I registered with damelin and paid my fees. I did not receive any study material for months. I have contacted damelin numerous time but no response. I requested a refund and to date have not received my refund. Damelin is just ignoring my calls and emails.

It is now 1 year that has passed and I have not received my refund and I have lost 1 year.

I have tried contacting everyone possible at damelin but no one can assist.

I was supposed to write two modules in June 2022,they never sent me time table or confirmation letter, so I did not write and they charged me for it, then on August 2022 they acknowledged their mistake and said I must attach this acknowledgement so that I won't be charged twice, now they are charging me for those exams they never removed that amount. What I would like is for them to clear my account so they can give me my results please.

I finally got an extension on my course after battling to get any assistance, course has been extended however I've submitted my assignments August 2023 and again last week, and to date none have been marked due to assessor being sick then passing on. So, there is one person marking the whole countries assignments? Whenever I ask for an update, I get the following response: "I have received your assignments. There is currently a delay with the marking. Once the matter is resolved I will advise." CERTIFICATE: SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT NQF 5, SAQA ID: 74149 what is the point of extension if i cant get marks of assignments submitted. :(

i have registered with damelin in 2021 they have failed dismally to resolve my issue i paid for the full course upfront i dont owe them a cent ,i have been requesting a full report of all my exams and assingments all they do is giving me incomplete results i have made several call all these years ive sent emails no one has respondes for months and weeks ive called them you will be on the que for an hour and still you wont get any response it is a shame and i will never even wish my enemy to be part of that institution the took all them money but you wont get results its all rosey when they want you to register as soon as they get your money they disappear i have a good mind of inviting EFF im sure they will listen

We have studied for a diploma in taxation and law.

Exams were written and assignments were submitted, a combined result was suppose to be given to us as we were distant learners and up until today no results therefore we do not have the diploma,

Teresa van Zyl have requested remarks on the assignments and these requests were ignored. Sars paid via bursary for this diploma.

I have filled a complaint and I was asked to send my student number which I did but my complaint was not resolved.. I did not get feedback on whether or not they will resolve my complaint. I feel scammed by damelin... I am pleading with anyone who had similar issue of not been taken into consideration to please tell me what I should do... This complaints board is misleading people into believing that they are resolving issues which they not. My student number [protected].. Damelin is such a nightmare.

I have been overcharged and have been waiting for my refund for over a year now. I have sent all the neccersary documents and my proof of payment. Nobody gets back to me. I have sent numerous emails and called so many times without any luck. All I want is my money back.

my Student Number is 408553, previously 815321.

I am awaiting my refund, I paid for Financial Statements last year August, however I already passed this subject and it appears on the ICB that I was found competent in 2013 already. I shouldn’t have been charged for it again.

I am registered with damelin and would like to deregistering. I am unable to login to the portal and attend classes I made the general manager aware of my probl and they failed to help me until I decided to deregister since I am not assisted.I no longer want to be part of damelin my student number is [protected]. I registered for my studies via Damelin Correspondence, they charged me for a subject(Financial Statements) which i already passed, and now they don't bother to respond to my emails. I have called numerous times, with no success. I paid my fees last year August, i only received my books February this year. My books for Income Tax that i was supposed to write on the 4th of October 2023, only came last week. I had to reschedule my exam, and they charged me a fee for that which i am liable to pay. The institution is disappointing to say the least, i just want my refund and never deal with you again. Unprofessional, money lovers!

My student number is [protected] , my mother paid R5330 extra on my school fees and she applied for a refund on 09 May 2023 , she is been sending emails and making phone call but she does not get help.

They said to process a refund takes about 3 month but it more than 3 month now.

This is really stressing her out because she is not getting her money back, please help!

On the 20th January 2020 the sum of R27,216.00 was paid to Damelin instead of R17,216.00 being the course cash fee.

My name is Amohelang Lesia and I was a student at Damelin College in Bloemfontein. I studied Electrical Engineering and I only completed N3 , so In March 2021 I went to the campus to get my certificate and they told that they didn't apply for the certificate and they applied for it on the same day and I was told to come back after a week. I then went back to the campus after 2 weeks to get the certificate and still there was no luck. The sad part about this whole thing is that , as a student I did my part and I don't owe fees. How am I supposed to apply for Learnerships if I don't have the Certificate yet I went to College? I made all the effort in making sure that I get the certificate, even now I'm still doing that. Sometimes I would call them and the consultant would tell me that the person responsible for the certificate is on leave or lunch and they will get back to me but they never did , instead I'm always the one getting back to them. The general manager and the Academic manager, they are not doing anything in making sure that I get help and what I know is that , at Damelin you to get your results if you didn't pay your school fees. It's obvious that I only went to Damelin to waste my time and money , I'm so disappointed. I hope someone will help me this around. Also a refund of R3000

I registered with Damelin on the 4 March 2020 and to date I have not received outcome results for the 9 exams that I have written and the study material for Word2010 Level1, which is one of the modules on the course and is the remaining one in order for me to complete the course . There are 10 modules in this course and I have written exams for 9, because Word2010 does not have an examination but rather an assignment is required in order to pass.and in order to pass. I have not received study material for Word2910 to date and several attempts have been made by myself to get assistance from Damelin but instead I have been sent from pillar to post.This course is funded by my employer and because the course has since expired I am expected to submit the academic results or pay back the bursary fee. This has taken a serious toll on my mental health because opportunities are passing me and I can’t grow within the organisation.

I am highly disappointed with the service at Damelin. I sent a refund form in January 2023 that was never acknowledged and then got handed over a few months later. Your accounts department needs more training. I am highly disappointed in the fact that I have constantly email and call for a response. The fact that my credit score is being affected because of the incompetence of your department. I would like a call back from a manager and I want this matter to be escalated.

On the 20th March 2023 i paid for my online studies. My company paid the bursary funds i was dealing with a lady named Leah & a guy named Johan. Once i paid my funds i got a registration letter and that was it no guides no mails answered nothing. So i then deregistered on the 20th April and requested a refund. If i tell you i cant get help i am being told by leah and johan they only sign people up new registrations, the cancellations department apparently doesn't have a phone. I am constantly mailing and phoning, when i phone i can hold on for half a day and no answer yet the voice recording says i am number 1 in the que and my call will be answered. When the call gets answered i ask for a lady named mandisa who is working for damelin, who confirmed that Leah and Johan should help me, once i ask for her the call gets dropped. They have basically stolen two students bursary money from an international corporate company.

I still received no response from this institution regarding my refund . My account was handed over despite sending a refund form months prior . Your accounts department is so useless. I need someone to contact me this week. I don’t want to email no customer service because they do not respond. Im tired of this . Im going to one of your campuses and not going to leave until someone helps me . Your institution is a scam . I NEED SOMEONE TO CONTACT ME
