was in the process of being renovated. Walls were in poor condition with visible patching of holes in white which contrasted the paint color. A lot of this around the hotel door and bathroom door. What was particularly distressing is that the door and frame were dirty and heavily marred with a heavy black vertical damage "line" across the base of the white door. I have pictures.

I paid $120 for the room and because I was soooo exhausted and had already unpacked, I didn't call the front desk to determine if they had another room in better condition available. Management should have blocked rental of that room until it was finished.

Days Inn Reservation for a one night's stay at Days Inn, Chicago, IL

To Whom It May Concern,

A group of four persons travelled to Chicago, IL to participate in a memorial for a relative who had passed. The persons in question booked two separate rooms at Days Inn near the Greater Walter's A.M.E. Church where the event was to take place. The reservation for the rooms was done by phone. To make a long story short, I thought a business was to have integrity and honor their words. The group of people paid more than what was quoted to them by phone. Furthermore, the group of people had to pay more than the amount in question. It is my understanding that the customer is always right and that the business is to stand on their word, whether this particular Days Inn is company owned or part of a franchise, the quality of service should mean something.

To the owner of this particular establishment, go back to school and learn about integrity, customer service, and management skills. Your establishment is giving The Wyndham Hotel Chain a bad reputation.

Desired outcome: One free night's stay at any Days Inn should be given to The Rose Group who booked two rooms on the 23rd of August. They had to end up staying. So, reimburse the person who booked the room one night's stay.

Days Inn motel

I am writing in regards to a night’s stay at your Days Inn in Rapid City Sought Dakota. The address is: 725 Jackson Blvd, Rapid City, SD 57702. My hope is to ensure that the your reconsider your pricing and stop price gauging.

On August 10, 2022 I lost my keys to my vehicle while eating at a local pizza place in Rapid City. All attempts to located said key were exhausted and I was forced to stay the night in order to have a key fabricated the next day. We were traveling to Sturgis for the motorcycle rally. I had not choice but to get a room for the night. Luckily there was a days inn within walking distance. There were three of us traveling one who is disabled. It was a chore just waling for the disabled person.

When we arrived at the hotel, I attempted to see what the prices where I was charged over $225.00 for a one nights stay at this shady, horrible awful smelling room. The room smelled of urine and mold. There were only one set of towels in a two-bed room.

I understand the law of supply and demand however $225.00 is an outrageous price for one nights stay. When I asked why the room was so expensive, I was looked down upon me and the gentleman simply responded with Sturgis.

I was highly offended by the answer. Unfortunately, I had no other option except to pay and stay at this hotel. It was truly a horrible experience and I do feel as if I were robbed and taken advantage. The rates charged today are less than $85 a night. I am defiantly never staying at a days in or any of your affiliates. I could have tried a different hotel but none were close enough especially with a disabled person to take around. I am sure that there is nothing you will do, however, I do feel it imperative that someone say something about your pricing and mark ups. It is utter nonsense that you charge that much for a cheap motel. In fact, the motel was as if it should have been charging rooms by the hour.

I hope my compliant is heard and given to your management staff, and global team for review. I will never stay nor recommend days inn or any of your motel affiliates again especially the one located on Jackson Street in Rapid City, SD.

Please let me know if there is anything else I can do to make my voice and complaint heard.

Days Inn Breakfast Area not in use, lied to about what it included

The night of July 31, 2022 in Girard, Ohio. The Listing of this Hotel said it had a Continental Breakfast and when asked at the front desk was told it starts at 6 am. When going down for breakfast nothing was set out, even though they had a dining area all ready. When asking the front desk personnel they said it was a grab and go breakfast, a wrapped muffin and granola bar. I was shocked and took a picture of this "breakfast". I asked for the management and was told they come in at 3 pm and could wait and talk to them which is ridiculous when I needed to continue my trip to my son's house.

I was concerned when arriving when our room for 4 people had only towels for two but then the pool area did not have any towels we had to ask the front desk for more. Another concern was the room curtains had holes in it that we noticed when we closed them to change into our suits.

I believe I deserve a refund for at least half of our room rate since I was lied to from the beginning since a continental breakfast is most certainly NOT a muffin and granola bar. Since they charged extra for having 4 people in the room that extra should be refunded as well since they were not prepared for anymore than 2 people.

Desired outcome: Days Inn needs to do a quality check of this location to see for themselves how this location needs an overhaul. A refund for at least the extra they charged for 4 people when in fact they were barely ready for one.
