ChooseARoom Reservations

My call to a Best Western, family owned hotel was intercepted by a representative from choosearoom.com and I have been completely scammed. They failed to identify themselves as someone other than the hotel I THOUGHT I was calling, and when I went to change the reservation after only 10 minutes on the phone I was told I couldn't because it was PREPAID, something I was not informed about. They put me on hold for the cancellation department for over 15 minutes, and then the rep in the cancellation dept wanted me to answer a long list of questions which by this time I refused to do since all my red flags were up that this is a SCAM operation. I was told my credit card would be refunded but in fact, they only partially refunded because they hit me with a fee that I shouldn't have been charged based on their policy. THEY LIED to the credit card dispute department rep and said I made the reservation a day earlier thereby exceeding the 24 hour deadline for cancelling. Fortunately I have emails proving the actual reservation date and will hopefully the credit card company will come through. In the meantime, I have to write a letter and provide full documentation as to what really happened. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Email came from [protected]@partnerfusion.com but the company is either choosearoom or what's on my credit card statement CCI*HOTEL*RESERVATIONS. Telephone is [protected] TX [protected] US

I, m another one duped. Lead to believe I was talking to Best Western Monticello Ky. two rooms for 7 nights each room. Had to leave early, used I room 2 nights, second room 4 nights. Assured by BEST WESTERN they had only charged for nights used. I have absolutely been given the runaround by both BEST WESTERN and most definitely by CCI hotel reservations . Have been told CCI was waiting for e mail from BEST WESTERN who they refer to as their partners. I, m out about $1000.00 and am worn out with calling both parties. What next? Any suggestions please. If it matter I am a Senior, very senior. Help.

I booked a reservation with the Double Tree Airport Hotel in Ontario, California... like the others, I thought I was speaking with the hotel reservation desk, and booked my room... I have a $252.66 dollar charge on my credit card for the reservation AND another $216.44 for my actual stay... WTF... still on "hold" trying to get this resolved!

I did too. I thought I was talking to the official reservation site for Hampton Inn in Cedar City. It took forever to make reservations. Now to my dismay I find this was not Hampton. He did not identify himself as being with the hotel. Now I've received a fee of $12.99 (booking fee). I'm MAD.

ChooseARoom Just a bunch of scammers

I have booked a hotel stay two months in advance via www.choosearoom.com service. I paid for the room and received a payment confirmation message.
One day before the vacation I contacted ChooseARoom customer care service just to ask something about the hotel, and their rep said that our booking was cancelled about a month ago!
The worst part is that no one from ChooseARoom bothered to contact us! They never said anything and we were left without a place to stay!
I asked for a refund and they refused to give my money back. Are you kidding? They cancelled the room I paid for and refused to refund me.
I would not recommend ChooseARoom to anyone. Just a bunch of scammers!

ChooseARoom don't use this company!

I wanted to book room, but wasn't sure about that. So I cancelled my reservation about 5 minutes after making it. I contacted customer support asking if everything was fine and was told that they sent me a cancellation email. But I didn't receive anything. I called again requesting a cancellation email and was told they need some time to do it. The next day I checked my mail and it was empty. I called my bank to stop the payment and they said they couldn't do anything. I had no other choice, so I filed a dispute. Ridiculous company.

ChooseARoom The company has wrong ad and they took wrong sums for the hotel rooms

OMG. The company www.choosearoom.com has wrong ads and it was difficult to deal with them. I have booked hotel room for one night, and it was written in the ad that it was $97.99 per night. But the company has charged me for $180. Why is there such difference? I asked the rep already, but he started to tell some nonsense and told this sum was taken for some additional services. WTF?

ChooseARoom There are hotels on the website, which don't function

Never book hotel rooms through the company www.choosearoom.com. We found the hotel, but it was out of business. But money somehow was taken from us. When we found out about this mistake, we immediately asked to return money back. The rep promised to provide refund, but he lied to our faces and we still haven’t received the whole sum back. Don’t book through them.

ChooseARoom They refused to help me and change the dates of the reservation

I booked hotel room through the website www.choosearoom.com, but I made the mistake. I mixed the days, but I noticed it only after 30 minutes after reservation. I sent multiple emails to the online chat agents, but these jerks refused to change the dates and helped me. They told to book new room. The worst services. They are liars and scammers, and I want to find other deceived customers, who lost money. Please we need to stop this company and return our money. Post your comments.

I attempted to book a reservation at Courtyard Carolina Beach hotel in NC on November 20, 2017. I followed a link provided to me by the organization to book a room. The rooms were being held as a block by the organization€ at a reduced rate of $67.30 per night, as we members are all government employees. There was an issue with the Marriott website, and somehow I received a page with a telephone number to contact. When I called the number, I explained my situation. The individual placed me on hold and returned, telling me there were no rooms available in the block€ because they had all been booked. He explained my only option was to book at a much higher rate if I wanted to attend. I reluctantly agreed after he informed me I had no choice. The person then took my information and assured me I would be texted a confirmation number as well as an email of my booking and contact information. I never received the text or the email confirmation. I called the organization to complain. They checked with the Courtyard Carolina Beach hotel and responded back there were still a large number of rooms available at the reduced rate of $67.30. I was billed by PriceLine for $496.08 for 4 nights. I contacted PriceLine, who told me Choose A Room was an affiliate of theirs and I must contact them directly. I have contacted Choose A Room by email but they haven't responded. I used the information above to contact ReservationCounter, LLC.This is straight up FRAUD. I do not appreciate the individual pretending to be from Courtyard and telling me there were no reservations left.

DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE! They will charge you $100 + extra PER ROOM PER NIGHT ALONG with taxes and fees that are extremely too much. They were not willing to refund my credit card! LESSON LEARNED HERE - Book reservations through the hotel! AGAIN, DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE!

I entered the name of a hotel in Texas in a search engine. The site came up and I clicked on it. I called the toll free number and spoke with a female with a foreign accent. I told her what I needed, asked the rate and told her that I had seen a less expensive rate on a web site. She assured me that the rate she gave me was correct and that if I had booked online, that the charges would immediately been taken from my account and not waiting until our check out at the hotel like it would be with them. I had from the beginning asked if I was speaking directly to the hotel in question and the reply was yes. I booked the room, gave the person calling herself "Marla" my debit card information, got the confirmation number and felt I had accomplished my goal. This morning, I called the 800 number for our checking account only to find out that the nearly $500 had already been deducted from our account. I immediately began calling first, the hotel who said that I had not booked with them, that my reservation was a "prepaid" reservation. I was given a phone number to call and, again, after repeating my dilemma once again to yet another person, another foreign accent, that my reservation was not with them. I checked my e-mail for the confirmation and found the phone number for ChooseARoom and called them. I was told that they could cancel my reservation; however, my money would not be returned to my checking account for 3-5 business days. Amazing how they can take your money instantly, but it can't be returned in the same manner. Two phone calls later, I was given a "case number" and was told that my complaint was sent to their "elevation department" and that within 2-3 hours I would receive an e-mail regarding the return of my money. Six or more hours later, I called again, speaking to yet another foreigner. When I asked where they are located, I was told South America, Honduras to be exact. This time, I went through my entire nightmare again, only to be told that it could actually take 3-10 business days to get my money returned to my checking account. There has to be a way to stop foreigners from interfering with business that is supposed to be with or for a U.S. citizen, U.S. company. If anyone has any suggestions, I would truly appreciate them. Our trip to attend our new grandchild's baptism has turned into a nightmare. On the brighter side, I did finally contact the hotel in question and talked to an American and booked our room and no, they don't take your money until you check out. I am sick to my stomach, literally.

I recently had issues with this website as well. Has your issued been resolved? I tried finding any information I could on the website. They state they are affiliated with priceline.com, but I contacted priceline and they denied the claim. I tried filing a claim with the Better Business Bureau but they indicated the company wasnt found. Do you have any more information regarding the website such as where they are out of, where they are registered, etc?
