This review was chosen algorithmically as the most valued customer feedback.

My wife purchased three votive "Unscented" candles for $6 and change at Yankee Candle.

Contrary to the description, they had a heavy scent. When I went to return them, I did not have the receipt. The manager said I could only get a store credit despite the fact that there was nothing else to purchase and the product was not as labeled.

I then sent an email to the company, they replied their policy required a receipt to credit my card and that I could give candles as gift to someone else. They would not refund my $6 and change. I have since found unscented candles at Pier One at a fraction of the cost.

Yankee are a company with questionable ethics. They owe me money and are refusing to pay, but then I'm only a small business.

When I light the "Autum Wreath" I noticed that I have ear problems and sinus problems. Friends that visit start coughing and sniffling. I would love to know when to return theses to the store. I bought 3 at christmas and now I am very disappointed that its making my family and friends sick!

Fragrances are causing a variety of environmental and health problems. The environmental problems are the result of the chemicals used to keep the fragrances producing an odor for decades. The health problems are related to asthma (for about 20% of the population) and birth defects in baby boys. The chemicals cause baby boys to have malformed and undescended testicles and very small penises.

Yankee needs to be more responsible and sell only safe products--best are those that are free and clear of hazardous perfumes.

"Contrary to the description" - Yankee Candle are a scented candle company. I should hope they had a strong scent or Yankee would be out of business.

There is no such item as an unscented Yankee Candle Votive - surely your wife was able to smell them in the store? or at least read the label!

The only fraud here is your comment.
