Woolworths staff members talking about personal matters that does not involve them

I am a regular customer at woolworths in cootamundra as i live in the town this matter has been going on for awhile and is progressively getting worse.It has been brought to my attention that there is members of staff conveying information to other members of the public about how often i attend the store and what i purchase while im in the store.As a result of this i have been approached by these so called members of the public and they have questioned me on why i visit the store so frequently and why i purchase what i buy.Because of the actions of the staff in Woolworths Cootamundra i feel need to shop elsewhere as this makes me feel uncomfortable and anything that i purchase in that store should be the business of me and me only also as a result of this i feel that if no action is taking that i will not shop in any further woolworths stores and will also be advising other people on what is going on in the cootamundra store.As i feel everyone is entitled to privacy and i do not think it is good conduct that the store workers should be speaking about other customers business or what they shop for

Yes I too have had bad experiences with Woolworths Cootamundra store
Many out of date products on shelf.
For the last 3 days I have been trying to buy fresh cream to put in my morning coffee but out of date or near expiry date cartons of cream left on shelf. I was told until this stock is sold it is not replaced.
I do not know why we are expected to buy out of date dairy products and Woolworths Cootamundra obviously Woolworths do not care about their customers.

Woolworths rude, unfriendly service manager

Today (29th September) i visited Woolworth Kellyville, NSW, 2155 and the young service manager came across very moody and unpolite. Not only did she treat myself rudely she also seemed to be quite rude to other young staff members when talking to them. She seemed disinterested in her job and caught her texting while walking down the shop.
I hope next time i shop here she has a better attitude towards customers, her staff members and her job otherwise it is not giving customers an enjoyable experience when shopping here.
However, All the other cashiers were lovely and very approachable on the day.

Woolworths rude employee (cashier)

Yesterday, 22-09-2015, I visited Woolworths Supermarket, Bentley, Perth at around 5:30 PM with my baby. The cashier, a girl, was very rude and impolite. When I tried to return a feeding bottle, she refused to take it back telling that my baby made it dirty by playing with it. Well, if this is the kind of customer service you guys are showing then woolies will be out of the business within no time. At least tell your employees to treat customers with good demeanor.

Woolworths payment not received

My father had a Woolworth account and when he died (In 2012) I went to the Pavilion Woolworth (in Durban, South Africa) to close his account. He did not owe instead Woolworth owed him about R2000 which I was told was from the insurance on his account. We were asked to hand in documents which we did however till today we have not received that amount owed to my father. I went to a different store at Galleria Mall also in Durban, South Africa. They asked for the same documents however we still did not receive the money owed to us. I followed up with both stores but could not get anywhere till I gave up on the issue. This all must have happened between April and May 2012 I do not have exact dates. I am highly disappointed with Woolworth for being dishonest.

Woolworths payment letter

I am really dissapointed with the service that I recieved from Woolworths(Recovery Department). Woolworths did hand me over to MBD for not paying my account which is fair enough. I managed to pay my account which I was in credit of R600. I requested the paid up letter but Woolworths informed that I need to speak to MBD on [protected]/3 or [protected] I did but they refered me back to Woolworths saying that they dont have my details and they cant give me the paid up letter. I called Woolworths on [protected] on [protected] at 15:25 my last contact with them and spoke to Siyanda and Sumeiya and they said they cant assist me I need to speak to MBD because my account is blocked only MBD can assist. It is more than six months now of going back and forth with these 2 entities which is frustrating. To cut the matter short I need to now the status of my account and to get the paid up letter and to close the account and be refunded my money. If no assistance I need to contact the attorneys and Woolworths will be liable for the charges incured because they dont want to assist me.The whole thing is affecting me to get the credit (ITC).Please can somebody assist.

Woolworths pricing / range

a] Why are you no longer stocking Darrell Lee Licorice. It is Australian and the best . You have replaced it with a cheap inferior product .
B] Your home brand Cheddar cheese is the closest thing to a bar of sunlight soap.soap. Aldi home brand is far superior in fact the taste is as good as any product you sell .May be your staff should try it some time.

But the main complaint I have is with this store . It is getting that way that at Toowong when you purchase a product on special you have to take a photo to prove it . This is the only store that I have to check every item off the docket when unpacking as so often it is wrong.
Today 10, 30 am I purchased a 200 g Moccona coffee . I usually purchase the larger size, but as this was on special I took it . There must have been 6 special price signs on the 2 shelves . I read the sign and picked the one from the range of 3 different labels . I think the price was around $9.00. Surprise Surprise I have been charged $19.49. Again I have to ring, it is price checked and I am told sorry all the other flavours are on special """BUT NOT THAT ONE """
But if I come back to the shop they will ""look after me "".
Now I know why no one shops there, Never again sorry I will shop at Coles across the road like everybody else in Toowong

Woolworths racist staff

We usually going to Woolworths taigum shopping centre to buy groceries.But last week on 14/09/15 woman on the counter her name Martha store 2657 pos 007 trans 6486 all her detail.before us she was taking care of a white lady.so we waited.we stated that this woman was really friendly to that lady, talking and smiling and laughing with her almost like she knew her.but when that lady left we stepped up to make payment. The woman mood immediately changed. Because our skin is black.the woman took the payment and stub and check from my husband processed without smiling. She did not say anything then my husband said you didn't say hello or hey then she said I said hello to you.she did this thing two time with us last to last week on 05/09/15 store 2657 pos 009 trans 1783 she did same thing with us that is why we went to same counter to check is that misunderstanding or she exactly doing racist behavior with black people. Of course we have know written the obligatory complaint. And we really want Woolworths company take action on that lady.

Woolworths new changes to the store

I am a disabled person whom already has enough trouble doing grocery shopping. Now with the new renovations at woolworths orana mall Dubbo, I'm struggling even more with the turn style type bag system at the checkout. The cashier can only fill four bags at a lime and stands there waiting for me to empty my trolley so I can go to the turn style and take the bags of to put back into the trolley. This is a nusence . The cashiers are just standing there doing nothing while I u pack the trolley, with nasty pulled faces .. I'm so not impressed with the new design of the store.

Woolworths woolworths select fresh egg pasta lasagne sheets

Purchased a pkt of this product on Thursday (10/9), use by date of 20/10/15. Used them Sunday 13/9 and it was a disaster. The sheets themselves are covered in some kind of crumb that goes everywhere but, even worse, when layering them the edges of all sheets and even the cut sections curl seriously upwards so it's impossible to get full coverage before adding the next layer. It was so bad that I had to cover the whole lot in foil and sit another oven dish on top to try to flatten out the layers. Because of the curling, it was impossible to keep the layers separate and they ended up mixed together. This product is rubbish and I'd never buy it again.

I'll now think twice before trying another Woolworths Select product.

Woolworths being unfair to all customers

Dear Sir/Madam

On Friday 11 September 2015 I visited one of your store in Fairfield, Neeta City, and was very disappointed.

The store took out 100s of men's clothing items on sale for 2 dollars each. When I tried to buy a few items I was told by the staff that all items for 2 dollars are sold to just one person.
Normally on a CLEARANCE SALE all customer should be  given a chance to buy, not just one person buying the entire stock of clearance sale. I feel this is totally unfair. I am very upset with your stores service. You should have a limit per customer when selling clearance stock.

Woolworths store manager

I was shopping at Woolworths Dianella store WA and found the store manager to be very rude to staff and extremely unfriendly towards customers. This was a very unpleasant visit and has been reoccurring and I will not be returning. Staff were great however for a store manager I expect more from him.

Woolworths freshly cooked chicken - worst

Yesterday at 10am (8th September) I bought a "freshly cooked" chicken from the Top Ryde Woolworths store. Today at lunch we ate the chicken and it is the worst we have ever had. Not only was it half the size, it was dry. We buy the chickens regularly. This was $10. When I just looked at the package, it was cooked at 7.50 the night before ie 7th September. I think this is totally unfair as it is now two days old. I know I should have looked at when it was cooked but never have before. If this had been discounted, I would not be complaining. I shall certainly be finding somewhere else to buy my chickens in future.

Woolworths rude staff members

Dear Woolworths,

We shop often to Woolworths Roma Qld and noticed that the management staff as well as some of the supervision staff have now customer service experience. One of the lady that looks like a leading hand was stopping people coming in Woolworths advising it is closing time. My partner advised her that Woolworths in the past announce via intercome half an hour earlier prior to closing and few minutes prior. The staff member roughly advised my partner that they never have done it and it is been for a while, my partner who lives in Roma for the past 40 years advised this is incorrect and that it was announced over the intercome customer regarding closure time. What is was amzing is that she was standing there arguing with my partner instead of discussing. I called the supervisor/manager who was in charge and he instead of giving his post standing on the self serve register to look after he indicated for me to come over in which I have and advised that he needs to control his staff member attitude and teach them to be more customer service friendly instead of arguing with the customer. This is all comes down to management of the store and they attitude. I have enquired with a lot of ex-staff members why they have so many staff turn over and they have advised is because of the supervisor's and management attitude towards their staff members. This is a serious issue that needs to be looked into and Woolworths staff bully others. Shame on Woolworths for international retailer to allow this to continue within their chain.

Woolworths about $10 off

Yesterday night 3 sep. around 10:00pm, I went to a Woolworths in Chirnside park shopping center Victoria 3116, I filled a trolley of lolly and chips, no liquor, no cigarette, no gift cards, , around $300 to $500 stuff. I wanted to separate the transactions for saving some money . When it come to $100, I asked the cashier to finish a transaction, present a $10 off coupon, the casher only did one transaction .I asked the casher to continue to do next transaction, she refused and called the duty manager Troy who told me, I am not allowed to separate my transactions, one customer only can use this coupon one time a day, meanwhile I am not allowed to do next transaction by myself at the self-check out.Actually the coupon doesn't say what the manager said .I think Woolworth is cheating customer .Compare with the Coles in Chirnside park, I am allowed to separate my transactions for $5 off, spending $100 get $5 off with a coupon . It's the worst shopping experience, just because I claimed $10 off, they are not happy, the manager and another staff said it's illegal for me shopping in the Woolworth in future . Finally they refunded me, and menaced me not come here again .

I hope it's a ridiculous news .

Woolworths frozen fruit

Hi Woolworths,
We have been buying your home brand frozen fruit for many years now very regularly, about 6 packets a week!
However, we have been finding some faults in your delicious product lately:

Firstly, we found not one but THREE pips in your "unpitted frozen cherries" packet, one on which our grandmother nearly choked on. This not only is false advertising, but could have easily resulted in an extremely serious tragedy if a baby or toddler had choked on it.

Secondly, we found a piece of string attached to one of the raspberries in your "frozen raspberries" packet... really not sure where that would have come from but we were quite disgusted. This shows a lack of hygiene and could harm a person's health if swallowed! We had to throw the rest of the packet away as we were concerned with where those berries have been...

We would love to keep buying your product but unfortunately twice is too many times to be disappointed, so we will be moving to a different brand. Please work on your product and ensure that the contents match what is said on the packet, is safe for consumption and doesn't have bits of peoples clothes tangled in it!
We are really disappointed, this doesn't live up to your reputation of "the fresh food people" at all.
We advise that you take the matter seriously and go to appropriate measures to do something about the issue. Can't say that we will keep being such frequent buyers at Woolworths.

Woolworths shortage of rewards stickers (earn and learn)

After grocery shopping at Woolworths in Stockland -Nth Rockhampton, I learnt that they had run out of the " earn and learn " reward stickers. The promotion has not ended and I believe they should have ample stocks of these stickers for the duration of the promotion. The assistant was not even apologetic - " just we have run out of stickers." This is just NOT GOOD ENOUGH ! I mentioned it in our lunchroom and was surprised to hear how many other WOOLWORTHS customers had also missed out.

Woolworths found plastic piece in the bread slice

Dear Woolies,

I always buy my bread n milk from your Westfield, Parramatta shop. On 24th AUG I brought Bread and on 27th AUG morning when I was having it found a plastic piece inside one of the bread slice. Thankgod i noticed it in time. This is very disturbing &shocking. Its very unfortunate. I demand Explanation.

Woolworths selling mouldy canned goods

I have been shopping with woolworths for many years now, but will admit that I am quite dissapointed at the moment. I recently brought cans of the Heinz Spaghetti and meatballs ( still well in date) went to open it this afteroon to find the top of the tin covered in mould chunks, yes chunks. Mould also around the rim of the can and throughout the whole can. To the point where the spaghetti sauce wasnt its normal colour.. It was dark green. Safe to say it turned me off having anything to eat after this, more upset at the fact that yous are charging more then $2 PER can, which might not seem alot to some, but when you only have one income and a budget to buy your fortnightly groceries on, to find your meals are mouldy. Quite turned off at the moment.

Woolworths meat

i have shopped with your store since you opened I have been a happy shopper until now. Since you have change the meat department the meat has been terrible, I got some mince meat it was so fatty and had a lot of gristle in it it was so disgusting to eat, the steak was so tough. The range of meat has fallen, I will not buy my meat from Woolworths again very so disappointed. The meat looks awful too, it's sad that the have stoop to this level not just in the quality of the meat but to put so many people off. I feel so sorry for the ones that have a mortgage or have a family, it's know wounded people commit suicide. As the saying goes the richer get richer and the poorer gets poorer its a very sad world we live in. Won't be buying my meat from your store again. Debbie
