Western Dental, gave me a full mouth of xrays, and a treatment plan. I paid the $490.00 to begin, on my first appointment I was to have a deep cleaning, they finished one half of my mouth, and sent me home. I suffered tremendous pain that day and for two weeks after, I had to go to the emergency room for help. I never went back, I decided the $490.00 was it, and they would never see me again. Now they are trying to chanrge me $1160.00 for 1/2 mouth of deep cleaning and xrays. stating that I have to fulfil my contract. This is crazy and unjust. Western Dental is a joke, I guess I should go back and let them kill me off, because I almost died from 1/2 mouth cleaning and now they continue to call everyday including EASTER SUNDAY constantly telling me to pay up or they will take legal actions. I am warning everyone STAY AWAY from the credit dentist, you go to WD and you could die from their treatment or be harrassed to death for their plan payment if you don't finish letting them kill you.

Omg! After three hours I am still waiting for them to c my child! Not only did they mess up his ins information and chart information they made him an app for something else. I'm back in the waiting room and staff are getting mad at each other, rolling their eyes, and complain about how ridiculous their work place is! Then u have staff arguing with each other in front of patients! This place is unorganized and ghetto to the fullest! No one knows what their doing! My poor child needs work done so O hope at least the specialists knows what she's doing! After today I am looking for another dentist!

About 5 years ago I had to go to Western Dental for a cleaning and fillings. They used a metal dremmel tool to clean my teeth, then told me I needed 12 Fillings and a root canal. They did some of the fillings that day. I could not eat for 2 weeks! I never went back for the rest of the work. A year ago one of the fillings fell out leaving me with a severely infected tooth that had to be pulled. Now another filling fell out last week! Using a dremmel tool on my teeth ground off all the enamel leaving me with life long dental problems.

After 2 months of harassing phone calls from Western Dental debt collection, filing complaints with FTC, BBB, Do Not Call and Cal Att Gen office I am beyond frustrated with these idiots! So someone used my phone number as an emergency contact when they went to WDS and of course WDS began calling me when they could not reach that person. I told WDS that they had reached a message number and asked them to remove my phone number from their auto-dialer. The third call I finally said I was filing complaints with the state and federal agencies, I sent emails to the corp office with copies of the complaints. You would think this would solve the problem, but not at all. They called, sent emails and a letter telling me that I needed to verify appointment history, place of appointment and sign a patient release form. I sent an email saying that I was not and had never been a patient, that I was not going to contact the person they were trying to reach and ask them about their medical history. So they answered my complaints by saying that they could not resolve the complaints until I signed a patient release. If I were a suspicious sort (which I am) I would think that this is their latest scam to avoid penalties from complaints.

Because i didnt have dental insurance and I am on social security, I had to find a company that would allow payments i was told it was 15 percent down and monthly payments with no interest. The bill totaled about $3500 and I was required to pay $1250 ( which was more than 15%, They came in with paper work after I was already under treatment and was told to sign these forms...which I could read and wasnt given a chance to get my glasses...so regretfully I signed. I had 7 extractions and a full set of dentures. The dentures fit crooked...the lower are very loose (even after a so called re alignment.) Please if anyone is considering a dentist do not go to western dental. They overcharge and the workmanship is shoddy.

I made my payment on 3/29/11, Western dental is chasing me to make the payment again and I already spoke to lots of people I went to the office with my bank statements, I spoke to Carlos Robles * manager * he supposed to call me back since 9/15 and I been calling him. He never reply or answers my phone calls. NO ONE IS HELPING ME TO resolve this matter... so Upsetting .. this is unacceptable.

A couple of weeks ago I took my 4 yr old son to Western Dental. They were so rude! When he was getting the xrays done the girl was getting upset @ him & raising her voice to him. He started crying. She says why are you crying? There is nothing to cry about. He says you are choking me (gagging him) she is clearly upset after 5 min. of him trying to be brave & not gag I ask her to pls be calm he has bad refluxes be understanding. She finally gets the xrays and huffs. Afterwads he clings to me trying not to cry and says mommy I want you. Finally the dentist comes and says his xrays look good. I said oh good I was concerned about his front tooth he knocked it on a kids head while playing. She says oh it's dead he needs a root canal a porcelain veener that I will have to pay for out of pocket. He also has 2 cavities. At this point I am floored. I asked them how they do the root canal they say sedate him or put him in this blanket that holds him down. I start crying and say you look at him and see another kid. I look at him and see my baby. They make a appointment for today to do a root canal, filling and cleaning So We go in a kid is SCREAMING! I see them they are in the blanket and strapped down. The dentist makes eye contact with me and closes the door. My son is scared I am trying to hold it together. After a hour the same dr. comes out of the room tells me he is going to sedate my son. I tell him no you are not. He tells me if I don't we will strap him down. I tell him no. He gets upset with me repeating himself I tell him you are not touching my kid. I want to see his xrays. He repeats himself again of what he is going to do I tell him u r not touching my kid show me the xrays u never showed them to me. It goes back and forth finally I tell him my son is going to get a cleaning show me the xrays he huffs walks away and goes on his blackberry. My son gets his teeth cleaned I leave. Went to another dentist today told them our situation they took xrays looked at his teeth. and GUESS WHAT? His tooth is healthy and fine. He has no cavitites everything was perfect with his teeth, and they showed me his Xrays! I am relieved and Pissed Off!

double billed $671.00, day 8 still waiting for the money to be returned to my bank account, 3 teeth bridge became 7 teeth bridge destroying 2 teeth, temporary crown forgotten, bridge promissed me in two weeks is now 4 or more weeks may be, billed $11, 300.00 $ 2001.00 has been taken from my bank account between 6/17/11 & 6/29/11 My bank account, my mouth/smile/ability to chew taken by Western Dental AGAIN!

It does not amaze me what I've read here so far, what truly amazes me is to see that a company like this can still be in business, I've worked at this company for a short period of time and can't imagine seeing myself being a part of such a ripoff 'corporation' their practices, morale and everything else leave a lot to be desired, no ethics, no order, billing and collections is a huge mess in that office, nobody knows what they are doing, don't know how to read accounts, supervisors never take care of problems, it is all a huge scam and the typical politics and clicks, filled with uneducated ex gang members, etc., I'm sure that just about 90% of their so called 'employees' never stepped into a college campus, nor graduated even from high school, it's amazingly toxic and negative being in this nasty environment. I feel for the people who are victims of this ring of idiots and really crooks, as all they do is bill them for something they've already paid for and I still haven't mentioned the huge mess of all the offices, missapplying payments, it happens all day, they apply the wrong payment to another account and so on and so forth, not to mention a so called assistant supervisor told the people on the floor that if the patient has a refund not to let them know and never to discuss any information about their insurance share and what they've paid, I couldn't believe my ears when I heard that, I am desperately looking for another job, with the economy it's the toughest right now, but if you have any questions you can go head and write me, or ask me.

I have gone to Midwestern for a couple of years now. They would not do any work in my mouth till I got this deep root and acaling done. After they did that they put together a plan of action. It takes so long to get in for an appt. that it was time for my next cleaning before they finished the work needed done in my mouth. The last and FINAL visit to the Famington Hills office the director look at a back to without even touching it with any equipment and said I neede a root canal. Mind you this was just before the hloidays in 2010. So he sent me to a specialist. Come to find out my back tooth had cracked it cost me $200.00 to see the specialist. Upon a prior visit I told the dentist I see a cavity on my front tooth. His reply was "It's not in the treatment plan. On your next cleaning they will see it." I said you are working in that area. He didn't care. If you don't mind your mouth falling apart waiting for an appt. then this is the place for you. I have never felt like a so unimportant and just a number as I have with this company. I would NEVER recommend it ESPECIALLY if you have Golden Dental for your coverage.

I was am employee at Western Dental in Tracy, Ca. I was hired on Jun 1 2011 and was offered 11.00 per hour. I then resigned my position on Jun 10 2011 due to lack of respect towards employees in the office and proper training for the job I was to perform. Nancy(regional manager) originaly offered me $9.00 an hour for the position, I accepted and then my current employer counte offered them. When I called Jennifer Vermillion on 5-27-11 to deny the offer of $9.00hour, she then called me back after speaking to Nancy and then offered me 11.00 per hour to accept th job offer by Western Dental. I accepted the offer and started on Jun 1 2011. They failed to send me any paperwork reguarding the offer at a higher pay rate, and told me that it was taken care of. On June 15 2011, I showed up to sign for my last check and noticed it was short 0.75 hours of regular pay and that the pay rate was incorrect showin $9.00 per hour. I then brought it to Desirea Martin and she immediatley contacted corporate Payroll, who connected her with HR Dept. She explained the pay ate issue to Jose and he explained he dint receive the paperwork and it was not processed correctly. She told him it ws to be approved and he said it would have to go through the "comp" committee and be approved. I then called Desirea around 4:30pm that same day and she informed me that because her o Nancy didnt file the paperwork correcty that it was denied and I would not receive any pay.
