My Grant Site online ordering

I would like to request a refund of: $94.89 back to my card because I didn't use it to order nothing from online. Somebody used my card information without my permission. So if you could please refund my money back to my card I would appreciate it. Thank you very much.

Sincerely, Jose Armando Acosta

Billed 2.29 shipping and handling for a CD on how to get grants for College. When Credit Card statement came was Billed 39.95 for what? Never received anything and was told that it was a monthly fee. Almost looks to be a scam to me. They said the would reimburse me the 39.95. So I only got ripped the 2.29 maybe. Didn't see what was free about this place

The company listed above took out $39.95 instead of $2.95. I want my $37.00 back on my card. I have already called my bank.

I never recieved any information on how to obtain the CD, I was also charged the 39.95 without realizing the time period was over, bunch of jerks! They should be banned from stealing anyone elses money! Maybe if enough people complain they can be reported to the attorney general or the BBB.

My Grant Site unauthorized charges/credit card fraud

I was scammed by this company..authorized the website to charge $2.95 for a cd and nothing else. They charged also $39.95 to my account. I just call customer service [protected]) and they did not want to refund my money until I threatened to report them to the Better Business Bureau and getting a lawyer involved. They gave me 3 confirmations for cancelling. (they had signed me up for other sites that would charge me without my permission). They said my money would refund in my account today, we will see. If not I will get a lawer.

6/15/2009 Re: Unauthorized charges to credit card by "Google Money Profit", "Mygrantsite", and "Network Agenda"
Just to add my name to John's and others.
I found unauthorized charges on my credit card bill. I recall receiving one CD for something called ""Google money profit" that I didn't request, I threw them out thinking it was just more junk mail).
I got the charges reversed (so they say, we'll see..)by calling a call center located in the Phillipines where I found that two accounts in my name were opened with my credit card number, and charges ranging from 2.95 (for the CD;s), $7.95, $9.95, and $39.95 were applied to my card all without my authorization. Told credit card company about the unauthorized charges and they cancelled that account (and opened a new one).
Unsure so far as to how much of this I will end up having to pay.
How easy it is for crooks to separate us from our money. What authority to call? I know that these amounts of money seem small, but my searches on the web turn up dozens if not more complaints from other victims telling the same facts about unauthorized charges to credit card accounts by the same slimy operation(s). I suspect it's larger than any one of us can imagine. So, they must have paid someone a lot of money to get many this many stolen credit card numbers. (I don't know that they were stolen, I'm just echoing what the Visa Card people told me.)

My Grant Site unauthorized charges, credit card fraud

I was also scammed by this company...authorized the website to charge $2.29 for the cd, but nothing else, and the email I recieved said NOTHING about needing to cancel within 7 days or I would be charged more. I just called their customer service number [protected]) and they were at first unwilling to reverse the charges, that is until I threatened reporting them to the Better Business Bureau and getting a lawer involved. Their tune changed fast after that, and the woman gave me three different confirmations for cancelling all the subscriptions (again, they had signed me up for other sites which would charge me without my permission), and said that I would recieve my refund right away. We will see about that, but I will be on their ### until I do recieve that refund.
If you want your money back, you MUST get angry and threaten this company with legal action, do not back down and do not let them bully you. They are just a bunch of scammers and pieces of garbage, so don't feel bad about being mean to them.
I will still be reporting this to the better business bureau and seeing what else I can do to get them shut down. I am on a mission, as I'm pissed off about being scammed and I will not let this go.

My Grant Site Fraudulent charges

This site offered a FREE disc about government grants and charged $1.98 for shipping. Not only did I never receive the disc but they charged me $39.95 that was unauthorized. I have checked my emails and there is nothing from them (may have gone into junk or spam). They list a 1.800.487.7085 phone number that was automated and just said "please hold for the next available agent." It was a very poor connection with one stanza of music that just kept playing over and over again (poor quality). They did not pick up the line.

I aked for a free gov. grant pkg. which I paid shipping and handling. When I recieved it I didn't use it, . In March I was charged 39.95. I guess for the disk they sent. I than went on line and asked for a cancellation because they did not say I had to pay any additional fees. I was charged again in April and now again in May. How do I cancell this and get my money back. Do I have to change my card number. Apparantly there is nothing that allows a cancellation. I am on a fixed income and unable to pay other bills because of this.

I was charged of 2.99 for the cd that I never recieved.
Then a week after, my bank account was charged for 39.95 without my authorization.

I was told I could have a free trial period of 10 days for $2.99 and then if I stayed I would be billed 39.95 after that. However, they did not wait the 10 days. I made the order on January 22 for the $2.99, but on January 29, only 5 days later they charged me the $39.95. When I saw this on my bill I immediately called them, but they refused to give me back my money. They said I did not cancel before the 10 day period was up. I called them before the 10 day period was up, but too bad for me because they all ready charged my credit card. I would like to get my money back for 2 good reasons. One: I never even received the kit I was suppose to get in the mail and Two: I called before the 10 days was up and they refused to cancel or give me my money back. I hope you can help.

I signed up to pay $2.95 for a CD and got charged an additional $39.95.
I called the number at their site to try to get my money back. They said they would credit me back. I haven't seen the money or my free CD. Now I've gotten calls from other "free grant sites" asking me for yet more money for additional forms. This is a major scam with a major investment in it. The jerk that set this up has the money to invest while its out of my pocket. These people should be sent to jail.

My Grant Site - credit card fraud

I ordered a cd about how to apply for government grants and was told that I would be charged $2.95. They said that the cd was free and I just had to pay for shipping. I just got my cc statement and they charged me $39.95. This is credit card fraud and if $39.95 is not credited back to my card by the end of February, 2009. I will contact the Texas Attorney...

I odered a CD for $2.90, spoke with a supervisor and explained that I did not want any additional charges to my credit card and was told that There would be no additional charges but the company has been charging my account $39.95 fradulently for the last four(4)months. I am very upset and I think these SCAM artist should be STOPPED! They are using President Obamas name as a selling tool which is the only reson I purchased the CD in the first place. I spoke with my bank and they have said that they will reimburse me after the investigation. I also called the White House and spoke with the Presidentsexecutive Office to Lodge a complaint and to Alert the President about his name being used in this SCAM.. I have also contacted my Govenor and my state and localRepresentative and I am convienced that something will be done about these SCAM artist. I hope this helps everyone who has been taken by these people and I wish everyone luck on getting there monies returned.

On 3/12/09, I responded to an ad on the internet for a FREE CD for information concerning "free government grant funds & how to request the funds" for "Shipping & Handling" of $2.29 only. Unfortunately, I gave WWWGRANTSITECOM my bank card number. On 3/20/09, this same website charged my bank account with a $39.95 charge. The $39.95 was totally unauthorized and fraudulent; and to date -3/25/09- have not received any FREE CDs. There has to be a way to stop this kind of robbery.

(2) companies have been charging my MC for the past several months. I purchased a CD for $2.95 in Feb 09 from the WWWMYGRANTSITE, but never signed up for any memberships, or have given these (2) companies approval to charge my account for any reasons. NetworkAgenda.com is a sister/third party company of WWWMYGRANTSITE.

Here are the disputed charges:
3/18/09 NetworkAgenda.com $9.95
4/19/09 NetworkAgenda.com $9.95
5/19/09 NetworkAgenda.com $9.95
6/19/09 NetworkAgenda00 of 00 $9.95 (changed name)

3/5/09 WWWMYGRANTSITE00 of 00 $39.95
4/5/09 WWWMYGRANTSITE00 of 00 $39.95
5/5/09 WWWFEDGRANTUSA $39.95 (changed name)
6/4/09 WWWFEDGRANTUSA $39.95

I have contacted WWWFEDGRANTUSA, and they have agreed to refund (3) of the (4) payments. Also, I am still attempting to contact NetworkAgenda00 of 00, to dispute the charges for a refund. I am also in the process of reporting these (2) companies to BBB.
