I too found a charge on my credit card from this company. I have no idea who they are or how they got my information. After reading other complaints on this website I called the company for a refund, and the representative that answered the phone was very rude and hung up on me. Be very careful with this company. It is all a scam.

I purchased online blood pressure report from Barton Publishing. Later discovered 2 charges totaling 59.90 for a membership I never agreed to from wellnesswatchers. I never gave any cc info or personal info to them, yet they must have used the info from Barton to complete charges on me. I called and was sent a form to fill out. We will see if a refund happens. I also notified my Credit card co. If I would have done this to someone, I would be in jail now. How do they seem to get away with it? How many others have been ripped off and not known?

Made purchase from Urban Nutrition. Clicked on "free shipping" icon. Pop-up window wanted my info in exchange for "free shipping". I closed pop-up window without giving my information. Didn't matter. Yesterday (8/27/08) my account was debited for 49.95 from WellnessWatchersMD.

Called [protected]. Man answered. He wanted to mail me some paperwork. I told him I wanted the charge reversed and paperwork was not necessary to complete that process. He forwarded me to accounting voicemail. No one ever answered.

Called Urban Nutrition twice. First call, a man told me Wellness was an affiliate. Gave me a direct line to call [protected]. Reached personal voicemail for a Janine Kinect (sp?). Second call, a man tried to give me same numbers. When I told him they were not good, he said he would transfer me to Michelle. Then left me on permanent hold.

Immediately went to google these two companies. Found multiple sites indicating the nature of this scam. Contacted my bank. Canceled my debit card. Challenged the charge on my account. Their debit card fraud department will credit funds and investigate.

I saw an ad on Yahoo for tooth whitening product. Website stated that I was entitled to $50 rebate (the cost of the product). Next thing I know I was enrolled with this WellnessWatchersMD site and was directed to fill out a questionaire before getting the rebate. Then I was charged $1.83 on my CC for processing...who are these people and what do they have to do with the tooth whitening people?!?!?! It's a scam...they want to charge you every month just to look at their website.. I dont need or what their service...You need to disenroll ASAP and check you CC statement everyday. Total scamers...I knew this offer for "FREE" product had a catch to it...Just be careful with these types of ads and if you have to, call your CC company and cancel your card and get a new one, that's the only way to keep them from charging your account(s).

I purchased on-line a copy of "The Diabetes Reversal Report" from Barton Publishing.
Included was a FREE copy of "WellnessWatchersMD.
Included were the instructions "If you have
any questions or you would like to
cancel please call [protected] or
email support@WellnessWatchersMD.com".
I cancelled, within one day. the subscription, to the e-mail address above.
My credit card has been debited $29.95 per month for two months, without my approval.
Obviously, Barton Publishing has forwarded my Credit Card Details without my approval.
The e-mail address: support@WellnessWatchersMD.com no longer exists!

i simply wanted to try a FREE trial product. instead I am rooked into a scam! I have to wait for a coupon code to be emailed to me, in the mean-while...I am paying for something I didn't authorize. And my product and email neither one has been received...15 day later!
I want a full refundof my 2 debits totalling $32.94.
I do not want, nor did I authorize these transactions. Apparently I am not the only one either!

In April 2009, I ordered a tooth whitening product online that was offerred with a $50 rebate for trying Wellness Watchers MD. I got the product, tried the website, cancelled before the free trail was up and applied for my rebate. That was FIVE MONTHS ago. I have called the company no less than 5-6 times. Every time they have an excuse or now answers. Supposedly my check "got lost in the mail"...(yeah and your dog ate your homework too)...so they had to stop payment ont he check and wait FOUR WEEKS TO ISSUE A NEW CHECK-WHICH OF COURSE NEVER CAME!...three calls later and now they want another 24-48 hours to check on the status. These con artists think that I'm just going to give up but I'm not. I'm filing a complaint with the state attorney general and the Internet Crime Complaint Center which is run by the FBI. They would be smarter just to pay me the $50 but they are a fraud so they won't.

$110.90 total was charged to my Credit Card at 6 different times since last Sept 5th. I have no record of ordering, or subscribing to anything called "WellnessWatchersMD." Customer Service says I never activated any $25 Gift card they sent me, nor have I ever received any emails at opoefc@aol.com from them, not do I have any record of receiving something called a Remedy Report from Barton Publications, that was ordered through wellsnesswatchersMD, according to Customer Service. Please refund my $110.90. Thank you. Ed Cornett.

I have called repeatedly about a rebate check and have been told a "check has been mailed" "my account has been referred to a supervisor on an expedited basis" etc. It all comes down to the fact that I have not received the rebate check. In spite of numerous calls ALL OF WHICH HAVE BEEN ANSWERED BY A OUTSOURCED FIRM IN INDIA I have yet to resolve this situation which has been ongoing since FEBRUARY.

I have read the replies by Wellness Watcher personnel but have yet to see a message where the problem has been resolved. I would appreciate any response from these people but doubt I will receive any as they will not even answer their customer service calls. I guess it just got too hot to handle for their CSR's. Take my word for it the complaints are mounting and you will answer for scamming the public.

I have never subscribed to this site, so imagine my shock when I discovered I have been charged over 200$ in monthly subscription fees. I believe this is illegal and a scam. How do they get away with it..
Apparently I have a refund of one month coming my way (not the other 4 months though!) - am not holding my breath..
I am just so dissappointed and frustrated. Why is this company still allowed to trade?
thank you,

I was also scammed by wellnesswatchersmd. I ordered lip gloss online and fell for the rebate. No real details about how I would get the rebate until after they had my credit card number from my purchase. At that point it was apparent that the rebate was more hassle than it was worth. So I decide I just can't bother with the rebate and I didn't send it in. Next thing I know, I have credit card charges from thr rebate company for their "services". So I called the toll free number to speak with anyone about this prank. The semi-english speaking phone operator told me that in addition to the 1.83 I was already charged, I would be charged an additional 20.90 in 3 weeks for agreeing to the rebate, which really meant agreeing to some wellness membership scam. After I blew up at the poor semi-english speaking girl on the phone, she said she would have my account credited in 3-5 days and not be charged with any further fees. I had to tell her to take me off the rebate request list to do this. So no $50 rebate for me but I have the feeling I woulld have lost more $ than that in the end. Stay away from any company called wellnesswatcherMD or ionlineorder.com. Maybe its the same company who knows. The rebate offers that aren't instant, are usually a scam. Don't waste your time or $.

I placed an order for Hoodia Bites in December. One week later, there was a charge to my account for $1.83. I called WWMD and was told that I was not in their "system" and that they can't do anything about it because they coudn't find my information. I called my bank and filed a fraud claim, the charge was reversed. Today I found a charge for $59 and another one for $1.77. I called my bank AGAIN and filed another fraud claim. I have also closed that account so that they can not steal anymore money from me.

I NEVER went to their website prior to them charging my card and then only to get their phone number. I NEVER bought anything from them. I NEVER authorized them to charge anything to my account.

They are FRAUDS and need to be stopped!

My credit card had an unauthorized charge of $1.83 and $29.95 in March 2009. I never agreed to their program and I actually called within 14 days to cancel after receiving a letter in the mail that they will charge my credit card $29.95. I made it clear to their customer service that I'm not interested in their product or program.

This company has taken funds from my checking account without my permission. I did not authorize any
transactions for this company. Actually, I have unsubscribed from this business. The amount of $29.95 needs to be credited back into my checking account or my attorney wil be contacting you in regards to this matter.

I ordered a report from Barton Publishing and then found a charge on my credit card for WellnessWatchersMD for a 29.95 monthly membership. I didn't order anything from them. After getting my credit card bill I went back through my emais and found one from them that I thought was spam and hadn't read. It said that I had 14 days to cancel otherwise I would be billed for $29.95. I went to the website to cancel.

I had ordered Orexis (Male enhancement pills) which I received on time after my prompt payment through my credit card. On the same month I received my credit card statement showing an unauthorized charge made by a company named "wellnesswatchersMD" which I never heard of before. I called my credit card company and placed a dispute on this charge of $ 59 (also a charge of $ 1 totalling $ 60). My credit card company removed both charges and held till the charge resolved. 2 months gone by and the charge reappeared on my credit card statement. This time I called "wellness WatchersMD" to find what the charge is about. they told me when I bought Orexis I had agreed to take membership with them which is totally untrue and I demanded a refund. They agreed to send me a form and to fill it out and mail back to them. At present I am in the process of sending the form to them and waitingand hoping to see my refund. So, people, stay away from Orexis and this scamming company called as "WellnessWatchersMD"!

Soon after recently purchasing a book from Barton Publishing I received a rather long email from WellnessWatchersMD which said in part:
“---- creating your Health and Fitness Profile -----“
“Your member name is -------“
“Your temporary password is -------“
“Try WellnessWatchersMD completely free for 14days.”
“If you decide WellnessWatchersMD is not for you, simply call us at ----“
“Otherwise it's $19.95 a month with an additional first month initialization fee of $9.95, billed to your credit card.”
I checked no boxes requesting any membership trial period from WellnessWatchersMD on my initial book purchase.
I’ve never heard of WellnessWatchersMD before never mind requesting a membership and giving them my personal details. I contacted my bank about this unsolicited email and found them very helpful.
Good luck, be careful, and wish I had known about www.complaintsboard.com before!

I was in Austin, TX this weekend to visit friend and all we did over the weekend was watch movies and went out to eat once. When I got back i noticed a charge on my account for this wellness BS and called they said someone had to go to the website and and manually enter the info but i was not on the computer all weekend. I would agree this is a scam of some kind and the lady could not answer my questions she just repeated herself over and over. The fact i am getting a refund is besides the point, i should not have to get one in the first place because this was never done on their website by me. They had general info about me you could get from a phone book and somehow they had my debit card number. PEOPLE BEWARE THIS SMELLS FISHY!

I'm making no judgments about Joe Barton Publishing. All this is opinion only. I sat through Joe Barton's presentation on Arthritis Remedy Report. Red Flag #1-sounded too good to be true. Red Flag #2-only if you act before closing the website will you get the special low price. Red Flag #3-thousands of postings on Google by some website related to Joe Barton Publishing. This can drown out individual scam reports. Red Flag #4-Too many complaints herein.

I have severe rheumatoid arthritis. If their report is truly helpful, I lose as they've lost me as a prospect due to above. Don't listen to me, I'm an arthritic old man. Research any company before you buy their stuff.

Please call me at [protected] so I can fix this for you. My name is Charity, and my hours are 10am-6pm Central Standard Time. Same here! No $50 rebate check!
I ordered the teeth whitener on March 19, 2009. Received the whitener and called March 25, 2009 and did my "free heath assessement". Called and spoke to "office manager" on May 11, 2009 regarding the processing of the rebate check and was assured it was being sent. To this date I have not received that check. Definitely a SCAM! Thankfully I was able to get my "membership" canceled and have not been charged any more than the initial purchase of $54.98. DO NOT ORDER FROM WELLNESS WATCHERS MD or IONLINEORDER.COM!

I have to disagree with the majority of these opinions. After ordering the partner product, I then read the service terms, it was at this time that I realized I had been signed up for an additional service with WellnessWMD. After googlin the name I found the customer service #.
I called and was initially disconnected after speaking with Rhonda, oh joy! After trying again I spoke with a kind young lady named Jennifer and she assisted me with my inquiry as to what the Wellness service provides. She also explained the process of the corresponding rebate (to arrive within 48hrs of my order) offer that came up during my purchase of the original product.
It can be said that I haven't tried the product yet or that the rebate email hasn't arrived. But I do not agree with many of these comments, as I was able to speak to someone both times I phoned [protected], the Wellness Cust Serv line.
After all is said and done I will return to state my opinion of the product and the rebate process. Thanks for your opinions.

Jack - here is the link you can use: http://www.ionlineorder.com/wwmdrebate.php
I used this link to apply for my rebate - it works. However, it may take 3 months to get it as I researched the site and they changed the terms to it takes 15 days to process the rebate after they get it and then 3-6 weeks for you to get your check. It used to say 2-3 weeks to get the check from the time you send it in. What jerks. -- anyways, when I called them a couple weeks ago, they told me my check was supposed to be issued the 4th or 6th (cant remember) of APril (this month) and they were having issues with being behind and now it won't be issued till late next month by the 28th of march. AGain What Jerks

Use this link: http://www.wellnesswatchersmd.com/customerservice/anr-rebate/WWANR.pdf to print the rebate form to fill out and mail in - now keep in mind - "You must include the ORIGINAL packing slip that comes with your order. No exceptions!" with out it you wont get the rebate check.

I should have gotten it by the 3rd week of march - I called and htey said wait 3-4 weeks, I called today - they said wait till may 28th! I am soo angry! They said 2-3 weeks and I would have my rebate not 3 months!

Stay away - they personally told me that this is happening to all of their customers ! They said they didnt expect the overwhelming responce! I ordered the teeth whitening system!
