Wells Fargo denied access to funds

Currently have a Wells Fargo Health Saving Account. Recently received a letter from them stating they were changing the debit card issuance and reclaiming the three cards we have and re-issuing one card! Since there are 3 of us covered by the HSA plan, of course that makes it inconvenient if one of us needs health care services and do not have the card available. Their letter stated they were doing this for internal processing and that if it impacted us, we should use the card, get $ from an ATM and use that for the co-pay etc. Trouble with that is if we are not together, my daughter is at college, she does not have access to the card and we are not in the same city!

Call their support line and was told there was nothing they could do. I asked to speak with the person named on the letter, Elizabeth Dienst and was told that was not possible. They would not give her phone or email. I escalated to Wells Fargo Corporate and they also said they would not give the contact information and even went so far as to say they would document the complaint but that I should not expect any action.

Two day later, I got a call from Liz Ryan asking why I was so upset. Turns out that Liz Ryan is Elizabeth Dienst - guess they are using aliases. She told me they needed to make this change so they could issue each of us our own card and it should be completed in 6-9 months. When I asked why they could not run the process in parallel, she said it would "not be good for their bottom line". I questioned and she hung up! I called back, she apologized, told me they had made a mistake in the program, and that we should be patient for the 6-9 months, in other words forgive her for her judgement and remain inconvenienced and not have access to our funds! We ended the call with her stating she would be glad to help me expedite the movement of my account from Wells to another bank.!

This lady should be fired! Her superiors should be made aware of her actions, comments, and business judgements. I am now forced to change my plan, go through the inconvenience of transferring funds and getting the cards out to mY family members.

STAY WAY FROM WELLS FARGO HSA ADMINISTRATION!

Wells Fargo overcharged fees & & lost & escrow

They took six months for a refinance and quote us much lower closing costs that what was actual at closing. The old loan escrow was paid out to all kinds of accounts like a triple payment made to my homeowners insurance and a double to the township a interest payment to the old loan post closing and three HUD payments after closing and payoff of original loan driving it into a negative number. The new loan claimed the shortage from escrow from all of the overpayments on the old loan and they raised my monthly payment to make up for it. I have been trying for a year now to get it straightened out and all that has been fixed is I have received one refund for one payment from the insurance company. I have all the info and customer service says to send it to them so I do and I never once have heard back from them, so I call and start over with someone else and it goes the same way. I am considering a payment stoppage to get their attention, but I’m afraid that will mess things up worse. I need help!

Wells Fargo mortgage modification process

Wells Fargo is a terrible company to work with and these words used are mild for how I really feel.

Around Sept 2009 I started looking into loan modification requirements as I saw my income dropping considerably. Though things were tight I was on time with my mortgage and car payments which are also with Wells Fargo.
I contacted both the mortgage and auto loan departments. Was told by the auto dept that they didn't "do that" for auto loans. And would refi my loan if I put down 7k. Yea guys, don't have!

The mortgage department stated that I had to go through a "forebarance" period first and had to provide a whole list of documentation and a hardship letter in addition.
During all this process I asked repeatedly if this would have an impact on my credit as I did not want to compromise this. they told me it wouldn't because it was like refinancing a loan. Ok then, I continued on.

The concept of forebarance is counter intuitive because it requires that you pay lower monthly payments based on the agreement they have you sign. Then at the end of it, typically 4-5 months, you have to pay the difference. So why lower the payments if you want me to pay it anyway, just later?

Not 2 months into this process I received an alert from my Equifax Score Watch and I had dropped 100 points because Wells Fargo reported that I was behind on my payments and even though they posted that there was an agreement it made no difference. When I was trying to refinance my car loan it came up as a derrogatory because it shows several months late.

Talking to people in customer service is pointless because you get a different person in a different city each time and they give differing information. Mostly they don't really like their jobs and do the minimum to assist and can't function unless it is scripted.

After many calls to different places I was put in touch with the presidential offices of Wells Fargo. There I spoke with the same person each time and he was clear that what had happened should not have.
So his solution to assist me was to bring my account current, end my forebarance agreement, send an update to the bureau to cancel out the derrogatory one and then restart application for modification.

I figured I had nothing to loose and went along with it. He had assured me he would be monitoring the account personally and it should not be reported until it was modified. Guess what. Yea, it was reported yet again. So you can imagine what my credit looks like now.
Additionally, the "investors" who are the ones that determine whether or not you qualify for modification, denied it because my mortgage was current! Am I missing something here? I couldn't believe it.

I am currently paying half of what my regular mortgage payment is under the new forebarance plan but when Sept comes and they want me to pay the balance, I won't have it. Last time I took all the extra money to pay off other bills and ended up having to use my tax return funds to bring the account current. This time there is no refund to access. I'll keep paying the reduce amount until...

Will they give me a modification? Who knows. But I'm not going to worry about it. I have done all I can.

The auto loan department, once I missed a payment, sent me to their collections and they called to offer me a modification. One year later.
Too late Wells Fargo. I cannot afford a car that you gave me a loan on in early 2009 and you qualified the car as being worth what the dealer charged me at 30k, giving me a loan for 25k and now you tell me it's only worth 13k.
So I say thanks for nothing Wells Fargo!

Aren't there laws and/or regulations that oversee the process? It is most discouraging...

WELLS FARGO IS THE WORST COMPANY EVER .

Wells Fargo first trust deed recoveyed in wrong county.

This loan was supposed to be done and recorded in april; currently I am showing that there is two trust deeds on the property and no reconveyance of the & ldquo;first trust deed” that was placed on the property in october of 2002. This business practice is unacceptable I expect that the original trust deed will be reconveyed, and the substitution of trustee will be filed in solano county. I also expect that the reconeyance of trust deed and substitution of trust feed that is filed in placer county to be negated in placer county. I do understand that once a document is recorded in that county it cannot be removed but you can resolve the problem at hand insuring that it does not affect my personal record.
I have been dealing with wells fargo for over two weeks and have not gotten a response from any of the persons that I have been dealt with via phone. They refuse to give an email address and last name for anyone in the post closing department their excuse is that for & ldquo;security reasons you can fax but cannot email the post closing department.

Nationwide title
The title company has not perfected the lien against the property nor have they reconveyed the first that was original placed on the property as you see by the solano county assessors’ office. According to placer county assessor’s office the title company failed to put a assessor’s parcel number on the documents so that they assessor’s office could compare the parcel number with their records. Placer county assessor’s office also failed to compare the reconveyance of the trust deed with the trust deed that was supposedly recorded in their county. Having this information at hand, placer county assessor’s office failed to send the documents back to nationwide title for further review by nationwide title.
This poses a problem of great concern considering the property is located in solano county, california, and should have been sent to the solano county assessor’s office located at:

Trying to clear up a cloud on title with Wells Fargo Home Mortgage. It is impossible to communicate with them when you only are allowed to write a letter, and send it via snail mail, or by fax. GRRRRR! Don't use WFHM for your home loan needs. WFHM SUCKS!

Wells Fargo payment is not apply correctly

My name is Carlos Tellez
I have a Car Loan with; Wachovia Bank, a Division of Wells Fargo Bank, National Association
My Loan # [protected] my monthly contract payment is $314.74
My life with the Wachovia Bank, A Division of Wells Fargo Bank, National Association it has been
A nightmare.
When I got the loan I requested for 5 years and when I signed it was for 6, I thought I was signing for 5 yrs
My payments is $314.74 monthly,
My payment’s option is.
1. Sending a check
2. On line
3. Over the phone
There is not option of extra payments tours your principal.
I have been calling and I was told if I want to make a payment on line if I pay extra I have to call back
To repost my payment, if I pay $339.74 the contract payment is $314.74 and the extra tours the principal.

What this bank does is, they applying my extra money tours my monthly payment,
On FEB 2010 they make pay more on my monthly payment because I did not pay enough
If I am making my payments early, and I paying more without skipping a month how I have to pay more.
How my principal does not go down?

The customer service representative told me to call back to get my extra payment posted tours my principal.
Every time that I’m calling is a problem.
Each one tells me something different.
Wachovia Bank, a Division of Wells Fargo Bank, National Association
asked me to make my payments on line
But Wachovia Bank, a Division of Wells Fargo Bank, National Association does not have the options to make principal payments only, after I called and told them that I will reporting them to consumer’s complaint.
They told me that I have to send a separated check to be apply to my principal
Es inconvenient for me I have to pay more en stamp, envelope, gas.
So why Wachovia Bank, a Division of Wells Fargo Bank, National Association suggesting to their customer
To make payments on line?
And they do not have the options. They told me that the system applies the extra money tours my principal.
And is not so.

This will explain my next payment

Wells Fargo crooked practices

My house burned down in january 2010. My insurance paid me a sum less than my mortgage. I gave this money to Wells Fargo to pay toward my mortgage. They put it in a "restricted escrow" account and did not apply it to my loan. I told them - repeatedly - that I was getting a new loan to pay off the remaining balance (34000) and to rebuild, therefore I needed that money to go toward the balance not sit in limbo land! They refuse to apply this money until the remaining balance is paid. The new loan will not close until the true balance is reflected. This is a catch 22 that has now made me homeless. I still pay $1225. per month on a loan I truly only owe 34000. on with most of that money going toward interest because I am paying interest on the original amount - even though they have $90000. sitting in limbo! What a scam! I call their customer service numbers to no avail.

Wells Fargo account withdrawal

I am writing this letter to let WELLS FARGO know how unfair you have treated me and I have been a Wells Fargo customer since 1980. You went into my accounts and withdrew funds without my permission or acknowledging me so I could take care of the debt. For one this loan was set up as a business loan and the business dissolved. The loan was originally set up by the president of the PCLM LLC. Even though I did sign for the loan as a guarantor not knowing what the fine print says or knowing what it actually meant if the business did not pay the money back. I signed the loan but no one else is held liable but me and that is not fair. I was told by Dennis Cachuela that he would take care of this loan since he had left me to care for other things in the businesses. No one contacted me to tell me or advised me of my rights, it’s been over two years. Normally you are given a judgment before money is taken out of your account. When did this change? I feel I was taken advantage of and you did not even give me the opportunity to make arrangements to repay this loan.
You went into my accounts and withdrew funds from my parents Social Security account yes I moved funds to pay their rent and you took those funds. As well as taking my child support payment that has taken over years to get from the non custodial parent. I feel that if I was someone else other than single black women you would not have done this. You left me with absolutely nothing and that is wrong. No money to pay bills; put food in my house for my elderly Mother and my son. No funds to do nothing not even buy groceries. That is wrong….Especially since you did not give me time to work it out or advise me that this loan was not being paid.
You can look at my other loans, credit cards and accounts and you can tell that I do pay my bills. So you should have given me the opportunity to pay this bill. As I stated to Brandy the collection person I am not going to run away from this bill yet I cannot pay the out rageous amount that she wants me to for $500 I did offer to pay $200 per month. I already pay Wells Fargo $1, 050.00 per month for 1 Visa card and 3 loans. All which I am paying on time and now you have taken all my money so I cannot pay anything. I pay Wells Fargo over 1/3 of my salary I just cannot pay any more. This is one of the reasons why people file bankruptcy. I owe Wells Fargo over $108, 735.00, unsecured/secured and I know some of those loans were probably given to me just to make money, they should be legally challenged.
Wells Fargo did not give me time to explain what happen just the loan is not paid and we need to go after someone. The other partners left me holding the bag on this loan and other things and I have tried to get help with this situation. Bottom-line no one contacted me to pay this bill and that is wrong my address and phone numbers has not changed. I need my money reinstated and I want to dispute the transactions on my accounts. Finally, set up a reasonable payment plan to repay the debt stated above.

Wells Fargo never again

Wells Fargo Auto attempted to contact us at our home regarding a late auto payment and when they couldn't get us, the contacted our next door neighbors (whom we don't know) and asked them if they knew us. They proceeded to ask them to come to our house and return the call. That is one of the most unbelievable things that I have ever seen. With this company for 7 years and 2 auto loans and this is how they treat you when you are late with your payment. Never again will I ever use Wells Fargo or any of its subsidiaries.

As long as they did not explain the nature of the call, they have not broken any laws. I would not brag about 7 years and 2 auto loans if during those 7 years and 2 auto loans you have not paid on time - although, WF is a subprime lender, so that speaks for itself.

Wells Fargo harassment

I live in California. I had/have a business credit card and line of credit. I am really SHOCKED at how they are treating me! I fell behind due to unemployment and tried to work with them the best I could. They now call me every 20 minutes. I am taking photographs of the calls on my phone screen to prove how many times they are calling me. I no longer intend to even try to work with them. The last call they said I would have to be further behind before they would even try to work with me...but they would continue to call as often as they wished. SO...forget it. I don't even care anymore and they can go to hell. I am actually concerned about getting a job now because I know that they could call me at work. I am not sure what their goal is. If it is to get people to pay, they are making a huge mistake. When this started I had great credit and a good rating. I am demoralized. I am looking at moving from the United States entirely. We treat people very badly here, especially the banks who are posting record profits despite their knowledge of the unemployment situation. California is at 12.6%

The picture is just from the past couple of hours...they start this at 8:00 am everyday of the week!

It is okay that they contact me...not every 20 minutes! Dawn...I am quite sure you work for Wells Fargo. Business is business and this level of harassment is NOT business. If a boyfriend or a relative called like this you could take them to court or get a restraining order!

Wells Fargo patrick parhami

Patrick Parhami is the Branch Manger of this office. I have never heard of such horror stories than what comes out of this office. The yelling, talking down to staff. This guy seems to think that he is better than all of them. Sad that his performance is based on there production. I've heard about his 7 & 7 rules... how silly.

You can't pretend be in Disneyland, Patrick... when you work in hell! YOUR SIR, make the work environment terrible. Your staff would perform if you just let them do what they need to do. Mentor your employees, help them reach goals, praise for a job well done. When you give reviews and don't reward for performance, it shows.

The best Manager is the one that allows them to manage themselves. But of course what do I know, right..

Let me open by stating that my complaint is not for the STUDIO CITY office. I am sure that environment is better since Patrick Parhami's transfer.

Let’s recap. Your very funny quote is (" he trained many successful employees of WF.") NAME ONE! Name one individual that has been groomed from that branch and moved on to a higher ranking position. Oh that’s right Patrick does not promote from within. He feels people and positions can be replaced. Rather than the number of people he groomed and advnaced, lets discuss how many have been transfered/quit/let go.

You people seem to miss the point. Patrick Parhami has had more Human Resource complaints due to his conduct than any Manager in his area, possiblity within California.

Here is a simple mathmatical challenge..If you count on you fingers and toes, count the amount of HR complaints, then compare that to the amount of Circle of Stars events... you'll see the reality.

Let me correct and comment on this one: "You are cluless (clueless). we (We) all liked the info about the market. becasue (Just because) you don’t have any idea what goes on in the world (, ) that doesn't mean we don’t. you (You) are a [censored] (.)"

Now who is the [censored]... Should I grade that paragraph?

The fact is Patrick does not hold a securities license... You are being glib to think that that is even legal...Please take an English class.

As for me "working" with Patrick, I can assure you I have not. But I have many acquaintances that are aware of him and his tactics throughout the financial industry. That is the reason Patrick could not advance past the role of Branch Manager. If he is let go from WF, I can assure you he won't be finding a job anywhere around here.

This one is funny ("in my opinion, it should be an (honor) honer for a company to have such a devoted employee.I am very fortunate to have worked with him. Thank you Sir"). Really? .. Is this you Patrick? Are you trying to defend yourself? It sounds like you.

Either way, I'm glad someone has found the time to comment.

on behalf of all the current wells studio city team, we enjoyed working with him and are offended based on what you are saying - he was considerate helpful and helped all of us - you can see what is going on with the branch since he left - just because you did not like to work hard, does not mean your manager is a bad one - get a life and go be more productive in your life - if we have a chance to work for him again, you better believe many (actually all of us) will -

I have worked with Mr. Patrick Parhami for many years. He is impressive and extremely knowledgeable. it is a pleasure with working with a manager who cares so much about his customers, company and employees. he is the only manager in the entire company that successfully accomplish the unthinkable. he is the only manager, who attended ten consecutive years all the Circle of Star events with majority of his team members. he trained many successful employees of WF. in my opinion, it should be an honer for a company to have such a devoted employee.I am very fortunate to have worked with him. Thank you Sir

To "impressive employee" and "jdur", that have found the time to comment on this board. I can assure that my life and job are better than anything you could have imagined.

To respond to the first post: The word you are looking for is "loser", not "looser". The word looser means not fastened or restrained.

For the other comments from the second Individual..If you actually took the time to READ THE POST, you would see that my quote is "The best Manager is the one that allows them to manage themselves. But of course what do I know, right.."

So what we are dealing with are two individuals, or maybe one, that needs an English class, and should READ THE POST, before commenting.

Oh, and if I'm not correct, Patrick Parhami, the very "knowledgeable and caring" Manager, was downgraded in his role. Of course, that is due to all the "caring and knowledgeable" things he would require everyone to read each morning about the Yankees, the current weather, or that god damn raccoon at his house..even his "personal" view of the stock market.

If you truly follow this individual.. who is the "looser"?

Wells Fargo deceitful and rude

Auto loan servicing dept. lied about revewing our auto loan in an effort to get caught up after falling behind. While we were waiting for a return call with an answer, they came and repo'd our car. Our first contact was on a Saturday and we were told someone would get back to us the following week. That someone called on Monday or Tuesday and again stated our proposal would be reviewed. No word from Wells Fargo and then our car is taken!

Reps were extremely rude, judgmental and condescending. Words can't describe how dispicable and unethical their actions were.

Exploring some kind of lawsuit even if it is small claims.

I usually cash my payroll check with wachovia every 2 weeks and never had a problem or delay untill 4 weeks ago when Miss Kristin Ehlert started harrassing people to open an account with them by delaying the people and telling the tellers to send everyone who does not have an account to be finger printed by her and ask silly questions about why you have not opened an account with us etc etc and tryes real hard to persuade people to go with an account so you won't experience this kind of delay anymore. And then after all the harrassment people has to go back to the teller to cash the check, I don't get why they act this way when the check I'm cashing is a wachovia check and I chose not to have an account with them.

Wells Fargo loan modification scam

June 10, 2010

To whom it may concern:

I have recently had a tremendously bad experience with Wells Fargo and I do not know where else to turn except to the multiple complaint agencies and the public.

Last year the economy hit me and my partner, Joe Michael Gauna, very bad. He lost his job as an assistant educator and inadvertently caused us to fall behind in payments. Wells Fargo Home Mortgage graciously agreed to help us with a “Loan Modification.” I made my payment religiously on time every month. When I called in January to make my monthly payment, I was told that I was no longer to make any payments. My modification was canceled because I did not return some paperwork. I assured the woman I spoke to on the telephone that I did not receive anything from Wells Fargo that told me I needed to return. She understood and said she would set me up on another loan modification. She then told me about the multitude of different programs our there to include one that was instituted by the Obama Administration to ensure that consumers are not payment more than their fair share on mortgages. I requested to be reviewed for that particular modification and she agreed this would be the best for my situation, at the time. She asked me to call in about a MONTH to determine if I received a loan modification. In an effort to avoid any more late fees or delinquency I asked if I could continue to send in my payments. She respectfully said to save the money to ensure it was available for the modification. She indicated that all payments made at this time would be returned and not accepted by Wells Fargo Home Mortgage.

I called at the beginning of February and was told that my loan modification was declined because I had a Federal Tax Lien on some property. Well, I was surprised because this was the first home I had ever owned and I never had any other property. The woman I spoke to at Wells Fargo sent me a Non-Identity Affidavit to have signed and notarized by the my County Courthouse. I missed work and took it to the Courthouse immediately. They pulled the information and found the tax lien was on a different property and under a different social security number. I immediately faxed all this paperwork to Wells Fargo on February 22, 2010, and confirmed it was received with their representatives. I again waited for almost a month and was told I was declined a modification because I had a federal tax lien on my property.

Frustrated, I faxed in all my information again, confirmed it was received, and again was told to wait. I called another month later (now in April) and was told that I was denied because of my federal tax lien. I spoke with the representative for about an hour and it was determined that I indeed sent in the information proving this was not my lien on February 22, 2010, and the representative indicated they would resubmit. I waited again and then was told that my home would be foreclosed because NOW not only did I have the federal tax lien, but I also was past the acceptable amount of months you could be behind for Wells Fargo to help you.

Well, I explained this was of no fault of my own. Wells Fargo kept denying me and denying me any sort of relief. I kept calling and they kept confirming that paperwork was received but I kept getting denied. Then I was told this was my fault and I was the one who had to work with the Federal Tax office to ensure the lien was removed. Thinking ahead, I had already contacted the Federal Tax office and faxed over my paperwork on March 4, 2010. However, when I called they said it would be months before they could process anything…this was their standard procedure. Because I was met with this adversity from Wells Fargo, I called the Federal Tax office and (not) to my surprise they never received my faxed paperwork. Although I have a conformation sheet indicated the fax went through okay. I also verified the number with the Federal Tax Representative and in a very very casual way she said, “well I guess we just didn’t get it.”

So, stuck between a rock and a hard place I tried to turn for help but all the doors were closed. Who wants to get involved into a mortgage dispute at this time. NO ONE. Because I work for one of the BEST Company’s in America, I turned to them for help. The only thing I was able to do was liquidate my 401K, my future, my retirement, my life. I requested a hardship withdrawal of $30, 000.

I called the Foreclosure Attorney for Wells Fargo, Barrett, Daffin, Frappier, Turner, and Engle, LLP, and spoke to Luis. He could not have been nicer. He said he would send me a pay off quote but I needed to call Wells Fargo to take the payment of $30, 000 because I would have been short about $2, 000 which were the late fees and attorney fees. LATE FEES, I was not late! Wells Fargo would not take my money! So, I called Wells Fargo on May 20, 2010, and spoke to Jordan. He was so helpful and understanding. He called my bank to ensure the money was there and also checked with his supervisor to ensure he could make the transaction. Jordan then told me that my account would be updated and I would receive a new bill. Actually, he indicated my monthly payment would be lowered. I WAS HAPPY MY HOME WAS SAVED; or so I thought.

I called back on June 2, 2010 and was told by the Loss Mitigation department that my $30, 000 was just sitting there in what they called a SUSPENSE ACCOUNT. I explained that I was told that I was going to receive a new bill. The woman in the Loss Mitigation department indicated that my account no longer belonged in Loss Mitigation because I paid a substantial amount and she would ensure the $30, 000 was applied to my account so that I could start making monthly mortgage payments.

I called back a week later and was told that my account was in foreclosure status. I asked why and they indicated I was short about $2, 000 and needed to call the Foreclosure attorney’s office. I called the office and was told there was no notes that LUIS told me to call Wells Fargo and that I was mistaken. I was concerned about saving our home. I was making certain every detailed was followed and I even asked follow-up questions to every indicating, “ARE YOU SURE THIS IS THE PROCESS?” Everyone always assured me I was on the right path.

I have been back and fourth with Wells Fargo. I have spoken to Managers who promised to help me (Tim and Octavio) and I received no help. I actually spoke with Octavio for a very long while and he seemed genuine and said he would call me back. HE NEVER DID….ANOTHER PROMISE BROKEN. I requested to speak with Executives many time and was always told no one knew who they were but they would give me an address. I didn’t want an address…I wanted to speak to someone. I wanted someone to LISTEN TO ME! I even was transferred to a Tracy Starling Berry who was supposed to be an Executive and she didn’t even return my call.

I believe all of the actions by Wells Fargo are BAD FAITH. My $30, 000 was taken, with a promise that I would be making my regular monthly payments. I was told by the Loss Mitigation department that my account no longer needed to be in their department and I could start making my monthly payments. I was promised a call back by Octavio, a supervisor, and he NEVER called me back. I left a message for Tracy Starling Berry, who is supposed to be a leader of this organization, and I didn’t get a call back.

I have done everything everyone has asked. I am tired, depressed, lonely, scared, hurt, and out of my mind. I have not been able to interact with people normally because of this poor service. I believe I will soon lose my home because no one will listen or help.

Desperate,

I am in deep sorrow having to sell my home due to pending foreclosure. I am a single person that went through a change of income in my household in 2011. I called Wells Fargo so that I could apply for a loan modification since I had also lost my job. They had me to fill out enormous paperwork which I returned to them. On a weekly basis I went ahead and called for status on my application. No response. Not being able to make my payment in full I kept on calling and calling. Come to find out, the person that was supposed to have been helping me was no longer working in the same position. My paperwork was not found. I filled out another application. Certain paperwork was always missing. Finally I got myself a job but had to file bankruptcy to be able to keep my house. Then I lost my job one more time preventing me to make any kind of payments. I called Wells Fargo and explained to them what had happened They could not help me. I am selling my home. My payoff amount on my statement was $53.000. When the title company called they were told my payoff amount was $77000. More than what my ex husband and I had bought the house for. I called Wells Fargo and was with them more than 3 hours being transferred from person to person and receiving no answer to my question "Why did my statement reflect a different payoff amount than that what they were stating it was". No one could give me an answer. I asked them for a statement showing all the payments that were made on my mortgage since the beginning of time. They stated they couldn't do that. If I wanted something like that, I would have to try and get it myself online. I am selling my home with no money coming to me. This is not a short sale. I have no place to stay since I was laid off one more time and no means of Wells Fargo helping me with anything, Any advise? I will have to move out of my house by July 8, 2014. With $280 of unemployment a week, there is no way I can afford anything. There is no justice in this world when it comes to Mortgage companies. All these new laws, they haven't helped me. If there is an attorney that will benefit out of this deal by helping me, please give me a call. [protected]

Like many, I suffered a job loss in a field destroyed by the current economic crisis. I am now a middle-aged college student learning skills for a new trade. I needed a loan modification to assist my wife and I in keeping our home.
Wells Fargo Home Mortgage gave me the runaround for months, the only assistance that they would offer was 1) Deed in lieu of foreclosure 2) A short sale. Apparently Wells Fargo's idea of "assistance" is to relieve you of your property. Upon further pushing of the issue, Wells Fargo stated that they cant provide assistance unless the loan is in default. Completely unacceptable. Although it is a severe struggle, we have managed to keep our mortgage current, and our credit salvaged, much to the chagrin of our predatory lender.
Finally after months and months of uncooperation my wife contacted our U.S. Senator Harry Reid, and the bank was on the phone immediately. They sent us a packet to ascertain our life history which we dutifuly, and hopefully filled out, and then they offered us this wonderful plan of assistance...
They would reduce our payment by a marginal amount each month for six months, tacking on the difference at the end of our loan with interest and penalty, and our partial payment would be reported as late, also it would put our loan six months into a default status, and Wells Fargo stipulates that the reduction could be cancelled by them at any time, without notice, with collection proceedings up to and including foreclosure.
Are you kidding me? Wells Fargo's idea of assistance is taking my loan which is CURRENT, and placing it in a position of DEFAULT? This whole modification deal, the banks, and the feds included is nothing more than a scam.

I'm getting the same run around. Now after all these months WF says I don't qualify for a loan modification AND I am past due $4500. I made every payment as agreed upon- but it was less than my normal payment. Since I didn't qualify I am now being punished with not paying the full payments. I have no way to come up with $4500. My boyfriend said they would do this but I actually believed they wouldn't. I was wrong.

I am in the same unfortunate situation. I would like to know now to begin a Class Action Law Suit against this company. I have been in a living hell with this company and their many lies since 2008. I am gainfully employed. My 2 months behind is due to a lack of income which has since been resolved. I have continued to make my monthly payment but can't catch the delinquent 2 months up. How difficult or even risky to add to the end of my loan which is 11 years old?
Time to empower those of us who deserve the break given to this company. Come on, share the wealth.
Class action law suit is in order.

I read this and its like the story of my life. I hope somthing happens soon or they are going to be up for the worse case senario. We worked all of our lives to have somthing and get caught up with schysters that only hurt trying to fix the problem. My home is currently for sale and I will probably end up giving it away with the market the way it is. I am going to keep praying. somthing good has to come from all this wrong doing..

Mine was pretty much the same story. Wells Fargo is a bunch of weasels and they weaseled out of a trial modification. They gave me and my family a run around for 15 months doing nothing. In the end they denied us after the trial modification.
I hear someone recently had a lawsuit against them. I am hoping it gets class-action status.

Thieves in our communities.
Do not work for Wells Fargo. You are terminated when you receive during customer telephone survey questions 4 - Excellent and 1- Good at each survey.
Customers are wondering why there are always new employees, existing staff is scared.
You will not be told the questions asked, just the result.
You will be terminated on the last day of the month so they do not have to pay health insurance, severance pay etc.
Because you were terminated it is difficult to find an other job.

Wells Fargo - potentially fraudulent advice

We called Wells Fargo Home mortgage to see what kind of financing might be available to us given that my employer was willing to offer downpayment assistance in the form of an equity sharing arrangement. Their lender's rep advised us to go with and FHA loan and gave me a Gift Letter for my employer to sign. My employer checked this out with legal counsel...

Wells Fargo payments

it started off as wachovia then wells fargo bought them out now what i can't figure out is why and i mean why would it cost more to pay it off then doing monthly payments. example would be if joe had 3500 left in payments til he gets the title however he's thinking why not pay it off. researching he finds out that the 3500 he has in payments is going to cost say 3600. who in the write mind does this why should it cost more to pay off a vehicle when it should be much less

First you need to understand that one thing is your principle balance and another whole diffenet thing is interst. If you have a loan on the RULE OF 78th, that means that its precomputed and when you pay of f the loan its only principle you pay which shows less.

However, in a simple intrest loan, you get charged the intrest per day (PER DIEM), from payment to payment. So that being said if your payment is 100.00, you have a per day charge of 1.00 but it took you 30days to pay what you do is 100-30=70 which means this. you did pay 100.00 but since its $30 dollars charge of intrest then whats left over goes toward your principle. Now with the account if you have late charges, or an early payoff pently you need to check that too. if you have access to your account online, you can pull a payoff and see those charges and you can see the payments being made, which will show you intestest being paid on each payment and the higher principle balance the more per diem it is per month. Also, remember per diem is charged on a daily basis from payment made to payment made.

if you need a copy of your contract just ask for it be sent to you. that way you can see what all the amts are and what youwere suppose to pay for the end of the loan, also if you pay late or get a deferment or anything to change the cycle of the loan, it will change how much you will pay in the end.

1.) The payoff is different then the balance because the balance is just the principal balance and the payoff includes interest up to the day the payoff is being made. 2.) In the example above of the balance being 3500.00 and the payoff being 3600.00 that could be that there is some fees on the account such as late fees which has to be paid, there will not be a 1000.00 difference in finance charges. 3.) There is no early termination in auto loans as there is in mortgages and if there is you are being ripped off. You can payoff your auto loan at any time, the sooner the better because it is less interest being paid.

It's actually not unusual. The original loan spelled out the conditions which likely included a service charge if the loan is paid off early. They agreed to give you money and you agreed to periodic payments of a specified amount that would be paid by a specific date. If it is more convenient for you to pay it off early, they reserve the right to charge you for that convenience. Always read your loan documents carefully, and clearly understand what you are agreeing to. Never trust a finance officer's interpretation or explanation. Regardless of what they say to you, it is only what is written on that document that really counts. Take your time. and fight the urge to just get behind the wheel of that new car.

Wells Fargo over draft fee's

Hi,

My name is Melanie Brody and I live in Rochester MN and Wells Fargo screwed me with there ridiculous over draft fee's! It all started on May 26th. I had checked my banking account and saw that I was over $600 withdrawln. I had noticed that Mayo Clinic had made a mistake and took out my whole clinic bill without my permission which started a whole bunch of OD fee's. I called Mayo and they realized they had made a mistake. Then I called my bank to see if I could get a stop of the fee's cause there was more coming due to the fact it was not my fault. Then a banker named Sherral at the main bank said there is nothing she can do. We just have to wait till they all go threw! So let me say I am a single mom to a 14 month old and it's memorial weekend. Now as the days go on I'm still negative in my account and fee's are still acummulating from the times I used my card before I knew of this problem. It's now Friday and Sherral tells me that it's the holiday weekend so nothing can be done till Tuesday! That means no money for over 7 days now! Tuesday comes and I see my money was returned to me from Mayo but my fee's were still there! I also just got paid which is automatically deposited into my account. Almost half of my paycheck went to my fee's which I did not occur and SHOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY! I call Sherral and she tells me Mayo and her basically made a deal that they remburse my money (which they should do anyways) and that they cleared my bill. I said okay but what about the $300 in fee's?!? She said that it's not a bank error so there's nothing she can do! I got very upset because I have bills to pay, a child to feed, diapers to buy and Wells Fargo just STOLE $300 of my money for something I didn't do! What the F! She did not care about my situation. She just kept telling me I don't have a Mayo bill anymore. I said I don't care about my bill! I will pay that off in time with small monthly payments which I could afford. I said what Mayo does for me and my bill has nothing to do with the OD fee's. She did not care and left me screwed. Now I can't pay my denist bill and I'm completely broke. My hours have been cut and every dollar counts! F Wells Fargo. They don't care about people only stealing there money and I will tell everyone I know my story and try to get them to switch banks! They stole my money and don't care. If you wanted me as a customer you'd overturn my fee's that I did not occur and try to help me get back on track not basically give me the finger. I believe in karma and Wells Fargo will hopefully go out of buisness and get what they deserve for all the people they screwed! I wonder if I can sue for pain and suffering on this one, hmm..
