I signed up for the horizonoutlet.com posted"credit card," but this is not at all what I thought i was getting. So, i ordered this card, to my surprise, bought into a card that lets me shop at their web sight. Ok, this is not all: the stuff is literally junk. I can buy this at the dollar store if i wanted to. I was also disappointed to find out it cosed me around 75.00 to wait 2 weeks for a product that has as much use to me as a rock.

I received a post card and looked things up here first. I read the comments and then logged on. First of all...NO WHERE did I see this company advertise their card with a visa logo on it. So why are ALL OF YOU UNDER THE IMPRESSION IT WAS A VISA? I really do NOT see any false advertising there. I personally took the time to read the terms and conditions that I was to agree to. Not hard to read and it DID explain the "merchant" card. HOW MANY OF YOU READ THE TERMS? Don't forget, the people that are trying to get this card have credit scores that suck. I was attracted to it because it said no credit check. What other options do we have? People who have crappy credit need a reality check...Visa doesn't want us. We don't pay our bills. I'm NOT getting a flat screen TV unless I pay cash for it.

I can not believe so many people can't read an application fully. I too was sent a offer for the Horizon Gold Card. I went online to the website on the post card. I typed in my information in the first page of the application and it took me to the second page. I began to put in my information in on that page as well until it asked my for a visa or mastercard. Then I was like huh. So I clicked on the link that had said terms & conditions. To my surprise as well it is a credit card for an online store. However, I did not have to pay $79.95 to find that information out. MY GOD PEOPLE READ EVERYTHING ON AN APPLICATION IF IT EVER ASKES FOR YOUR CREDIT CARD OR SS#.

I agree with everyone. I thought I was getting a valid Visa/Mastercard. I mailed the card back to the company to cancel. I will probably have to eat the $79.95. I hope other people read this page before they apply for what they think is a real Visa/Mastercard.

This card is a bunch of HOGWASH! I was told the same information, on how a person can use this card at so many different outlet links... Wrong! Can't use it for anything except garbage on the Horizon outlet site.. Want and am going to get my money back! I will probably do the same if they don't meet my request for money back, it's off to Better Business Lawyers.

My girlfriend Karen signed up for this "credit card." Sure enough, no logo. It's as viable as confederate money. Pure misrepresentation in terms of advertizing it as a credit card. No indication that it was an online store or there was maintainance and membership fees. I visited the website and all it was referral online sites like overstock.com. These people are bigger crooks than Jim Baker screwing money out of my dying grandfather in the 80's with "Donations to Ethiopian Famine." Why in 6 months of reading complaints here has no one taken this to the FTC or Consumer affairs? Class Action suits require many parties as I'm sure you know and we need to take a stand against predatory and misrepresentative card companies. If you are serious about a class action suit, email trueheart14225@yahoo.com or cseverson@earthlink.net.

I have spoken to a superviser and was offered a small

amount back plus one of the14.95 free wow!

Also was told that the online store was in the discloser

info that you read when taking the offer, did not read anything like that. when a person calls it takes
a long time and much talking to make them get you
a supervisor! I feel all of us that have been taken in
by this and lost money should each be given 500.00
or as close to that amount we can get!

I am on a fixed income. It is an absolute shame that there are such irreponsible companies defrauding the public especially those on a fixed income. If they are going to offer a card specifically for their store; they need to state that instead of participating in false advertisement. I will not be activating my card and would investigate legal action if I had the time and finances to do so.

I to was completely mislead. Nothing was said about only being able to use it on line at their Outlet. I was under the impression that it was a regular credit card that could be used at any store. I will cancel the service with them and dispute it thru my bank. I will get my money back. As the items they have for sale, its junk I'm not even sure it's new stuff, it plain junk...

This has been one of the most trying experiences I have ever gone through with a so call credit card company. No the card was not what I signed up for this has been a rip off in my life for the past 11 mos. Since 02/2007. Until I wondered onto this site and read of the complaints and how others finally got them to cancell there card. I noticed today when I mentioned the attorney generals office they were more than willing to go ahead and cancell the card. Thanks for all of your help in resolving this matter once and for all.

I was mislead about this card and what I would get from using this card. The product are junk that I can buy at the 99 cent store or at the street vendors. I want my money back. This wasn't what I am looking for at all. I can't even activate my card, or log in. I am thinking about going on the radio and report this card to the world.

I guess I'm confused what you all call a real credit card. To me a real credit card is a mastercard, visa etc... This card clearly states it not one of those cards. Anytime theirs not a visa or mc logo its obvious its not a credit card. However I do understand the concerns of there items bing junk. But how many products did they offer? Are you saying absolutely all of them are junk?

I also wish I had read some of these emails before being duped by this company promising a viable credit card. I have not tried to get a refund but it appears its next to impossible to do this. I plan on calling the company tomorrow to cancel but I bet I don't get any money back. I just don't want a service fee coming out of my checking account. Talk about ripping people off. This company is preying on people with bad credit and making false promises. If anyone would like to be included in a lawsuit against this company please contact me. I would love to be involved in a class action suit against this company. Anyone who is reading this, beware of trying to fix your credit with this kind of credit card.

I wish I had seen these comments before I fell for this SCAM. I am in agreement with Mr. Miller, maybe we should all file a class action lawsuit against these creeps. Hopefully it would stop them and all other companies like them from taking advantage of hard working people.

Same as all the other comments. I thought i was getting a credit card and i got nothing at all except for a billing on my bank statement. I don't even know that their stuff is any good because i can't log on... now that I've seen all the complaints i don't even want to.

I would like to know about the knifes i ordered through you. They said they come with a lifetime warranty , well so far three out of the case I ordered have already broke. And it ha only been a month. Please advise me how to return them and I hope I'm not going to be held responsible for shipping and handling. After all it's only been one month. Also I have a hat on back order I would like to know when I can expect to receive it.

Thank you,

I too am a victim. They are a bunch of liars, and very misleading. They say I will get $69.95 back to my account, in 72 hours at the most. We'll see about that. I'm extremely disappointed in this company. They suck.

I cant believe I paid to get this card .I want my money back. They should not be allowed to advertise on the internet. I needed a card I could use as a real card, not the crap they are selling. I am making a formal complaint to the district attorneys office in Riverhead, with Rosemarie Abbott.I should of known when they asked for the $79.00,something wasn't right. Return my Money, you damn scam artists. Try to make a real living like everyone else.

I wish that I knew that this was a scam, I also was trying to improve my credit score, what I disappointment to receive their so-called credit card today, and to look on their site, to read the e-mail that is going on, I am totally disappointed that they are able to still operate under factious circumstances.

Well let me tell you all what criminals these people really are. How dare them rip off people... I thought I had seen it all but this takes the whole cake indeed. I could have gotten a payday loan and done better for myself. Be Ware guys these people will lie out right. There merchandise is crap as well. They need to be sued by everyone of us.

I tried to order this credit card and use my debit card one night. I didn't have any money on my card because it was a prepaid card. I loaded my card one day and beam just like that I had a charge for 30.00 dollars on it. I called the number on my card statement and it was horizon. The said you ordered it. The reran my prepaid card a few days later and charged me. now thats ###ed up. I will not put a dime on that card again the wont get ### out of me. We all need to file a class action lawsuit.

When I found out it was NOT a REAL credit card, I called the 800 number to cancel... I was referred to a "supervisor", who told me he was "authorized" to make me a "deal". Here's the deal... He would cut the fee in half,... and double my credit line. That sounded ok,... 'till I found out he had not done EITHER! IT'S ALL CRAP, FOLKS! DON"T FALL FOR IT!

The card is not what they explained when i called and complained the company did not have much to say about the card, when i checked the outlet store they have all this old stuff that they are asking for more money than they should all the movies are old toys you can get at dollar store for a dollar they are asking $13.00 and more for them i though this was a card that i could use anywhere. The add did not say there outlet store it clearly said credit card that should arrive in 5 days but the card took 3 weeks getting to me. I feel they should refund everyone until they get this outlet store together by getting items peoples can use, and please add to there add this is not a credit card this is used in our outlet store only.

You know I have three children I need to buy for during these holidays. When I am told this is a $500.00 credit card that can be used ANYWHERE I expect it to be the truth. Now they withdrew money from my account for this piece of ###, and that was the money I had already been saving for my children. So now I get to go thru welfare to depend on them to buy for my kids because I was set up. I want my ###ing money back, NOW!

Ha they tell me to go to the online site... and have been run back and forth... would like to know how to get all my money back as I have had it since May... And the only thing we got wasn't worth it but my son chose to keep it... Only because it was for his collection... And they continue to take money out of my bank account... Any suggestions anyone...

I was very disappointed in receiving my horizon card. I also thought it was a credit card to help me with my credit. Should have known something was up when they charge $79 to my bank account and not the horizon card itself. If I wanted to buy junk I can go the the dollar store or any Goodwill Center. I will call them tomorrow and cancel and see what happens. I will let u know what the outcome is.
