Whirlpool refrigerator model wrf560smb04, serial no vs44852676

I bought my refrigerator in January 2015 from Lowes. I bought an extended warranty. It started to make sounds in July 2015 and then died on 7/11/15. I called Lowes and got a repairman assigned to come out. He ordered a part and it was supposedly fixed within 2 weeks and 2 days missed from work. Then it started to make sounds again. On August 5, 2015 The part wasn't working. So they needed the same part again. The repair service couldn't get the part so I was forced to order my own parts for replacement through Whirlpool. Again I've missed multiple days from work but in August it was supposedly fixed again. It died on 9/11/16. I again called and was sent out a technician to fix it again with another part which took a couple more weeks and more missed time from work. On 3/1/16, I was hearing noises again so I called Whirlpool warranty and was told that I was still under my manufacturing warranty. The Lowes representative told me that Whirlpool refused to replace the refrigerator and that I was stuck with it. The repairman came out, ordered another part, and then came out to fix it a few days ago. I've now received a call that Whirlpool is refusing to cover the part and that I have to call and deal with Whirlpool about it. I can't believe the poor treatment I have received from Whirlpool.

Whirlpool I think that swim spa was defective; therefore I had too many problems

My family bought swim spa from Vortex Whirlpool Systems. The rep basically persuaded me to purchase exactly this system and told that it would be perfect. However, after couple of months all problems began. There were problems with hot tube and I wasted couple of hundreds for the repair. After these hot tubes, new problems appeared and there was no end of this stupid situation. The company’s owner refused to give any support or compensation. It was obvious that this system was defective.

Whirlpool refrigerator ksrj25fxms

Today I spent 2 hours on the telephone with your Kitchenaid customer care department attempting to purchase a replacement part for a refrigerator I purchased in June 2011. My call was to ascertain if the part was covered under warranty since the appliance is fairly new- was informed no warranty applied since the part was considered cosmetic; however was asked if I wanted to purchase replacement to which I replied ‘yes’. Below is my timeline of events with your customer care dept.:
- Care department placed the order and charged my credit card.

-After reviewing the order noticed the care rep purchased wrong item.

-Re-called customer care and was told the first representative should not have taken the order and was placed on hold to cancel the order and initiate credit. Rep then stated the part had already been shipped (only after 30 min from initial order) & I would need to return the item once received, and would be refunded by debit card because your care dept. cannot credit my visa. The rep then transferred me to parts dept. to place new order.

-Parts then searched the part# and said it was not available. I informed him that customer care said it was to which he replied: “I work in Kitchenaid’s 3rd party parts dept. and they show part unavailable” so he reconnected me to customer care to order (part# W10286918).

-Was once again transferred back to customer care. Another 45 minute hold and was asked if I wanted to purchase my needed part. I replied yes. The customer care rep took all my info and was ready to place order (put me on hold) and then returned informing me the part is no longer available.
You can see the customer service nightmare I was put through, and in the end- find out the part for my 4 ½ year old refrigerator is unavailable – it cannot be found anywhere at KitchenAid-Whirlpool- or online. The piece is the ice/water display fascia plate which is peeling & curling at its base; how can a large appliance that is so new not have the part available from you the manufacturer? Is it your policy to produce items that become obsolete within just a few years? Well I can tell you if I would have known that KitchenAid discontinues parts for their fairly new large appliances I would have never considered your company as a choice for our remodel. I purchased $8, 000 in KitchenAid appliances and now have a defective fascia plate to look at which will only get worse over time. Your KitchenAid slogan states: KitchenAid. For the way it’s made. How can you honestly make that statement? My appliance is not a dinosaur; I have attached a picture of the fascia plate as well as the refrigerator so you can see for yourself. I will never purchase another KitchenAid product again since you discontinue parts mfg so readily –I truly believe large appliances will serve families well if cared for – & maintained properly; appliances are not something to be discarded because a small part breaks. I don’t have the option of purchasing a replacement part because KitchenAid electively discontinues the manufacture of parts. Shameful –Your products will not be recommended to my family or friends ever because they are obviously not built to last.

I have the same problem with a Fridge purchased in 2010. It's a problem when the panel is coming apart, but unacceptable when you cannot purchase a replacement for something less than 10 years old.

Whirlpool brand new stove

Oct bought the new built-in stove, installed beginning of Dec. as
house is new. Used 3 times and the ignitor part stopped working.
Then I would come down the stairs in the morning and a clicking
sound could be heard-very dangerous the electrician said.
Worked for a few days, stopped again. Repairman who finally
came out said have stove uninstalled, I hired men to take it out.
Whirlpool repair men came out again and said "we see stove is
out but don't have the parts". What? "Won't have parts for 21 days"
TWO PROBLEMS= the black metal piece that goes over the middle
burners was warped from day one, ignitor defective & dangerous.
Stove sitting in my livingroom as I have a galley kitchen. ARE YOU
KIDDING, 21 DAYS TO GET ONE PART FOR A BRAND NEW STOVE?
I WANT A NEW STOVE IMMEDIATELY AS SUCH POOR SERVICE.
AM IN MEXICO AND IS WHIRLPOOL SENDING DOWN THEIR SECONDS
TO TIO SAMS? WHY?

Whirlpool refrigerator

I bought a whirlpool refrigerator in 2009. I called within a year with my extended warranty. I was told it didn't cover the shelves. How are you suppose to use it without the shelves? I tried calling again and they would drop my call. I am deeply disappointed in this refrigerator and I can't afford to buy another one. The model number is ED2GVEXVD01 Serial number HRY2647657. Whirlpool cabrio washing machine

model: CABRIO Washer WTW6200VW0 We purchased the washer in January 2010 for $646. In July 2012 we had to replace the basket bearing and hub for a cost of $279. The bearing now needs replaced again, meaning that I will spent almost the equivalent of the purchase price in repairs in a 6 year period. I am tempted to just throw this washer out, and rest assured, I would not buy nor recommend a Whirlpool again.

Whirlpool freezer

I called the 800 number explaining my problem and was given a reference number. I was told a person in my area would call the next day. I haven't received that call. My complaint was I had food that thawed out and spoiled. I had call the store and had gone in the store with the problem. The freezer were constantly freezing and you couldn't open the door. When you got the door open it wouldn't close completely. The men finally came to get it they saw the problem. Meanwhile, I had thrown away food because it had completely thaw out. I am seeking a solution for the food I lost. My reference number was 372284 and David the district manger was to call.

Whirlpool use of blue led display light

Whirlpool and other manufacturers have chosen to switch from cool green to intense blue LED lights for display on ovens. The blue LED light is blinding. When contacting Whirlpool directly, their response is that the bulb is part of the control panel and is not subject to change. Nor can the intensity be controlled manually by the user. Documented research proves that the retina of the human eye does not handle blue light well, and in fact can cause severe headaches, nausea and in rare causes permanent damage to the eye. In homes with open floor plans, and custom homes where sleep and living spaces are combined the overbearing intensity of the blue LED is impossible to escape. Please, please please stop the trend to use blue LED, and provide a workable interim solution for those of us who have spent hundreds of dollars on your products and want to continue using them in the future.

Whirlpool refrigerator - will not honor warranty

My wife and I recently purchased a home in June 2015. The home came with brand new appliances that were purchased in December 2014. On 10/7/15 our refrigerator and freezer began to emit a terrible odor that took over the food in the fridge and freezer. The odor was so bad that it made the food inedible. We had to throw all of it away. We contacted Whirlpool to get someone out to fix it. A repair man came out and stated that it was our defroster that had fried and that was the smell. He said that he would replace the part but the smell was so overwhelming that he didn't think we would be able to get it out. Once the part was replaced Whirlpool walked us through several options to get rid of the smell (lemons, charcoal, baking soda etc.) We did all of these nothing worked. I have now called 4 different times and Whirlpool refuses to replace the fridge. It has been 4 weeks and I have no fridge! They do not stand behind their warranties or the quality of their product. My fridge is not even a year old and is unusable. I will never purchase another Whirlpool product and am advising others to stay away.

Whirlpool wall oven

My wife and I remodeled our kitchen a year ago (Nov., 2014) and recently we used the self-clean feature the oven came with (Oct., 2015). That apparently fried the electronics. No big deal, right. Oven breaks due to no fault of the customer. Whirlpool will replace it, right? Nope. Whirlpool customer service says sometime in the next month a guy will come by to pick up the broken piece of s*** and will give us a check for the purchase price. We're on our own to replace it and pay for installation. Since they don't make the model we bought an longer, a replacement similar to what we had is now double the price! So, we had a perfectly good oven until two weeks ago and now we have to spend $700 to replace it. Needless to say it isn't being replaced with a Whirlpool. We'll never buy another Whirlpool again and we're telling everyone we know our story. Whirlpool is horrible!

Whirlpool maytag bravo xl

I have had this washing machine less than two years and in the first 2-3 months I had to have the tub replaced, this was under warranty. The machine worked for around a year or so with no problems. In September the machine started making noise and it was no longer under warranty, even though it is less than two years old. We called the repair company that did the repair work mentioned above, Advanced in Charlotte, NC. They diagnosed the problem as worn out bearings on 9/28. Advanced said this was a common problem and Whirlpool would cover the parts so I would only be out the labor. The part was sent to Advanced three separate times and each time it was manufactured incorrectly. Today is 10/20 and I still don't have a washing machine and I was told that they may have the part next week, for a forth try. I called Whirlpool and they were no help. I would gladly return this machine is anyone would take it.

Whirlpool Maytag bravos xl* top-loading high efficiency low-water washer

I own a maytag bravos xl* top-loading high efficiency low-water washer. on 9/1/15, after reporting a problem, a "service" person arrived to assess the problem. his diagnosis led to a second visit on 9/8. on the second visit he replaced multiple parts, assuring us that the problem was fixed. when this proved to be false, we called for a third visit, this time a different person arrived. after disassembling the washer he found a large hole and another cracked area in the inner plastic portion of the tub. we made a fourth appointment for repairs, receiving assurances that it would be repaired at that time. I received an e-mail today (9/16/15) informing me that an additional 7 days would be required to arrange for delivery the required part.in the interim, my wife and I are forced to use a local coin operated laundry about every three days, totaling 7 visits at approximately $25 and 3 hours per visit before the next scheduled appointment. the compensation offered, 9 months extension of the existing warranty is woefully inadequate. I want the appliance replaced, as history has taught me that you are obviously unwilling or incapable of repairing it correctly in a timely manner. additionally, I want the initial warranty that accompanies a new product extended to a full 3 years. we have paid out over $150 and wasted 18 to 21 hours of our time unnecessarily. I expect compensation for the funds spent as a direct result of the bungling, incompetence of your "service" staffmy questions are these: 1. was the part defective prior to installation? 2. if so, why did the representative not notice it and refrain from installing a broken part? 3. why was there no mention of the damage on the first visit? 4. if not, how did the damage occur? did the service man damage it and fail to report it? 5. what caused the delay in obtaining the part? I have other questions, but will no longer spend any more time on this debacle. I cannot honestly say which is worse their quality or their pathetic version of customer service.

Whirlpool oven awaiting repair since april 2015

In early 2015 (Feb/March), when the timer on my Whirlpool failed, I tried to turn on the main oven and found that it was not functioning. I contacted Whirlpool and the ridiculous system that is the Domestic & General payment plan was explained to me. I was reluctant to enter into such a plan BEFORE having had the oven repaired - however I was told that I needed to take out the plan in order that an engineer might visit. After some thought, I rang back and agreed to do so. By now it was April.
An engineer duly came, and told me he would order the part/s. He then rang me afterwards to inform me that the part was out of stock. So I waited...and waited...and waited. I am still waiting. Note the date!

I had another local oven repair man come to look at the oven, and he has told me that he has another customer waiting for the same part. He could do nothing more to help.
I then rang Domestic & General, where the customer advisor was appalled at the treatment I am experiencing from Whirlpool - and she has even had the decency to ring me back since to enquire about progress!
I rang the local company who had sent the engineer on behalf of Whirlpool, and they apologised, but said one of the two parts required was still out of stock. The customer advisor promised to keep me updated, and she has done. A couple of months ago, she rang to say that Whirlpool had told her the part was now in stock and would arrive within the next couple of weeks...then it was the next week...then it was the next week...and then she stopped ringing. Even she has given up, probably through embarrassment.

So I am still waiting...and paying £14.99 per month for the pleasure!
May I politely enquire if this is what Whirlpool considers to be customer service?

I no longer want the repair. I want an apology. I want compensation in addition to the return of the payments I have made to Domestic & General since April. I understand there will be no problem having these returned, but I have lost the 3% interest I would have earned on this money from my bank account, AND I will now have to purchase a new oven.

Whirlpool - you are a disgraceful company, and I'm sure everyone on our community facebook page here would agree. Many of us are havng similar issues with your ovens in our Persimmon townhouses.

Shame on you! I hope to hear from you very, very soon with your offer.

Thank you for reading this.

Whirlpool washer stopped working

I never seen such bad service before. My washer has broken down various times. Anything from the belt broken to chip broken.
Now the brick has been really good to me, but transglobal has not.
It been over a month with no technician available, and the washer is filled with water.I can't even open it to remove the water.
Furthermore they are only given me 400 for my washer which the washer has been giving me problems since the get go.
They were absolutely not willing to work with me at all. I even told them I would call a service technician and they should have to pay half for it . The guy says it would be based on approval, and I said why . OK think that's more than fair.
Don't buy the extended warranty with these guys they are nothing but problems. They also won't return your calls either and you'll be doing several trips to the brick. Also the time on the phone.

Whirlpool poor product and customer service

A Maytag fridge was purchased July 19 at Bad Boy Barrie, delivered July 21 and leaked when plugged in. Whirlpool contacted and technician arrived 7 days later. Maytag fridge was overfilled with refrigerant after factory.

Contacted Whirlpool again and on hold for over 30 minutes to speak with an agent. Upon reaching an agent was advised at that time the this fridge did not meet code when tested at manufacturer, and had been originally sent back. At this time I was approved for an exchange as per my request. Advised an exchange team member will be contacting me shortly. Nine days later I received an call and told to find a model I wished to exchange for. A direct line was provide to me. Upon called with a model number and was unable to complete my call. Had to call customer service and on hold for 45 minutes. Told I could not be transferred to Exchange Team and advised someone would call in next 48 hours. It has been over a month since the initial complaint and I still do not have any resolve to this defective fridge.

Whirlpool warranty service

I bought extended service plan from KitchenAid for my refrigerator. I got whirlpool service for my ice dispenser.. Technician replaced malfunction parts but did not test the unit then reported completion to service plan. I tested this morning after ice is fill in the box, nothing came out from the dispenser. I called the whirlpool . It was my most horrible experience about their service representative name Kalyan.. Mean and rude gril. Refuse to arrange the repair for their incomplete work and refuse let me talk to her supervisor. I have to go through my extended service plan again and wait for another week for my deserve and paid services. Whirlpool shall be more sensitive about their name and provide good service training. People is going to switch to LG or Samsung if American company don't watch their quality and service.
