Wendy’s where's the beef? want some fries with that?

I have been enjoying Wendy's for most of my 37 years of life. Unfortunately, my family of six and I will no longer be enjoying my favorite fast food. I realize that the laws of economics require companies to make adjustments in order to maintain profitability. “Where’s the beef?” That is the question we should be asking you. You have increased the price of your main menu and practically removed any trace of beef from your $0.99 menu. Then, to add insult to injury, you have gotten rid of your fries and replaced them with those fresh cut monstrosities. I have swallowed the injuries of increased prices, shrinking containers and disappearing beef because I loved the product. Now you insult me by changing one of my favorite products in your line up. I implore you honor the memory of Dave and go back to what made Wendy’s great. Bring back the days of FAIR PRICES, PROPER PACKAGING, GREAT FRIES, and BEEF. In essence bring back the spirit of DAVE!

Wendy’s raw spicy chicken sandwich

On Jan.7, 2011, a friend and myself went to Wendy's after we left Wal=Mart since it was so close by. I order a spicy chicken sandwich combo with a sprite and my friend ordered a ten piece chicken nugget meal with a coke. I request for my spicy chicken sandwich to be cooked fresh. After receiving both our meals we left and were on our way back home. Since there wasn't alot of gas station between our destination and Greenville we stop, got gas and that when i realize i had ate half of a raw sandwich. I tried to throw it up and I immediate we back to Wendy's told the lady who had served me and showed her the sandwich. She left the window to see what happen and then stated that The cooked had over load the fryer. The manager was told and they did offer me another sandwich, but I was sick to my stomach by then.. I keep the sandwich and left. That night i wasn't as sick, but the next evening I start have cramping pain in my abdominal, upset stomach diarrhea, vomiting, I even had chills, my head was very bad, when I would move it would hurt...just awful. I am glad I keep that chicken sandwich. Even though I am not wanting to sue..I do think I should be compensated. I reported it to the the Wendy's district manager and he forward the information the the insurance company. He got so information for me, such as Name, address, birthday and said I should be hearing from an adjuster. I never heard from the adjuster and when i call today to check on it, I was told that the case was close...I was shock to hear that it was close and I never discuss the matter with anyone other that the district manager. Just goes to show you how unfair people are...If anyone else had or has a similar report please email me at [protected]@gmail.com

Wendy’s food & beverage

Today is Wednesday, January 19, 2011. At around 1500, my girlfriend of almost 3 years was on her way to my house after school. She decided to stop by Wendy's and get some food for me since she had already eaten. Orders a "Baconator" with large fries and large drink. When she gets to my house, since I've never personally experienced anything wrong with Wendy's food, I devour the food and gulp down some of the soda she got me. However, not being able to finish the large drink, I proceed to the kitchen sink to dump out the rest of it. I take the lid off, and pour out the drink. As I'm pouring it out, a receipt falls out that wasn't even mine. It was dated January 23, 2009. Now, what Wendy's is doing with an almost 2 year old cup, I don't know. Or why there was a 2 year old receipt in my drink. But shortly after I ate the food and consumed the drink, I suffered from vomiting and diarrhea. I plan on suing Wendy's for as much as I can. It's only been 2 hours since I consumed the food.

Yeah I thought about contacting the company so I could get like a year of free food but, that just makes me sound like a fat ###. And about keeping the vomit and feces... Although that would be hysterical, I think I'll keep that out so they don't try to make me out to be insane haha

Nah haha, I know paper won't give you food poisoning. But it's still disgusting. How would you, or anyone else for that matter, like 2 year old receipt in their drink? Not very pleasant lol

I didn't say the receipt itself made me sick. I said after I consumed the meal, I got sick. I'm still sick. And yeah, she might be trying to. I don't know what for though because I definitely don't have any money for her to get haha

Wendy’s disgusting drinks

I have lived in Dyersburg for five years and every time I have ever had Wendy's the drinks taste spoiled. It tastes like they haven't cleaned or changed the taps in years. It has a sour taste to it. I very very rarely eat there obviously, usually only if I am at work and one person is going out to pick up lunch and it happens to be Wendy's. I refuse to get drinks from there anymore but I know the problem is still going on because everyone complains. It has gotten so bad that our local Topix has threads about the drinks at Wendy's, not to mention the atrocious service. Everybody that works there has a terrible attitude and if you try to complain they make you feel threatened. The first (and only time) I ever intentionally went inside to eat a meal I mentioned the foul odor and tastes of the drinks to the manager and she said "THEY TASTE FINE TO ME." Someone is going to get sick. I, along with countless others, have complained to corporate several times and nothing has been done. They still have not changed the taps in FIVE YEARS or even apparently cleaned them. DO NOT EAT AT WENDY'S IN DYERSBURG, TENNESSEE UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET SICK. Wendy’s poor customer service by manager

went to the wendys in interlochen and was helped by a manager she was very rude and not helpfull one bit she was playing around in the back before helping anyone at the counter this wendys in interlochen should consider hiring new managers who actually know what they are doing and know customer service till then expect your service to get worse (more than it is now) i will not be eating at this location any time soon.

Wendy’s assault

Today's visit to Wendy's on University and Rouse Road resulted in an assault by the manager (Steve). I noticed a landscaper edging very close to the cars on University Ave. I went out to tell the landscaper to edge the lawn when there are no cars nearby when the Manager (Steve) aggressively advises that I should not park there. Steve insists on taking a picture of my car, so I take his picture. Steve reaches to grab my phone as the landscaper steps between us. Nine years of visiting this particular Wendy's have never resulted in an altercation until today.

First of all, suck it up. That wasn't an assault.

Second of all, don't tell the landscaper how to do his job. I'm quite certain that not hitting the parked cars is a very important consideration for him. If your car is so precious that even the slightest possibility of damage is too much for you to bear, park further away and walk. If that is the case though, how do you manage to leave your driveway without having a panic attack?

Wendy’s bad food and wrong orders!

I visit Wendy's alot. I get the same thing everytime I go. I normally have no problems, but recently the past few times i go the nuggets a get are hard and cold. they are impossible to bit and even if you do they taste gross! I normally get a bake potatoe with brocoli and cheese, the past few times they either forget the brocoli, i get the wrong potatoe. or there isnt enough stuff on it. When I go through the drive though i have to ask 3 or 4 times for my sweet and sour sauce, the girl at the window rolls her eyes. I ask if there is a fork in the bag, and she would do the same and say i dont know. Well gees dont you work here, arent you suppose to make sure that stuff is in the bag! and then even after asking for sweet and sour sauce, i still dont get it!

I work in fast food, and i understand you forget things somtimes, or your moving so fast you dont pay attention, but the rudeness just doesnt fly with me. Are they that rude to everybody that comes through the drive through? If you worked where i do, you wouldnt be working there very long.

Wendy’s not taking coupon

I was emailed from Wendy's a coupon to try the new breakfast item. Upon going to the restaurant. They first said the egg sandwitch was a lunch item. ?

Then they said they don't have the item - and they would not accept toe coupon anyways.

Wendy’s raw bacon

Ordered a Jr. Bacon cheese burger in drive through. Got home and the bacon was RAW, I mean cold pink not even cooked. Called the manager, she didn't care. I have lived in this town all my life, this Wendy's is consistently bad. Don't go there unless you like rude staff and undercooked food.

Wendy’s slow service and cold eating area

We go to wendy's quite often, but you had better take a coat it is freezing in the eating area. It also takes forever to get your food. They are so slow!
One lady complained on sunday night, and she was told, "the workers in the back, got hot, so we had to turn the ac to help cool off the back. The people in the lobby are the ones who pay their salaries, and they are cold!
Alot of our friends had also state that they go thru the drive-thru, so it won't take so long to get their food, then come in and eat! Please do something!

ah if its hot in the back they need the AC on no matter what because if they don't they'll sweat and overheat plus they work with grill, fryers, etc. Even though you the customer pay for our check. we the workers make your food. and if the food is too slow they means that the drive through is packed and has orders too fill.

Wendy’s get sick - you're screwed

Let me preface this by saying that Wendy's has been my favorite "fast food joint" for years. On July 19, 2010, my wife and two of our grandchildren were taking a vacation to our eldest daughters home in Florida. Enroute we stopped at a Wendy's in Manning SC for a quick bite. We went inside (I'm not a fan of drive thrus) and placed our order. I got a Baja Salad as I have been trying to eat a little healthier lately. By 5:00 P.M. I learned what "Montazuma's Revenge" is all about. We arrived at our daughters about 6:00 P.M. and after talking to my daughter and son-in-law for 20 minutes, I went upstairs and both ends went into full opertion. It was that way until my son-in-law got home from work on Tuesday the 20th about 6:00 P.M. when he took me to the ER - food poisoning. It seems that I had become so dehydrated that my kidneys ceased to function. I spent 4 days in the hospital and was released late Friday evening. We returned home the following Monday and after a days rest, I began to try to contact the Wendy's in Manning. They don't answer their phone so on August 6th, I sent an e-mail to Wendy's parent company. No response, so on August 12th I called. Yesterday, August 13th, I received a call from the district manager who said he was sorry I got sick but his employees eat the chili and no one else complained...in other words "too bad"...and that was the end of our phone conversation. Don't know whether I will pursue this through litigation or not but I can certainly say that I won't be ordering the Baja Salad at Wendy's again...probably won't be ordering anything at Wendy's again...

Wendy’s bug in cup

I drank a medium diet coke from Wendy's. When I was finished, I went to dump the ice and saw a dead bug on the inside of the cup. I am so grossed out. I drank the whole thing and probably a couple of bugs. First it was KFC with the roaches, and now it's Wendy's with the bugs. Their food is probably infested. I am sooooooooo done with fast food restaurants. Make sure to inspect your food and drink before consuming it. I know the FDA allows some insect parts in your food from processing but it is a minimal amount, not a whole insect.

I can see what's in my food at home. Diet soda does not have sugar. It has aspartame. Yes I know aspartame is a chemical and is bad for you, but I'd rather have zero calories than 300. I am aware that the FDA allows rodent hair, feces, bug parts and other substances in processed food but it is a minimal amount. I eat very healthy at home and work out so I have a cheat day once a month. Fast food is poor quality, processed junk but it's okay to have once in a while. This is a complaint board an that's my complaint.

Wendy’s baked potatoe

I used to get a baked potatoe years ago at Wendy's that looked appetizing and tasted good. I got a baked potatoe a couple of weeks ago after being in the hospital for surgery. The NEW Wendy's was on the way home. I took the potatoe out and it was so disgusting-looking and I took a little tiny bite, tasted like it was a week old. If I would have eaten it, I know I would have gotten sick. I complained on their website but got no response. Attached is a photo of the potatoe as I received it.

Wendy’s order inaccuracy and customer service

I had been a loyal long time customer of the wendy's close to where my mother lives until they began consistently giving me the wrong order or shorting me on sauces and dressings that come with my order. Then recently while at my mom's she asked if I would get her one of their new salads, so I did. I ordered inside the store and noted that the cashier/order taker, kept asking me "is that all" after every item I ordered. Now, when I was younger I worked fast food and back in the day we were told to wait until the customer was throuh giving their order and then ask "Will there be anything else?" I thought that Wendy's wanted to keep customers provide a good product and customer service...but, I guess I've been wrong. But, they did get my order right and my mom was delighted with her salad so, no complaints there. On my next visit to Wendy's I ordered a salad again through the drive through. Returned home with the order and there was no dressing for the salad! I drove the short distance back to the store to get the missing dressing, meanwhile my order is getting cold. I went inside and asked to speak to the manager. I told the manager on duty that I had stopped patronizing their store in the past because of their problems with order inaccuracy and shortages. I also told her that the only time that they seem to be able to get my order correct is if I order inside where I can watch them prepare my order. She asked when I had placed my order and I told her less than 10 minutes ago. She responded "Oh I was in the restroom then" My response was "So, are you saying that your staff can't provide your customers with ALL of their order unless you are there to supervise them?" No response from her and she turned and walked away! I don't understand what Wendy's is doing at their corporate offices, (which are just on the other side of town) when it comes to training their managers but, I know it's wrong! I also know that I will not be visiting that store and possibly all of their stores again. Which, is a loss for them because generally when I make a stop there my order comes to no less than $40-$50 most of the time, because were feeding 5-7 people at a time.

Just went through the drive thru and they didn't give me one of my nuggets, so after driving all the way home and finding this out I drove back and found out that they also gave me the wrong receipt when I tried to show them I had purchased nuggets! Bad experience at Wendys today! Especially when the manager is trying to prove you wrong when your not!

Wendy’s food poisoning

My girlfriend and I recently enjoyed a holiday in the Dominican Republic. When we were returning home my girlfriend Diane had a single cheeseburger with fries at the Wendy's Restaurant at Punta Cana airport. My girlfriend Diane, only ate half the burger because she thought it didn't taste right. 4 hours into the flight my girlfriend developed food poisoning symptoms (stomach cramps, vomiting & diaorrhea). Upon landing at Manchester airport in the UK, Diane ended up in the local hospital, where it was confirmed that she did indeed have food poisoning. The Wendy's at Punta Cana airport was the only place that Diane ate and I didn't during the entire holiday. I did not suffer any effects of food poisoning. Diane ate the suspect burger on the 8th July and is still feeling the effects (today being the 26th). I tried complaining to Wendy's on their website, but unless the restaurant is in the US, Canada or El Salvador you cannot make a complaint.

My husband and I go food at the drive through at this Wendys and had ordered my 5yr old son a cheese burger! luckily my son asked why the burger he was eating was PINK to notice that the burger was completely RAW! This is utterly disgusting. I wiah there was something I could do!

we have gone to wendy's for the last time. the buns are horrible. too thick! the burger was only luke warm. this is the first time i have ordered a burger in about 7 years. still the same..bad...

I am researching that too now. 5/14/2012 at wendys, airport, puntacana, I had ultimate chicken that day, with a few nuggets. 16 h later I wake up and run to restroom. Watery waste, already twice. Fever, and muscle pain. Anyone else?

Wendy’s sour milk

I am 8 months pregnant and I stopped at wendys for a chocolate frosty shake, It was hot outside and I was thirsty for something cold. I get it, drive down the road to work and discover that sour milk was used...it was gross and caused me to pull over and puke. Ive been to this wendys before and #1, waited forever to place an order #2 got the wrong order all together #3 went back to get my correct order and was shorted on 2 burgers...also was given fries instead of the baked potatoe I ordered.

Wendy’s hamburger/fries

I ordered a #1 with mayo and ketcup only, with a coke to drink..at the
drive-thru..when I got home I had a #1 with lettuce, tomato, onion, mustard and 9 pickles..but not one drop of mayo or ketcup...the fries
were stone cold...as I was about to pull off, I realized I had no drink..
this store constantly has poor service, they never seem to have chocolate frosty..

Wendy’s my dad had to wait in line for 15 minutes

Wendy's when my dad went to your fast food restauant to get 3 hamburgers, 1 diet coke, 2 dr.pepper's and 3 frie's.When he came home the hamburgers were cold the drinks were watered down and the frie's were also cold.So he got mad and he was in a bad mood.So I will Never eat Wendy's again.So Wendy's what do you have to say for yourself.So next time try harder and don't make my dad have to wait in line for 15 mins. again.

They could just under cook it. That would solve your problem. This complaint is terrible because its not like the Wedny's people were in the back playing checkers while you waited. They have to cook the meat for a certain amount of time to prevent you from eating under cooked food and getting sick.

Also might be a good idea for your father to check his food before leaving to make sure that not only they have the right food in the bag, but to be sure it's hot.
