I was charge $37.50 to my credit card on July 7 for the above sample product which I was only supposed to be charge 6.95 for shipping on the sample which was charge to my credit card on July 8th. I am disputing the charge of $37.50 to my credit card company as I have canceled any further orders with your company by internet. I still haven't received any product from your company as yet. I have advised my credit card company not to accepted any more charges from your company.

I was also charged 69.87 CAD on the 15th July and 7.90 CAD on the 2nd July. I have received no product or communication and would like the 69.87 refunded to my credit as I did not authorise this payment. I do not want any product or services from this company and have sent an email to 'info@ultra-greentea.com' with my contact details. I expect to hear from someone from this company explaining the charges and when they will be reversed. It was very difficult to find contact details for your company on line. I WOULD LIKE TO CANCEL ALL SERVICES AND PRODUTCS FROM THIS COMPANY.

I was charged69.87 after I was told it would only cost me 4.35 for shipping.

I received the product and it was not satisfactory. I ended up discarding it thinking it wouldn't matter since it was so cheap.

Later that week I had been looking through my bank statement and saw that my Visa was charged 69.87 by DRI ultra green.

$69.87 seems to be the magic # for I too have had my VISA Account charged as well as the other magic # of $37.50. I have received product but even if the stuff turns out to work, why would I re-order anything with what appears to be an unethical company.

I was also charged 69.87 when i thought i was only paying shipping and handling. Did others get their money back? If so how did you go about doing it??

I just had the same thing happen. I ordered the free sample for 6.95 shipping.
Then there was the added 37.25 charge (both of which were 02 Jul 08)

Then today I noticed that there was a 69.87 charge posted 16 Jul 08!! WTF!?!?! Definitely not my purchase!!!

This is BS and companies and practices like this need to be dealt with HARSHLY through legal action. However, it is unlikely that will ever happen. :(

Good luck to everyone getting their money back. I'm making a few phone calls in the morning!!!

I was charged an additional $34.95 for a product I didn't order. I was supposed to receive a sample for the cost of shipping, $4.95, but I got charged the extra money for something...not sure what. Haven't received any product as of today.

I was charged the same thing, yet, i was only supposed to be charged $4.95, I got charged $69.87...does anyone know how to call in a complaint and discontinue my product? Wasn't I only supposed to be charged for the shipping?

Same thing happened to me!! I have only ordered the free sample trial and should be charged for the shipping only. I have copied the terms and conditions of the DRI ultra green tea below. This is ridiculous! How am I supposed to cancel my subscription when I never received the product! Please go on this website to file a complaint about the company, I already file one. Thanks!

http://www.ic.gc.ca/epic/site/oca-bc.nsf/en/home

The exact same thing has happened to me as everyone else. I wanted the trial package for $6.95 and was charged that on July 8 and also another charge of $37.70 on the same date. As of July 27th I have still not rec'd any product and now there is a charge on my credit card dated July 24 for $69.87. I have called their number that shows up on my credit card statement and could only leave a message. But I am putting in a complaint to my credit card company Monday morning. Let me tell you heads are gonna roll!! I am pissed!!! And as the person above me states how can I cancel a product that I have never friggin rec'd.

I was also charged 69.87 after I was told it would only cost me 6.95 for shipping.

I received the product and it turnerd out not to work. I also ended up discarding it thinking it wouldn't matter since it was so cheap.

When I received my credit card statement and saw that it was charged 69.87 by DRI ultra green, I jumped!

Can anyone prevent this to happen again to honnest people ?

I called the number on my credit card statement and told them that i had naot even recieved the trial order and was already charged for another shipment. They told me they would refund the $69.87 for the next shipment and cancel my subscription (that you apparently sign up for) so i can have a chance to try the product first.

I also fell the victim of this perfect scam...I however tried to cancel my order by calling the toll free number listed on their web site...After several tries, I realized that the phone goes right to voice mail, therefore it goes nowhere..what a bunch of bullshit..I'm going to call my credit card company as I am still receiving those stupid tea bags

I have a similar issue in that the 1 month free trial offer was actually 2 months worth of products which incurred a charge for 1 month plus freight to NZ (which was at the highest insured rate)
In addition there is this phantom internet slimming club, which I cannot remember seeing in the fine print, and which has cost me several charges totalling around $20.

In the end I phoned America (at my own cost) and was subjected to the recited advertisement whilst trying to sort out a refund. It was explained that in signing up for the trial I had also signed up for monthly billing at approximately $95 NZ a time, although 3 months worth of product would be sent at one time.

Wu-Yi have agreed to refund the 2 months I have been billed for once I return (via insured mail at my expense) the 3 months supply. I think I have been allowed to retain the second half of the first box without charge. However, the email I received is somewhat confusing so I could be wrong.

I am not quite sure about American law but where I come from, this would be called sharp practice and I would be contacting the trade authorities to invoke the Consumer Guarantees Act.
