I like how ProProfs gives students the correct answers and tracks their grades on the quizzes. I never had a way outside of the classroom to help students review until finding this website! This makes a huge difference and students are able to go in and take my quizzes whenever they would like. They really appreciated the extra review and I know it helped prepare them for their national certification exams. The certificates at the end are a good boost to their self esteem as well:-) Their confidence level and enthusiasm for learning has improved. Very happy, well prepared students!

I would like to point one thing here that the use of chat is not only to get the better on line sale it is also used to provide supports to the existing clients. Live chat service on website makes the real time interactions possible. Besides that live chats softwares can be integrated with third party software that provides more functionality to both of the services. Popup are reactive in nature where as live chats can be proactive also and at last there is always a human brain sitting behind the live chat to do the brain mapping of the visitor which is not possible in case of popup which have a uniform approach to the customer.

I found ProProfs because our school had dropped a grade tracking program that had a quiz component built in. That turned out to be a "felix culpa."

I cannot say enough about this program. The first thing I noticed is how intuitive it is and readily available the help service is.

The amount of data I get for analyzing learner performance is amazing! I have one small suggestion... when my students enrolled, there was no email verification... some typed in the incorrect email and it posed a slight problem when they went to log on for the second time.

Overall, however, I am so impressed with the power, depth and ease of use of this software. As a teacher, it makes me look good!

Recently I contacted ProProfs via their Online Chat on two separate occasions within a 48-hour period. I was using their Quiz Maker and Training products for the first time. Realize my office has been using ProProfs for 2 ? years for our online presentation/quiz for approximately 300 students. The student who setup the presentation/quiz in ProProfs graduated in May. So I'm facing a deadline and am desperate. By luck I ended up chatting with Pal both times. I'm just not very computer savvy, and Pal was patient and explained the process of how to make my various updates. He even did a few things on his end that I just couldn't wrap my head around on how to do it. Students are now accessing the presentation and no one has contacted me with any issues. Which makes me extremely happy. And I couldn't have done it without Pal's help.

I am a math professor in the Orlando area and I have found that even college students need to be reviewed and quizzed on the basics of math so I attempted to create software that would test and track their results. This became an arduous task given my limited time between class preparation so I looked for online companies that could take on this task. After using the trial version of about 3 major companies ProProfs' format stood out far above the rest so I immediately upgraded to for a year's worth of services.
After a day I experienced some technical problems. I wrote the ProProfs and got a response the next day. The matter was resolved when I chatted with one of their live online techs. In a world people who fail to get back with you, slow to respond, or give ineffective solutions I am very happy for the systems of this amazing company!

We have started using ProProfs as a training platform for employees. It was easy to chat online with Pal, one of ProProfs customer support contacts. Pal is available almost any time I have a question, and I've got a LOT of questions.

While we are still working out some kinks in the reporting and speed of the site for my employees, it is currently providing everything we need. We've got employee training documents, videos, and quizzes.

We will see if the small issues get worked out, but on the grand scheme of things, I cannot rate these guys less than a 5. We talked with them about the space we would need and the rate we could go with, and they gave us the best deal for our budget. I read on one review that the different platforms get confusing, and you might end up with "Quiz Maker" when you really wanted "Training Maker" (which is what happened to us). Make sure to talk to their "Online Chat" which is always available in the lower right hand corner. They will remedy the situation, or help you get exactly what you need.

I look forward to growing our training program with ProProfs. My expectations are set high!

Proprofs provides an excellent resource for teachers and students to use as they go paperless. This program is easy to use, accessible to all who have internet and provides many interactive tools for both the learner and the professor.

The best feature that Proprofs provides is its "Training Maker" tool. By using the "Training Maker" tool, a teacher can design his or her own virtual classroom. Virtual classrooms are a wonderful plus that Proprofs offers.

Once a student of mine needed to travel abroad, She provided all the permissions and excuses that the highschool needed. Then she went to the teacher and explained that she wouldn't be able to do the homework assignments because she wasn't going to be in the country. The teacher cheerfully replied, "Don't worry, all your homework assignments can be found on Proprofs. You know that. There isn't any reason why you can't keep up with the rest of the students while you are away."

It's true! Distance isn't a problem when using Proprofs. Absent students never have an excuse for missing their assignments, because by using the features that Proprofs provides, all the assignments are posted, and saved online.

My background: 15 year, highly effective 6th grade public school math teacher in a very demanding Long Island, NY school district. I have used Proprofs now for 4 years and without a doubt still call it the very best software a teacher could implement to raise their student's level of any subject. Proprofs to me is like how the Smartboard revolutioned classrooms. If you give a weak teacher a smartboard, you do not see much productivity, but give the board or software to a creative, innovative hard working educator and you see results that are above anything.

The features are so customizable; they have covered anything that any teacher could ever need or want. Proprofs as a company is the most responsive and open to their customers as far as communication and feedback while always looking to improve.

I am not going to list everything it can do, but let's just say this. Anything you could ever need or think of, Proprofs is ready to handle. At times there may be some small issues, but this is every company. They fix things right away.

I believe what started out as a quiz maker has really developed into having students learn from the assignments; not just about questions and a grade. They are in their own niche and no one is close to what they do.

I have been so happy and every administrator or teacher I show it to, cannot believe the power of me knowing when my students did their hw, how much time spent on each question, what their % was, the ability to let them redo it to reach a target, email scores to parents if needed, ability to implement graphics in questions and answers, video responses, ability for students to see and learn from full explanations, notification every time a student finishes his/her work, open ended questions with the ability to score their answers like essays (no one has this) and much much more.

While other companies say "we can't do that in our program," over the 4 years Proprofs always says "Yes we can or we will figure out how to implement it."

Go look for another company that does what Proprofs does; you'll never find it.

I used this program to create several tests to gather data for my science classes. I don't have the time to type all of the problems I have had. I'll summarize some of the bigger ones. I made a matching test for vocab with definitions - the test randomly switched the columns. The result: students with a column of vocab words, followed by drop-down menus with 20 definitions, all shoved together. It effectively made the test unusable. The other huge problem I had was the test randomly reordered my questions to be alphabetical. Not only did this make the test a joke, but it failed to reorder the correct answers - my highest kids all "scored" less than a 10%. I wasted a tremendous amount of time trying and fixing ProProf, and a day and a half of instructional time that I won't get back.

So in response to the other reviewer - Sweet Jesus, yes, it is a piece of [censored].

The first problem in this is that there are, as said, too many ads. It is very difficult to find the quiz that I am looking for without accidentally clicking on an ad. This might also be because of the formatting. The next problem is that it is hard to find a quiz just by searching for it. The first result generally has only one key word, while some of the later results have more key words. This might be because the results are based on what is the most popular. If this is the case, it should be changed. Finally, even if I am able to get past these obstacles and take a quiz, there is a lagging problem. After I have selected an answer to a question, the "next" button just doesn't work. My server is relatively new, so it must be a problem with the website. On some rare occasion I am able to get past the first question, but because of this problem, I have never once gotten through an entire quiz.

Really bad software, let me start:
1.) They have a very complicated pricing. You can see different coupon codes all around the web, but it is very easy to get a code for the wrong plan. So instead of quizzes you buy polls, or surveys or whatever.
2.) You CANNOT EXPORT your data. That's right. There is a feature to import your surveys / quizzes from excel to proprofs. But exporting is not implemented. So they want to make sure you are stuck with their $#*!ty software forever.
3.) If you happen to be a free user (because you bought the wrong paying plan because they are like 5 different plans for all their different products and you didnt buy the right plan) than all your users see A LOT OF ADS. I mean like 3 to 5 big ads on a single screen. And usually ADS FROM YOUR COMPETITORS. So the users / customers of your product are targeted by your competitors on a survey / poll / quiz you created.
4.) Probably I am very stupid (I am just a Software Developer) but I had a lot of problems navigating the software. I nevery knew how to get to my quizzes, to my settings, to my account, etc. In the end I saved 5 different links and navigated by the links I saved myself.
5.) I had a lot of formatting problems in designing my survey. Apparently you can customize the frontend of your survey. It is kinda a you-see-is-what-you-get editor. But in my case there were apparently some formatting saved from one of my previous versions, which i could not remove. So every text on the landing page on my quiz was in bold.

Please do me and human kind a big favor and don't use Proprofs...

I accidentally found this website and decided to give it a try. So I signed up for a course and paid for it. But I was very disappointed with it because the course did not actually educate. It does not provide you any useful information and without no actual information to review regarding the test you are taken straight to the test. The course is also full of bugs and there are always some kind of errors. I wasted my time and completed the course but could not find any transcript or certificate of completion. This site is really good for those who wants to create their own test, but not for those who wants to learn something. Just a waste of money and time.

I signed up for the trial on the website www.proprofs.com. I created some quizzes, but no one of them worked. I decided to contact the support team, but they haven’t responded. Also I cancelled the trial and forgot about this website, but one week ago I received the phone call from them. I asked who it was, but they almost immediately hung up. Strange company and better don’t sign up for them.
