We empathize with you and understand your disappointment in not winning so far. However, we ensure you that the For10cents.com‘s bidding system is built to be fair, just and affordable. The entirety of winning or losing an auction depends on other participants bidding for the auction at any given time. These participants use several different strategies and approaches to win the bids. For10cents.com team bears the responsibility of website upkeep and administrative services.

Neither employees of our corporation nor their relatives are allowed to play or bid on our website. We are the only website which accounts for all our daily operations and publish the report of submitted bids online. The winners of the auction are real individuals that are not connected to the company at all. We are working with several institutions that has already requested such evidences.

Please, remember that Terms & Conditions of For10cents.com are available on the website and clearly explain the rules of the service. Service is available only for adults over 18 years old who have a full capacity to understand that by registering the account agree to our Terms & Conditions. We have worked hard to explain the bidding and auction processes through our Terms & Conditions in order to promote full disclosure.

I have tried over the last two days to figure out how this works...I buy bids as many or few as I want. I then bid a penny at a time which seems to take forever. If I would be lucky enough to win do I then have to pay more to get the item? If so how am I getting such a great deal if I have to spend $300.00 dollars in bids and then have to pay the amount I bid to be the winner the only people getting a great deal is "for10cents.com" now if I am wrong about this sorry 10cents. But have to agree with geegee01 all of the above named players are still on the site spending their hard earned cash.

Terms and conditions say 8 bids per month?

What a crock. I've begun keeping a spreadsheet, and can tell you that one winner alone has won 6 auctions already TODAY, and the day is only half over, and he's already lead bidder on many other auctions.

I'll publish my experiences soon on a website, which will include screenshots and access to the data that I've been collecting.

And when they try to tell you that they make their winners available - that is true. But if you notice the auctions that have ended are only '"""SELECTED"""" auctions, and half of the finished auctions never make the list.

Some auctions disappear altogether (and I'm NOT talking about the ones that are continued from one day to another). These auctions that disappear waste the buyer's expensive bids, never to see them again.

I've contacted the company by email about this, and have had no response. So soon, I will share with everyone proof of their inconsistent and unfair practices.

By the way - that particular winner that I mentioned has, since I've been counting for the past few days, won 13 auctions.

Terms of Service?

They are only "terms" if you enforce them. Other than that, they are wasted fonts on a page with no real meaning, and only to be applied when it benefits the company, not the consumer.

Here you go, terms and conditions, numbers 10 and 11

10. A User shall be limited to winning a maximum of 8 Auction items within any 30-day period. Upon reaching the maximum 8 Auction items, the User will not be qualified to win another Auction item within this time period. This limitation applies to individual items of merchandise and Bid Packs.

11. A User shall be limited to wining a maximum of 8 Bid Packs Auctions within any 30-day period. Upon reaching the maximum 8 Bid Pack Auctions, the User will not be qualified to win another Bid Pack Auction within this time period. This limitation applies to Bid Packs Auctions only.

HERE IS PROOF that the company ignores it's own terms and conditions. These are auctions/items won, by date, for one person alone:

16-Aug-09

200 bids - doobiegreen

17-Aug-09

200 bids - doobiegreen
visa 50$ gift card - doobiegreen
200 bids - doobiegreen
200 bids - doobiegreen
500bids - doobiegreen
apple wireless mouse - doobiegreen
visa 500$ gift card - doobiegreen

So, I count 8 auctions won in 2 days by this ONE person. Trust me when I tell you that there are others who are just as close to those terms and condition violations in the past 2 days. I'll show you the data if you think I'm lying.

Here's a screenshot of just a FEW of the auctions won TODAY alone by that one particular bidder:

Sorry, it didn't attach the screenshot, so I'll try it in a different file format...

Keep in mind that I can show you this kind of data for many OTHER bidders, not to single this one out, but it is what it is.

Yesterday, dragan78 won 5 auctions. Krissy24 won 4 auctions, littlejeep84 won 3 auctions... ONE DAY ALONE, these people are winning almost all of their total monthly allotments, and they are back on and bidding day to day to day.

i spent money on this site too, but i've unfortnatly spend more time than everyone on here, i've won 7 items, and 7 bid packs, so idk why you other people couldn't win i feel bad, and maybe you were ripped off. "Doobiegreen" either works for the company or bought the 10, 000 bid pack. i've single handly have watched him drop over 4, 000 bids on one item. the others as well but wanic i remember his name from bidcactus.com so i believe he is a real person,
This is the problem everyone is having with the site, they opened on July 24th i was a member even before this time, after i won my first item, they accussed me of voilating there terms and conditions, i guess they were right my father had his own account on the website and so they cancelled my order i was mad and fought for it but lost, see i too think it all a scam,
I kept pursing tho hoping it was a legit site see it takes up to 14 days just for them to process your order AKA they go buy it from the store or order it online from ebay probably, then you have to wait for shipping which they probably ship the cheapest way so it takes even longer.
i've won an item 2 weeks ago so i'm excpeting it in the mail within a week or two if i get it then i will let you all know!! if not i'll rip this site a new one

I am a member of this site as well. I do support them. The site actually wanted proof that my fiance and I had different addresses. We had to fax copies of our ID's for different addresses because of using the same IP address from time to time (being at each others house). They did this even though we don't bid on the same items. I think it's a safety net to ensure that one person isn't going over their items won by just having a different name/ID. THEY DO BLOCK AFTER YOU WIN YOUR 8 ITEMS. I have won and beat doobie green on that site. I think doobie green just has more time and money than he has good sense. I do try to avoid auctions with him because he runs the price up. He cannot be a bot because he autobids and single bids on top of that (double bidding). It is funny to watch but very annoying I will agree. It has made me spend more money than I would like too but you have bullies on every site, swoopo included. If you really want to see a scam site and bots, go to BIDLEW.com. I cannot believe those guys get away with what they are doing there!! I believe for10cents.com is fair and 100% on the up and up. They can't control silly users. All you can do is wait for them to get their wins and go away. I don't think the wins include the bid packs. Bid packs are 8 and items are 8. I think maybe that's where the confusion is coming in.

I would just like to say that I work for a company that for10cents.com buys some of the products from and they are legit. I have shipped many of items for them in the past month to many people all over the USA. Some people have have won more than one item but its not the same people most of the time. Hope this helps some of you.

You people dont know what your talking about. My user name is syn410. I have bid on this site mainly because its the cheapest and i ami young so that helps lol. What you dont understand is YES it sais you can only win 8 auctions per month. But once you sign up it shows that you have 8 slots for won ITEMS, but also your allowed to win 8 BIDPACKS. Bidpacks are not counted as items. Im not sure is it mentions this in the terms and conditions, but these are the facts. I feel like this site is probably the best one I found followed by rockybid.com and zoozle.com. I like this site but i have spent $200 on items and won an ipod shuffle 1GB ($50), cologne ($60), iPod speakers ($40), and a bidpack so im kinda at a loss. I think with some research tho you can find the good deals (the ones that never get a lot of bids). If you need to contact me just email me at syn410@gmail.com. I probably wont be back on this site so email me for a reply.

Just an additional note the prices in ( ) after the items I have won are their retail value, not what I paid for them. All in all I spent $200 and won 3 items, 1 bidpack, and have xxx bids remaining. the last part was a warning for when you see me on their in a few days lol. Now that i think of it I may be ahead and not at a loss afterall...

Also have been notified by phone that one item was not availiable. The woman I spoke to was very pleasant and helpful. I will receive a check for the amount of the item I won..I received e-mail confirming shipments of items I won.I am very happy with this site.
