The Web site you see above are illegal sites all the same but under different names i recently brough a box set from the TVDVDSTORE and it has come from China, it is not reputable merchant quality and is totally illegal. i have payed via paypal and opened a dispute agaisnt the so called company. He calls himself mike this may only be one of many names his details are as follows:

I know this post may be a bit old but this store has come back to haunt you all! I bought the Drew Carey Show back in January this year (2009) and after about 2 months received the disks. My husband and I noticed it had come from China which I thought was a bit odd. But lucky for me all 34 disks were intact and nothing broken. Out of those 34 disks I have 6 faulty. Now I am a videographer myself and these busted disks either had shows cut off, or menu's that were pixalated and wouldn't let you into the episodes. I told them I wanted replacements for these and told them what needed to be done, as in watch the darn episodes yourselves before dispatch. After 30 days (not 15) I received the disks and low and behold...they are just duplicates of the bad disks, but without any labels on them. I have bought from a store before and received a brilliant product. I thought this was all legal by companies buying the TV shows tapes and simply recording them onto DVD. Heck it's a cheaper way of doing it and I thought the money went to the people respectivly. I must be wrong! I have emailed them and told them they need to replace the disks, refund my money (HAH!) or I go to the FBI. I have no idea who Mike is I've been dealing with someone else. Oh and when the parcel arrived today, it was labelled as a braclet...which I suspect is to fool customs. When I received the first parcel earlier this year it had DVD's written on customs decleration.

I ordered the complete Gunsmoke collection. The same scam! I received a shattered box with chunks of plastic hanging out. If I had been the one receiving it, I would have rejected the package. But my son took it from the ups man. Half the discs were blank. One was a chinese birthday party recording. Some were matlock episodes. Most discs won't even play. I was told by 'Mike' the same thing...get a partial refund and keep the discs or send them all back to China ( not worth the risk for the cost involved!). I never received anything back . No refund or replys after that e-mail. And no recourse via Visa because I actually received merchandise!

I agree with every single comment I read about the TVDVDStore. It is a"TOTAL RIPOFF" and a discusting shame how a so- called company can advertise via the internet on a so- called ligitimate website, openly. Where is the law or the "WEBSITES MONITORING", POLICE!!! Where is the Better Business Bureau or are they all getting a piece of the action! I experienced exactly the same problems, with no response to my emails. I was offered a parcial refund but never received a follow up to the offer or the actual refund. I believe the offer was made with all intentions of never refunding a dime. They know our lives are busy and sometimes hectic and that we will not continue to keep following up and checking our E-mails for a response. Just the same if I've taken a little time today to write this lengthy response to you all, then I can make a commitment to lodge a formal complaint with the rest of you all. Let's come up with a solution by meeting online to form a group of complaints together. A.S.A.P.

Yeap - I was caught out too!

Each of the following companies are part of the same group - - SO AVOID THEM ALL (and spread the word - the more people we can tell about these illegal merchants the better).

Also, many people have commented that they followed the sponsored links from Amazon.com or Amazon.co.uk - my advice is simple, do what I did and complain to Amazon that they are enabling links to merchants who are knowing selling illegally copied DVDs and by so doing are culpable in defrauding the copyright owners.

If we all complain to Amazon etc then we will be able to reduce these people's channel to market and affect their revenues.

Yeap, I probably sound bitter - I am - and I am going to use all the resources at my disposal to publicize the illegal activities of each of the following:

I guess we got lucky. My son orderd the complete Rockford Files for me for Christmas. It took for ever to get here, came from China as others have indicated, and the quality was very poor. As othes have said, they apeared to have been recorded from TV onto a VCR then dubbed over to a DVD. After numerous E-Mails to this "Mike" we actually got a credit. He takes a long time to respond. It was a partial credit, but at least we got it. The choices were to return them to the China address for a full refund, or accept a partial refund and keep the DVD's. Since the shipping back to China would obviously be as much or more than the difference, we took the partial refund. Actually, you can get almost everything these people offer from Amazon.com, only not in complete sets. For comparison, I ordered the Rockford Files season 1, and the quality is great. I have also filed numerous complaints with the appropriate regulatory agencies. Not sure what they can do since the company is in Canada.

I HAVE HAD NOTHING NUT PROBLEMS WITH THESE JERKS ALSO. I PLACED AND ORDER WITH THEM AND STILL HAVENT RECEIVED MY ORDER. THEY SAID 10-14 DAYS TODAY IS DAY 10 STILL NOTHING. ALL I GET IS THE FORM EMAILS TELLING ME THE SAME STUFF.ONE DAY IT WAS SHIPPED A COUPLE DAYS LATER IT WAS ON BACK ORDER BUT HAD BEEN SHIPPED. STILL NOTHING. SO I CALLED THEM AND WAS GIVEN A TOTAL ATTITUDE. WHEN I SAID I SPEND 60 BUCKS AND HAVE NOTHING TO SHOW FOR IT I WAS TOLD "OH A WHOLE 60 BUCKS HA" I WAS TOLD I WAS STUPID AND THEY WERE GOING TO CANCELL MY ORDER, WELL IF IT WAS SHIPPED USPS THEN HOW CAN IT BE CANCELLED. I HAVE ALREADY CALLED MY CREDIT CARD COMPANY TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE. THE AGENT WAS SHOCKED WHEN I TOLD HER HOW THIS COMPANY TALKED TO ME. CUSTOMER SERVICE MY ASS. ILL KEEP YOU POSTED ON WHAT GARBAGE I RECEIVE IF I EVER GET IT.. OH YA THE NUMBER I HAVE FOR THEM IS 1-778-282-8099. THAT IS A BRITISH COLUMBIA NUMBER. I SPOKE TO A PRICK NAMED FRANCO. I also purchased a set of DVD's from this company. My husband's mother died in Sept 2008 and her favorite show was The Rifleman. I decided after Encore Western stopped showing it, I wanted to purchase the set for my husband for Christmas. Found this company thru Google. I ordered at the end of November (plenty of time before Christmas) but did not receive them until after Christmas. My credit card had already been charged but a week before I actually received them I did a chargeback on my card and it was found in my favor because the company did not respond. The day I received the credit, I received the DVD's. They are awful. So far we have been able to watch them but picture is poor and sound quality is poor. I am glad I got my money back, but I certainly wish I had found these complaints before so I would not have wasted my time and money, These people should be stopped. It is disgusting how many dishonest people get away with their illegal activities.

I have also been ripped off by this company. I wish I would have read these complaints before I ordered my two TV series for $150. I have been trying to contact the company to get a refund but they won't reply. I will try to go through my Credit Card company. If you need me to help out in shutting this company down then please contact me.

This picture (http://img266.imageshack.us/img266/6941/dvdstorenetscanzo3.jpg) is what's supposed to be the receipt, which wasn't used by our mail man.

Congratulations! Your company including its aliases is listed on a complaint board set up to warn the general public of naughty business’s like yours. In the last 190 days I counted 92 complaints from ripped off people just from your business alone. Two of them are mine.

I have made several requests for your address but you didn’t even respond until you found out that I disputed this matter with my charge card and was awarded the full amount. You still haven’t given me a return address. You only asked for the money back.
Some of my local friends in Law Enforcement are very interested in obtaining your address and discussing “The Berne Act” with you.
If your business was entirely based within the United States, I’m confident that you would have been shut down a long time ago and would probably still be serving time. It’s only that your operation hides in China and the fact that you don’t publish a return address that you have eluded U.S. prosecution.

Your business has defrauded the American Motion Picture industry by selling copyrighted material. In this particular case your business also illegally infringed on the Broadcast Network of TV Land by copying content from there broadcast as a source to illegally reproduced copyrighted material. This is quite evident as this merchandise contains the TV Land logo.
Even if your business was legitimate, the processes by which the DVD’s you shipped me are so bad that over half of them wouldn’t play. There’s nothing high quality about them.

Your very words to me being “immoral” and “wrong” fully apply to your business and the merchandise you shipped to me and others.
Consider cleaning up your act for the sake of your own government. China continues to make a huge investment in favorable world opinion, IE: the Olympics. In light of world opinion, if the proper Government official was made aware of your business practices they might bring the hammer down hard on your operation. Perhaps you will motivate me to contact officials of your Government in your behalf.

There is nothing immoral or wrong about protecting yourself from the illegitimate business practices such as yours. Considering that, it’s actually quite sleazy of you to even ask for a reversal of a chargeback or act like you have been defrauded when you are the one committing criminal acts.

Well I'm another one of their victims. Thought I was getting a good deal on Little House on the Prairie disks but instead I got a bunch of crappy disks some that won't play and others that do but the quality is terrible. Stay away from them.

Defend yourself against these Pirates!
You don’t have to settle for pirated junk material.
Dispute the matter with your charge card.
Also save all documentation between you and the “merchant pirate”.
It is to your advantage that the pirate, ignores you or doesn’t provide a return address or phone number.
It makes it impossible for you to return the junk and why should you have to pay to have bootleg material returned?
At some point your dispute will require documentation to justify the return of money.
Be sure to claim the full amount, including shipping.
Be prepared for a response from the Pirate when they find out the money is gone.
They may call you “immoral” but I’m sure you have some labels for them.

I ordered the entire series of KNOTS LANDING..same compaints as everyone else...bad quality of tapes, broken boz they arrived in, and once I got through a few of them, they were freezing up and saying 'DAMAGED TAPE". Not knowing about this company I changed to a different dvd player and same thing. I work hard for my money like everyone else does and to receive products like this...I have learned a lesson and unfortunately it going to change my way of ordering online.

Wish i'd seen these complaints before i bought my set of Dvd's!! $109 they charged me for cheap arse copies!! If i wanted copie's i could have got them in the UK!!

DO NOT USE THESE WEB SITES TOTAL CON ARTISTS!!

My nephew is going to be well disappointed i haven't got the set of Dvd's i promised him this christmas! You can speak to your credit card company for a refund but make sure you keep all your emails you sent and 'Mike' has sent you. It takes up to 6 months to get your money back but well worth it than being out of pocket!!

If you are reading this after you have given this company your hard earned money I hate to tell you that you are out of luck. You won't be getting what you expected. You will be getting copies from vhs to dvd and several episodes will be missing and some hardly viewable. The following companies are sister companies of this one as well.

I would just be repeating eveything and anything that has been already said. I am indeed alot wiser but poorer by $ 450.00. I got taken by the excellent write-ups on all the DVD collections that I was interested in and before my first order has arrived, I order many more. Feeling very ignorant with my experience I do question how a company like this is able to get away with what they have. How can they even be linked to other reputable companies? I don't like the idea that I must distrust a company found on my screen. Arlene from Canada.

it seems im not the only one with the same problem.

I ordered "all 220 episode of Dynasty tv serie" from that same shop but then it was called www.tvdvd.tv

what i got? terrible pic quality, sound quality sucks, recorded from soap channel, with vcr. It Takes over a month before they charge my credit card. Then suddenly 1 day i got message, that order has delivered. Rest is bad history :)

Ordered a set from them and thought I was scammed when the set arrived with 3 spoilt discs. Emailed them thinking that my money was gone and had to get a new gift for my wife.
Surprisingly Mike emailed me back promising replacements, and they did arrive 2 weeks later!
Was able to enjoy with my wifie a full WORKING set of this old TV series from my almost forgotten childhood in the end.

These individuals should not be able to receive another dime from an innocent person. They totally deceived me. The product has gone straight into the trash. I received a broken case with the worst dvd's imaginable. "Mike" said that I needed to try another player since they would not play on my dvd player. I cannot believe they are still in business!!!

I was scammed. Mike or whatever his name is has never addressed my complaint. When I signed for the package, you could not even read the initials from China. The Spin City dvd's were of such poor quality that I cannot even play the discs. My first clue was when I opened the box and the cover box was torn plus you could not even make out the picture on the plastic cover or the wording. This company sells pure junk and should be ashamed of themselves. I guess shame on us for trusting that we might get a good product. I hope others learn from this!
