Cleverbridge took money from credit card without authorization

i have an unauthorized withdrawl from my credit card from www.cleverbridge.net koeln of roughly $25. i want it back and want this not to happen again. how should i go about doing this!

Based on your comment, you are not sure who cleverbridge is or what their name is doing on your credit card statement. Since we are an e-commerce company and process payments, our name appears on credit card statements in place of the company from whom you purchased the product. This information is provided to you on the website that you purchased the product from, on the checkout page in the shopping cart, and on the receipt that is sent to your email upon completion of your purchase. Also, by doing a quick search on this forum or on Google for ‘cleverbridge’, you will see that other customers have had the same inquiry as you and have had all their questions answered.

Since we do not want to deliver personal information on a public forum, we kindly ask that you contact us directly so that we can provide you with further information regarding your order. - Three e-mails with the subject line “Payment due for your ActiveProtection” are sent 30, 15, and 5 days before the charge, respectively, informing the user that ActiveProtection would be charged unless you canceled. Had these mails been returned to us as undeliverable, your subscription would have been canceled automatically.

Uniblue ActiveProtection gives you:
- the latest version updates downloaded directly to your PC
- unlimited online expert support
- the ability to install the software on three PCs

Without Uniblue ActiveProtection your Uniblue software will not be updated and will be unable to solve the very latest PC problems and system issues.

When you signed up for this subscription, you agreed to yearly charges for Uniblue ActiveProtection.

To avoid confusion, we work very hard to inform customers of the subscription to avoid customer confusion and dissatisfaction, as such:

- Uniblue ActiveProtection is described on the order form.

- A link to cancel ActiveProtection is very clearly shown on the final page of the order process and in the delivery e-mail sent to confirm your order.

I would suggest that uniblue not auto renew subscriptions to software. I have some of their software and like the others was not aware it would automaticly renew. They should send notification at least 30 days in advance and give people the option of renewing or not. Auto renewal with out notification is bad business. I personally do not like it and will now cancel my subscription for that very reason. I do not give anyone authority to conduct transactions without my approval at time of transaction. PERIOD!

I have not and did not order anything from Cleverbridge. I want this charge credited back to my credit card. There was $30.25 charged that I did not approve.

Transaction date: October 31 2009.
Since I have not used any of their services nor made any purchase form the companies they are operating for, I am not aware under which member ID they keep my membership information. I purchased cleverbridge systweak REf;- Number [protected] invoice date 17-06-2012 costing £31-71 on a 30 day trial money back gaurantee. After installing the package my computer has frozen up and slowed down to almost a stop. As a result of this I have uninstalled both packages the second one bought on the 25-6012 costing £31-71 which, has made my computer even worse.
I therefore wish to cancel mt subscription and ask for a full refund of all money paid over to you

Cleverbridge scam

I recently was checking my Credit Union Online Account, and found this company had taken $29.95 plus a separate charge of .30 fee off of my account, and I contacted my Credit Union about it, because I inew I had not charged anything or written any checks to this company, nor have I heard of it. That is why I am not able to give you their address, city, or anything else. The Credit Union told me to contact the company, but I can't find them, and am turning to you for help. I believe I have been scammed, and I need to find out what to do to get these illegeal charges off my checking account. Can you please help me? I am on Disability, and live on one check per month, and of course I am willing to pay my bills, but not when I did not buy anything.

I bought resume software and was charged 3 times by this company, all three times were for $32.95 plus an international transaction fee there are three charges on my credit card one every day until I noticed it and contacted my bank and informed them this is fraud! My bank has since shut down my accounts and is now investigating. Do not order Resume Maker professional because that is what I did and I paid over $90 for software that was only $29.95!

Cleverbridge cleverbridge.net koeln false charging me

In checking, I detected a false charge from Cleverbridge.net Koeln, that I did not purchase anything from them. There had been an instance when I noticed the "Blu" mess showing up on my computer, and I deleted it. I now have a $29.95 plus a separate $0.90 charge on my bank statement. The charge was made on 11/18/09.
I would like to see this mess stop!

I have paid twice for the same service. Cleverbridge took $29.95 from my account on 10/11/09 and then Paypal paid Cleverbridge for the same amount ($29.95) on 10/15/09. Please return the amount of the first payment( $29.95) to my account.

Yes I too have been ROBBED by this clevebridge. Unbelievable, they took me for two payments one for 24.95 and another for 29.95. This is three or four months later after I bought their stupid TUNE UP UTILITIES SOFTWARE for 29.95 and it stopped working, messed up the rest of my computer worse than its ever been before making it where I didn't have a choice but to spill more money into their shady service which does nothing but ruin the consumer's world. I hope this message gets across to the rest of you who have been screwed so hard by these moth@$##$@'s who need to go out and get a real job and suck it up like the rest of us. Isn't it enough that the working class putz gets it put to him or her everyday by the so called "government"? Now we have to sit back and take it from completely useless pieces of [censor] like you. Give me my money back [censor]...Now! Or I am going to do nothing left with the rest of my time on this planet but spend every last waking moment in an effort to expose you for the typical [censor] internet scam that makes everybodies life miserable. Trust me, I know you will do something underhanded to mess my computer up even worse than you already have. I did not get the product even though I paid - Avira Premium Security!
Receipt included, I mean I have all documents! - They tried to gate paid twice for the same service. Cleverbridge took €39.90 from my account on 30/11/09 - Please Return the amount of the first payment( $29.95) to my account.

Your (bill broker) tried to charge 2 times - In commerce, double billing is the error of charging a customer twice for the same unique product. Please, return the sum back, you have got a dishonest employees, perhaps?

Cleverbridge bogus charge

I received a charge on my credit card for 29.95 purchased on 10-13-2009, and posted on 10-14-2009. I was not at home for those two days, and did not make any online purchases.

Cleverbridge cannot get software to work and there is no ph# to contact anyone for support

Download software from Uniblue on two cow's website and billed by cleverbridge.net koeln. There is no customer. support for their products. No phone numbers to call. Try emailing to Uni blue, with no response. All I'm trying to do is to get a software that suppose to clean the registry that i purchase after their free check up told me all the errors I had, and it clean 20 of them and to clean the rest I need to pay. I got charge 29.95 and 39.95 on 9/16/09

on December 31 www.cleverbridge.net koeln debited my credit card [VISA of Capital One] for $29.95. I am unaware of any such charge and have tried to locate the exact source.

Without understanding this charge I am extremely reluctant to pay for this charge.

How may I discover the nature of this charge?

although we have immediately contacted the customer after receiving a complaint, here is a response to the comment above:

Our company cleverbridge which is based out of Cologne Germany (with offices in Chicago), is the e-commerce partner of a variety of software manufacturers worldwide. We process orders and payments on behalf of our clients.

We at cleverbridge aren't allowed by law to charge customers unless they willingly provide us with their payment information.
In this case the customer placed an order for a software product on June 9th, and was confused because he saw our name (cleverbridge) on the credit card statement, instead of the software manufacturers.

There is however always a note at the bottom of our shopping cart that displays that the charge will appear as www.cleverbridge.net Koeln.

Though we already have contacted the customer directly to clear out any misunderstandings, we're here to answer any questions.

Have just received my Vanquis Credit Card statemnt and find that on th 23rd. August there is a transaction from cleverbridge.netkoeln DF for £23.74 of which I know absolutely nothing about. How do I get this amount refunded?

Cleverbridge - unauthorised debit

On checking my credit card details, I have had an unauthorised debit of $29.95 from the above website made on 7 Sept 2009. I have no idea who they are or for what this money has been taken for. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

I was charged for $ 9.99 on Aug. 15, 2009. I have no idea what this charge is for. I will be calling the company after I fill out this form. It said it was for a download that occured online, but didn't give what it actually was.

I am looking at my bank statement and see that I am charged 29.95 for something and .90 for International Transaction Fee. I would very much like to know what I received and who this was paid to.

Cleverbridge unauthorized bank withdrawal

On 5 / 1 www. Cleverbridge. Net koeln de made a withdrawl from our checking account in the amount of 29. 95,
Then again on 5 / 18 calling themselves online info agency for 1. 95, then again on 5 / 20 / 09 in the amount of 39. 95, leaving the phone numbers of [protected] then again on 6 / 1 / 09 for 9. 95 with [protected] calling themselves online svc, and again on 7 / 02 / 09 in the name of id shield for 9. 95 with phone number [protected].
After careful research cleverbridge. Net processes charges and fee's for online downloadable software - but beware of any products you download from the web - the price you pay is not the only one you will ever be charged - remedy to this situation is change your bank account debit / credit card number"s with the bank - origin of who uses this processing company is uniblue system's tweaker - if you purchase this product - beware of following charges thereafter often using other names and number's that are unmaned phone lines.

I agree. Cleverbridge appears to be a company that's just there to take money but after the money has been paid they don't feel obligated to provide any product or service. Twice now, I've had to file a dispute because they can't even send something as simple as a confirmation email that contains my registration info. They use the excuse that it "went to spam" but I regularly check my spam when I'm expecting an order or an email and there is no email in either. Cleverbridge are a highly deceptive company and if you see a shopping cart that uses them, RUN!

I was charged $21.67 on my credit card. Whats funny is I had a 0 balance and haven't used the card in over a year. I saw the charge that was placed for two days ago when I was home all day. In fact the card was in the safe for over 7 months. I know this was fraud!

I just found a charge on my bank account for 29.95 which I did not authorize. I do not know who this company is and I do not want their service. I want this money back into my account immediately... I am careful about where I enter my account information so it concerns me how they got my information.( sawzaw )

Cleverbridge - billing

www.cleverbridge.net have performed an unauthorized billing on one of our accounts. We have contacted them and filed a complaint and ordered them to stop if it is a reccuring payment. If we don, t get any response from them we have to cancel the credit card to prevent future billings. Best regards Helge Vikan Norway [protected]@gmail.com
