Your Better Tomorrow offers a stop smoking cd for $1.99. Then 2 days later they bill you for $74.97 saying that you agreed to a monthly enrolment and if you cancel they still bill you. There is no way to get out of this scam!

I ordered this for my son and grandson. I was not aware that it was an ongoing event either. another charge just showed up on my VISA card so I called the company at their customer service number, selected option 3, and was able to get both accounts deactivated in about 5 minutes. I think I am done with this group, but will be watching my Visa card for any further activity. It does appear that one is able to cancel this by calling in or going to the online account and cancelling.

I wrote to them BEFORE ordering the first FREE CD and asked, "if the first CD is so successful at helping people quit smoking, why would I need a 2nd CD or a monthly subscription for that matter? Please fill me in on what I'm missing before I place my order." I never heard back from them. My guess, my opinion, is that they saw that and said to themselves, he read the fine print and will cancel right after we ship the first CD, therefore we won't be able to charge him the $89 and get away with it. Forget him and move on. Since they didn't bother to reply to pre-sale request, I never placed the order. I will not place an order with any company who decides FOR ME that I have to pay X number of dollars for so much product each month. The same type of thing came up for a cream my wife wanted to try. They wanted a monthly billing, I didn't. I contacted them and told them they could sell a jar and we would contact them for more when WE wanted it or not sell a jar. She gets a jar about every 4 or 5 months. Don't fall for these monthly billings! Write them first with your questions and see if they reply. If they don't reply, walk away. If they do, get the schedule YOU want!

Like most of these people on this site, I've had the same experience except that i'm now receiving a weekly package. I'm going to to request that no more charges will be filed on my card. I'm old and most of my bills on credit are pay bills and it is a nuisance to notify my creditors. I will send the two packages back with receipt required. and also file a complaint with the better business area in the company's state. Their behavior is despicable!

I started signing up for the CD but as soon as I saw they wanted my credit card info.for a shipping fee I knew it was bad news and didn't order it.. Any offer that is free and then wants a "small fee" for shipping or something else is a setup to get your credit card Info.

I started to sign up but when I saw I had to give them my credit card info. I said no way. Anything that says it's free and then want a "small fee" for shipping or something is a setup to get your info. and then bill you for something you weren't aware of.

I made the same mistake all of you made ! I returned the second batch of CDs and gave YBT the tracking number ! YBT emailed me an E-check for $ 84.97 the next day ! I deposited the check and hope it clears ? I also cancelled the YBT account that YBT set up by using my email address and my last name as the password !? I also had my credit card bank issue me a new card with a different number just in case YBT tries to charge me again ! I think I received quick service because I informed YBT that I was a retired FBI agent, and that I saw many legal issues with their website, and that I had friends at the FTC !

I too wanted the stop smoking cd, only to find out later that they tried to bill me for $84.97. This outfit should be shut down and the higher ups put in jail. I have filed a dispute with my bank for this charge and have recieved a new card so they cannot bill me anymore. STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS!

Same thing here! When I ask for my money to be refunded they state that I must return the "box set" which I have not received, nor can they give me any shipping information to confirm that it has been shipped. THESE GUYS ARE A COMPLETE SCAM! Time for a Class Action Lawsuit!

I, also am a victim of their scam. I ordered the $1.99CD and was billed 87.00 for the other CD's before the $1.99 one arrived. I called they informed me that I would have to wait until I got the CD's send them back and call them with a tracking number. I done everything they told me, called with the tracking number from the post office and then I was told I would have to get my refund by E-Check. I explained that I only use a debit card and that I wanted my money credited back to my debit card from which they took it from. They told me I would receive an E-Check anyway. I asked them how I knew the check was good since they are a scam. She proceeded to tell me they had no complaints from anyone about the check not being good. This company needs shut down immediately. I have filed complaints with the BBB and State Attorney General Office of the State of Washington, but have heard nothing from either of them.

Oh My God ! What have I done to myself ?! I cannot afford 90.00 for this BS ! I have tried to file a complaint with the BBB but there is no category on their website ! I have taken your suggestion and cancelled my card. This is the worst . After reading all of your reports I face the fact that I will never get my money back. I simply do not want these people to be able to access my card again. Did cancelling your card really work ? Please tell me that it did. I am a single mother, this will put me behind on a bill. I wish that these people could be arrested !

There is a way. If everyone called the Attorney Generals office with their complaints they will have to investigate this issue. What I did was cancelled my debit card and file an appeal with the bank. I am waiting to see. A friend said the Attorney Generals office was my best bet.

I experienced the same as above treatment. I sent them an email on 8/16 to cancel and on 8/20 another was mailed to me which I got about three days later. I called AMEX to dispute this charge and it was deducted from my Jet Blue account, as of a couple of days ago. I'm confident AMEX is aware of this scam, so I'm not concerned at this point.

I got taken in by the "free" CD offer too and the following week, my debit card was hit with an $84.00 charge. I cancelled my membership-on line, then closed my debit card so they couldn't continue to steal from me. I called their customer service department, and they did e-mail me a return authorzation and mailing label. I was instructed to return and then e-mail the tracking number to them. I did get an e-mail from them today confirming that they received the return and that I would receive an e-check via e-mail in the next couple of days. Hope the check is good...

This is a way to get them: Don't just demand your money; I took the liberty of calling and made threats to take them to court with a lawyer involved and gave them a 15 day time frame to give me my money back. They said they would return the $84.97 all but $10.00 of it for postage and handling. I did wait 15 days and had to call them back with the treat of taking them to court. They made up the excuse that they were having computer issues, so the same day they sent out a E-check for the amount of $79.97, which was thru Wells Fargo Bank. The bank cashed it and I'm satisfied.

I just ordered the 1. 99 cd and they also charged me 84. 74 i called them right away and asked about it they told me to return and give them a tracking number. The customer service people there are so f&^*^ rude they are pathetic. I spoke to roana and she needs customer service classes and on top of that there phones are very muffled so it makes it very difficult to understand them. I will contact the bank if i do not get a refund. This just happened this week. I normally look up companies before i do anything and i kicking myself for not doing this company. I will give them time to refund and if they don't i will contact bank of america and they will refund me and they have to fight the bank. . .

I just recently ordered the cd for $1.99 for Quit Smoking...and recieved that and thought that would be the end of this...But to my surprise I ended up getting this box in the mail from them for other stuff and got charged for this too...After reading all the comments on here...after the damage has already been done...I regret ordering this cd...I also used a bank card for this and just canceled it this morning...I read through the comments that it is much easier to cancel the card and just get a new card issued to me through my bank...DON'T ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS PLACE CALLED (YOUR BETTER TOMORROW)..It is a scam and all they want is your money...I wish I would have done more research on this website before making this mistake..It also sounds like there customer service is bad as well...Before ordering anything now, I will google the website to see what it says first about the website..

ordered FREE quit smoking cd on line. Received it. (fine) Started receiving cd's that were never ordered. Tried to call Your Better Tomorrow to unsubscribe and was told to unsubscribe on line, which I did. As I was unsubscribing on line I noticed many complaints from subscribers accusing your company of being a scam. Tried calling my bank to see if your company had withdrew any funds from my account. I was told I had to come in in person to check the status.Since my bank is not in my immediate area, it will take me a couple of days to do so. If I find that any funds have been withdrawn from my account without my authorization, I will proceed with further action.

I purchased a Stop Smoking CD for $1.99. So begins the nightmare! On Feb. 11, 2015 I received 5 additional CD's that I didn't realize I had signed up for. I immediately called and insisted on a refund. I was first told I would not get one because it CLEARLY states in the Terms and Conditions what I agreed to by getting the Stop Smoking CD. After many choice words with Adrian, the "supervisor" he issued a return and refund authorization (less shipping) for $74.97. I had to call back on Feb. 16th to make sure the authorization had been accepted. on the 16th Marcia approved the return an told me the refund would be in my bank within 14 days. After 14 days, no refund. I called back and Brenda told me it would be within 14 WORKING days. The 14th working day was a holiday so I waited until the 16th working day - no refund. I called back and Rona told me that it was 14 working days AFTER THE CD'S WERE RECEIVED BY THEM! I found out that they were received on Feb. 28th. On March 14th still no refund. I called several times and kept getting next week, next week, next week. Still no refund! Finally, 6 weeks and 21 calls later they were eager to issue an e-check to my personal e-mail account. I called my bank to see if they would accept it. I was told NO, but they would accept a paper check or an e-deposit directly into my account. This would require giving Your Better Tomorrow the bank's routing number and my bank account number. DO NOT DO THIS! They could wipe out your account! My bank said they would reimburse my account for the purchase price and I could turn this whole mess into the bank's fraud division to start an investigation. On March 27th, after talking to my bank, I again called Your Better Tomorrow and told them to send me a paper check for $74.97. I was told, by Brenda, it would be at least 15 working days before it was issued! I blew up! I told them they had until April 10, 2015 to have the check in my hand by 2:00 pm with funds verified or I would start the investigation. Low and behold, the paper check was issued on March 27th! Imagine that! It's now April 9th, I just received the paper check and am RUNNING to the closest Wells Fargo Bank to cash this check! I hope this post helps some of you that are having to deal with these lying, scamming dirt bags!

I also have had a run-in with this company. I signed up for a $1.99 Stop Smoking CD. I was then charged $84.97 for 5 more CD's that I did not know about. They said it was in the "Terms and Conditions". I received the CD's on Feb. 11, 2015. I immediately called and insisted on a refund from Adrian the "supervisor". He issued a refund authorization # via e-mail and told be to call back on Feb. 16th for the status. On the 16th I called and Marcia approved the refund and said it would be in my bank within 14 days. Fourteen days later there was no refund. I called back and was told by Brenda it would be 14 WORKING days. The 14th working day was a holiday so I waited until the 16th working day - no refund. I have called 21 different times between Feb. 11th and March 27th. I was continually told next week, next week, next week. Then finally, the middle of March they wanted to send an e-check to my personal e-mail address. I called my bank and was told they would not accept an e-check sent to a personal e-mail address. They would, however, accept an e-depost. This would require giving the bank routing number and your account number to Your Better Tomorrow. DO NOT DO THIS! They can wipe out your account! I finally contacted the Attorney General in Washington state and could not do anything due to the lack of a street address.Your Better Tomorrow's street address is 477 Peace Portal Drive, Blaine, WA, 98230 (I just found this out today, April 9, 2015). On March 27th my bank told me they would reimberse the purchase price and I could turn this over to the Fraud Division to investigate Your Better Tomorrow. I called Your Better Tomorrow on March 27th and told them to send a paper check to me and if I did not receive it by April 10, 2015 I would turn this matter over to the Fraud Division. Guess What! A paper check was issued on March 27th! Imagine that! It is now April 9, 2015 and I am RUNNING to the closest Well Fargo Bank to cash this check. If there are any problems I will be back to let you all know.

We reported them to the Federal Trade commission. They are a scam and there is no mention when getting the quit smoking disc that you are signing up to a club. Please file complaints with the FTC by going to the website www.ftc.gov. We need to shut down these people because this IS a full out SCAM. My father is 88 yrs old and they stole almost 300.00 from him via credit card before we realized what they were doing. Good luck to everyone. and also, they have a facebook page, make a complaint there too. The more we do through social media to get this message outthere to others the better.

We had two unauthorized charges show up on our card, the $1.99 and then the $84.97. We didn't even know who they were until now. We have never contacted them or been contacted by them, somehow they managed to get our credit card number. We disputed the charge and were able to get the larger of the two charges canceled but our card company said that the only way to stop future charges from them was to cancel the card. So now we are awaiting our new card. It looks to us as though that they are farming card numbers and charging them.

Just to be perfectly clear we don't need any help with and type of substance abuse cessation and have not sought any out.

I was told to send the second CD back to them if it wasn't open, which I did on September 19, which was confirmed by your better tomorrow by email. After many calls and promises by them to refund my credit card, no refund has been issued.Today i cannot reach them on there toll free number.
