Beware buyer. I ordered from this company Skate America 2 months ago a pair of shoes. So a week goes by, they send an e-mail apologizing for the delay and that my order will soon arrive. Next week and then again same deal as before the promised e-mail. And you can figure this has happened for 2 months now. There is no contact phone number on the site. There is only a send a note to the company and we'll contact you back shortly in which they of course do not. What am I supposed to do?? I'm sure I am not the only person this has happened to!

DON'T ORDER THROUGH SKATEAMERICA.COM!!! There are several other sites that offer the same merchandise. Back in April I ordered a hat and a shirt through skateamerica. I received the shirt in a week, along with a receipt telling me that the hat would be delivered shortly. That was almost five months ago and I have gotten nothing. I tried in every possible way to contact them, but because they don't have a phone number or email address, doing so is impossible. I'm sure they've scammed many people, there's absolutely no way to handle the problem.

Same happened to me... I am in Australia and ordered some shoes in june... still no word on them and cant get in touch with the people running the site... i am working on getting a contact though so if anyone has any ideas, let me know.

I tried the number. It's been disconnected. In the comment area of the contact form a person can't even writer anything. This company sucks and should be reported to whomever it is one reports this too. anyone have ideas?

DON'T BUY FROM SKATE AMERICA. FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU. I recieved the sunglasses in a week, along with a receipt telling me that the coat would be delivered shortly. Now I get an email saying the manufacturer has discontinued the item. The website does not have an option to get a credit refund. reputable companies AUTOMATICALLY refund your credit card with an apology when the item is not available. FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU IF THEY ARE SCAMMING YOU!

I agree with everyone on here that SA have bad services. Unfortunately I didn't know this until I got a job there. They moved to CO for those who dont know. They only stock what they think might sell and the way the site works is if something says "ships immediately" it should be in stock. But the inventory is so bad that they dont even know what they have and what they don't. I feel everyones pain and can only suggest that nobody buy from them. The owner is a man who goes by the name Mike Bornstein. Drives to work everyday in his porsche and sits there while the money pours in from unsuspecting victims such as the people who posted here. Anytime something on the site says "ships in 5-7 days" is bullshit. That means they dont have it in stock and once they place the order with the vendor, it should ship within 5-7 days after we receive it. I am disappointed to have ever worked for a place that I wouldn't ever recommend anyone to shop at. I can try and help educate people on how this shit company runs and if anyone needs phone numbers on how to contact them, I will be happy to provide this information. Lets put an end to this scam !

I can't believe I ordered from this sucky SkateAmerica! I put an order in 2 months ago. I spent 200 dollars! I ordered a T-shirt, a hoodie, a backpack, and sneakers ( All ADIO ) for my son , expecting to receive it by the time school started , they sent me only the backpack and the t-shirt, of course they sent me a white t-shirt instead of a Black one . In the package it said other items will be shipped soon, that was 2 months ago, whenever i try to send them an e-mail, I get the same response, that I should choose alternative items, the items are out of stock or they are not being manufactured anymore. So why the hell do they have everything advertised on the site if they don't even make it anymore. I tried that phone number and of course it is disconnected, so how the hell am i supposed to reach them, or get my money back? What can be done about f**king skate america, please excuse my language, but both my son and i are Pi***d! Other customers should be warned not to shop there!

Hi everyone, I'm from Italy and I've ordered form skate America on Monday. Now they ask me to send them a copy of my Driver's License via fax in order to continue with the shipping of my items. But the number they gave me does not work. I've paid 300 $ and I don't know what I can do... Can anyone help me? Thank you...

If I were you I would just cancel your order before you get in any deeper than you have. They want you to fax the info so they can verify you against fraud. Guaranteed by the time they get your fax and process your payment, the items you ordered will either be out of stock (if they even had them in stock to begin with) or they will just take your payment, and later eventually send you emails stating that you can alternate the products you ordered with something else and then just give you in store credit. TRUST ME I worked there for 7 months and know how things run! Please find somewhere else to order your items or you will NEVER get them! I posted a DIRECT phone number in Denver, COLORADO where you can contact SA.

My interaction with skateamerica. Forget the Better Business Bureau Contact your Attorney General's Consumer Division and the one in Colorado, and contact your POSTMASTER GENERAL. THEY PRACTICE MAIL FRAUD< BAIT AND SWITCH> AND DECEPTIVE TRADE PRACTICES. ALSO POST COMPLAINTS ON RIP OFF REPORT WEBSITE.

I received the following reply asking if they would reimburse the shipping fees I already paid, and will also incur due to their shipping the wrong item. "I did not check the box that was provided stating that substitutions would be OK. Yet, you advertised the ENJOI t-shirt in black, and did not give me a choice as to whether or not I wanted the other color. Clearly you are capable of email correspondence. I call this bait and switch and deceptive trade practices. I will also be notifying the Attorney General's Consumer Division and disputing the charges with my credit card company. I can't believe that anyone in this century would want to carry on such business practices. Surely the shipping expense is not worth it to expose your business practices. You also make a guarantee that you will not honor. I am including it after the quote you sent me in reply to my dissatisfaction. I believe that the fact that you consider yourselves a mailorder company constitutes mail fraud, so I will also be notifying the Postmaster General."

Why should the consumer be responsible for YOUR manufacturer and YOUR sending the wrong item, just so you can get a sale and hope that there is an idiot on the other end that will do nothing, so you can keep another dollar. NO WAY!

Oh man. I am from Malaysia and just ordered a skate shoe and a shoe goo from Skate America for about $415. Please don't treat us like that, I f**cking spent the money for months with hard work and hope to get good items but if they end up like that would be sad. And also I received an e-mail regarding the shoe goo is delayed and will be sent after 3 days. Fine, where is the tracking number? They say they will provide tracking number. Then, where is the skate shoe I have ordered? I ordered 2 items and they only sent an e-mail regarding the shoe goo. Please help me!

This company is horrible!! Beware, if you are lucky enough to get a tracking number they don't give the package to UPS, so when you try to track it you just get that it is not in the UPS system! I ordered a jacket for my son, after a month of waiting and constant complaints I finally got a tracking number, but they wouldn't actually ship the package and blamed it on UPS. I finally got the jacket but IT WAS THE WRONG ONE!! Not anything like what he ordered and is still pictured on their website. Any company that doesn't have a phone number on their website for complaints or problems with an order should be suspect. We are keeping the jacket, I'm not going to mess with these people anymore. I don't know how this guy sleeps at night. If you are waiting for an order, call them EVERY DAY until they ship it, and also call EVERYONE you can think of to complain. BTW, I called the Golden Colorado PD and told them I was having a problem with a company in their town and they knew who it was before I even told them!! Some day this guy is going down, if enough people complain about them!
