Yesterday my friend purchased two cartoons of jps blue which she does every fortnight unfortunately she sat outside and had a heart attack where she was taken to doctors and will undergo surgery today on doctors advice she is no longer allowed to smoke being a pensioner and not being able to exchange or take back these is a disgrace being a small town and everyone knows you at the store seems a very strange policy im hoping on this occasion that sanity does prevail and we are able to get a refund hoping for a satisfactory reply .

I think that this should have been taken on its merit this does not happen all the time so I believe they should refund my friends money for cigerettes

This is the 2nd time I have asked for horizon blue cigarettes and they have given me menthol without me actually seeing the brand as they just throw them in the shopping bag. It's 11.50pm and when I opened them they were white. Menthol. I had a cigarette as I have none and now I won't get a replacement as I opened them. This isn't good enough. I didn't even get the opportunity to see if it was the correct packet as they just scan and throw in bag. What do I do now?

Now I'm going to 7/11 to buy another packet of cigarettes and this isn't fair as I didn't even get to see the cigarettes they threw in the shopping bag. This is the 2nd time this has happened at the south Preston store! Not happy at all!

I explained I wanted a packet of horizon blue 30's and they give me menthol. This is the 2nd time it's happened and it's now midnight and I opened the pack and saw they were white cigarettes. I wanted to have a cigarette as I got stressed as my brother got shot at so I tried a cigarette and it was really bad.

Thou if her heart attack happened directly in front of the store and there store cameras caught it on tape
Then surely u would be able to take it higher, like the store manager. If that does not work then some1 higher than that like the regional manager etc. human resource should b able to help u and guide u the right way

Policy on cigarette on any big or small chain stores is that once they have been purchased and handed to the customer they can not take it back. There was one instance thou I did purchase it and They had given me the wrong kind so I needed to exchange the cigarettes. I took it off the counter turned around and was about to open them wen luckily I looked at the grossed out pic and realised they have given me the wrong smokes. So I turned back around to tell them and it was like a big investigation started to happen. They checked it for any tampering, checked the cameras to see if I had not swapped it for another packet, checked my licence for ID. I swear they made me feel like I stole the ciggerettes instead off making me feel like it was not my fault and it was the employees fault. That's y now I check it b4 I buy from them. Anyway ur friend would have saved a lot more if she went to a small chain smoke store. The difference is shocking. And at least if ur a regular at those small stores the sometimes bend the rules for u. My suggestion is to sell the to a friend of a friend or something. Cos if woollies can make me feel as if I was a thief when I had purchased the packet...they probably make it out as if ur friend came out of jail and is holding the store up with a ak47 for two cartons
